I don't really. My life needs stability so I have relatively balanced portfolio mostly in general ETFs across different asset classes. I do have a couple long and medium term specific stock picks (AAPL, MSFT, etc. ABNB may be short term rather than medium term i guess) plus a couple of Leap Call lottery tickets on NU and TSM) in a tax advantaged account that weight me more more to equities then the books would tell you.

That’s a pretty good list of companies IMO, although I am not familiar with STT. I suggest considering a cyber security pick and an emerging market pick. CRWD is best company in the cyber security sector IMO but it is pretty expensive to maybe wait for a dip. MELI is the Amazon of Latin America and they offer fintech services. NU is a fintech company that is expanding Latin Americans’ access to credit and other financial services. CRWD, MELI, and NU are volatile so they requires some tolerance there. CELH is a fast-growing energy drink company that recently expanded to Canada and is eyeing Europe next. It’s also volatile and a bit expensive, but the grow is outstanding.
If you like SOFI and want exposure to LATAM, NU is the way to go. I've got positions in both SOFI and NU - but long-term I actually believe more in Nubank's growth story.
I like SE Sea Ltd for a turnaround play, NU, MELI, ELF, CAVA, NOW, in addition to many others listed here.
NU. A profitable Brazilian digital banking company. I agree with that. Plus it has weekly options.
AMZN, GOOG, V, JPM, MSFT, CRM, and AMD make for a great portfolio IMO. I suggest looking at MELI and NU for I international exposure. They are volatile so not for the faint of heart.

Depends on your goals. For me its long terms growth, so ETF’s or Index funds would be my preferred investments. I would look into more sustainable, profitable, low risk investments with a track record of good performance. I did find your NU selection very intriguing. Just added to my watchlist. 👍

I'd rather buy the best international companies than an ETF. Such companies include NU, MELI, ASML, and possibly STNE
NU, ISRG, MELI, V, CSU, ACN, TT are all great companies and investments IMO. I’m not familiar enough with the others to have a take.
I’m all in at this point, but let’s not sucking each other’s dicks just yet as Mr. Wolf would say. There are still the remains of a bunch of RH ipo buyers littered in and around various fast food dumpsters. Other than DUOL, CART, NU and now RDDT, all of the ones that I see listed are down bad.
Berkshire so I have exposure to Apple. But for stocks outside of that. MELI, NU, and SE for international stocks. BLDR for a picks and shovels play for the US homebuilding. And DKNG for exposure to the US gambling market.
I really hope so. I’ve been selling theta on it for a few weeks successfully and moved my expiration dates back because it keeps going up. It’s starting to look like NU. If/when premiums start tanking I’ll get assigned and just buy leaps and roll them every 3-6 months depending on performance. That said, I don’t think it’s gaap profitable yet, and until it is it can always take a massive dump on any given ER; plus it’s possible that the uptick we’ve seen recently is at least partially driven by btc..

Nu 1335 shares = 15.6% Isrg. 62 shares = 23.6% Visa ( CDR's on the NEO exchange ) 620 shares = 11.9% EQB ( on the TSX) 301 shares. = 17.2% AP.UN ( on the TSX) 374 shares = 4.4% BN (on the TSX) 126 shares = 4.9% AJG 45 shares = 10.8% Meli 4 shares = 5.7% BNS ( on the TSX) 147 shares = 6.9% (gigidy gigidy alright) I have exposure; Emerging markets through Meli and nu. Insurance through AJG Banking through EQB - BNS - NU - visa Medical through ISRG REIT through AP.UN Brookfield corp is exposed to damn near everything. Portfolio dividend is 1.5% I have a few companies that I want to add. Become a little more diverse. Valuations are a bit steep on some. Novo Nordisk, CSU, vistra group, Accenture, trane technologies Thoughts.
How long should I hold this NU $12C 4/19?
A lot of growth stocks are expensive right now, but with a DCA strategy, valuation doesn’t matter as much. I suggest looking at NOW, MELI, ASML, CRWD (very expensive right now), TTD, and NU.
Hell yeah. NU went up today while everything else went down, that's always good right. I decided to wait until tomorrow to buy more nvda. I have a feeling $850 tomorrow. Gonna grab another 10 either way ahead of the GTC. Feels like free money.

leaps puts can be profitable if you don’t believe that stocks only go up As for myself, I have been buying leaps calls on NU and rolling them for profit since last year and doing quite well with them. Boring, but (so far) profitable.
It's still not too late for nvda, it is likely going to become the biggest company in the world pretty soon here. My most recent shares are in the high 800s. Once anything is $1000 per share though it seems sketchy to buy haha. But anyway yeah HIMS bores me as well. I looked into NU and you are definitely on to something there. Added it to watchlist and joined the subreddit, going to keep a very close eye on it leading up to the may earnings call. The only thing that is throwing me off is the already high market cap. With the shares being $11 and no splits I was expecting sub 5b, but 50b+ holy cow.

Same here bro! I closed account today after going from $43k to $16k this week. Started a few months ago. Felt like God at first when I spiked up then like Lucifer for past few weeks. Started trading against myself. Played on tilt. Obsessively staring at ticker. I’m out! Put the $16k into NU and gonna see where it’s at in a year. I’ve had good success with long term trading. This is a lot more exciting but the lows ain’t worth it. Now, I gotta get over the guilt of what I could’ve done with the $. It’s not like real money to me when it’s in a margin account
That's a fair, but I'd offer some counterpoints: 1. I think NU is better run (today's SoFi news doesn't help their story) 2. Regulators in Brazil have been really favorable toward NU in a way you just wouldn't see regulators act in the US 3. Nu has incredible CAC for their sector. Their product is so much better than their competitors that word of mouth is really strong 4. The Big 5 US banks have responded to the fintech/startup ecosystem and meaningfully differentiated their offerings. They've been much more responsive to adjust to consumer behavior than institutional banks in LATAM have been able to respond.
Y’all still ignoring NU. Gotta trust in Buffett.
yeah I guess I should say I would never hold SPY calls or puts with a short expiration date because of massive theta decay. Calls that far out are fine. Like I have SMH calls with April and May OpEx expirations right now, 6/21 AMZN calls, WMT leaps, NU leaps, etc

I had NU calls at it was down almost 5% AH on its earning call but I held them and it recovered over the next three days and actually turned a profit.
SOFI at $7-$8, COCO, PLTR when comes back down to $18-$19 range, NU if comes back down to $9 range Should be able to buy all of these when fear and greed index dumps, which believe will start with PCE report tomorrow. I buy cheap and then sell covered calls. Am up 24% YTD now after today's massive pop on COCO's earning's which I called out yesterday lol
Who is invested in NU ? - Great revenue growth. - margin expansion - bullish outlook - new products - they are attacking the traditional banks. Feels like I'm late but this stock has potential.
The market is strange. NU had great numbers = down (took next week to print). CVNA had shit numbers = up (and still going). The vegan meat with shit numbers = up (+50 fucking percent) Just feels like the market is screwing with the obvious choice of everyone P.S. I know you're 100% calling puts right out of a golden unicorn's ass but hope you're wrong for the first time on AAP 
I remember hearing NU P/E was too high to buy last year because it was at 500. A year later stock doubled and P/E ratio in the 50s now.

I DCA more slowly when my stocks are up in valuation. For instance, I’m not adding to CRWD right now, but I’ve added a good bit of NU since I think it’s fairly valued.
I am so relieved that I didn't start wild options trading with my main stocks account. I made 4 wrong calls in the last few weeks. (SPY, CISCO, NU and finally WDAY today) and lost all the money in my spare broker account. I think if I had utilized my main stock account for this, I would not be stable

Too much competition=lower margins , the exception is fintech companies in new emerging markets such as NU like you mentioned. I wouldn't bother w the rest. They are just value traps.

52 years old, $450k company buyout down to $325k (after 2 years) due to my horrible stock picking and gamblers mindset. Need advice before I give my wife the password so I can’t trade Yeah, you read that right! In a 2 year span when the market mostly went up I’ve managed to lose about 25%. My current holdings: 800 AAPL, 10,000 SSSS, 4,000 NCLH, 2500 SoFI, 2200 NU and a few tiny positions in Meme stocks thanks to the WSB sub. I do have 750k in a work 401k that thankfully only allows me to index. 40% if that is in bonds. But I’m not sure where to go with the IRA. Since I’m an old lump of coal I only have like 10-12 years left. I’m afraid of doing index because mkt is all time high. And I keep thinking the above single stocks will eventually go up significantly. Perhaps they will. But I bought AAPL at $195 and I keep reading their best days maybe behind them. SSSS is a VC company I bought at $6. And I keep thinking they will get an IPO from one of their holdings and return to double digits with a big dividend again. And hoping NCLH will return to some sort of pre pandemic pricing. But this has all made me a chart watcher and researcher (reading BS articles about how any of these stocks will rocket or plummet—there’s an entire of industry of people just writing click bait articles). Bottom line: I’m afraid to sell and go into indexes to miss out and I’m afraid to keep these in case they continue to suck (like AAPL). I’m afraid to sell them now cuz their down and don’t want to take the loss. I’m afraid to index cuz the returns are slow and could even go down for a decade. I’m afraid of cash cuz it’s only 5%. And most of all, I feel a weight of guilt for losing about $125k when I should be up about $100k over the past 2 years. I’m trying to at least get back to even…Can anyone help a brother out?
