There are still a bunch of mining stocks worth keeping an eye on around the $10 level even if a few have fallen back down. Wall St. is waiting to see if the market can force down the price of metals and rare earths, which I expect they will initially only for them to bounce back. The demand is going nowhere, and geopolitical concerns are only growing. CRML has twice already doubled where it's currently trading at for example. Big pharma needs more patents to replace all the ones they have expiring and is likely to start buying up companies left and right just to find more. Any individual speculative biotech has too much risk (see what happened with RVPH), but you only need to find one IRWD to make spreading around money worth it. I have friends who have made small fortunes just using this strategy.

It works as long as actual volatility is lower than the implied volatility. It's best for something like "OKLO" or "CRML", where you get a good premium, but the price movement isn't as drastic, week by week. But if you do this on steady ETFs on S&P 500, the premium is peanuts and you're giving up all the upside - if there's a good upswing

NB — Huge potential at current market cap, they have niobium and scandium which are very important and no other mines. They need funding, but are super far into the EXIM loan process for $800M $CRML - pure scam $AREC - massive potential, they have tech to process heavy rare earths and already have a partnership with the government $USAR - they have a shitty mine that will take years to develop. They have no progress on magnets or processing, but have a deal with the government that was massive dilution that should help them achieve that $MP - the NVDA of rare earths. No company comes close But check out UURAF, more potential than any of these :)
USAR and MP I would consider some of the top tier miners currently. The USAR government stake news from this week is huge, and MP has previously had the most runup of any of the major players. AREC and NB I have no experience with CRML is horrendous and you should not trust them with any of your money. I have been openly short for a while and although I closed my position recently it still has plenty of room to drop. The CEO is a known fraudster and they keep getting hype off of Greenland talks but the White House has specifically released a press release saying this company will not be recieving any grant money (as of a few months ago). TACO could always reverse course, but I don’t see this one mining company being of large enough stakes/importance for it to ever get the reversal treatment
Same boat here but you just can’t give up dawg.. I’m 25 started trading summer of 24’ and it’s been a rollercoaster. October of this year I hit it off with CRML(bought in at 2$) started with 20k got up to 87k now I’m down to 35k… it’s just the name of the game. You win some you lose some but if you give up now you’re securing a loss. At the end of 24’ I was down same amount and at this point I’m still up 50% after all those losses. Keep going.

Btw I ended up making money on CRML. I’m still an idiot but I got lucky. My covered call was exercised (out of the money as far as I could tell which I still don’t understand). I still would’ve made more if i just held and sold friday. But i wouldn’t have sold. I would have held onto it and be down today. I was curious what the apes or degenerates would have said on wsb. I bought shares, not calls, so letting them ride. Should get another pop once a deal with Greenland is official, and another pop as the infrastructure around mining there starts to come together. If I had options, I’d prob take profits though. I think CRML will go to 30-40, will sell half my shares around 27.

I think I'm a bit less technical and don't understand half of your image there. But looking at CRML, I like to look at the 1Y, 3M, 1M and 1W trend line and take a look at the visual high/lows. From there we can see a short spike up to $29 from a floor of $7 that dropped right back down. The current rally is only at $20 but recent floors at $15 look very safe, $18 less safe. For me I'd be comfortable writing 1-wide put spreads at 18 for a week or 15 for Feb 20, IF the trend is still upwards an hour into the trading day Monday. I realize this is more vibes than actual analysis, which is how I open most of my spreads hehe.
USAR just got a 1.6 B cash injection from 🥭, and CRML is the only American Heavy Rare Earth company in Greenland with valid permits and shovels in the ground. 🥭 is negotiating some sort of military and minerals “Framework” with Greenland, with “national security” framing. It’s a gamble and not for the faint of heart, but could pay off handsomely. I’m already in the green on my position.
Held CRML calls over the weekend, please tell me it’ll pump along with USAR. I sold my USAR calls on Friday 😭
I think you can get a solid 10% on CRML because the convo will soon shift to when Govt will take a stake in another rare earth.

The Tanbreez mine is under 0.0 miles of ice, it's above freezing most of the year there and there's a year round ice-free port, as well as an international airport coming online only 15km from the mine site. If Trump wants Tanbreez then the correct play is to own a portion of it, either through CRML or EULIF (which owns a large portion of CRML).

Well again… this has all been reported but total capex estimated has always been $280m. The parent company $EULIF now has about $220m in cash and if $CRML gets additional funds or just the $120m EXIM loan they likely move forward. Not too far off
Howard Nutlick took a massive stock position in 2024 in CRML and I guarantee it’s the sole reason Trump cares about Greenland . Actually the vast majority of his dumbass policies are tied to his staff profiteering off it. The Argentina bailout was directly tied to US investors losing money

That isn’t true. $CRMLs Tanbreez deposit is located at the southern tip of the island. It doesn’t have any permafrost and quick google search will show you it’s similar to East coast weather. Go ahead and diversify, MP is only good for light rare earth, CRML is a stand out for Heavy rare earth.

The Tanbreez project in southern Greenland (that they own 43% of w the right to own 93% thru shares issuance no debt) is one of the largest non China discoveries of heavy critical minerals deposits (the important magnets n shit). This company is going to be either acquired by a larger miner or the Sec 232 on PCMDPS will result in the getting a strategic investment like INTC and MP did. Also calls are fine because Schwab has 100% margin req on their shares. Don’t fear high IV just add as many deltas up until you have what you want
