Fair article...one of the strengths of GME is that retail investors are so loyal to it so it usually has good volume. CPRI....earnings were mixed but were positives to them..part of the stock drop was due to execution/delays which should be easy to fix. MVIS...just did an offering priced at 2.50. Not in any yet but may tomorrow...if they are in the green most likely will get in...if red, will wait for further dip.
I know you were hurt by ORGN failure or lost money or have trust issues but there are better places to trauma dump than every day coming into Wallstreetbets to troll a company that has only a very minuscule number of issues compared to the shit show that was ORGN. How can you claim to have credibility as a troll when you stuck to that one - you might as well be an MVIS investor trying to shit on ASTS. Find some friends, pet your dogs, get offline.
A perfect example of this is MVIS. They just did a reverse split on August 1st and within one week they announced a $17 million public offering. Post split price was $4.05 and it's sitting at $1.93 today.
Your responses sound like nothing will change your mind. If I had to guess you lost a lot of money in MVIS or one of the other failing/failed LiDAR companies. Ouster pursued smarter verticals years earlier than the others. It continues to set them apart.
Well MVIS did a reverse split and then instead of raising capital at four dollars they decided to sell shares for two dollars taking the price today. The whole time I’ve been wondering if they’re being forced or giving the government a sweetheart deal. Supposedly, they’re the only or at least used to be the only lidar company with non-Chinese parts. They also just did a demonstration at JIFX for the government this week.

Most except for HSAI are at or near historical lows. OUST only look good because people forget the 1:30 reverse split. They have improved their operations but I still doubt them as there are too many players and the technology still has shortcomings relating to signal degradation with age and various environmental condition affecting it. For me, it is stay away due to technology issues and too many players to know the winner.

It’s not in production vehicles, like Volvo, and I do not find any PR confirming they will continue with MVIS. Logically, if Volvo couldn’t make it work it would give me a long pause about deploying it.
This is the oldest lidar company in the world, and I mean decades and their only business model is to be funded by people like you. They’re pretty good at it,. Volvo decided to ditch Luminar lidar rather than continue with MVIS btw.

I personally feel the autonomous players will need a combination of camera, radar and Lidar to get to the safety numbers for true autonomy. Good Luck.
MVIS is one of the bankrupt competitors I mentioned. Not even remotely close on quality, partnerships or management execution. Wouldn't touch it.

QS is the way. I made a baaag off MVIS in like 2018ish, bought around .50 and it shot to around $23 iirc. Still have hope it may come back around for another run

Precisely. I like thinking perception is everything which is what MVIS can offer in physical Ai and it seems like many of the shortfalls in the autonomous automotive realm come down to making adjustments with unexpected obstacles (like road construction) MVIS niche
I too have been following MVIS. I think between cars and industrial and drone usage for their tech (and now LAZR tech too), along with the new CEO, they can break out.
Mvis is in a weird place— supposedly Kodiak and caterpillar deals are ready just not announced(?) luminar had those deals and MVIS bought luminar and had continued working w them.
MVIS feels super expensive. 1.2M in revenue and a valuation of 200M... Innoviz at least makes some sense.

AEVA is doing great! MVIS last CEO was unfortunately obsessed with developing technology and not deals. The new CEO is a long time APTIV executive and he’s definitely 10 steps of improvement ahead of the last CEO. I think it’s only a matter of time before he gets stuff done.
