whats you thesis on HOVR?

Starting a position in HOVR at market open. I like the management team, and it has a solid financial position despite being pre-revenue. I also prefer its B2B/B2G-focused applications over JOBY / ACHR, which are B2C infrastructure companies. Its biggest hurdle will be completing successful prototypes this year followed by certifications. This one is my dark horse for 2026.

r/stocksSee Comment

I’m betting big on PL (avg. cost basis in the $6’s). I’m also starting a position in HOVR in the morning. Credibility: My avg. cost basis in ASTS is in the $17’s, and my avg. cost basis in RCAT (I sold my entire position last week) was in the $2’s.

https://preview.redd.it/q278ewh9stcg1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e4a5290cc2191eb3ee637c0b6ef2b9373cb66cca Strongly recommend $HOVR. It’s an (aerospace) and defense engineering firm that designs and develops hybrid electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. A HOVR aircraft was used by US special forces in last week’s seizure mission of an oil tanker that was on route to Russia. Post-mission, The Telegraph reported, “US Navy Seals were flown onto the tanker by the elite ‘Night Stalkers’ aviation unit”. It goes without saying that firms with ‘success stories’ in high impact/international events (military/warfare/defence) consistently enjoy a wide variety of immediate financial rewards and longer-term incentives, including: additional government contracts, R&D subsidies and opportunities for international business with other countries with military alliances. Context * Trump’s plan to increase military spending by 500bn this year * Current geopolitical tensions and conflict, reasonable to expect even further escalations * HOVR objectively develops a superior good in comparison to it’s competition Earnings Call 14th January @ 8:30 EST * KPIs are all going to be 🚀 I see this hitting double digits by beginning of Q2 Not financial advice, always do your own DD. Happy, safe investing everyone- hope your portfolios all GROW

With the world's growing need for drones and the stock market's rise in theses companies, finding affordable stock has been hard. I've been watching one HOVR currently 1.85 and steadily rising. The other is BRQL currently at .76 up over 80% in the last month. Has anyone else seen these?

Wish I’d have known about it earlier. Eyeing $HOVR pretty hard now - their design could transform EVTOL entirely - but the category is famous for cash burn and I’m worried about deeper US pockets building around patents.

What do you think of HOVR? It feels like one of these days it will pop. It has that kind of meme potential at least.

I was 1 of the original ASTspacemob members… during NPA days…I played many spacs … IPOA draftkings ttcf VTIQ which became nkla (yes I rode that girl all the way in the 80s) rklb oklo in single digits etc but I never felt as compelled as I did with Asts.. now I moved on cause mc is at a point where executional profits are needed but I did take proceeds to what I believe will grow just like companies like ASTS did.. that company is HOVR.

HOVR more promising in eVTOL space

$HOVR can since imis a low mcap and a better tech easier to patent, not $ACHR. ACHR is already at nearly 6B mcap, 600B is totally unrealistic, like 6 times Boeing, cmon. Fools in the name, fools in the facts.

Mentions:#HOVR#ACHR

$ACHR, $JOBY, and $HOVR - you should own all three, like me! ;)

As someone coming from the aviation community, I agree completely. However, I do see the benefits of air ambulances and the like. I don't think Archer will ever be a true "air taxi", but I do think that there's some use in smaller, niche industries for things like this. I'm not incested in Archer, but I am invested in New Horizon (HOVR). Their market cap is a fraction of ACHR and, in my opinion, they seem to be doing better with less

Mentions:#ATCH#HOVR

Obviously your statement is silly as Joby enters FAA TIA testing while HOVR has yet to produce a full sized prototype. HOVR is interesting and it would be great if they are successful. 99% of eVTOL companies fail because while things look great with a subcale prototype, things fall apart when it comes to the full size prototype transitioning safely enough to do with a pilot on board. Only Joby and Beta have done it successfully with a pilot, Archer and Vertical we are still waiting. HOVR is years away from this event, if they can do it. The stock is cheap because the risk is so much higher at their stage and for how much money they'll need to continue to raise to get to where Joby is; likely billions more with significant dilution along the way. You factor all of that in and HOVR is priced correctly for the risk.

Plus , unlike helicopters, they have wings & rotors, so if propellers fail, they can still glide. Way too many helicopter crashes. HOVR is my favorite of the space, excellent plan, excellent team. You wanna get in before they explode, not after

HOVR, my biggest moonshot position and i keep buying. Crystal clear CEO, really good team, 18 months runway, ridiculously low market cap, big milestones exposed for 2026, catalysts spoilered in the latest video. Can't believe is still so low.

I bought some long-dated warrants on HOVR. Not expensive at all, so not risky in that sense, but a high potential payoff with a very low chance of success, which is the opposite of how I normally invest.

Throw all your money into RDDT. I don’t care. I wouldn’t invest in this not based on emotion but based on the product itself. If you’re extreme left you love it here and so you think everyone will eventually see things the way you do. Reality is different. I invested in RKLB between $4- $5 I am in HOVR now. Reddit will fade out like all social media does. It produces nothing. People and bots do the work here and when something new comes along in the next few years the mob will dwindle. They build nothing.

I went down the rabbit hole reading your posts, comments etc and thank you for all of your hard DD work. Followed you. INTC - I held that for SO long under $20, finally gave up and sold it like around $22ish......I saw the potential for sure but they kept beating it up so bad I lost confidence/conviction. I WISH I had seen your DD post on it before today. kicking myself but I will be paying attention to your posts going forward. I also had NUAI (previously NEHC) and had it under .50 - sold it for awesome profit but now wondering if that was a mistake not to hold onto some of it. Do you have any prior DD on this one? Curious what your thoughts are on it. Another one is HOVR that I have been holding since about 1.30 - sorry to blast you with so many - but I love coming across what I call the next Oracle . My guy holds that still to this day from 20 years ago!! Anyway, thank you again for your intelligent posts and humble personality.

HOVR is still in a capital-intensive development phase, so negative EPS isn't surprising. What’s more relevant in this stage is: * ✅ continued engineering progress * ✅ certification milestones * ✅ institutional accumulation (huge signal — Renaissance doesn’t chase hype) * ✅ industry comps in eVTOL still trading at much higher valuations The price target upgrade and increase in institutional holders are meaningful — early institutional adoption matters *before* major catalysts, not after. Short-term volatility is normal, especially in pre-revenue aerospace. I'm looking at execution, government partnerships, and flight milestones. If those stay on track, the long-term risk-reward here is still asymmetric in my opinion. Not financial advice — just my thesis. I’m holding and adding strategically on dips. ✈️📈

JOBY and ACHR have a giant drone that can’t even really fly, just hover from place to place. HOVR IS 5 times faster.

r/pennystocksSee Comment

I've been watching HOVR for a few months now and honestly I'm torn on this one. Yeah the institutional buying is interesting but I've seen price targets get hiked before and then reality hits hard 📉 The aircraft space is so capital intensive though. I'm curious what thier actual runway looks like cash-wise? Renaissance getting in is definitely a good sign but they throw money at everything lol Anyone know when thier next major catalyst is? I might grab a small position if it dips below $2 but that price target feels pretty aggressive to me 🤷‍♂️

HOVR is looking good at 1/160th the market cap of JOBY, anybody else paying attention to it at all? I look at it as a similar situation how RKLB is like a baby SpaceX where it used to be 1/100th of its market cap (even less in some cases) Am i off my rocker? Anyone else have thoughts?

r/smallstreetbetsSee Comment

Right now I'd invest in Drones, eVOTL and Aerospace/Defense tech while the price is low. DPRO, ZENA, NXXT, EVEX, HOVR, ONDS etc... Usually I have a few hundred bucks that I like to scalp with every day, just to play around but right now it's so bleak and stagnant that I'm sitting back and holding.

I have shares and leaps in AMD, ASTS, KTOS, RKLB, AVGO and SOFI. Warrants on HOVR. Have a few spreads as well as the risk reward ratio was quite good on the strikes when I bought. Just need to wait out the long time frame to capture my gain. My leaps are doing very well. Just sit back during the downturns. I just can’t stomach all leaps just yet.
