I am used his services.. he uses discord for communications with members. I used him for 3 months and lost 15k on a 100k account. It is pure gambling. There is no reason to be trading 0DTE with such a large portion of your portfolio(aka life savings). This is not the end of the world but whatever you do, DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT start putting in your pay checks or any amount less than 10k into your account with the thought of trading ODTE or any option contracts what so ever. You clearly do not have a strategy or reasoning behind your trades. Disable options on your account and only buy stocks you have done research on.

man i feel this in my bones. ODTE is basically a slot machine dressed up in a tie, and the platforms know it. they want you chasing that quick hit cause the commissions add up fast i had a similar spiral a couple years back, not quite the full year ban but i definitely took a break after torching a solid chunk of my account in one afternoon. what helped me was actually splitting my funds, i keep the serious trading money in a brokerage that's a pain to use and only do long dated stuff there. then i have a tiny separate account for the gambling itch, like a couple hundred bucks max. if i blow it up, i blow it up, and i can't touch the real stack fidelity's approach is quietly smart, that 5k barrier and extra approval step forces you to slow down for like 30 seconds which is sometimes all you need to snap out of it. shwabb should absolutely offer a self-exclude toggle, it's wild they don't when it's such a common request
So finally I can say I outperformed somebody here. See, I too hit $150,000 (USD), but in about a day (ODTE).....BUT I started with $500,000 (USD). We're literally not the same.

There are many brokers. Interactive Brokers is institutional level, complicated and a lot of noise. If you’re trading ODTE, execution on the chart with hotkeys is necessary. I would never scalp on sofi or robinhood.

Whenever I hear of 0DTE i think of SPX and XSP. I trade mainly trade SPX ODTE credit spreads with 50 delta to minimize risk and directionally. I use a strategy using RSI, BB and VWAP (using SPY as the benchmark for VWAP) and then I would either take a Put Credit Spread or a Call Credit Spread. I manage my risk by attaching a stop loss of 30% above my premium i receive. I only open a position once a day and I open into a position between 10:30am - 12PM. I typically do 1 to 5 contracts (depending on major catalysts). If I win, I close out my position. If I lose I close out my position. I am a beginner at this and have been trading options since last November. I experienced and learned a lot these past few months. I was doing 80 to 90 delta OTM credit spreads in January - Mid March and I was banking almost $2K - $5K a week. Like others have stated, 1 - 2 bad days in March wiped out my gains from the beginning of the year. Learned from that and never doing that again. I still do lose but i only lose a days worth of gains - when I lose, though, I feel like crap - no matter the $ amount. I don't gamble in the sense of going to a casino, but if anyone says they're not a gambler because of x, y and z, guess what? It's still gambling. To me, this is all gambling, but it's calculated. \*As I am typing this, I am wondering if I should do debit spreads instead of credit spreads using the same methodology? It's still a directional play. Any thoughts on this?
