All out MVIS with about 6% profit over three days. Nothing worth writing home about but happy to leave with profit. .855-.902 region. Still on my watchlist but volume is simply not increasing currently.
And boom there’s the .90 break on MVIS. All out on this trade clocked 6%. Not crazy but it’s my system. Chart is still primed to go. I’ll play the next breakout above .96 if that happens.
MVIS I believe the float is currently locked and not much left for sale either way. I’m going to watch for breakout and then most likely profit take before 10% gain since I’m already in the 4% range. Chart looks great and is following SPY tightly. A breakout on SPY above 691 will push a lot of stuff up imo.
Nice pop on MVIS. volume coming in. New high of day. Same plan as before. Cheers!
MVIS trade moving nicely after close above .88. 4hr candle now turned bullish. Shares available for short went to 0 an hour ago. Need to watch for above average volume into open. Same plan as last 48hrs. Best of luck everyone out there today!
Nice! MVIS closed right above resistance at .88. There should be some volume the first few minutes after close to give an idea for strength tomorrow. Overall market looking good into tomorrow. I’m holding. Same plan as before.
That tweet just turned so many technical charts bullish on the intraday lol. MVIS ripped right back to resistance levels. Some shorts may start closing positions across the market. For MVIS, in watching the 15min chart which is now strong bullish and a test, break, and hold above .88. Same plan as before. Volume is now coming in strong too.
MVIS trade from yesterday still holding up. Just bouncing between 85-88 in this low volume overall market. Technicals still there on the 4hr chart, slightly bullish above .85 zone. Slightly bearish below .875. Risk/reward still looks good at these levels. Volume is the last decider on direction currently. Below average volume could just end the day neutral again. Same plan still. Stop less set somewhere below 10% entry. Profit take set somewhere below 10%.
MVIS upward move to text 50 day EMA at .88. I’ll be watching the 5-15min HA candle charts for indications of strength or weakness. Same position size still and holding. A few tests at .88 then possible the 200ema of .90. In a perfect world we will get the golden cross of 50/200 on the short term 15mjn chart some time in the next 2 candles on the 4hr chart. Could be a nice trade. Not here to invest in this one. Same stop loss below 10%. Take profit below 10%. Whichever hits first.
MVIS small position started .855 anchored VWAP. Stop loss set less than 10%. Profit take set less than 10%. Check my post from yesterday for more info on what I’m seeing in this trade.
I’ve been technical screening this weekend and one that keeps being highlighted is MVIS due to multiple technical indications. 200sma and 50sma have been tightly crossing back and forth for an extended amount of time on the 4hr chart. The weekly HA candle chart has switched from bearish to neutral as of the last two week in a row with a current RSI of 39. The monthly chart has a tight bollinger band between .76 and 1.50. My plan is to keep an eye on this for 2-3 days before I make any moves. But with this technical set up, the current volume/price action increasing past average, and a continued bullish chart on the short term(1 day-15min) there may be many opportunities to trade. Key word, trade. Not invest lol. Institutions own 32%( currently double amount since Dec 2021 low). Insiders 8%, short percentage of float 21%(64million shares),Days to cover 21, shares available for short 600k. Let me know what you guys think about this set up.
For sure... of course the old NFA and do your DD, and I have a 1000 share position in $MVIS I've had for a few months, so full disclosure on my part... but yeah the 7.5W number took me a few to wrap my head around. You can barely illuminate a room with 7W, so truly impressive numbers for sure.
Wow, I didn't realize lidar could be operated on just 7.5 Watts. And they mention rugged battlefield tech. Semiconductors for the military have to have higher tolerances and specifications, so MVIS might just be a contract away from skyrocketing. I better get some now and speculate it. Thanks for the heads up!
Agreed. I wonder where $MVIS tech comes into all this?
Not exactly the same, but many ETF and index creators like Blackrock and MVIS publish commentary about market segments, developments, and specific stocks and ETFs.
I like all the small laser and photonics companies but none have made me rich yet. I’ve made great money trading syntec the past year, waiting for $1 MVIS calls to moon on some deal announcement, Lightpath is good, LASE might hit too. Lost my ass on Luminar tho lol.
Either 18 DDD calls or 35 MVIS LEAPS calls on market open, am I retarded
That's what I thought about PEW. Not the case at all. Good for a quick spike and then an immediate negative position. Same with WLF and numerous others, so im steering clear of this one. Im leaning toward MVIS with my drone play
I feel like SLS did a lot of the run already, and MVIS has much more upside, but depends on the time length
MVIS is the play. New CEO, new drone compatible tech on display at CES. Ran up 100% last year this time on basically no news…chart is looking like a replay.
Good pick $INVZ…also take a look at $MVIS with its price where it’s at.
this is exactly the same, but at least MVIS is already trying to move away from automotive, ARBE not so much.. just a little different product (there is less players in 4D radar), but lidar is already adopted by automotive, 4D radars not yet really a lot of pros and cons, this is a high risk play (fyi, i also own some ARBE shares)
ARBE has confirmed preliminary serial production orders with major OEMs, including with China's state - owned automobile company, and China's and Sweden's infrastructure national projects. On top of this, it has massive cash reserve and a the best radar chipset. MVIS has none of what Arbe has. It helps to do some homework instead of spreading FUD.
Haha, this feels like MVIS, which I've been bagholding for 3 years
MVIS at lowest price in 52-wk MVIS has a history of being a low-priced stock. I’m pointing out that the stock is at its lowest price level in a 52-week period. As you can see, it started out at 0.83 today and has not been very volatile. The high for this stock is 1.95 in a 52 week period. Do whatever you want, I’m just here with the facts. This stock has been a long-standing company and earnings or whatever are not important to me, I just look at the chart. https://preview.redd.it/8r1sppw55qag1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4dde5fa33927c02247d96b74e7bc3ee3d75c3536
yep, back in 2021, I was up over one million in MVIS but bought into all that hype and BS. that dog turned out to be nothing more than an overblown science project.
Will be watching for any Pr or newS for MVIS Jan 7th CES
I'm borderline obsessed with lost opportunities. I won't go into detail... BUT my new fixation is researching what's next. I thought some lidar centric companies might be my redemption ( Looking at you MVIS) but alas, I still trudge to work at Wendy's every morning.
MVIS. Lidar is gonna be a disruption tech in auto, defense and industrial.
I like MOBX, CSAI, MVIS and HOWL long term.
I always laugh when I see[ Lidar Stocks.](https://finance.yahoo.com/quotes/LAZR,AEVA,INVZ,HSAI,OUST,ARBE,LIDR,MVIS/) I did a lot of research on them a couple of years ago. Today, most except for HSAI are at or near historical lows. OUST only look good because people forget the 1:30 reverse split. There are too many players and the technology still has short falls relating to signal degradation with age and various environmental condition affecting it. For me, it is stay away due to technology issues and too many players to know the winner. Remember TSLA only uses camera. In the automotive segment, I personally feel they will need a combination of camera, radar and Lidar to get to the safety numbers for true autonomy. For building security / surveillance, any may be good but the technology shortfalls still over ride it be completely economical. Good Luck.
Right. It's not just Amazon LEO and Starlink. There are other, smaller players. This is another hype story much like MVIS years ago.
Microvision MVIS should have been on here, easy 10 bagger this year
Microvision (MVIS) Easy 10 bagger, it did it once, it will do it again.
I used margin in the Covid days buying MVIS on the massive pump. Paid off bigly, but never did it again.
Holy fucking shit there are still people in MVIS talking about….MVIS
They don't even have a LiDAR anymore. Well they never had one. They were trying to develop one and gave up due to cost and being able to just buy LiDAR from existing companies for cheaper than they could make their FMCW LiDAR. MVIS would have been a better choice. They don't really have any revune currently, but are starting to sell into the defense and industrial sector now. And they don't burn over 200 million a year like luminar. They have runway for a year plus with an ATM they can draw from as well.
You want MicroVision. $MVIS The future of adas and safety powered by MicroVision!
Cheap, shit ticker that’s getting interesting against MVIS. Also some regard posted a dd on SOC years ago and it was up huge today, which I though was funny af
MVIS, recent interview with CEO Glen De Vos. She’s ready to pop. News expected before EOY.
As far as investing in tech , I'd look into MICROVISION. They are doing big things with Lidar and just opened their Defense operations dept close to D.C. Using their Lidar tech for military drones. These drones can even relay info to the ground via IVAS augmented reality headsets which are Microsoft HoloLens units with MicroVision projection tech inside. Currently sub $1 apps. Also recommend watching Ben's MicroVision Podcast on YouTube. He just did an awesome , informative interview with MVIS ceo Glen DeVos.
MVIS…..need a strong stomach
An ouster of the money in your account. Agree LiDAR will be important in the near future, but all the similar companies burn through cash and dilute shareholders. Think LAZR of MVIS. It’s still some time away as an investment. Ouster actually seems overpriced to me currently.
HMBL, CAN, MVIS. Maybe wsb can help me out...
At that point you might as well invest in MVIS over lazr
With MVIS’ change in leadership recently, I’m hoping they have a good comeback for 2026. It’s my largest holding
MVIS is like the original meme stock, mostly just shills orchestrating pump and dumps and most of the "investors" are really just bag holders who took the bait
Why is MVIS not on your list out of interest?
MVIS is a great stock to pump and dump 3 month trades, not necessarily a good investment. It bottoms just above or below $1, then slowly runs up to $1.40-$1.50 every few months. Sell that spike for a fat 40% profit, then wait for it to drop again, and repeat. Gain 100%+ in a year just buying a selling the spikes. They are slow and easy to see.
I’ve been following this sector for almost 5 years and my only holding is $MVIS. They just got a new CEO, will be getting a new CFO, and are poised to sign automotive, industrial, and defense deals over the next few years. One of their key advantages is cost, at $200 for short-range and $300 for long-range. Compare that to $INVZ whose CEO just a few days ago said they’re in the $500-$850 range, and $OUST whose unit cost is in the several thousands. $LAZR is underwater in debt and I think they’ll be out of business shortly. They just lost their deal with Volvo. I’d suggest you listen to MVIS’s most recent earnings call if you want the lay of the land. Glen DeVos (new CEO) contributed to the commoditization of radar and thinks MicroVision can do the same for lidar.
I always laugh when I see [Lidar stocks](https://finance.yahoo.com/quotes/LAZR,AEVA,INVZ,HSAI,OUST,ARBE,LIDR,MVIS/). Most except for HSAI are at or near historical lows. If you have $100 to spare MVIS is a good long term play.
Was eyeing MVIS for a while but I bought in last week when I found out that Palmer likes the company.
Everyone remembers GME and AMC. Fewer people remember that MicroVision (MVIS) actually had its own peak main-character moment and has already come back once. If BYND can recycle its meme arc multiple times, MVIS is a candidate to do the same again. In early 2020 MVIS was basically a forgotten penny stock. The all time low was around $0.16 on March 17, 2020, and the all time high was around $28.00 on April 27, 2021. That is roughly a 170x move in about 13 months. So MVIS was not just "one of the names." It had a day where it topped the main meme stock forums by mentions. That burned it into meme stock history. A lot of people mentally filed MVIS under "2021 bagholder graveyard" and moved on. But in 2023 it quietly did a second run: - January 2023 monthly high around $2.79 - June 2023 monthly high around $8.20 So again, it effectively did a triple plus from early year levels, with a blowoff in May and June where volume exploded. Look at Beyond Meat (BYND): - Massive cult run after IPO - Then a long, ugly bleedout - Then another huge speculative move later with people openly calling it a meme comeback, despite fundamentals being very questionable BYND shows that once a ticker has "lore" and a history of life changing wins for a few traders, it never fully leaves the retail imagination. It just waits for the right mix of: - A memorable story - Heavy short interest - Options and liquid trading - A news item that can be turned into a simple narrative MVIS already checked those boxes twice. And unlike BYND, which is basically "plant burgers vs expectations," MVIS is attached to lidar, AR, and now defense tech, which are rich sources of stories. MVIS is back under $1 after having been a $28 meme and a mid single digit short squeeze. That visual alone is catnip for people who like "this used to be way higher" charts. The 2021 narrative for MVIS was roughly "mystery lidar / AR stock that might be in talks with big players plus a ridiculous chart." Today you can layer a few extra elements on top. 1. The tech stack is clearer If you read recent coverage and company material, MVIS is pushing: - Automotive lidar with a "tri lidar" architecture (different ranges, stitched with software) - Industrial lidar for robots and warehouses - Defense related sensing and perception So instead of random "laser thing that might be in HoloLens," the story is now "cheap lidar for cars, robots, and the military." Retail traders do not need the details. They just need to be able to say "this is tied to autonomous driving and defense." 2. Palmer Luckey enters the picture This is where it gets spicy for Reddit. There is a widely shared post titled "Palmer Luckey is a 'a believer' in MVIS technology" that quotes him as a believer in MVIS tech, tying together: - Oculus founder - Anduril (defense startup) - Military mixed reality helmets and IVAS - MVIS technology On top of that, fans keep sharing clips and links where Palmer talks about military XR, Anduril, and headsets: - Palmer Luckey on IVAS contract and Microsoft transition - Palmer Luckey Twitter post thread - Palmer Luckey on MicroVision in Peter Diamandis podcast Is any of this a guarantee? No. But it upgrades MVIS as a story. "Random lidar" is one thing. "Palmer Luckey, Oculus guy and defense tech billionaire, says he is a believer in MVIS tech" is another. That kind of line fits nicely in attention grabbing titles and tweet threads. 3. The meme infrastructure still exists This matters. Once a ticker has been a main character, it keeps certain infrastructure around it: - A dedicated retail community that still watches the ticker - Old threads full of victory screenshots - Screener sites that track its mentions - Social sentiment trackers that still list it When something happens, you do not have to build awareness from zero. The wiring is already in place. Someone posts a fresh MVIS chart or Palmer clip. It hits stock forums, then sentiment sites start showing more mentions, then it climbs most mentioned lists, then secondary sites and news articles repeat "MVIS is back." That loop already ran in 2021 and 2023. None of that guarantees a third arc. It just means that if you believe meme runs are about stored stories plus social wiring, MVIS has a lot of dry tinder once the right spark hits. This post is not financial advice. Just one person thinking out loud about how and why certain meme tickers, like MVIS and BYND, keep coming back from the dead.
I felt this. I had about 144k net worthe and was in the middle of buying our first home in 2021 mostly in the MVIS run up. I got lucky but also got cocky and greedy. One day it all crashed about 30% and I held on thinking buyers would still buy.... I finally decided to cut my losses and walk away with 80k . And was still about to get my home. Didn't want to disappoint the wife and brought it up to her. She told me to sell if she hadn't we would've lost the home and probably gotten sued
I like MVIS under a dollar, for sure.
MVIS has massive potential. I’m at 100k shares and despite the trouble with them wrt price, I’ve been considering adding more. Too cheap not to.
He made a post in the MVIS sub back in March. Was a huge shocker to everyone because it was so random
This is my feeling as well. It’s good company to keep if they have just a knowledge of each other and respect. Go MVIS!
Damn I looked up a wsb classic from 2021 called Microvision (MVIS). How is that company not bankrupt rofl.
As someone who bought before the $28 run up and held without selling, I’m fine if it memes up or goes up authentically. That said, it’s a wild ass gamble with low likelyhood in my book, but with what I learned about investing through reading about MVIS and others, I got my financial act together and made crazy solid moves for my retirement and net worth.

The biggest killer to MVIS : they don’t have any salesmen. Meta, who’s just down the road, are going wild for laser based displays and had an open invitation conference on the subject. MVIS didn’t show up. MVIS literally don’t know how to do business.
While I have no interest in meme stocks and don't recommend them, I wanted to add: Your analysis of MVIS's recent meme cycles is spot on, but also MVIS has been doing this cycle of *veiled new product hype -> vague talks about deal with "big" company -> stock pumps -> new shares issued -> no meaningful revenue ever materializes* for about 20 years. Before that, they were a big name in laser based barcode scanning but after their patents ran out their revenue dried up and they've been trying to come up with their next big thing and never quite get there. The first hype cycle I remember was around solid state blue lasers but I think there was one before that, then it was a laser-based microprojector package for integrators and rumors that Apple would add one to the iPhone, then eventually their own line of pocket sized projectors which shipped after years of delay but weren't significantly better than LCD alternatives, then a component used in Hololens which leads to the era you talked about.
I’m amazed at how Lidar has become mainstream, yet there’s so many different approaches. I was never a believer in the wearable headgear for augmented reality or that it will be adopted as a mainstream “must have” device, but I get its specialized use cases. If Palmer is even slightly connected to MVIS it’s a massive plus, and we can only speculate at this point, but it would be an interesting scenario to ponder what could be happening behind the scenes.
I have me some MVIS and it’s sort of like the timid little stock that I just don’t have the heart to kick out of my stable. I don’t have much and wouldn’t even notice if it went to zero, but I would be disappointed. I keep up on whatever news I can find. The reality is that they need revenue and catalysts that aim sure are brewing and the next wave, the third in the set is usually the largest, and I’m waiting for that wave to ride.
RVPH at 0.59 PROP at 2.32 PLUG at 2.7 MVIS at 1.26 GPUS at 0.57 DFLI at 1.18 Why do I come to this end.
Be advised that r/MVIS is heavily moderated and not a place for sober discussion and the sharing of realistic information. Constructive posts that consider slightly negative outlooks may earn a ban, even when mods cannot point to a rule violation. Check any daily thread and you'll see deleted comments throughout. I would caution against investing in MVIS based on the censored information from that sub.
I remember when I had like 2,000 shares of MVIS at like 0.40 and I sold it for a measly $800 gain. 🤣
Mvis will have its day again. It’s in the same basket of swaps as GME so even if MVIS doesn’t force the run up itself, GME could make it happen for MVIS.
MVIS bear the Earnings !!! Bam !! 🔥⬆️
Does this put Penny Stonks back on the menu? Because man I made a killing on GNUS, MVIS, etc back in the day.
DFLI, DVLT, and MVIS (LAZR is out of the picture now. MVIS about to take LiDAR marketshare). And it's not a pennystock, but easy money: GRAB
MVIS is the stuff PTSD is made out of. If you were around way back when WSB and this place were all over it you'd understand. Many a bag were made during that time.
