Polymarket needs a will Musk hit $1 Trillion by end of 2026. I already won a bet he would hit $400 Billion \- pretty sure as soon as SpaceX IPOS, he'll hit $1 Trillion - easy
This is what happens when guys who hang drywall and pour concrete for a living “take the country back” literally all we had to do was not do tariffs, let the Jimmy grants work in peace, and idk maybe some fucking infrastructure deals and We would be at 725. Throw in some IPOS and M&A and fuck we would be just dandy.
I got extremely lucky in my younger days I would look at IPOS of stocks I bought it day 1 at $24 a share kept 1 of those shares in my account seen it go to $41 to 8 I seen Hindenburg made a short seller report and followed every stock they burned I made immense profits on buying long calls on the companies they did that too this just so happened to line up good
Nahhh doesn’t have that hype. IPO hype train is long gone. Sucks because IPOS like figma were fucking insane at opening lol.
Why not invest in IPO & IPOS etf funds?
They just ban you from IPOS for 60 days which is worth it if you caught a 3X increase and dumped
Thanks. I’ll have to look into it for future IPOS
Loaded to the tits on GMNI and VIA IPOS...🙏🏼🤞🏼
I think mostly everyone is waiting for options, but who knows usually the dump is between today and early morning tomorrow look at the other IPOS history
I think Klarna is not well known to the Western audiences in the states and once it IPOS and does a bit of advertising it will grow very quickly
All that's happened is your eyes have been opened to REALITY. Your problem is your left wing trash news input. The market isn't connected to the state of the economy you say? You mean what you've been told to believe by trash media. There is a reason AI is popping, energy is being opened up, IPOS are coming out left and right now (not under Biden), because the Trump asministriation likes to BUILD and capitalism. CHANGE your input and you wouldn't have lost so much money
How do these IPOS work? Is Klarna gonna be available to trade at market open?
I literally sold all of my NBIS this morning to free up capital for these IPOS, with the plan to rotate back in next week after the IPOs are done. You're all welcome.
How are we supposed to know what time the IPOS even go live? Just a guessing game?
Just requested shares on all the new IPOS. This can’t go tits up
Department of war being created is probably really bullish for Anduril when it IPOS at like $1T MC raising $100b lol.
IPO STRATEGY: put a bunch of money into KLAR and GEMI and sell after the first day. During that same time, buy a bunch of puts to expire in like 2-3 weeks bc most IPOS do usually go down from their first day peak. Is this strategy the method??
so trump can pat himself on the back for firing people. Nevermind the fact that his group (dominari holdings) is underwriting all the scam chinese stock new IPOS that have been cropping lately.
I did the same. Will be requesting shares of all three IPOS tomorrow and will flip all within the first week
Can you buy IPOS on fidelity?
3 IPOS to choose from on Robinhood, can't wait to get filled on 1 share of each
ZS, PD, GTLB are probably the best bets for next week but early September could start with some red. FIGMA is either going to launch higher to screw any put holders or be a theta play. I say that even with a high PUT/CALL ratio because this seems to always happen with new IPOS. They move down more outside earnings weeks.
I do this all the time. I posted about new IPO'S several weeks ago and Noone seemed interested. Two I am looking at next are Bullish and Firefly. I would investing in new IPO'S would be right down this subs alley. Just Google IPO calendar and you can see the new ones coming out. IPOS routinely spike the day they go public. Just look at what Circle and Newsmax did recently.
60 days? Haha who gives a flying fuck. How many IPOS typically happen on a regular basis? I’d keep flipping/do my time/flip.
How much was the IPO price and how do you request stuff like this? I’ve got a few future IPOS I’m eyeing but I’ve never done this before?
how do you guys find out about these IPOS??
Who cares people absolutely pump these IPOS day 1 just gonna take my IPO restriction and my profit
IPOS lately have done great… *makes sad VOYG noises*
I’m on Robinhood. Want to do this but don’t want to be restricted from IPOS for 60 days. How are you doing it
so true, FUCK THESE IPOS OPENING AT 3x QUOTED PRICE
400% IPOS are fucking back holy shit
Are there any other IPOS in the next. 2 months?
not even with the recent bitcoin ATH you think? And the IPOS? The price of MSTR is only low currently because Saylor ATMS all the time and dilutes the price.
Is there a list of IPOS that are coming somewhere? And how do you know the time they go live?
CELH looks like it wants to make that long term U-shaped recovery. Shoulda bought calls. Also #IPOS THIS WEEK: CHIME AND VOYAGER.. GET SOME
Circle (CRCL) IPOS tomorrow This could be a very good opportunity. I expect it to move quick at first and then dump some, allowing a good opportunity. Anyone else following this?
Circle (CRCL) IPOS tomorrow This could be a very good opportunity. I expect it to move quick at first and then dump some, allowing a good opportunity
Gotta switch IPA to IPOS
Lastly, to clarify the logic further, Trump tweeted the day of Liberation to Powell to dump interest rates because this was before the bond issuance you just mentioned. He wasn't going to drop interest, but Trump knew what chaos tariffs would cause the markets here and globally. The huge pump you saw 2 days ago was institutions distributing their holdings. This has been an indicator for crashes/corrections most of the time, and the large amount of bonds countries are selling has also been an indicator. But Hopium only gets so far. The market is exhausted, the smart money is out, and those who bought spaces and tech early just did their last distribution, imo. See a 20% downside from here. If you are invested in spacs or IPOS thos are going down like 50 to 70% maybe more.
Im just worried with IPOS is the halting and getting stuck in a long red candle stick
Markets never been the same since the influx of retail investors during Covid. Just gotta get really fucking rich and go private equity. I mean just look at the amount of publicly listed companies and new IPOS compared to the old days. There used to be what? Maybe twice as many publicly listed companies. And maybe 2-300 IPOs per year vs less than 100 these days? And with so much population growth? Open your eyes you’re wasting time on a dying rigged game
forward pe of like 120ish??? There are a-lot of bagholders on this stock. I would not touch until it hit two digits again. Overvalued and IPOS ALWAYS crash hard; be patient.
Don\`t buy IPO's no matter what because the banks and hedge funds have the right to buy first and the second it IPO\`s they sell 100% like a meme coin ( in stock market meme coins are IPOS's , never ever ever never use leverage , because even if your stocks go down some will go up and you can take 3 months off and not watch them and come again and still be good if you respect this 2 stuffs you can't lose money in stock market !
what type if IPOS do you typically find in nature that are penny stocks (type of business)
Yes but APTERA is going to change the world if you want evidence look at how tesla copied their model for the cyber taxi even Sandy Monroe made the comment after it saw t myself im already invested in the private but when this IPOS mark my words to the moon alice, they alreay have the guiness record for private company public crowd funding in history!
Point #10 is simply not true. Overall, P/E ratios are rivaling 2000 and 2021 levels. There's not as many junk IPOS/SPACS trading at crazy prices as there were during those two years. But the mega-caps and large caps driving the market collectively have higher P/E ratios than either of those two years. S&P 500 CAPE ratio is tied with 2021, and a bit under 2000. Is this most IPOS plummet to the floor in the first 6 months?
Is this why most IPOS stock plummet in the first 6month?
Yes. But they generally don't. IPOs don't have that kind of cash sitting around in the beginning. They have shares which have promise. But imo all those fall flat. I seriously can only think of 5 IPOS that were successful.
Not really. I'm doing fine. But there's a difference between trading and watching a slow-moving train wreck. If you look around and think everything is normal, you were probably the same imbecile buying [Pets.com](http://Pets.com) at its all-time high or doubling down or buying IPOS based on their "eyeball" metrics. https://preview.redd.it/6uqt1e02uqwc1.png?width=709&format=png&auto=webp&s=ca2c393eb16eb319e985d7c32a7fddbf110eb63a
Are longer term puts a safer bet given most muddy tech IPOS shed 50-75% within the first couple of years before establishing cadence and management touting their forecasted successes (should there be any), e.g.: 6,12,24 months?
This is a blessing in disguise anyways. Word of advice. Stay away from IPOs, ppl always get burned by buying in too early. Nearly all IPOS follow the same pattern there’s a lot of initial hype, retail buys in, institutional investors unload their shares, and price drops. And you can’t do any meaningful technical analysis because the stock hasn’t even traded for at least a year.
Can’t trade options for IPOS for a few weeks
Question. New to IPOS. I bought like ten shares for fun. If it pumps can I just sell it whenever?
It basically is gambling, what method has consistently made you money over time investing in IPOS?
IPOS are such a scam. I still remember how they sold Rivian at $100 billions when they didn’t have a single vehicle produced 😆 They priced them higher than Ford, GM, Stellantis at the time.
Sir you do your long term investments and make money. I WANT TO FEEL ALIVE ON SHORTING MEDICIAL IPOS!
META went public over a decade ago. 5 Years ago is nowhere near IPOS. Even if we used META IPO price of $38 which was over 10 years ago, it is still only up 1151%. Whereas NVDA is up 1680% in just 5 years. NVDA doesn't have its earnings until 2/21/2024. So there is still plenty of time to run.
Remember the $ARM IPO last September? Looks like it has a bunch of momentum now… surprised because most IPOS I’ve seen tank like 75% before going up
I think CAVA is the easiest short in my life tbh, It's only a matter of time before Panera IPOS and starts eating into their margins for Mediterranean diet options as their main target consumer is white women.
Crypto.com is another big player think it IPOS soon
Good question. Most IPOS spike up then spike down. As seen on Robinhood IPOS list
Eh, IPOS are designed to raise capital for the company and reward long-term employees. For us retail investors, yes they are a 'pump and dump'. Sure alot of IPOs if you bought it and held for 10+ years, you're a winner. I follow IPOs and watch, but waiting like a year let's the dust settle IMO.
47 billion does not mean anything, its a made up number. Evaulations are made up. Its a made up number by VCs so they scan scam people downstream and get out before it collapes. Kind of like a ponzi scheme but there is a small chance that the business becomes profitable after it IPOS. Then it becomes a real business.
Miss meme stocks and meme IPOS
CEO says upgrade cycle could last 10 years..the major AI players are very profitable, limited number of IPOS..we are WAY FAR away from a bubble. There's a secret in Silicon Valley, which top VCs know..the computing stack changes EVERY 15 years (approx). [The New Stack](https://www.realcreativeagency.com/wp-content/uploads/Silicon-Valley-VC-Artificial-intelligence-Secret.jpg) VCs first invest in the chips (NVDA and SMCI). Then they invest in the operating system. There is [only one AI operating system](https://www.realcreativeagency.com/blog/verses-ai-artificial-intelligence-stock-with-biggest-potential/?reddit-wallstreet-bets), and they just announced a patent for it this past week. There will be LOTS of companies that USE AI to improve their business, but you want to focus on companies that OFFER AI to other companies.
When will IPOS on people be a thing? How can I buy shares of Elon Musk and physically own him

To expand on that: There were many IPOs in 2021 and early 2022. Hence, many of SIVB's early-stage clients accumulated large amounts of cash at SIVB. SIVB chose to spend much of that money on agency MBS and CMBS. Because of the rock bottom rates in '21, much of that was purchased with a yield below 2%. When interest rates go up, MBS prepayment goes down, and the expected maturity increases. This exacerbates the bonds' price sensitivity to rising rates. [Pg 125 of their 10k, we can see MBS and CMBS held to maturity had $13.5B of mark-to-market losses not reported on their consolidated balance sheets.](https://ir.svb.com/financials/quarterly-results/default.aspx)(banks only need to report fair value on securities held for sale.). Their total equity capital was only $15.5B. This spooked depositors, and they withdrew money. SIVB then had to sell these instruments at a loss, turning mark-to-market insolvency into real insolvency. TLDR: SIVB serves startup customers. SPAC boom and IPOS in 2021 poured money from investors to startups to SIVB. SIVB bought long term agency MBS. Rate hikes [(plus structural illiquidity in the MBS market)](https://www.bis.org/publ/qtrpdf/r_qt2212u.htm)plunged MBS values
Sorry, I was vague. What I meant about Mom & Pop depositors is that it will be impossible to drum up sympathy. In 2008, we were sold on "saving" people from foreclosure and living on the streets (never mind that it was due to dumbasses working at Subway buying 5 homes each) - It's going to be hard to convince this anti-merger administration that they should bail out a bank that funds primarily IPOS and Mergers
Back in it’s prime the meal delivery idea was innovative and they were the first to make it work and IPO. Now there’s over 20 meal delivery services including hellofresh, home chef, etc and a lot seem to have better marketing strategies than Blue Apron. It’s the same story with peloton, caravana, & a lot of other stocks that boomed during 2019-2021 IPOS.
If he turns twtr around and re-IPOS it for break even - but that's 2-5 years away and that's the shortest turn around I can see..
Sorry I just now seen this. I have never been able to buy ipos or warranty on RH so I'm not sure. You can pre order IPOS on webull. Use my link to sign up and you will get free stocks also. https://a.webull.com/B7ZteiGpyupEFgKIhE
"Here's the thing, gaymer. Uh, AIRBNB was valued at $35B before the pandemic juiced the fuk out of IPOS, and I want to keep dumping this thing down to that mcap, please get your boomer audience to hold the bag."
Same but for me IPOS
>The FOMO, hype, speculation and total disregard for valuation and risk is comparable. In what way ? I don't think any of these matches. pets.com From IPO To Complete Liquidation In 268 Days. Biggest achievement is adding .com to their business plan. Nvidia is trying to hold monopoly in its respective field and still keeps constantly growing in a market that itself is constantly growing. FOMO, hype, speculation, whatever you seen with NVIDIA doesn't match the FOMO, hype, speculation pets.com had. pets.com better matches todays IPOS, penny stocks, Nikola, crypto businesses in how people FOMO, hype, speculate, totally disregard the valuation over them. Heck to drive the point home redditors haven't been that big of buyers of Nvidia, after they beat their gadzillionth earnings all comments i could find is how people kept crying that they should have bought. Nvidias valuation is also much more trickier because it is very often a bit too overvalued as its standard, yet still brings insane returns to its investors, still only down to 2020 levels as is pretty much all main growth tech stocsk. Another one is people speculated that Nvidia should replace Netflix in FAANG, this is also not even remotely close to the same conversations people had about pets.com This is why i doubt you were around the dot com, and calling me a kid makes me think you have some personal grudges here rather than looking at situation. Bullet points. The type of speculation Nvidia had has also happened to Amazon, Facebook, Alphabet and pretty much all of the stocks reddit knows, yet all very strong companies trying to forge monopolies in their respective fields and growing insanely. The type of speculation pets.com had reminds me of penny stocks, cryptos, IPO craze where people don't have a single rational argument on why that business will succeed and believe it just because they happened to be there.
They are already suffering from bank runs, housing bubble. China is still running QE hence it’s still standing. All these Chinese IPOS are money laundering schemes too. China is probably the most fragile economy right now. Their current pro gamer move to save the banks from the bank runs was starting covid lockdowns again cuz if people are home then they can’t go to the bank
How do you find these type of IPOS?
Yep. Also I find that prices are inflated compared to something like 2015, when you could get IPOS for lower price/sales, price/gross margin, and other metrics.
You bought "expensive" stock, what's important to understand is that, what happened to you and many investors is not a loss without purpose. IT'S MARKET CORRECTION! Most of these high priced stocks have horrible fundamentals, very high P/E, their prices are very volatile, and under the hood negative cash flows. Becaus these companies in reality add very little value to the economy, and therefore its shareholders. Adding to the problem this big celebrity investors and news oulets speculate with them by forming MASS DISINFORMATION CONCENSUS, probably because such companies pay this big investors and media to make such announcements in order to get huge buyouts by retail investors during their IPOS or through these SPACS. Since these people have insider information, they will sell at the top, and short knowing in advance thes stocks will bottom. Is not strange to see a big investor making vague statements about some take over, only for such investor to say the very next day after the boom that they aren't actually buying that much stake of such given enterprise, in the meantime a lot of investors end up holding the bag.
Lol really bruh? That’s nutty but if you got 1 mill to drop on an ipo like that you must have way more money to play with or your brain is smooth af. After these recent IPOS. I wouldn’t suggest anyone getting into if they aren’t getting them at IPO price. Way too volatile now after HKD and MEGL
ok good to know what to make some money of one of these IPOS
Do IPOS trend on wallstreet bets much? This hasn’t hit the top 15 tickers yet
Check all the IPOS on Robinhood and then maybe rethink that statement… they never end well lol
Wanna keep the madness going. Two words, CHINESE IPOS
Only Chines IPOS will run, Its not just IPO plays Its Something bigger in making
I think it would come to down to evaluation still. Would be awesome to see a steam or epic games public, just a ton of IPOs/SPACs were so overvalued the last few years. Most tech IPOS are way down since going public.
Supply and demand. On webull you can check the ipo list. After HKD a lot of new IPOS been popping up
If IPOS start running again tomorrow $ILAG and $MEGL
New IPOS coming out tomorrow CHG, FRZA, LUCY
For some reason my funds weren’t available for IPOS. Pretty pissed. Hopefully I can get it on one tomorrow for Friday opening
Same! From what I gather $100 each ipo is great because it’s minimum necessary and if the ipo is good we won’t be getting more than 3 shares so our total investment is pretty low. I’m getting my family into IPOS
Was launched at 4dollars and skyrocketed to 100+ on the first Day... Many other subs warn for these Chinese IPOS on the NYSE cause they re pump and dumps.. earlier this month we also had HKD run up a shitload in 2 weeks before tanking big time... I wouldnt touch it
Lmfao look at the last two Chinese IPOS and tell me its not worth a risk.
It may hit 5K as well, but will take a lot of names on it's way down! These IPOS are minefields with intent of taking lives, American if possible!
Rugpull will be the Chinese IPOS!
