I remember reading a while back that Immersion Corporation (IMMR) planned to work with another company to develop a sex suit, during the whole Meta VR hype. I think even Pornhub showed interest, but I can’t find the article anymore. For context, IMMR is the company behind much of the vibration and touch-feedback technology used in phones, cars, and gaming consoles.
The administration pivoting to robotics is probably a tailwind for IMMR and their haptic technology patent portfolio.
Beautiful hammer candle forming on IMMR...
I will suggest some more undervalued companies for those, MBIN IMMR GPN FLR
IMMR crew rise up!!!
Anyone in IMMR? Was holding a small position for 4 months while it did nothing but it's gone crazy this week.
I am feelin $IMMR baby this shit gonna splode soon
# **TLDR** --- **Ticker:** IMMR **Direction:** Up **Prognosis:** Long IMMR, undervalued due to low P/E ratio (5x) despite strong growth potential in automotive, VR/AR, and healthcare sectors. **Vibes:** Feeling the buzz. This haptic tech is about to blow up. **Disclaimer:** This is not financial advice. Don't put your life savings in because of a Reddit post.
Next week earnings for CRM, OKTA, AGX and IMMR the week after, any thoughts? OKTA has been finally mildly recovering from the mega drop last earnings...if that shit drops again I'm out. AGX been rocketing but strong earnings will send stock to $200, I wanna believe. Tech has been punished lately, CRM has been on a nice ride up but any sign of weakness I think is gonna send it tumbling.... considering just selling before earnings but long term it should be ok.
What’s anyone’s thoughts on IMMR? Future of VR gaming and haptic space. 4.5 P/E!? Pump waiting to happen.
$IMMR bought $BNED as an investment. Thats what Eric Singer did before going to Immersion. They hols investment in a company called Toro18. $BNED would have to prove itself before Meta gets involved. Immersion got them on the cheap because they ware going bankrupt.
LOL, Hello neighbor. I know $IMMR is solid but every conpany has a price. Most of the directors have M&A in their bio. Also about a month ago there was a lot of insider buying - 70,000 shares. Most - about 50k was Eric Singer CEO.
Immersion has $41 million allocated to stock buyback. They have agreements with Sony, Nintendo and Auto OEM. They have all sorts of patents in haptic technology and I am sure more to come. $BNED is likely an investment opportunity. I don’t think $IMMR is for sale but they seem like a solid company.
BNED/IMMR is my vote!!!!!
GME puts, HPE calls, IMMR calls for next week lets do this shit.
In my opinion, Right now it might only be non-bag holding if you bought before May 14th, otherwise this stock will hurt in June if you bought after. Like me. But, the level dropped this far makes feel okay, I'm at a 50% loss from my Wednesday at this casino. However, "Upon closing of the Transactions, which is currently expected to occur in June 2024: -- BNED will receive gross proceeds of $95 million of new equity capital through a fully backstopped $45 million Rights Offering and a $50 million new equity investment (the "Private Investment") led by Immersion Corporation (NASDAQ: IMMR) ("Immersion"); the Transactions are expected to infuse approximately $75 million of net cash proceeds after transaction costs; -- The Company's existing second lien lenders will convert approximately $34 million of outstanding principal and any accrued and unpaid interest into BNED Common Stock; and -- The Company has received commitments to refinance its existing asset backed loan facility, pursuant to an agreement with its first lien holders, providing the Company with access to a $325 million facility (the "ABL Facility") maturing in 2028. The refinanced ABL Facility will meaningfully enhance BNED's financial flexibility and reduce its annual interest expense. Through the Rights Offering, BNED will issue 900,000,000 shares of its common stock, par value $0.01 per share (the "Common Stock") at a cash subscription price (the "Subscription Price") of $0.05 per share. In the Rights Offering, BNED will distribute to each holder of record of its Common Stock on May 14, 2024 (the "Record Date") one non-transferable subscription right (each, a "Subscription Right") for every share of Common Stock owned by such holder on the Record Date, and each Subscription Right will entitle the holder to purchase 17 shares of Common Stock. Each holder that fully exercises their Subscription Rights will be entitled to Over-Subscription Rights to subscribe for additional shares of Common Stock that remain unsubscribed as a result of any unexercised Subscription Rights, which allows such holder to subscribe for additional shares of Common Stock up to the number of shares purchased under such holder's basic Subscription Right at $0.05 per share." What's even a bit more sus to me is "If any Subscription Rights remain unexercised upon the expiration of the Rights Offering after accounting for all Over-Subscription Rights exercised, the standby purchasers led by Immersion, Outerbridge Capital Management, LLC and Selz Family 2011 Trust will collectively purchase, at the Subscription Price, up to $45 million in shares of Common Stock not subscribed for by the Company's stockholders." Free money for the wrong side? Even though it is still subject to a vote on 6/5. My move is I am going to try to turn 50% to a less ball crushing loss, but still take the loss.

If someone could please pump GPOR IMMR and OCUP for me that'd be great thanks.
The stock market isn't rational, but that is for lots of reasons including the rise of retail shorting. But saying anything is overvalued doesn't recognize that capitalism is whatever the market will bear. There are lots of cheap tech stocks (PLAB, NXPI, MCHP, SWKS, SGH, STM, IDCC, IMMR...) but that doesn't mean they are a good buy. I buy stocks to make me money. There are substantial gain to be made every day, but the stock market isn't the lottery. Most of the money made in it will be via putting in the time and getting a compounding return.
Screw Apple. Get IMMR calls. Haptics are the growth stocks.

Omg... Imagine this shit hits $12 and stays there for twenty years? Or worse, it becomes like IMMR or NOK and just languishes.
I tend to stick with what I know. Current holds/accumulation targets on my list are: $WRAP - Wrap Technologies, maker of the BolaWrap which is another non-lethal tool for Law Enforcement to use. $CLNE Clean Energy Fuels, RMG/Nat Gas distribution. I've held them for years and I believe they've come up on here before. $IMMR Immersion Technologies - Haptic technology, licensed to a number of big companies. For some reason I see this becoming a "Ready Player One"-tech type play. Other than those I love the $LIT, $FAN, $TAN, and $DRIV ETFs among other items. For you penny stock lovers, $KGKG - Kona Gold Beverage. I actually love their flagship Energy Drink but they're reformulating and currently out of stock of my favorite (and most) flavors. They're currently leaning on a lemonade line "Ooh La Lemin" which is being rolled out at Walmart. Have other holdings but those are my favorites right now.
lets fly boys. Can some of yall buy some IMMR. I need help
I know you didnt intend it but, $IMMR looks good too.
I hold this gem too. I just see haptics as a growing market that will not become irrelevant anytime soon, and IMMR is a pure play. I know there’s plenty I don’t understand, but it’s nice to have the exposure.
$IMMR They work in the virtual reality, augmented reality, and touch based sensors for immersive experiences in cyber space. If VR/AR and the metaverse become the future, they could be instrumental in producing more realistic, immersive experience. Only 165M market cap plus it has solid fundamentals.
IMMR and HUYA are extremely tempting.... Cash/Debt and shareholder's equity on balance sheet makes them look like a boomer utility stock but they are tech.
I agree with you. I also think we might really fuck up the world... but let me not be so pessimistic! I've been following IMMR for five years now... I can't believe they haven't been able to convince us that haptics are the way to go. Especially when they're in e everything! They've been around for 20 years and are pretty much junk... Who else has that many patents?
If they can package something for minute feedback in something the size of a ring, they might compliment early versions of next-gen VR and AR. For gaming of course, this is nothing new to have controllers give feedback, but I think they'd find sales in something new like a haptic ring. I'll admit, I may be overly excited and optimistic about next gen VR... but I think not. I think we're going to see new forms of viewing live sports, being able to have the quarterback or referee's point of view. I think we're going to see new types of movies, where you're within the scene and it's going to be spectacular. We'll see people have board meetings on top of Mt. Everest or in the Bahamas, teleporting wherever we choose with amazing fidelity. And, of course gaming. Who will play console games when you can be in the game. Sure Oculus Quest is nice, but double that resolution, add more processing power, amazing processing power, cooling, and eliminate lag, and now you have something where people will use it for hours at a time. So, that takes us back to IMMR. People will demand a new type of controller. Their wheels and pedals are a no brainer, so they'll see a bump in sales of those of course, but if they really want to take off, people need to be able to feel themselves interacting with objects in the game, picking things up, the weight of it, the resistance, etc. If IMMR doesn't do it, someone will, and quickly. This next gen VR isn't like past iterations, this is a HUGE step up and adoption will be swift.
How is IMMR (Immersion Corp) not on the list? It’s a top 10 holding of the META ETF.
anyone here invested in IMMR as a long term hold? been beat to the ground but some say it has lots of potential with metaverse implementation. they have lots of patents for their technology.. even won a lawsuit against apple
The gift of Immersion is real. IMMR love this stock

It’s not a nobody ticker but I’ll push IMMR to all the degens in here 😈
200mn - 1bn at the top end. Let’s say they are small caps for the sake of argument. Are either a good stock? I know nothing about either company. I just glanced at charts and quotes and knew neither were for me. Here’s a better example of a small cap that could mesh really well with Metaverse concepts, is profitable and HIGHLY risky (like all small caps imo). IMMR Sitting at an 8pe, meh guidance, huge upside, huge downside. Wouldn’t touch it personally, but if you want to gamble, here you go.
Recently grabbed some 2023 leaps on IMMR, or immersion, as they had a massive dip after a minor expected earnings miss. The company has a really low P/E ratio currently… wondering if anyone has any interesting insights on the company, potential upsides or downsides, as they continue to fall in price.
CHGG, Z, IMMR, REGI, LMND, ID, WOOF, ASYS, DDD all seem interesting
IMMR. Trading for only about $2 above their cash on hand. Super cheap valuation. They have a deal w/ Nike and are a metaverse play. I don't know how much lower it can go with it trading near cash.
I am a bot from /r/wallstreetbets. You submitted one or more banned tickers: IMMR. Message /u/zjz if they're above 1.5 billion-ish market cap and not related to crypto/pennies/OTC.
surprised no one is talking abt the metaverse hidden gem IMMR. good for me i am loading up oncheap shares and leapz
VR category should have $IMMR for haptics
Added MTTR and IMMR as metaverse plays
While waiting for the PROG squeeze, I'm looking for a smaller side play for amusement. I bought 1500 shares of $IMMR at $8.05. It already ran up yesterday but seems to be undervalued as a leader in haptic tech (PS5 controllers) and AR with over $100 million in cash (over $3.50 a share in net cash)
Putting my Roth on IMMR for the next 10 years
$SESN $SCKT $CARV $IMMR on watch
I am a bot. You submitted a picture of a banned ticker, IMMR. This check will fire if you included unnecessary pictures that have bad phrases or a bad crop with news about cryptocoins, for example. Repost with the useless pictures omitted if you did that. Yell at /u/zjz if it's above 1.25 billion-ish market cap and not related to crypto/pennies/OTC/SPACs.
Facebook going full metaverse to counter apples VR/AR plans = IMMR and VUZI.
Isns DXC NSSC IMMR NCR I’m dead scared to say anything about these stocks since I haven’t bought in yet. ...
On The Wires Briefing.com - 8:35 AM ET, 05/11/2021 Iteris (ITI) announced that it has been awarded a three-year contract by the City of San Antonio with a potential value of up to $1.1 million, representing continued demand for Iteris' specialized consulting services in a key geographic market.Cubic Corporation (CUB) announced its Cubic Transportation Systems business division and the Rogue Valley Transportation District (RVTD) are launching Umo Pass, enabling RVTD riders to seamlessly pay for trips through a single fare payment system on the 30 buses of RVTD's transit systems. The contract is a renewal of the current transit fare payment, TouchPass, which transitioned to Umo Pass in April 2021.Immersion Corporation (IMMR) announced that it has signed a renewal agreement with Panasonic Mobile Communications Co for a license to use TouchSense software and haptic technologies in its handheld devices.
IMMR or am I smart for buying IMMR?
IMMR is such a frustrating stock, just not fashionable atm.
Man, would be great to hear some kind of update like that to give this fuel. It could even be that we see earnings serve as the catalyst next month. I'm a little wary of earnings because every stock I held through earnings last quarter just got hammered, even on good news (IMMR, TGT, and CVS). I was especially bitter about TGT given that it reached new all-time highs like a couple of weeks after my calls expired. Lol. So it might even be that we see another massive selloff/short push after earnings take this back down to the $7 support and then see this rise. Hence why I might move my May call back to June or July.
Immersion corporation $IMMR has patented haptic technology that will likely be used in VR, companies like facebook will have to pay to use this technology. Deadnsyde has a few videos about them on his channel.
I bought some shares of IMMR a few months ago. They make the haptic devices for the PS5 controller. While doing research on the company, I found that they are also doing some stuff to apply this tech to the topic at hand. I ended up selling, but I know their stock surged and then pulled back. So their price is pretty cheap right now.
I did the same thing in IMMR I bought options for earnings, and held them for 2 days AFTER earnings and it didn’t take off... as soon as I closed the position for $400 loss, well within hours the stock shot up lol and in 2 days the premiums were the same that I paid for 😂
>IMMR It litterly peaked at 60 march 31 2000. it has been trading sideways for 20 years. What makes you like it?
IMMR looks too good right here. Also check out a longer term chart of TEVA.
Liking IMMR, huge growth potential, nice entry level. Will be a long hold for me
Seriously. It’s such an impressive stock and blew my mind. Literally fucking working with pornhub for full body suits for a full IR/VR system. On top of that they’ve won lawsuits against Apple, Sony, and a couple other company’s for their use of their patented Haptic Touch. Those said companies are now WORKING with IMMR post suit because their tech is so fucking good and as their name says, immersive. If you have a ps5 and enjoy the controller thank IMMR. If you have an iPhone and appreciate its touch sensitivity. Thank IMMR. Tesla touchscreens? IMMR. This stock is a STEAL at what it’s at right now and with the tech and gaming IR/VR progressing as it is I don’t see how any other competitor can compare.
If I had to give one piece of advice to my son it would be to never trust a man who walks up to you at the park and says that they are your father and wants to give you some advice. $IMMR $RKT $GME
IMMR - massive selling from insiders. Not sure I’m bullish on that one
Bullish on APPL SNE THCX IMMR take a look can’t disappoint
Not trying to pump, but anyone else playing IMMR? That 12:50 PM shot in volume got me to dump way too much into 4/19 calls. Oh well, we will see how it plays out.
Got some cheap plays for y'all: $IMMR 12.5c 8/20 $UWMC 7.5c 12/17
i've been in since $1.10 and did not sell it the entire time during the dip i have pretty high conviction for this as a AR play for future so i was diamond handing these shares hard. i classified this along with VUZI, IMMR, MVIS and HIMX
Fly, PLTR! Fly, IMMR! Fly, CRSR! Fly, you fools!
$IMMR finally climbing. It's an awesome company that deserves more attention.
My plays right now are F, AGTC, VET, and IMMR while the market is dipping/correcting
Costco earnings tomorrow are supposed to be pretty great. $IMMR did better than I expected today.
IMMR earnings report beat EPS by $.15 and beats revenue
$IMMR just needs volume to take off. The licensing agreement is already in place because they provided the haptic feedback tech in the base controller. This, along with a potential Microsoft deal in the works should be huge catalysts. >Sony’s patent application for the PS5 VR controller suggests that the finger tracking features along with the haptic feedback will allow players to feel the size and texture of a virtual object when they hold it in their hands. In addition, each finger button will deliver different levels of feedback and pressure adding more immersion to the experience.
[https://www.glitched.online/sony-ps5-vr-controller-possibly-revealed/](https://www.glitched.online/sony-ps5-vr-controller-possibly-revealed/) Looks like it's going to rely heavily on haptic feedback technology. Great news for IMMR if true

$IMMR going to have a good earnings report today. It's a tech stock, but haptic tech is big for VR which is growing.
It’s very simple. IMMR is going to show an increase in earnings from their royalty deal with Sony from every PS5 controller. The stock is going to go up after the earnings. This is a small cap company with huge growth potential, how the fuck would it go down after earnings?
IMMR don’t wait until it’s to late
Gonna look into IMMR earnings play possibilities. ASTE looks like a good entry around 65 for infrastructure stimmy play
Anyone in on $IMMR. I know tech stocks aren't looking too hot right now, but this one is really undervalued.
