Current iv30 (no idea why that screener calls it that, but there are lots of screeners to find this info). You can see that GALT and CRVS are two bio stocks in that list, so the next step would be to research why, and try to find the date that the catalyst is expected.
Lol I wish - this is the stock that taught me about bio stocks and they're propensity for freefall. I had shares that I was selling CCs on. I could buy the shares for $26 and immediately sell 3 WTE ATM calls for $10/share. Felt too good to be true. Turns out it was. After my shares got wiped out I spent some time doing research into the catalyst, and likelihoods etc etc. You can see the same thing happened this month alone to SAVA, PYXS, APLT, MRNS, and countless others. If I touch bio stocks again, it will be to short them. CRVS has just initiated phase 3 trials, which could last a long time - so I'll keep my eyes out next year for an announcement on expected dates for results, and I'll buy puts.

I see KIRK as small retailer similar to BBBY. I am expecting all of this to move to small biotech stocks next. It could be any of them CRVS, HARP, BCTX are a few I expect to explode higher. CRVS actually has dones so once last September 2021 when over a couple weeks it spiked 500% on volume of 200-250 million shares per week. GL

As far as I understand it, I don't see how you can consider ATER or CRVS his fault. How could he have known and foreseen that random news/MNPI or market conditions were going to effect the stocks so dramatically. And even so, that's always a risk in these plays, even in ESSC. The company could announce something random that could effect the stock and I wouldn't blame him for it, because that's just part of the risk of speculating on these kinds of plays. And regarding the other stuff: 1. You don't need to have "formal qualifications" to do something. Obviously that can help, but it's not a hard requirement in doing something. 2. You can read DD and follow along and make your own decisions. If you are just buying into something because you read "Gamma Squeeze Imminent" and don't actually review the publicly available information, you should blame yourself rather than other people if something doesn't turn out the way you expected. 3. These "gamma squeeze" setups, in my opinion, are a small and less important part of the server/group. There is a lot of DD available that can help get people started trading in plays that have a more of a basis in fundamentals, and it certainly helps for getting started on doing your own DD into these companies.

What’s funny about this is that CRVS was our top pick for two days before this point and we purposefully didn’t call out the optimal buy point, instead waiting for confirmation of the move we were predicting which came when CRVS started to break out on dramatically increased volume. Secondly, you seem to have a hilariously flawed understanding of the way pumps work. Options buy volume on OTM strikes (what volumes tell us most people bought) don’t pump stocks instantly. You would probably flip out then to see an account move $100,000.00+ in a single day then. The average stock will move 2% just in weekly fluctuations, a lot move such intraday. Even the indexes can move 2% intraday. The odds of you buying a stock and NOT taking a 2% loss is very small. I recently had a position down 51% from first entry and still did really well. I did make numerous additional purchases; but even if I hadn't I still would have made 100%. The stock was CRVS and I first bought it Feb. You can check our substack if you don't believe me. People who trade for a living with their own money, aren't gamblers. I can't make this point firmly enough. If your are selling at 2% you have no idea what you bought or why you bought it. You might was well be playing darts blindfolded.
