I’ve made decent gains from following a few stocks here and there $PL, $RKLB and I’m heavily invested in $CHGG because I use Busuu. But I’ve also made some losses on other stocks. The rest of my funds are in VOO.

Alright - so the advancements of AI can also be considered a threat to CHGG. Why pay to get an answer to my question when I can ask ChatGPT? Either way it’s cheating so school policy/crackdown is irrelevant imo. Ok so VOO (or something similar) should be 90%+ of your portfolio. You should buy it every time your paycheck hits (dollar cost averaging). Don’t worry about the price just trust the process. It’s a managed portfolio of the top 500 companies in the US. It will be forever more reliable and a better deal than something like CHGG. As far as the Mag 7’s being overvalued.. like yes like TSLA doesn’t have supporting fundamentals and runs on vibes but like GOOGL? P/E (price/earnings ratio) is typically healthy 20-25. GOOGL is currently at 19 so technically fair/slightly undervalued. AAPL is like 32. Not awful compared to industry average of like 25. I’m not saying they’re cheap, but they are a much more fundamentally sound and justifiably priced. What metrics do you use to determine whether to buy a stock or not? CHGG is currently trading at 0.4× forward EV-to-EBITDA (or $0.52 per share). It's been green since April 10th. I think something is cooking.
Look at CHGG balance sheet, insider ownership, EBITDA.. No way the company deserves a $50M market cap. Yes, they are losing subscribers because of ChatGPT. But they also operate Busuu a competitor to Duolingo for $436M cash.
What you're referring to is that calls that expire *in the money* are automatically exercised. Your calls are out of the money and they wouldn't be exercised at expiration unless CHGG was over 1.5 at that time.

They have a language business named busuu, partnered with open AI, and they're in the same (sort of) sector as Duolingo which is Educational technology. I mean Duolingo itself has about $880 million in cash & cash eq. CHGG's market cap is way less than 300 million as we speak. This is a bargain.

The stock ran +30% last week, made my CALLS ITM, but they barely moved. I closed out my position with +15% gain. About half of what I would have gotten with shares.
