Remember when INDO went from $3 to $40 a few years back? This could be what RBNE may have in store for us. It will all be about oil tankers in the coming months, especially since the oil from venezuela will need to be moved, and iran is on the horizon for the next distraction. Post split this thing could move north very quickly. It is the only oil tanker play in the pennies where the set up is there

This stock is a joke. I should’ve never fell for the hype at the beginning of the war. Should’ve just put more into INDO.

5 minute analysis: INDO is a *ridiculous* buy within the fossil energy sector. Even after its share price decline its trading at 21 times revenue (I count 20 trading *below* 1 P/S). It just bleeds $3 million a year in operating cash flows, every year, and relies on dilutive secondary offerings to keep on the development treadmill. Too small to attract buyout interest on the oil side, and the prospects on its Java block are all gas. In my experience there's a minimum size at which oil & gas companies have enough scale such that G&A costs don't consume most operating cash flow. Around $300 million annual revenue. In INDOs case, operating revenue is $3 million and G&A costs $5 million. If you just want leverage to the oil price moves, look for E&Ps that offer leverage to near term production. Eg, half the trading interest in BTE (TTM P/S: 0.62, EV/EBIT: 5.4) is small-time speculators that haven't set up commodity trading accounts. It trades 20 times the daily dollar volume of other E&Ps of its scale.

The thought is that China is a big importer of Iranian oil. If Iran shuts down the strait, China needs to get their oil elsewhere aka Indonesia/INDO among other sources. The news just seems to be ho-hum about Iran’s response to US strikes; Iran gave advance notification to the US to get people out before attempting the strike, which seems like a de-escalation tactic more so than striking with no notice.
My understanding was the opposite— if the strait is closed, INDO goes up since the price of oil would likely go up. Seems like ME tensions are easing up so INDO goes down.
Wondering if INDO is gonna keep dumping or not.. Trying to look for an entry. If (when) the Strait of Hormuz closes, that'd spell disaster for it, no?

Can people who are familiar with the following stocks (and any other oil/gas stocks) give a brief DD? I’ve looked into a couple of these in moderate depth but am trying to figure out reasons to invest in one (or several) versus others tomorrow. In particular, these stocks have different size floats, short interests / days to cover, and exposure to middle east drama: HUSA, INDO, EONR, GURE, NINE, USEG, CGBS, RBNE, any others? I’ll start off by saying that HUSA and RBNE had a registered direct offering on Friday (and HUSA had a reverse split earlier in June). I don’t know how that bodes for this week - hopefully someone can fill in some details/interpret. According to dilutiontracker.com HUSA is currently listed as at high risk for dilution. I DON’T KNOW IF THIS HAS BEEN UPDATED SINCE THEIR “RDO” DILUTION ON FRIDAY. INDO and NINE are listed as at low risk for dilution.
