All EVTOL have higher multipliers in 5y JOBY- 7-9x EVEX- 15-20x EVTL- 20-35x HOVR- 50-75x Tourism, emergency /medical, air taxi, personal transportation, shuttle routes...
They will happen but it's impossible to know who will 'win' long term. Maybe several of them. The first to be ready won't necessarily be the long term leader. One important factor though: EVTL will be under CAA and EU regulations. These are significantly more difficult than FAA and essentially need to prove same safety ability as aeroplanes. EVTL will be able to sell everywhere. JOBY and ACHR will be mostly confined to the US/Middle East.
I've long thought that Trump, being the person he is, will want to have these approved under his tenure so he can take credit - even though he had nothing to do with it, of course. Long on JOBY, ACHR and EVTL.
Unfortunately, I can't trade stocks in my app during after hours but I will sell if it pumps after news when market opens though. I actually decided to start a position in AMPG if I get gains from IMRX. I have also ran out of stock ideas to invest in right now that aren't overpriced (both DUOT and SPAI have run up already). Onlyone that could be an option for me right now is more speculative, Vertical Aerospace (EVTL). It is probably only eVTOL stock that is still underpriced, it has UK government backing and it has actually totally realistic possibility of being successful EVTOL company in the future (It is basically in the same ballpark of progress so far as JOBY) but the dilution concern is still an issue and it is UK company which may work against the stock aswell. Also I don't have an option to short stocks in my broker but I rather not anyway, it is psychologically kind of hard to do for me anyway because the market seems so irrational sometimes.
I picked my EVTL company of choice back when they were all the rage in 2021, I chose the most Tesla like one with the ductless fans that has since gone bankrupt l (can't even remember the name tbh). Haven't looked at the sector since, it moves so slowly it's hard to watch
HOVR has no full size prototype. It also has very little money. IMO if you want to be really speculative, go for EVTL. If you want to go for a sure thing, JOBY. If you want to invest in a floundering company that can’t seem to get anything to fly but still has fooled Cathie Wood, ACHR.
Happening. EVTL roadmap is solid. All they need is produce enough units of valo and only those will replace Helicopters in many routes. Safer and quieter. It is not something for rich only. Average cost 2.5M per unit, much less than a plane. By making only 10 flights per day of 15-20 min each one, at 150$ ticket, it has a massive RoI. But yes slightly earlier now as till end 2027 they won't show good results. Meanwhile other evtls stocks (archer) is a scam cash burner. Joby has good business as well even though I would say kinda more riskier as they manufacture everything piece of the aircraft

Recent EVTL investor here. They are definitively a smaller player than Joby due to their much more limited access to capital and resources. Last November they said they expected successful transition flight to be weeks away, but didn't end up achieving it until this April, and in the meantime their cash runway at the time was only enough to last them until mid-2026. They've since gotten financing to see them through production, but the risk is it could be heavily dilutive if they can't ensure better financing through either strategic partnerships, sales, or just significant market investment. That said, all of those risks compounded into their market cap going this low, and now given the recent achievements I'm bullish that they are significantly undervalued relative to the eVTOL sector.
For sure. Joby's the top dog, there is no comparison imo, that's why I put my chips on them. EVTL is just one of the few players who has a working product atm, which is why they got my attention. For all the hype around the EVTOL space, the majority of them don't even have a working EVTOL.
I looked up EVTL, and they have a $350M market cap only, so I suspect they are a much smaller player than Joby.
This is a HIGHLY HIGHLY speculative space with a ton of volatility, but Joby came out as the safest play for my money. They bought Blade, a helicopter company, so they already have vert ports lined up, they're already flying their final product around SF and NY, and the eVTOL Integration Pilot Program starts this summer and they're the only participant with a working product flying over major cities already. They already opened a vertport in Dubai and are opening more, they have a partnership with Uber...they're miles ahead of everyone right now. EVTL isn't mentioned here, but it came in 2nd for me. It's trailing Joby, but it's ahead of everyone mentioned. It's the UK Joby essentially. I put my money on Joby though only bc it's a participant of the eVTOL Integration Pilot Program and EVTL isn't, so they're getting a fast track that EVTL won't have access to in the largest consumer market in the world. Archer seems like a meme to me. Beta seems legit and they have working electric planes, but they seem behind on an actual EVTOL.

Not investing in #1 stock, that's kinda risky as all eggs in same place. But yes investing in 4-6 good stocks, one of each best businesses which have and expected to keep increasing revenue, maybe up to 3 in tech and one low market cap to try luck in hitting biggest upside, each month you can add only to one you think most undervalued of the list. You never sell until you see serious issue or an impressive runup and want to secure profits. Good safe stocks rn where: GOOG, ARM in tech, ROCHE, NVO health, GS and Bank of Greece in banking, EVTL speculative
And add EVTL to that list. I get that it's cool technology but it is incredibly niche. The cheerleaders point to the potential for autonomous operation without the need for a pilot but are massively underestimating the complexity of the problem. Without a CAA/FAA approved civilian market sense-and-avoid radar system that isn't going to happen. Somewhere there will be a calculation that identifies the payload-range operational window that demonstrates where the relative advantages of conventional aircraft, vs. rotorcraft, vs. transitional multimode lie. My gut feel is that transitional eVTOL has only a very narrow window of advantage vs. less complex options.

Well don’t beat yourself up about it as we’ve all been there. And as you say, profit is profit! I am not looking at anything new currently but my current DB selection is ENSI/ENSIF, EVTL, IES/IESVF, LUNR, MDAI, SESG and RDDT. Those are my more adventurous investments and I spread risk with some index trackers and income stocks amongst other things.

Difference between EVTL & Joby and Archer is safety regulations. Europe has MUCH higher standards than the U.S. so Joby & Archer won’t be able to sell overseas whereas EVTL will be able to sell everywhere bc their focus has been on safety and certification before production.

Dude, this is NOTHING!! I’ve lost $50k+ in my retirement account, but I’m well diversified and with no debt, both my new cars and home paid off. I have friends who have lost double or even triple right now. Buy up EVTL like crazy while it’s at a discount, it’s going to quadruple in a year at LEAST, and in 5-10 years could be a 500x stock.
I’ve lost $50k in my main retirement account, and I’m not alone, all Americans are going through this right now. Luckily I’ve diversified and a year ago I had started investing in Fundrise’s Innovation Fund, I had put $50k in there, 5% of my portfolio. It was a risk, but since it went public on Thursday, it’s now at $401,000.. Now granted I can’t touch it for 6 months, but I don’t plan too bc it has companies like OpenAI, SpaceX, Ramp, Anthropic, DataBricks, and 6 more high valued privately held companies all under the mutual fund name VCX, Innovation Fund. Come September, I will simply transfer that to my Fisher Investment portfolio, but make sure they leave it alone. It’s around $115 per share right now but this has the chance to reach $1,000+ per share in 10+ years. My only regret is that I wished I had bought more. But I also had told 100+ friends about Fundrise and literally only 1 person jumped in, they got around $75k of the IF and now they have $650k!! If you’re in the stock market it’s important to have a professional do it for you, and if you want to have fun allot some of your own money to research and follow your gut. It’s paid off for me, but I’m smart enough to know there are professionals who do it better. Fisher is one of them.. But get in on VCX and EVTL with the discount right now. Both of these companies are gonna be 1,000x companies in 5-10 years!!
I know!! I was blown away about how quickly the pre-IPO shares sold!! As soon as I got the email I tried to buy the max of $10k and it was all sold out!! THAT is when I knew what the potential of VCX could be! This is also going down during close to a year worst time for the stock market, just think what VCX will be when this Iran shit is over?!? I’m the same way, I’ve made my money through patience and not gambling, but I somehow do have good instincts, some may call it luck, lol, but I do my research. I bought 20,000 shares of SoundHound when it was $1 and sold it all at $25 a share, which ended up being $1 less than it ever reached. That was a great “timing” move on my part for sure. After that I started playing it safe and recently moved all Of my investments over to Fisher Investments because I really don’t know what I’m doing and have gotten lucky averaging 20%+ returns in 4 years but I know that’s not sustainable. But I still have my own SoFi investment account and the following stock is the one that I’m buying up like crazy every time it dips… it’s going to be the next NVIDIA, I sound like “Motley Fool” 😝 The one stock I have that I believe in more than either other is EVTL!! I have 28,000 shares of EVTL at $3.50 a share and it’s sitting flat but I know it will explode once Drone travel becomes heavily adopted. Dubai is already setting up a massive infrastructure and it’s going to be the future of short distance travel. And out of the “Big 3”, Joby and Archer being the other 2, it’s in England and isn’t being rushed like those two, it’s been focusing on safety and certification first and it will be absolutely MASSIVE by 2030. If there’s a stock you’re looking to buy with an incredible upside and little to no downside it’s EVTL. It could be a $100+ stock by 2030, if not sooner.
EVTL. They aren’t necessarily undervalued (no profit yet, no debt but clear need for dilution), but I’ve bought in at their support around 4$ and sold for 50+% gains multiple times now. I would like to see them succeed and plan to hold longer if they do, but my investment is made up entirely of my gains from their swings now so the initial sweat that came from first going in is gone for me.

EVTL of the flying taxi companies is the weakest, imo from tech to balance sheet. JOBY is furthered ahead and has best balance sheet to reach commercialization.

I think APLD will do really well. I am also going to get a solid position in EVTL, I like vertical takeoff and landing and the stock is low.
EVTL, JOBY, and EH as well. I own some of these and ARCH. I don’t know who will win the battle, but I think owning some of all of them is a good plan for me.
Short term traders would be my guess, selling on the news. I am reasonably confident it will only be short term as momentum builds again. When you look at EVTL’s valuation compared to competitors such as Joby, Beta and Archer they are at a substantial discount right now. Yes, there are risks in terms of needing to complete testing (final stage prototype testing news is imminent) and raise capital to complete certification, however if one is prepared to accept the risk of capital lost, then with the relative discount they present the best potential returns of the listed competitors in the coming years in my opinion.

I have double down with promising small cap Vertical Aerospace (EVTL) and EnSilica (ENSI). Yes the markets have punished growth stocks of late however in my opinion both of those stocks have over 10x potential before 2030.
