Now that Softbank is taking a stake in Intel, MBLY (80% owned by Intel) should benefit. Probably a good buy now.
Intel (INTC) was in a difficult financial position and sold some of its Mobileye (MBLY) shares below their value out of necessity to generate cash. This situation was made worse by short sellers who continued to drive the stock price down. Now, with a new funding source likely from the U.S. government, Intel's need to liquidate assets for cash has been reduced, which should ease the downward pressure on the stock. The stock's price floor is likely above $16.50, as this was the price that institutions previously paid for millions of shares during what was essentially a fire sale. Opportunities to buy a large number of shares at such a discounted price may not happen again. Most likely we wont see other opportunities to buy large amounts so subsidized/cheaply.

You're not crazy for seeing the long-term vision here. Autonomy is the future, and PONY's been flying under the radar for a while. They’ve got serious partnerships in Asia and decent IP. It’s still super early, though, so volatility is expected. As for comps, maybe check out Mobileye (MBLY), Aurora (AUR), and even Nvidia for the backbone AI side.

it’s been down a bit, especially today after what I thought were pretty good earnings/news. I’m just betting long on the autonomous driving market. A lot of big companies are investing in that tech and pushing it fwd. Google with Waymo, Uber with multiple different robotaxi companies, Tesla with their own tech. MBLY is in a solid position to grow, now it just needs to do so! It’s the most iffy of my plays but I felt similarly years ago with SOFI and have an avg of $6.90 share with that.

My biggest holdings in order are META, GOOGL, SOFI, SBUX, UBER. Have sat on the first 3 since 21’. Added Starbucks/Uber in Jan. I like to sell puts on targets a few wks out for nice premiums then buy if it gets there. So much is up right now but i’ve been targeting FDX, HD, and MBLY.

Not some small pilot program - we're talking multiple major US cities. LA launch in 2026 is just the start. The shorts are playing with fire here. 30% short interest while MBLY locks in deals with major automakers? Revenue is already growing - hit $438M last quarter, beating estimates. And now they've got VW/Uber committed to scaling their tech. The whole "tariffs will kill MBLY" narrative is total BS. Their supply chain setup means they dodge the direct impact. Classic case of shorts pushing FUD while the company keeps executing. This is the kind of deal that transforms a company from "promising tech" to "industry standard." The shorts are about to learn a very expensive lesson. VW doesn't make moves like this unless they're confident in the tech.

Besides Google's Waymo, another one to consider for robo taxis may be Mobileye (MBLY), which was spun out of Intel and does the self driving tech for Ford, BMW and VW. I don't think they're working on a robo taxi per se tho.
The company profile for KDLY doesn't really indicate that they are a Tesla agonist. MBLY said in their earnings call that no one (excluding China) is competing with them in the west, not car makers in house, not tesla, not really even waymo. So basically they are the unopposed android of driver assist and eventually full self driving cars for all companies except Tesla. Yet 23% of all their shares are being shorted, while INTC holds the majority of all shares off market. So basically besides Tesla the 10% of the float available for trading is all investors can even buy to get exposure to this technology, yet 1 in 4 shares is being shorted. Sounds pretty crazy considering how overvalued TSLA is valued for all their fake promises they dont even deliver on.

MBLY - all the auto OEMs will announce their partners for autonomous driving over the next 3-12 months. Many will select MBLY. Volkswagen and BMW are the only ones who have announced and they selected MBLY and QCOM, respectively. MBLY should win a few more big customers which results in a huge revenue ramp in 2027. The stock will appreciate that a year from now. My Dec 2025 price target is $50 which is 25x C27 EPS of $2. AMD - should double this year if they can be a real 2nd source to NVDA. I think they can but they need to prove it. We shall see. It’s a bet I am willing to take. MRVL - it already ran a lot but this story is a sure thing and is likely up another 50% in C25. I’ll take it. ALGM - boring analog semi company selling into autos and industrials. Good company, way too cheap. Demand should eventually return and ALGM moves from $20 to $40. We get it, they predicted that it would go to $11 while the price was low already, and now its way up, so they are wrong. But they still keep reposting this as fresh "news" in the official tradingview feed...
