CHWY is a much spicier squeegee play than htz
Way overpriced. No squeeze will ever happen to CHWY.
What about CHWY? What you guys think.
Chewy! CHWY… up over 14% last month. Almost 80% short interest and float. Actually profitable company. 52 week low just last month. Plus, I see those boxes by damn near every mailbox in town.
I heard it used to be good for the wheel but months ago when I bought it, it dove down.... It's on an upward trend now and back at where I bought in so my calls will start to be assigned soon... I want them gone to free up cash so I can work just the large and medium caps.... My accounts are in transitions to a different stock selection criteria and method.... I call it "Directional Chaos" because I keep making changes to it or a whim cause me to do something against my plan or rules... Directional Chaos... Use APLD, CCL, AAL, oh and there's plenty others... look for upward trending price, sudden drops for small reasons , growth in earnings the previous 4 quarters, an RSI learn how it applies... I sell shorts to open at 20 delta.... I buy some long call LEAPS at 60 delta to, I close positions when the delta hits 10 or lower unless I just need capital to buy something else that is on sale... I don't plan on buying CHWY again until maybe next winter after Christmas season... maybe the funk is seasonal... but yeah..... seemed like a long wait and I need my theta to burn faster than CHWY provides...
Any thoughts on CHWY in the coming weeks?
I see CHWY in your list... curious on your thoughts about that one? I made a bit on SPY Monday, and kicking myself for not holding overnight thanks to PLTR! anyway, thoughts on CHWY very much appreciated.
CHWY too, consumers making a comeback
My only green stocks are NVO and CHWY. End times, my dudes.
CHWY🔥🐶 Sloppy inverse H&S
I had CHWY at the IPO, then sold it a bit later after I was down 25%. Then that shit skyrocketed a year later due to the pandemic.
$CHWY. Everything looks pretty good. Down like 40% from a year ago. Growing still good Financials and buying back stock and has allocated alot to that. Stock should be at least $30, trading between 20-21. $ORLY I think they are also going to go back up. They are the best run out of the auto parts companies and doing well. Im looking for 100 at least on this one.
I cut my losses a few months ago after holding for several years, simply because I'm trying to re-focus my portfolio since I have less time to follow individual companies and CHWY didn't make the high conviction cut. I had held for just over 6 years. Took a 22% loss while SPY returned 83% so massive L for me. I sold at $25/sh and figured I'd keep an eye on it just to see what it does. The fact that it got all the way to the teens in share price was pretty wild. I don't think I'm a buyer here but if it got back to below $18 again, I'd probably have to pick some shares up.
I'm bullish on $CHWY. Their pivot towards high margin vet care is interesting, and I personally love their customer service. Holding a position of 205 shares @ $17.75.
Is CHWY starting to be cheap? 0.63 P/S for a business that has 80% of its customers on auto ship seems interesting.
Yes! Chewy customer service is the best experience ever. But CHWY is investing in AI now and I wonder what changes lie ahead
Let’s short squeeze Chewy $CHWY

**Verdict: No — CHWY is not currently a clean short-squeeze setup.** It has some squeeze-sensitive features, but the key pressure indicators are not strong enough. **Why:** CHWY trades around **$20.56**, with market cap about **$8.62B**, P/E about **34.3**, and current volume below the reported average-volume base used in short-interest calculations. Latest reported short interest is **25.31M shares**, down **9.36%** from the prior report, with **days to cover around 2.4**. That is not extreme; strong squeezes usually need rising short interest and a much tighter cover window. The float data is messy: MarketBeat shows **6.20% of public float**, Yahoo shows **10.93%**, while Ortex/Fintel-style “free float” calculations show much higher figures around **66%–70%**. The higher number likely reflects Chewy’s unusual dual-class/control structure, not necessarily actual borrow stress. Chewy reports **232.5M Class A** and **176.5M Class B** shares outstanding, with BC Partners owning **43.2%** of shares and **88.4%** voting power. Borrow stress is low: recent borrow-fee data shows roughly **0.32%** with millions of shares available to borrow. That argues against an imminent forced-cover squeeze. Fundamentally, Chewy is not a weak distressed short: Q1 2026 sales rose **7.7%**, adjusted EBITDA rose to **$253.1M**, adjusted EBITDA margin was **7.5%**, active customers rose **3.6%**, and free cash flow improved to **$70.8M**. But the catalyst backdrop is mixed: recent earnings were not a major upside surprise, full-year revenue guidance was reportedly cut to **$13.4B–$13.55B**, and investors remain cautious about stretched consumers and pet-category softness. **Conclusion:** CHWY has **moderate squeeze potential**, mainly because of confusing/free-float mechanics and elevated bearish positioning, but it is **not poised for a high-probability short squeeze right now**. The missing pieces are: rising short interest, high borrow cost, scarce borrow availability, explosive call buying, and a fresh upside catalyst.
I trust them because the made me a lot of money. They also turned me onto to CHWY at $$26 and sold at $100. They also told me to stay away from CELH. I spoken to them on ELF and they said “nothing special” lower end for high school girls - they prefer Sephora or L’Oreal products.
I am buying CHWY in his honor
Too many. Some top hitters: CHWY this past April, shorted gold during the run up back in January, DVLT.
On a basic rDCF, assuming 7.5% FCF margins and -1% annual dilution, they are priced for -4.5% revenue annually over the next decade. I cut my losses a few months ago after holding for several years, simply because I'm trying to re-focus my portfolio since I have less time to follow individual companies and CHWY didn't make the high conviction cut... ...but these prices? Man, it's really tempting to get back in.
Someone stop me from buying leaps on $CHWY. The valuation is starting to get too cheap to ignore.
My wife spends approx $400 per month with CHWY. We have a lot of animals (no kids). We bought shares after a big dip on earnings about a year ago and eventually sold at a big loss. I can't see how you can buy this company looking at the 1 year chart.
I fully understand your sentiment, but my track record extends beyond 2, I only shared 2 on Reddit as if I'm going 'public' with a bet of mine, I want to be much more willing to share an idea than just show a position. Usually at the point I share is where I believe the bottom is based on the financials of the company. Even with great picks, I sold both of the others way too early, and have a net average return of 27.32% annually since 2020. My personal bets are not always right, nor is anyones, but based on my own research which anyone can do on their own as well, at least consider reviewing $CHWY for staying power, and expansion if the right cylinders are met. I'm not here posting about pump and dump stocks, but with a belief and enough conviction to share a single pick with the world. Healthy debate is good!
I sold my entire $LION play and put it into $CHWY. Good luck to you too!
If you think the market has overcorrected and CHWY is worth $17.50 a share, you buy 100 shares for $1,750.00, sell one put with a $15 strike price and sell one call with a $20 strike price and between the two sold options you have now collected $3.40 in premiums on your $ 17.50 investment, about 19%. The trade is in the black as long as CHWY stays over $15. If CHWY goes above $20.00, you make a 33% return in under 6 months.
I’m struggling to understand the strategy here. Would you decide to get a put if you are bearish about CHWY (short term) and a call if you’re bullish?
Selling a put is like writing an insurance policy on the price of the staock. The seller would collect a $100 premium (100 shars at $1 a share), but if if on October 16, 2026 CHWY was trading for less than $15 the investor would have to pay $1,500 to buy 100 shares of CHWY for $15 a share. If CHWY is trading over $15 a share the put expires worthless and the pull seller has a $100 profit. On the covered call, the invetor buys 100 shares of CHWY at $17.60 each, and then sells a Call for 2.40 and immediatly gets back $240 of call premium on their $17.60 purchase of 100 shares of CHWY. If CHWY is trading at more than $100 a share in January the person who sold the call will be sad as the call will get exercised and he will get the $20 strike price. If CHWY is trading under $20 the call will expire worthless.
I bought a bunch of CHWY as well. I feel like I’m missing something. P/S of .57. 84% of sales Autoship. No long term debt. I know growth might be slowed and their margins suck especially after fuel cost have been rising but it just seems extremely overblown.
You can collect a $1 premioum selling a CHWY put with a $15 strike and a October 16, 2026 expiration. Or buy the shares for $17.60 and sell a covered call at $20 1/15/2027 call for $2.40.
I've bought CHWY recently as well. Either I'm missing something major, or it's very underpriced at the moment.
I am in the pet industry and CHWY is the dominant force. They got knocked down currently but this is a good point to enter at. May drop a little but I expect it to go back up eventually. They really understand pet parents and are very wise on trends. Them dropping a bit would also be a good lesson about waiting out dips.
Ok so CHWY really is gonna lift the market, awesome
Starter in CHWY today. Find me a pet owner that doesn’t use it. I’ll find you a bad pet owner. That’s called a MOAT
CHWY war dogs got to eat
Unusual option activity on MMM , June 12th 157.5. CHWY had a load of puts also for same date at 18.5 strike. Volume now 13000 weeeew
CHWY has lost me a ton of money because I keep catching knives and the damn thing won't bounce because the CEO is being a douche
Really liking CHWY chart for calls through earnings depending on Mondays action.. $23C for 6/16 seems worth the risk and further out for $24/$28... Could be completely wrong
Is Chewy (CHWY) maybe the one for calls. Its hovering around 52 week low
CHWY gonna lift us to ATHs
Not me. I'm buying things near the bottom of their 12m range in a number of sectors that are not part of the semiconductor bubble such as CEG, CHWY, DG, HD, NVO, SMR, and SOFI. It's too late to chase things that have bubbled to ATH and I don't believe that sector can deliver results at their current valuations and capex burn rates.
Yep CHWY is awesome value rn. Always the most vocal doubters at the lows of ANY asset
Hoping some CHWY pullback.
WOOF, more like OOF. Calls on CHWY it is
I am playing WOOF $2.5c, and CHWY $22.5c as a backup plan
Hey kids remember when I questioned how hard CHWY had fallen last week and yall just downvoted the shit out of me cause it's not ai/tech? It's up ~15% since then. Lmao that was some quick easy profit.
I also hold some weed stocks, TDOC and DOCU from Covid. I averaged down on CHWY and got out profitable, but I keep those old relics to remind me not to chase the flavor of the week, or at least to sell when I'm up.
Since you can't invest in companies like OnlyFans, the next best alternative might be to create a basket of stocks that might rise with the continued expansion of simp culture. So I guess a hypothetical ETF named SIMP might include: \* META (Instagram profits from simps; women win, men lose) \* MTCH (Match Group owns a ton of dating sites; women win, most guys lose) \* CHWY or ZTS (Nearly every single young woman now owns a dog or cat as a child substitute) \* RDDT (obvs) \* TTWO (simps who aren't getting laid probably play more video games) Any other good stocks for the SIMP theme?
Go CHWY. Best discount around on a guaranteed thing.
\-54% in 1 year. Bought in Sept because my wife is the crazy cat lady and spends lots of $ with them. Has done nothing but drop since then. No moat. I'm done with CHWY.
People will trade down in food, they will get one less toy, etc. Additionally, you're not thinking about the sad reality that if the consumer is stressed, how many animals will be put up for adoption or how many won't be adopted? CHWY is not only existing pet parents but a stream of new ones. There have been plenty of stories over the last year or two about increasingly full shelters. Also, the entire pet space is down - look at ZTS/IDXX in recent months, among others. If someone wants to make the argument that CHWY is getting oversold, fine but to act as if everything is great is a completely unbalanced argument that doesn't reflect negatives that are clearly happening across the entire pet space.
Man CHWY has just been getting fucked relentlessly for the past year. Anybody have any thoughts on a buy low bounce, or is this just a true dog turd?
PYPL and CHWY both will go private. It’s honestly ridiculous they haven’t already.
CHWY has been fucking murdered wth
CHWY primed for short squeeze, anyone?
Is the guy who was shilling for Chewy okay? Just asking because I'ma jump his ass for convincing me to buy CHWY.
CHWY calls, I am not uncertain. This turd is finally going to get some news to rip....
He founded it, but never managed to run it profitably. If he hadn't sold it off, so that others could come in and fix the business, they would have probably gone under. Even so, CHWY stock is down 66% over the last 5 years and down 42% over the last 12 months.
Serious question: Do I sell my Negative port positions (NKE, CHWY, SNAP, PYPL) and move all of those $$ into DRAM for the year
In the last 6 months, I have made a few fucking terrible decisions. 1) I sold RKLB shares at $74 in December because I thought that it was overvalued. 2) I got shaken out of APLD at $21 amid the now seemingly harmless energy crisis and price collapse a month ago. 3) I bought into ONDS and CHWY. I fucking belong here.
Thoughts on CHWY? Getting absolutely hammered and only thing I can think of is Ryan Cohen antics
Yo what's the deal with CHWY
Incidentally, that's why CHWY is going to skyrocket in the next year. Because people can't afford kids, but they still want to splurge on their pets. Not only are they posting growing revenues, growing gross profits, and net income, but I see Chewy boxes all over my neighborhood.
Lol what you going to do? Calls? Seriously though, CHWY is undervalued. It's one of those boomer stocks that isn't rockets, tech, AI, or quantum computing.
I wasn't asking you to join me in investing in CHWY you smug idiot.
CHWY is growing and they are recession proof. Ain’t nobody gonna stop feeding their pups. I like your call and I shall join you (shares, like a pussy).
Chewy (CHWY) is expanding their Chewy Vet Care footprint from 18 locations to 47 by acquiring Modern Animal. PR: [Chewy to Acquire Modern Animal Accelerating Evolution to a Fully Integrated Healthcare Ecosystem](https://investor.chewy.com/news-and-events/news/news-details/2026/Chewy-to-Acquire-Modern-Animal-Accelerating-Evolution-to-a-Fully-Integrated-Healthcare-Ecosystem/default.aspx)
I went 5-0 this week and last PENG 20% NCNO 20% INV 10% CHWY 11% VERI 20% (and PLAY) 20% which I did not trade but had it on my but list
My male friends and wife laughs that I talk to their wives and girlfriends about shopping. A couple are stay at home moms and control most of the household purchases. One of my male friend s understands I am doing simple market research and normally follows me stock picks. I was in both CHWY and CELH and their comments got me out with nice profits. Women. know prices and do not like being ripped off.
I've been printing all week on calls ... WRD, CHWY, and LOVE have me up 500% on the week https://preview.redd.it/xa6owx8uaerg1.png?width=1044&format=png&auto=webp&s=a936a47c30044eee53cfb4e24c4b17907e278902
I cashed on CHWY. I usually would want to short them but the stock was cheap and website traffic we really nice. My next move is VERI. Anyone like them too?
Ok ok, I got wrecked on CHWY. Please give ideas 🥺
Chewy (CHWY) just released Q4'25 earnings and guided for topline growth of 9% at the midline. That's their first guide for accelerating revenue since coming public in 2019. If they hit that guidance, 2026 will be their first yearf of accelerating revenue since 2020 and their huge COVID pull-forward. Stock is up 11% PM on the solid earnings and strong guidance.
Opened Today March 24 Calls: DPRO • VELO Puts: WGO • DRVN • CHWY • KC • CGNT *Disclaimer: Not investing advice... what's it all about, anyways?*
CHWY puts I guess, since ONDS reported too early...
Were you hating in December when the stock was about 400% up in the last 5 years? It's easy to play this XTD game with almost any stonk. Let's play it with CHWY: oops, it's 77% down in the last 5 years, but it's still showing in the Weekly Earnings pic... and they don't have $10B in cash ready to deploy and 6 profitable quarters in a row most recently 🤔...
SPY Calls today, Puts this week Puts on ALK, CHWY Calls on ONDS
Thoughts on WRD , PONY , ONDS , CHWY , BYND ? Long/short?
CHWY seems cheap. Dogs will have to join the fight. They need fed as well. Those international shipping rates ain’t cheap either.
LOL I finally bailed on my small CHWY position this morning. Shit has been a dog (appropriately) for too long.
Sell covered calls on each until the shares get called away.. well.. maybe not RIVN, DIS, CHWY.. those, with the cash from the others, I would buy more. We got killed on DOCU as well..
When you buy LEAPS, are you usually looking months out or a year+? With BULL I was hoping it would make a run like HOOD did lol. I know people who lost way more than me but it still hurts. CHWY was just dumb ngl — I listened to some guy on Reddit who hit big on ORCL earnings play last year and said he was going all in on CHWY earnings. You know how that worked out. Honestly I just need to do more research instead of listening to people on X and Reddit. Never even heard of Warsh until 🌮 nominated him.
When in doubt, just buy SPY and QQQ leaps. Never be impatient, never let missed gains affect you, and never play alternative stocks. People playing BULL were looking for another HOOD miracle, you're years away from BULL pulling a HOOD level run up. If you believe in it, buy leaps. CHWY on the other hand is a stagnant company, no idea why you played it except if you mistaken p&d bots here as real people. Warsh is the only retard who thought rates weren't high enough during the GFC back in 2008, he either sold his soul or he's about to pull off a heist to secure the Fed chair then go back to being a full inflation hawk. Unless you're a ber, pray it's the first one.
