Thanks for posting this. I looked it up and now I'm long NU. Because Average Volume (10 Day) = 88,385,340 Percentage Held by Institutions = 77% Est. EPS Growth Next Year = 41.46% Est Revenue Growth (Current Year) = 24.06%
Why those 3? I've been on the NU train for a while now and haven't seen a lot of movement.
NU is tightly coiled and about to shoot up, imo. I hold NU at 5% of my brokerage account. Revenue and cash flow are steadily increasing for NU.
Up 85% on HIMS, HOOD, ASTS, and NBIS. Expecting NU, DLO and OSCR to carry me the second half of the year.
Not really interested in making any of these large holdings. UBER and NU as smaller holdings, but otherwise no. Some of these I've never heard of. NET I think is a great long-term growth story, but I've been trimming it lately up more than 100% off the low. ASTS is another thing I've been trimming lately, that's up 110% in a month. I think these both still interesting long-term stories but there's a point where I feel like things have gotten ahead of themselves - the RSI on ASTS got to 90 before it started to turn and it's still technically overbought. There's not much I'd buy in general at this point in terms of growth. That doesn't mean that there aren't good long-term stories, but *short-term* someone buying something ASTS in the mid 50's after it's gone basically vertical in a month with a 90ish RSI is chasing out of FOMO. and last one into the investment party is often the first one out when the momentum stops and it starts correcting. Anything growth that hasn't done well in the last month or two with growth stocks soaring, I'd question what's wrong with it. Thematic bets used to play out over a year or two, now anything remotely "hot" turns into a complete pile-on and what one used to expect in a year or two now seems like 6 months or less. High quality problem but at the same time in some of these cases the move becomes so short-term excessive that it is prudent to at least trim the position and now you quickly have to figure out another bet that you hope to get right and/or wait for a better opportunity in something. "First Solar" There is a point where the solar theme will start to be totally given up on and maybe there's a decent bounce there (especially if rates actually do come down) but the fundamental story really isn't very good for the foreseeable future. Maybe eventually things turn for solar again and by that time enough companies have either combined or 0'd that the remainder will be stronger if the fundamental story ever really turns back the other way. ("Solar manufacturing is booming. Advocates say it could go bust without incentives", https://www.npr.org/2025/06/27/nx-s1-5442376/manufacturing-congress-solar-energy-tax-cuts-roll-back) "Globant" I've never gotten the appeal of these tech consulting companies (DAVA, this, Reply in Italy, there's others) and now with AI kind of question the risk of disruption.
I enjoy the stuff out of the norm here. I read a lot of investment companies opinions, but they rarely call stuff that isn’t well known. Chat gpt pulls from them and other online sources. I got RKLB, Karooo, NU, and a few others from here. I missed out on PLTR because I didn’t act the day I read it then thought 30$ was overpriced lol rip.
NU Morgan Stanley maintains Overweight rating and 'Top Pick', PT $18.
Looked through the thread quick and didn’t see it mentioned so apologies if I missed it, but does anyone know what’s going on with NU today? Up 7.5% with already 35 million volume just two hours into trading but I don’t see any news.
Latin America with MELI, NU. SEA with SE.
Meli is eating them for breakfast. Most importantly NU has horrible customer service and is loosing trust. Meli on the other had has great customer service and do everything in their power to make sure the client is happy. No, i am not making this up. Read some customer reviews or talk to real customers. Aside from that: \- Meli is using its Ecommerce base to convert into fintech. Lower cost of acquisition. \- Meli has an everything app that allows all user ecom + fintech to pay everything. Adding value \- Can invest in crypto \- Meli is also a Point of Sale for businesses, so business loans and other b2b businesses. [Check this post out. Monthly app downloads. Meli is increasing, while Nu is decreasing. ](https://x.com/BourbonCap/status/1935715636283343134)
Would do borderline illegal and disrespectful things for NU to run past 12.50 by EOD
Come on NU let’s go up and close strong over 12.50 you sick son of a bitch
I've seen a few write ups online about it, but all the payment names kinda blur together at this point. This one is more emerging market focused which is an interesting area, but even in LATAM there's MELI and NU doing similar things, plus STNE and PAGS.

NU is such a piece of shit stock. Barely above IPO with multiple years of growth. Fuck.
Bro I bought NU calls today, am I cooked or should I double down?
Had like a 400% gain when i got lucky on cheap NU calls one time. Funny that Buffts dropped them seeing his portfolio shifts.
Didn't realize that my portfolio has been up 6% this year. Buying the dip, even in the smallest increments can do wonders. Gonna pour one for AAPL, CRWD and TMO , I sold all of them early this year so i can buy the April dips on GOOGL, META, AMZN, GRAB, NU. I have a few other stocks i am thinking of selling but I'll hold off on that as i think the short term momentum for the entire market is going up.
I've been in position on NU since 11am and at this point I truly don't give a fuck if it hits my take profit or my stop loss, just do something you piece of shit stock
Ngl i expected NU to rebound after last night but I didn't think it would completely recover and make gains like this today
NU… this is what you should’ve done AH yesterday 😡
NU recovering. My 13.5 calls might actually be ITM
I've got 13c for June 6. My breakeven is 13.76. I think NU will get to your breakeven aswell considering it's rebounding after the initial drop ah. And you never know it might jump tomo.
NU with the holy reversal
Should I hold my NU june 27th 13.50 calls or sell tomorrow?
> NU It fucking better
NU might just recover lmaooooo
NU is a digital bank, just googled it. No idea when they report, but if you bought calls, they would print.
Fucking piece of shit NU

NU earnings not even bad. What an overreaction 🙄
$NU edged me, fucked me and now wants me to pay big $$$ for it.

Why is half this sub so bullish in sony and NU, feels like another WSB inverse trap
NU might get double beat. Previous earnings was actually good for it other than the fact that USD was strong resulting in headwind.
what are your OKLA and NU plays for today? Thinking puts for both but I’m scared
Tossed some chump change at calls for NU. We’ll see what happens
$NU calls what do you guys think?
I am Brazilian and would never recommend investing in Brazil, because the real is a weak currency, but there are good opportunities: Vale3 and Agro3. I still don't understand why NU is interesting.
help me choose between NU calls or puts guys
Calls on NU. Warren buffet will retire and put all of his money into NU account
if only NU would jump 20% after earnings
What’s everyone think about NU and CAVA?
I bought GRAB/NU too. Also bought SE and MELI. I agreed with your thesis it didnt feel like those international businesses for going to be effected they had limited US exposure.
The best stocks I bought in the dip this year so far was GRAB, NU. Which kinda make sense because they are overseas and not really in the way of tariffs and trade wars. I wish i bought more, but i still have heavy bias towards US tech.
Portfolio was up a pleasant 3.79% in April, led in big part by my dumpster diving throughout the month with NU returning 25%, RKLB at 22%, OMAB at 13%, and SAP at 10%. Also, NTDOY, my beloved, up 22% in April.
NU at $9.15 (35%) ODD at $38.5 (42%) My two big winners. The scary part, SPY is still below the 200 day. The intensity of that selloff can't be overstated. Just technically, we're still not in an uptrend.
I sold all my AAPL and CRWD, and moved the money to mostly AMZN, META and GOOGL.. and a little on GRAB and NU.. Of course the ones who is up +30% was GRAB and NU.
MELI and NU have been on a nice run here, along with STNE/PAGS wish I had more international vs US for sure
NU is ok I think. but really don't focus on low PPS and just find good companies. you will get burned more times than not if you do that.
I'm assuming you were heavily in options or some kind of shitstock - no degree of market volatility would produce these losses in a healthy portfolio. Serious answer to your question: develop a thoughtful, conservative investment plan based on certain parameters. For me, I have a no-options rule, no exceptions. I've lost more than you've lost on options trading. Now I only buy shares. It's been much better for both my results and my mental health. A volatile, bearish market is a great opportunity to accumulate shares of high-quality stocks at the best possible prices. My largest position right now is MRVL, which I stayed FAR away from before this downturn because of its price. It's now down like 50% YTD, and I took the opportunity to load up. I bought a lot of shares of companies I really like in the past couple weeks - NU, REAL, GOOGL. I also sold a lot this week, going from fully invested to like 50% cash as of today on this pump. Overall I'm up 15% YTD, which I consider an excellent return in the current market context. You can still trade, take advantage of volatility, and take risks without leverage or degenerate gambling. I keep an 'investment journal' where I do freeform analysis on stocks I'm interested in (reading earning reports, relevant media, screenshotting my spreadsheet analysis of financials) and comment periodically on trades I've made and how I'm thinking about my portfolio. It's a useful mechanism to stay honest with yourself and keep a record to look back on and assess.
Yeah but the EV market... EH! He's a nazi. Ok, but the taxi... NU UH! He's a nazi. Well whatabout... NAAAZZIIIIII.

Yeah, there is also the point that we're seeing thesis changing things happening right now. I unloaded NSSC, which I think is way oversold and decently cheap, and instead bought NU and CSU (also cheap). I think both are much better positioned going forward. NSSC has a lot of tariff exposure on its equipment.
For consideration, some of my smid caps (not sure if you have any of these already): AMTM, ONTO, COHR, OPRA, FOUR, EVVTY, NU
Sold the NU that I bought yesterday. Thought there would be more of a bounce, but 12% profit in 30 hours is happy. Also a reminder, a good reason to sell a holding is because your invest thesis changes. If the possibility of tariffs really messes with a business, there's probably other options out there.
I mean, of o have to make a prediction, I think S&P will rally. Shorts covering, oversold, etc. probably up to at least 5500. That's really the next test. Like I said, every trader was talking about closing shorts and going long on Friday. I'm fairly confident that's what's going on. I've been mostly adding to high conviction names. I bought NU premarket yesterday at like $9.15. I'm very happy buying there. I added some ODD at $38 on Friday. I'm very happy buying either at those prices. I still have some cash and a few names I might unload if we reject on the way up.
I nibbled a bit more at around 11:30amET. Added to my positions in IBKR (13% more shares), GOOGL, (16%), NU (19%), PCOR (5%), and, because I'm a masochist, TTD (28%). Cash position moved from 13% of my total cost basis to 12%.
Bought some NU premarket at $9.15. It's cheap and you don't get many opportunities to buy with the VIX over 45.
Nothing wrong with your plan. I did the same as you in 08-09 and it served well. Took a little longer to get the gains back in 2000 but I was newbie then. My core investments are still all in place, letting those ride. I’m going to be on the hunt for quality hold forever stuff, and quality small cap growth juicers. MELI, APP, RKLB NU, etc.
I've talked with a few people here about NU (I'm a holder). I think the stock will head.lower as it's one of those really popular names that's getting shellacked right now as people pull money out of the market. That said, I also think it's obscenely cheap right now. Especially if you think Mexico will largely be the beneficiary of this tariff escapade. I love when a good name goes down for non-business related reasons.
Copy/paste from my earlier comment: Just added to NU (22% more shares), SAP (27%), SOFI (12%), YETI (61%), AVUV (4%), QQQ (4%), and VOO (4%). Cash position decreased from 15% of my total cost basis to 13%.
$NU below 10$. Real tempting.
I added to my positions in NU, SOFI, SAP, YETI, AVUV, QQQ, and VOO.
Just added to NU (22% more shares), SAP (27%), SOFI (12%), YETI (61%), AVUV (4%), QQQ (4%), and VOO (4%). Cash position decreased from 15% of my total cost basis to 13%.
I don't see a lot of glaring opportunities right now, even after this big pre-market drop. Prices are basically back to where they were on Monday? As of right now, I plan to add to ASML, GOOGL maybe, NU if it goes below $10, and REGN.
i think some of the international stocks will be fine for the most part. i'm looking at NU in particular, that's an amazing stock. with america basically handing over the decade to china, i'd look there too otherwise, i'm honestly baffled as to what else to pick up at this time, at least w US exposure
I think trying to argue the "virgin" status online especially in the context of "NU UH I HAVE SEX THATS WHY IM A SEX PEST AND GO TO HOOTERS!!" is weird on way too many levels so why bother haha it's just a meme all around
Like you say, intent of the trade is important. AMTM is, for me a deeply misvalued trade. It should be a $30-35 stock and if it gets there, I'll probably sell. It does however have some optionality too. Adam Rossi was the person I heard about it from, and he's big in the defense space having previously founded a company. It's possible it has legs beyond that, but at this point, it's just a simple trade. I'm definitely getting better at focusing the intent of my trades. Not everything should be hold forever, and it's been hard to learn that. Even somethings that should be hold forever names get really expensive and should be sold. Buffett regrets not selling KO, for example. I'm really trimming down my highest conviction, hold forever names. Like I posted earlier, of it can't do a 15% CAGR, with fantastic management, I'm out. Basically I've got UFPT, CSU, TOI, KNSL, HWKN, MELI, VRTX. I have a few borderline names that might graduate into that category (NU, EVVY, and my microcap gold miner). Anything else, I realize will be sold at some point. Most within 5 years. It's really helping me gain focus to be more focused.
Just nibbled a smidge. Added a few % more each to my NU, ASML, IBKR, and DDOG positions. Cash position is still 14%.
Rolls Royce and NU Holding are juicy 😍😍
