They don't even stay drilling till mid next year at the earliest, DNN stays in the drawer till 28ish. Then I'll start peeking
I didn't invest for the last year or so, I was playing microtransaction games and really only invested in my IRA. But I actually did pick up some RGTI, OKLO, DNN, NVTS
DNN because uranium is on the rise, shortage of uranium supply should hit hardest from 2029-2032. Theyre a low cost mine applying a very environmentally friendly extraction method on a high grade mine. They're using a recovery method that is typically used on low grade so it's never been done before but if it works, it will open up a whole suite of potential high economic return mines.
Ah another man of culture loaded up on DNN I see. I have LEAPS, this thing is going to moon when uranium demand jumps
I've been buying and holding DNN for three years now... I'm up but getting impatient. what do you think their prospects are near/long term?
I was actually looking at Uranium last night but decided against it. Anyway, I had Claude review your DD: I have enough. Here's my read. The macro skeleton is real, but the DD is doing the classic WSB thing: stapling true facts to a conclusion they don't actually support, and slipping in at least one number that's wrong. **What checks out:** * The Iran war and Hormuz disruption are real. As of late May, commercial transit through the strait had collapsed roughly 94% versus the pre-conflict baseline, though it's a "permission-based" / restructured regime rather than a clean closure, and there's a fragile post-April ceasefire. [Windward](https://windward.ai/blog/three-months-into-operation-epic-fury/) * The SPR numbers are basically accurate. A record 9.9 million barrels were shipped out of the SPR in one week, pushing the total to about 374 million barrels, its lowest since July 2024. The "10M/week" and "374M, two-year low" claims are legit. The "3-5 months to legal minimum" extrapolation is naive (drawdown rates aren't constant), but directionally the buffer is thin. [Pipeline and Gas Journal](https://pgjonline.com/news/2026/may/massive-spr-oil-release-drains-us-emergency-crude-stockpile-to-two-year-low) * The hyperscaler nuclear deals (MSFT/TMI, AMZN/Talen, GOOG/Kairos) are real and predate the war. * Structural supply story is real: Kazatomprom guidance issues, Russian enrichment dominance + import ban, decade-plus mine lead times. **What's wrong or oversold:** * **The central premise is the weakest link.** "Hormuz closed β uranium pumps" doesn't survive contact with the actual price action. Spot U3O8 started 2026 just over $80, hit $101.41 on January 29, then sold off to $85.50 by February 5 β and the war in Feb/March pushed it *down*, not up, as investors fled to safe-haven assets, ending Q1 around $83.90. So the exact catalyst the DD is built on (Iran war) historically coincided with uranium *falling*. That's the opposite of the thesis. [Investing News Network](https://investingnews.com/uranium-forecast/) * **"Run from $20 to $100" is misleading framing.** The $20 bottom was \~2016. Spot was range-bound between roughly $63 and $83 for most of 2025 and was "dead flat" on the year. Spot is currently mid-$80s, not consolidating fresh off a $100 breakout. [nasdaq](https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/uranium-price-update-q1-2025-review) * Oil and uranium don't substitute. Oil is \~zero US power generation; it's transport. A Hormuz oil shock doesn't directly bid uranium β the DD hand-waves "when gas-fired generation gets squeezed," but a closed strait doesn't squeeze US natural gas (the US is a net gas exporter). The energy-security narrative for nuclear is real but it's slow-moving utility/policy demand, not a war-driven spot spike. **The actual bull case** (which the DD buries) is the better one: long-term contract prices have been grinding up β from about $80 to $86 β and sit $8-10 above spot, with utilities under-contracted. That's a structural, multi-year re-rating story. It's just not the "Hormuz closed, yellowcake szn, buy calls" trade the post is selling. [nasdaq](https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/uranium-price-update-q1-2025-review) Net: the facts are mostly real, the narrative is a non-sequitur. It reads like someone who is correctly long-term bullish on uranium reverse-engineered an urgent catalyst out of an unrelated oil crisis to justify near-term options. Treat the structural thesis seriously; treat the "nobody is pricing this in" urgency and the implied spot-price spike skeptically. Not financial advice, and I'm not your financial advisor β but if you want, I can pull the current CCJ/DNN/UUUU valuations and contract-book details to pressure-test the equity-specific claims.
Build a hefty 80-90% VT/VOO base and buy stocks with the rest- for me I'm in RKLB, ONDS, and DNN. Use a ROTH IRA if you can as you can rebalsnce within it tax-free.
DNN - exploration and development of Uranium. Has a great balance sheet. Moves super slow but more stable than a lot of the penny stocks mentioned on here. Some analysts have raised their price targets for this stock (not that this matters). This one is a good favorite :)
Been adding to DNN for uranium
no one mentioned DNN yet? The glowy rocks have to get dug out of the ground by someone, and that someone just finished with all the paperwork and permits and financing to start a brand new hole up in Canada.
DNN, uranium mining company in Canada, have a catalyst coming I believe but its probably the play for LEAPS. I have Jan 2028 calls
No one gives a fuck but DNN earnings tmr
CCJ would be the leader IMO w significant leverage. But highest beta, UUUU or DNN. These are the "junior" minors if you will.
Maybe? I mean DNN been flat flat flat.
Loving DNN - anyone playing January 2028 calls?
Nice, I own DNN and the VanEck uranium ETF (NLR) for the energy sector of my port. Been doing pretty solidβwish it was more than just 10% of my weight though. I felt like it was a more high risk high reward stock so I didnβt buy as much as I could have unfortunately. Still getting gains though!
Anyone else in Denison (DNN) didnβt realize I couldnβt talk about it in the stocks sub lol
How do folks feel about DNN?
I have a strong position on Denison Mines (DNN). Happy so far
Ok grandpa. Iβm a 21 year old trading on margin and have my positions highly concentrated in VWO, TSM, UUUU, DNN, USAR. Theyβre going to force AI to work whether it works or not and the only way we can have the power we need is through nuclear (UUUU, DNN) itβs also morally right for the environment to go nuclear! We need to stop targeting 10% and go with the safe obvious 20%+ like it honestly makes me sick when people want to open or recommend HYSA. WOW FUCKING 3%. Itβs not that hard to pick a 40%+ stock it just takes a few bad picks and youβll eventually find your forte
Own 2 of those, currently; and I'm already up 90% on DNN at the moment. Gonna hold. Gonna hold ATAI, too. I think the "shroom" psychiatric market might explode soon. If not? Well, penny stocks are just gambling, anyway. Don't place all your eggs and whatnot.
The problem with DNN is that production won't begin until 2028. If you want to look at a company that's about to start production this year with multiple projects underway, look at ASPI. The catalyst is helium, since the recent attacks in the Middle East reduced global helium production by approximately 30%. Helium is crucial for chip manufacturing.
How's the leverage on those options BTW? I was simulating some gains on UEC and DNN specifically but wasnt so impressed. Anything I can look at?
Adding these to my research list along with DNN
I rode DNN from 1.50 to 4.20. Just got out of
Man, breaking news updates on here. You degenerates turned WSB into DNN.
Not me lol, I blew up my robinhood account by going all in on a bio stock a few years ago. Safest bet right now is nuclear UEC, DNN, ASPI, NLR AND SMR
Swarmer just jumped, along with DNN and some solid state names...
Na, UUUU, UEC, and DNN are way better picks.
look at stock, look at who runs the company, look at asset values, potential for future mainstream adoptability of that technology and if the leaders are capabale enough and have the assets to complete that plan then its likely a winner. That is extremely extremely rare. My last "win" was catching DNN at 0.17 a share back in 2017 I think
I told yβall about DNN. Hereβs another one: EOG
Went with leaps for DNN and NXE, will exercise those if they pop.
fuck it, bought a few more shares of SSRM and DNN on a pullback. both positions up \~+25% lessgo
I grabbed these a couple weeks ago when I read your comment, thanks for the tip. I also grabbed a few shares in my ira account to hold for a while. DNN $4.5 Call exp Jan 15 2027, 2 buys DNN $5.5 Call exp Jan 21 2028, 1 buy
Iβm going to try to get some bargains today. lol! Maybe add to DNN & LAC if they get down enough (I got in early on them so my average is good). What are you looking at?
Canada two weeks away from WMD. Calls on $DNN
which metals? the cold shiny kind or the hot glowy kind? I wish DNN (uranium miner, mistaken for another company) would hurry up and go back to being my best fat finger trade ever
They might suck at hockey, but they got that yellow cake. $DNN to $1k when Canada announces they're building a strategic nuclear defense.
Don't feel bad, sold Vertiv when it was up like 25% cause that was a rule I set when I started on hood last year. It went to 100%. Only stock I bought that i really way up on is DNN. Its been hovering at 100% return lately, almost enough to cover how far down I am on other bags I'm holding. Options are the same, for every $50 I make on options, I lose $50 on options. I bought Puts a few weeks ago right before earnings came out on a stock. I set a limit sell for a nice %50 return cause I was working and couldn't watch the market. They went to a 500% return after my limit was triggered. Bought calls next day and lost everything I gained. Im down about 2% overall for 2027.
Anyone else long on DNN https://denisonmines.com/news/denison-announces-final-investment-decision-for-th-122844/
Anyone else going long Denison Mines (DNN) after they received the approval to construct Phoenix ISR uranium project in Saskatchewan. 2-year construction period and indicates the project remains on track for first production by mid-2028, subject to a final investment decision. The company notes it has advanced pre-construction work so it can move quickly once that decision is made.
I actually just sold a DNN call today. I made 20$ it was my first options trade ever.
Dont forget the plethora of nuclear trade deals Canada just did. Also Dennison has been stockpiling uranium, so they are holding for the next big cycle. If my analysis of the 10 year chart on uranium compared to current, looks like we are coiling. I got into DNN because a stop loss flushed me on LEU prior to its launching. Read up on the company, like the history, think thry are poised fairly well. Got my bets placed last October, just been watching occasionally.
I think this just confirms my placing of it in my list. CCJ is the best of the best and DNN is the best of the rest. You want at least one of the big producers before you delve into the developers, but uranium is such a thin market it's easy to get your bearings pretty fast, especially among the big guys. The next best developer is maybe NexGen with rook 1, final stages of approval are any day now. I like DNN better for the lower upfront capital costs, likely cheaper recovery methods and shorter construction estimates to get into production, but NXE has great scale and is definitely going to happen eventually. NOBL is taking it's time, but the night is young with these exploration companies and the holes look good so far if your context isn't the Athabasca basin. Doing better than DMX lol. Honestly tho, there are a lot of decent development plays in the basin rn I'm not going to pay too much attention to these tiny explorers just yet. Skyharbour is maybe the only exception, but that's also a different kind of exploration model. Like I said in my comment, uranium is probably the least risk subsector if you ask me. We're teetering on triple digit uranium in the spot market, there's all this nuclear build-out but when you add up all the pounds to actually fuel the reactors it's so bad that the big miners are the ones sounding the alarm about supply. Now even juniors are making bankable offtake agreements and moving to the term market. Wild times. I would just dive in and get to know everything you can about this sector if you're already halfway interested, it's a fun one.
Now that Phoenix project got approval a few hours ago, curious, thoughts on DNN? I have my half thesis, but don't know much on the sector.
DNN is a pretty good one. Considering how nuclear is hottest thing right now for energy in the AI boom. Liquidity is high, very low debt. The only βproblemβ is that all the approvals need to go smoothly (which they are) and they will be operational in 2028. So as a long term hold I would give it a look.
DNN immune to bear predation
It's been almost five years in the market and I've had about four lucky position that I've let slip through my fingers. I think the universe was trying desperately to make me a millionaire and I was too retarded to capitalize on it. Literally started trading at the end of 2021 and bought 100k dogecoin for under a cent apiece. Sold out at basically breakeven because of the GME hype and wanted to be in that and by the time I had looked back at doge Elon tweeted about it and it was already from under a cent to 10Β’. Topped at like 77Β’. Held a 70x+bagger but let it slip through the cracks. If I had held my ASTS I'd be up around 50k but I sold that for a small loss. Had a shit ton of JOBY at $4.5 and told at $8 should have held for $20. I had a shit ton of UUUU at 6.50 sold at 8.50 should have held. Had shit tons of DNN at $2 sold at $2.50 should have held. Should probably just cash out my portfolio go on a vacation and never invest again. Everytime I decide to hold for longer because I think of all the companies I didn't hold long enough they end up never recovering πͺ
I did because I wanted higher torque miners - Global Atomic, bannerman, DNN, and NXE

I was going to buy DNN last week amongst other stocks, but since seeing commodities sky rocket I have been super focused around the clock buying and selling CFD's for silver and forgotten about everything else.
