3 EdTech stocks on my October watchlist: $RYET scaling AI labs, $COUR at $1.2B+ guidance, and $LRN with 244K students. Missing anything?

Might take more than a year, but Coursera (COUR). Leader in credentialed, university-backed, enterprise and government online courses. Just announced they're acquiring their largest competitor. Demand surging for fast, job-relevant learning.
ARKF NIO COUR - 3 yeas ago it was my peak regardium moment
Coursera (COUR) - growing new registered learners and revenue at double digits through AI-accelerated learning demand and a massive pivot toward enterprise upskilling budgets. It will look historically mispriced at $1.3b. AirBnB (ABNB) - A bit on the nose at the moment - but just quietly pumping out $1b a quarter in free cash flow. Voting machine, weighing machine etc etc.
Anyone on COUR Got news about partnerships with OpenAi
I try to make threads with sources. An article hasn't been made with all the stocks yet just Figma. Basically every time he named dropped a stock it sent it flying. Some of them include HUBS, EXPE, COUR, TRIP, etc.
I think the discussion whether it's the best language learning product doesn't really matter tbh. People like the idea of learning a language more than they actually want to put in the work to do. No, Duolingo is not the best way to actually learn a language, but it can get you to a conversational level of understanding of a language and like anything, it's more about what you put into it. Duolingo's moat is that whenever someone mentions wanting to learn a new language, most of the time the first thing someone will say is "try Duolingo". After that, it's the addicting nature of the gamification of the learning process and the feeling of progression. I believe they can achieve this with much more than just language learning. I am also incredibly bullish on alternative online learning sources as I think people won't see college as worth it anymore given how hard it is to find just an entry level job these days. I'm bullish on DUOL and COUR
own couple of COUR stock, should I hold?
COUR showing good price action, wants to pump more
IV on calls high, you think it’ll move enough to make it worth it. Can’t see a 36% move like COUR
A bit under the radar, and not on this list, but most likely Udemy (UDMY) will repeat what Coursera, Inc. (COUR) did this week.
yeah there was a post on short squeeze sub about NVAX when calls where stupid cheap, I put in like $100 and made around 1000%, but if I had waited it could have been 1800%, did the same thing with COUR today, also sold too early but oh well. Those were my gains but Fubo and SOUN were alright too, and I pretty much timed the top top there Just looking for those cheap calls that might print. Will probably just pick something with earnings coming on Monday
Earnings last night. Did the same for $COUR. Luckily for me, I chose Intel calls and learned another market lesson 🙃
I have the lowest sold $11c for COUR for the day, full regard, I'm a poor though so wasn't that much
well I sold my COUR calls for about 5x at open, but I think I fucked up
COUR was a good play, thx to whoever mentioned it, anyone got some other good plays to make come calls on?
What do u think about COUR ?
Sell all my COUR options at open or let some ride?
Thanks COUR for curing my portfolio losses (still down overall)
Crazy AH run for a few of the earnings plays, COUR ran, SCHL did well too, but I don't think a single regard in here played that bc books are for nerds
I know not many peeps are on this play, but is there any chance COUR goes up more with the earnings report? Dump at open? Tryna figure out best route for these 8/15 calls
to the dude that blocked me. I'm learning that getting in early on calls on sleeper stocks that have a bit of logic to it is much better than chasing this shit. 10x on Nvax even though I left 15x on the table by selling early, and rn about 6x on COUR, but we will see what that's like in the morning
want moor COUR pls
I knew I shouldn't have bought in this late lmao, will probably be out $200 before I can sell, but making it back and more on come COUR calls at least. Someone tell me the next rug pull like a week in advance, plz and tnx
anybody else take a shot at COUR before close?
I bought calls right before close bc I found nothing else interesting to gamble on and just saw 'COUR earnings after hours', only in for 13 calls at a few strike prices, but up pretty bigly rn, wonder if it will go down or up before open Tom
Does anyone here not use a burner? And let's go COUR
$COUR letsss goooooo
thank you for whoever mentioned COUR, only bought 13 calls but will make up for buying nothing but shit otherwise today
Should've bought more COUR calls.
buying COUR calls bc earnings and idk what I'm doing
just YOLOd some $COUR calls
COUR calls it is.
COUR earnings, watch out this will pump crazy.
Nah, its over. You cant short squeeze 600 tickers at the same time. Just buy COUR and enjoy life after earnings today.
COUR before earnings ez money. In 2 days there will be screenshots of big gains by everyone. No P&D, instead its more of a pump & pump if you know what i mean.
Forget those. Get some COUR before earnings call tomorrow and thank me later.
Try to kill COUR. 😏 If you listen to me you might actually get some money with earnings call tomorrow.
bullish or berish on COUR? more classes, but America dumdum
I'm asking you once again. What do y'all think of COUR
I have a bit of a dog in this game, but you can maybe look at companies that sell services related to coding education, such as bootcamps and afterschool programs. These businesses typically have good profit margins because most of the cost is real estate, actual educators may be paid anywhere from 20 to 50 an hour with no benefits. I don't know of any that trade publicly. Something adjacent, one I do know of is Chegg. My roomate and his friends used to use it to cheat for exams. Chgg chart basically looks like bankruptcy imminent. Another is Coursera, COUR, they still have some blood but not much. Anything that looks like it got beaten down in 2022 is thanks to ChatGPT. In a way, you short the CS major by being long AI or short on education services. This has a chance to backfire if these companies can adapt to AI. Although, I don't see how traditional education can do this, maybe there is government intervention? Seems like College is going the way of Blockbuster too. Maybe you can look into that too. No point getting a degree if the chances of a job in 4 years is a gamble because of CURRENT THING happening. College is essentially a gamble even though they pitch it as an investment. I spent most of my time in College studying over the internet, the only use of going to class was to take exams, so the only use of the institution is the paperwork. I think if the goal is knowledge and application we can just cut out the middleman and have the AI be the educator.
Also lost on COUR today. Had a few Nov calls but mostly Feb calls, and IV crush wasn't too bad for those, but still -3k or so.
COUR slowly remembering it actually beat earnings
WDC gains will shadow my COUR losses. My TSLA losses will shadow me forever
COUR $7.5 Put 11/15 will print very very hard tomorrow. Thanks all
COUR going to the moon after earning today
[https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity/stocks/cour/financials](https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity/stocks/cour/financials) COUR, operating income keeps reducing and their gross profit grows pretty slowly, net income is trash and not showing growth. I would not personally invest in this company, it's not showing massive growth under the hood, which is what I look for with LEAPS. If you want to see what amazing fundamentals look like, look up CMG on that site next. If you're buying LEAPS, you want growth in numbers like that. I buy maximum DTE. Strike depends on cost and price action, sometimes OTM, sometimes ITM at .65 delta.
Great write up. For #2, how do you pick the strike price and LEAP duration? Do you go for the maximum DTE, ATM strike calls? For example, I am looking at COUR (\~$7.50 currently) which I expect to continue growing revenue and margins over the coming years. For Jan '27 calls, I can buy (a) $5 strike for $3.75, (b) $7 strike for $2.85 or (c) $10 strike for $1.75. If I am confident in the company's ability to compound earnings, should I go for (c) despite the $11.75 intrinsic breakeven? Or would you do a mix of ITM, ATM, and OTM options like $5, $7, $10? And sell PMCC against the lot. My thesis: COUR is on the brink of profitability, with a huge cash pile ($700m net cash vs $1.2b market cap), competitors going bankrupt or on the verge (2U, CHGG) and consistently growing revenue / margins. I think their biggest near-term risk is overpaying for 2U's assets from a bidding war with Udemy. They are benefitting from AI-driven need for worker retraining and launching courses in partnership with major tech companies like GOOG, META, AMZN etc. A bit risker than an already-profitable compounder, but greater upside too.
Please explain how COUR calls are free money
Yall sleeping on COUR calls…
Absolutely Coursera, Inc. (COUR) is currently trading at $7.59, showing a consolidation pattern over the past month with resistance around $7.70 and support near $7.50. The technical indicators suggest a neutral to slightly bearish sentiment, with the RSI hovering around 48, indicating neither overbought nor oversold conditions. The MACD histogram is positive but weak, suggesting limited bullish momentum. Given the broader market’s cautious optimism and Coursera’s low trading volume today, the stock may face downward pressure if it fails to break above its recent highs. For today’s session, consider entering a short position at $7.60, with a first price target of $7.50 and a second target of $7.40. Set a stop loss at $7.70 to manage risk. Confidence in reaching the first target is moderate due to the lack of strong directional catalysts, while the second target carries lower confidence given potential support at $7.50.
COUR earns a fabulous -0.63 per share.
my crystal ball is telling me today's market will be: + Take that for what you will COUR
time to go all in on COUR, thats gonna pump hard today
I'm going to all in on GO and COUR
going all in on COUR and GO
Guys, any thoughts on Coursera (COUR)? Academic season started and so I expect a seasonal rise soon, analysts are giving average price target of $12 - 15 and long calls are pretty cheap right now. I'm expecting \~$10 by the end of the month or so

Tech layoffs every week, I would assume that would lower $COUR forecasts after a few quarters or in 2025 since the repeat people will drop off. No?
I'd at most do a quick play next earnings, since there seems to be a trend that COUR spikes after earnings just to then fall off again...
"You cannot deny facts" States no numbers or facts for COUR
COUR is a good bet, dont listen to most people in here.
UDMY did the opposite of COUR lol sheesh
Another to consider like COUR, is UDMY. They should make a pretty big move.
I had a good feeling about COUR, 75% luck 25% intuition lol. Idk how well that will do again this week but I’m looking at HTZ, JBLU for now. Cheap plays for big profits. Minimal risk, high reward (if it goes my way)
COUR absolutely beaten down for a while now, posted great earnings that proved sentiment wrong
I think this one will do differently from COUR. COUR mentioned AI as profitable is why it really flew
NWL and COUR had good earnings. There was some m&a deal activity in the gaming industry so not sure if that other stock was involved.
I was actually looking at some past earning reports % change to find the historical changes when the stock would move the most and at which percentage to place my strike price on. I got lucky with Tesla doing Strangle on the recent run up, hedged it with some puts so sold my puts on the way down. I haven’t really tried Straddle before though, ao basically you have the same strike for both call and put right? From what I’ve noticed so fae though, most insane stock movements on earnings have been around 15-20% up/down. There were some outliers yesterday like DXCM coming down 40% or COUR up 45%. Wouldn’t a strangle at 10/15% both ways work out better for maximising the outcome seeing that earnings play are quite unpredictable so basically maximum $100/$1000 (just to limit exposure to amount that can be lost)? I’m planning to do 0DTE SPY and QQQ scalp for daily then just putting a bit into earnings on companies I think that options are still cheap and expect them to move a lot. Ford was around $0.38 when I bought in.
little over 50% on WBA $12c. missed the COUR rocket. stopped out WU for change. not mad tho; fuck this market. going support a local nursery. pick up some coffee trees n carpet bomb the empty neighborhood lot with hemp seeds. fight me irl bitch! get rekt!
