Hola Fudge slapper, Ya, exactly. Earnings is just milking volatility crush. Sell high, buy back cheap. (Selling credit spreads). I do defined risk (it's a spread) so it has a short leg which is the gross revenue, then I buy a long leg as insurance to hedge the spread. I don't usually sell naked, unless...I have compelling conviction like, $GME is probably not going to double in price for $15 to $30...So I'll sell the $40 call naked...sometimes. CSP's and Covered Calls are great strategies, but they need a neutral or slightly bullish trading environment. We are not there right now. We are in a very bullish uptick. Historically, March should clear 1.1% on the S&P based on historical data in the Stock Trader's Almanac. I crunched the numbers roughly already today for my trading club. We are north of 3% in the S&P for March. Incredible. April should be hella green. This is a kind of...rigged casino environment where $NVDA is carrying the whole god damn market. So yea, most of my trades are income oriented trades where I collect premium from selling vertical credit spreads. I do swing trades and track specific sectors. Like the 11 sub-sectors that make up the S&P. $XLE is the winner for March. Energy and oil stocks coming out BANGING alongside commodities like gold. Petco is down 92% in pretty much a straight line since going public a little under 3 years ago and about $2 away from 0. The trend imo is towards convenience and people buying more and more at TGT, AMZN, COST, WMT and they already have Prime or Walmart+ or a Costco membership, etc. Maybe CHWY isn't a 0 who knows but "it isn't an eventual 0 but who knows'' and is going to be in endless, difficult competition with peers is not exactly a compelling thesis.

Yesterday I placed a options call for CHWY and it was up 20%, looking good for me, then I got greedy and said "it will keep climbing" 🤡 it did not keep climbing.
