UAMY -70%, CRML -77% from the highs only a few weeks ago.
Am not so much down as you but investing around 45K that is now 40K, YTD losses is around 5K as of now hoping it will go back up soon before the March 2026 crash which is historic during every new presidential term..i will safely invest in APLD, SMCI may be some rare earth stocks just split it between MP-USAR-CRML-UUUU for sure these will be worth near long term

I sold that at a few months ago. I saw the rare crunch coming and starting buying stocks like CRML, M<P, REEMF, Lynas and NGM fall of 2024. Held them for months with no movement. Finally figured I my rare earth thesis was wrong and sold all but REEMF and some MP in April this year... about 3 weeks before all the rare earth stocks exploded!
Why individual stocks, BYND, MP, CRML, NVDA, OKLO does not seem to be pumping at all. What is going up today?

I would Watch the unusual options flows everyday. Both CRML/LAC/MP all had super suspect trades 15 mins before close the day those were announced. Then you don’t have to guess. Just make a scan for TMC/NB/NAK or any other rare earth that hasn’t gotten a deal. Filter it to this weeks + next weeks expiry and look for contracts with more than 100. CRMl had 14 sweep printe at the same time stamp for 15k premiums in each, 15 minutes before close on that friday they announced it

Not sure why you think that. Rumours of an export ban (I’m assuming you mean a ban on Chinese Rare Earth Exports to the US) would bring these stocks up. MP (a miner), UUUU (a refiner and a miner), CRML (a miner) and UURAF (refiner) would all benefit from US/ western institutions being barred from consuming Chinese REE. It would also mean the US and the west would have to fast track/ financially prop up these 1st phase companies. This is what I mean by these stocks were priced in for perfection. Trumps tweet on the 10th caused these stocks to go crazy mode (looked like a deal wouldn’t happen) and then his tweet a few days later (saying the Chinese had a ‘bad moment’, and subsequent news on a china trade deal) caused these stocks to tank whilst the SP500 rallied (because China is the second largest economy and we want to be friends with them). My view on the SP500 is that it’s driven by corporate earnings at a high level. The SP500 is not the economy. Corporate earnings are going up, will continue to go up at AI reduces COGS. I think we are at the start of a super cycle but that’s beside the point. I have no idea what’s going on with ZIJIMY, I have never heard of it nor to I bother to look at Chinese companies. China in the long term will be punished for playing unfairly to the system everyone (the west) plays fair at (artificially pegging currency, stealing patents/ intellectual property, labour exploitation etc). LT view rare earths (particularly refiners like UURAF and UUUU) are the play because they are the backbone of the future. These stocks were extremely overbought and priced for perfect hence them falling. I will be buying more at a discount. The west cannot and will not rely on China (who has the upper hand) for much longer. You will be rewarded for riding out this volatility in the ST. Sorry for the rant! Hope it helps

Rank the top decile. search “qualmaggie setup” it’s basically a momentum breakout. Crazy high returns. Today I made 30% on NEGG, DVLT and NUAI and a a bunch on ABVE yesterday. There is an eb and flow to crazy high beta stocks. Look at some of these companies. Bet you have never heard of them. STEX ABVE CRML SPRB ABVX DVLT NUAI AGH VOR ONDS SNLH TRON

So you definitely made some money on your 10/17 5p & 6p, from your cost basis of $24,000 i would assume you probably closed your positions somewhere around the $35,000 - $40,000 range. The problem here are your 11/21 positions. Those had a cost basis of $45,000. Given you held over the weekend, you're facing a current value of $32,000 (based on mid value at close today for each contract). At this point, you are likely just above break-even point from the money you made last week. The real problem is that volume for the stock is likely to dry up, taking volatility with it (see volume today on similar tickers such as LAC, TMQ, CRML, etc.). ABAT had unusually high volume today likely from the understanding that the sell off last week was an overreaction after digesting the news, but I would definitely not expect those levels of volume to remain into the remainder of the week. The value of your puts is currently held up by the implied volatility, which will get absolutely crushed in the coming days, unless we get some dire news, which is rather unlikely. Think about it: we've had **SIX sessions IN A ROW** so far with swings in the DOUBLE DIGIT percentage. As volume and daily swings narrow this week, you will see the value of your contractrs evaporate - your puts will easily halve in value by close tomorrow if ABAT has a +/- 5% day without the huge intra-day swings. All I'm saying is - prepare to see the value of your puts get crushed to $15,000 by tomorrow close. This will happen unless volume stays up at its current levels AND ABAT keeps experiencing 20-40% swings per day. I wish you luck, but also not so much, since I hold shares.

It depends on what you sold... I sold most of my NVDA when it hit 190, and all of my QBTS around the same time not because I expected them to plummet necessarily but i just had a tough time imagining them going much higher, and wanted some more liquidity in my ROTH to buy into some other things that I was hoping had more room to run. And it wasnt a bad move, but, iff course, i fucking WISH that what i'd have chosen to sell instead, was my UAMY, MP, and CRML...didnt expect those to plummet like they did when the market was in a frenzy over a trade war with China.
That’s fair. I’ve looked at the data and it seems like it will eventually be a profitable mine once running. I’m more interested in the US buy-in possibility and I think that’s been overlooked in favor of the rare earth processing companies that have shot up (UAMY UUUU CRML USAR). If I’m wrong and a buy in never happens then I’m relatively comfortable that once it’s a full functioning mine then the supposed 450,000 ounces of gold a year will make it worth having bought in now. My approach on investing is mainly macro + story and this fits for me.
I did that with ONDS @9.94 and CRML @22.28 and UUUU @24.00, just this week.

I actually wanted to do a pair trade, but EULIF was halted because of pending announcements from mgmt. I guess it will stay halted while they announce more dumping of CRML shares. This morning they sold $50M more of CRML.
Why didn't you go long on EULIF? The value of the CRML shares is double their market cap. The company itself is fairly worthless, but I'm looking for a quick flip after their stock buybacks.
You still have many similar plays. The fact is that this is all a giant fad. All the Steve Zissou retards got rich initially and are convinced that there is actual value, pumping all these stocks. It is obvious that the government can not give free money to EVERY company, but these companies tried anyway, because why not. I am short CRML. Its parent EULIF owns 60% of the shares, announced that they are selling and use the proceeds to do buybacks. EULIF mgmt is shareholder friendly, and you can imagine what is going to happen in the market when the float is doubled and dumped on the market. Dig more and you'll find many other similar scams.
When it ran up initially, there was a lot of interesting price movement going on after hours. LAC and CRML too. I'm willing to bet this was primarily an insider/institutional pump and dump, not people like us.

USAR was tough this week, I tried picking up ABAT, CRML, UAMY, and UUUU after they fell and they just kept falling 😂 I think one of these damn companies will probably get a US buy in but I don’t know when and I don’t know if they’ll bleed so much by then that the pop only balances the drop until then. If they get deals tonight / this weekend I missed out on a generational win lol

I'm holding UAMY CRML UUUU for the next couple years personally. I can only speak for myself but I am bullish. These are very small companies with lots of upside, but be prepared for volatility. If it going down 20% in one day makes you lose sleep I'd sell and go gold miners like AEM and NEM. Much more stable but still tons of upside
