I've had my eye on AudioEye (NASDAQ: AEYE) for a while now. It's a low-to-mid cap company (market cap around \~$150-200M depending on the day) specializing in automated web accessibility solutions. Basically, they help businesses make their websites compliant with ADA/WCAG standards so people with disabilities can actually use them – think screen readers, keyboard navigation, alt text, etc.Why I'm interested: * Strong regulatory drivers: In the US, ADA website lawsuits have been rampant for years, and enforcement keeps ramping up. In the EU, the European Accessibility Act (EAA) fully kicked in back in June 2025, mandating accessibility for a ton of digital services (e-commerce, banking, etc.). Non-compliance means fines, lawsuits, or even site shutdowns in some cases. This creates a massive tailwind for companies like AudioEye that offer automated fixes + expert support. * Solid traction already: They reported \~127,000 customers as of end-2024 (up significantly YoY), including some big names like Samsung, Calvin Klein (PVH), Samsonite, Tommy Hilfiger, and partnerships with platforms like CivicPlus and Finalsite. A lot of their growth comes from partners/resellers, which scales nicely. Revenue guidance for 2025 was \~18% growth, with improving margins and path to stronger profitability. * Potential catalyst: Right now, a lot of clients seem to be smaller/mid-sized or through channels. But with regulations tightening (especially EAA pushing EU expansion), I expect more enterprise-level wins and bigger brand announcements. If they start landing (or publicly highlighting) more Fortune 500-type clients, this could surge – the market for digital accessibility is still hugely underserved. The stock had a monster run in 2024 (up \~245% at one point) on partnerships, an acquisition, and revenue beats, but pulled back a bit late in the year. Analysts mostly have Strong Buy ratings with targets in the $30s (implying big upside from current levels). It's volatile as a smaller cap, but the fundamentals look good – recurring revenue, high gross margins, and a market that's only getting more mandatory.

Sold PYPL - they don’t seem to be going anywhere. And: as a consumer, their product still sucks. Sold PVH - no moat (while i.e. TPR doing real well: pricing power). Hanging on to everything else (very diversified, large portfolio). NVDA, AMD, MU - still a keeper. Underlying trends still going on, strong execution, good financials. Only reason I sell is those companies that have no moat or execution issues. Still debating over ADBE (their financial trend looks good - the lackluster performance this year I think is attributed to AI scare if they are able to hold up. I believe they should be, human creativity can’t be replaced by AI)

PVH worth a look here for a trade. Earnings seem completely unaffected by tariffs. Huge insider buying, extremely low valuation, debt is OK, trading at discount to book. The huge issue is it's blacklisted by China, but this is obviously priced in and earnings has not been affected at all, and, 2026 potential trade normality can normalize PVH too, potential for over 60% gains in a year.

The tariffs imposed by China are very limited in nature and easy to avoid. US LNG will just redirect somewhere else, no problem. They are mostly self-sufficient on coal / have imports from Russia/Australia. They sanctioned a few tiny companies like PVH (<$5B market cap), and also Illumina ($20B market cap). They said they'd investigate Google for anti-trust, but most of Google's products are banned in China anyway so I don't see the relevance.

With these brands, it is more about brand strength than guidance or revenue. LULU, PVH and RL all gave weak guidance. Same with VFC. The main factor is that most retail are losing their Asian market. However, the reaction was not down to guidance. It was mainly down to the brand strength and how much the executives of these companies are roaming in the MM circles.

r/wallstreetbetsSee Comment

I hear you. PVH also did build during the Q vs. LULU which hit a major drop on the CPO leaving, so even if they hit this quarter, investors may be shy if they dont settle understanding long term product vision. it looks like PVH also gave poor guidance for Q2 so that may factor into it. it's all a crap shoot.

PVH had a bad reaction after earnings today. Did the same last earnings call, too. LULU followed a similar trend. RL went a very different route to LULU and PVH in the earnings call. It is difficult to call how the market will react to retail nowadays.

Some Earning calls this week: LULU; HPE; BBWI; PVH; BF.B; DLTR; FAA; LULU and BF.B are overvalued (fundamental) on current data, but LULU has extreme good financials (Nvidia light). If you believe in their business go for it. I go for FOMO WSB YOLO reasons. BF.B is has extrem high volume, so something is up. They price crashed but RSI is not oversold. Insiders hold the stock and no one plays puts on it. So maybe time to buy the dip. DLTR, FAA, HPE, BBWI are undervalued (fundamental) so any non bad news will boost their value simply by increasing data quality and not being bad news. PVH: I wear their underwear and girls liked it. Good reasons for being bullish. Apparel brands are still on the comeback from corona times. So you should buy puts on all of these as I am here for a reason. Anyone has a good stock screener that covers Europe? (Finviz only covers US listed stocks).

r/wallstreetbetsSee Comment

There are a lot of contradictory market reactions to the softer guidance provided by so many retail companies in the last 4-5 months. PVH, LULU fell, but RL rose. So will be interesting how this plays out. LULU has got most of the bad news out with their CPO leaving, so let's see how this plays out. If PVH does well on Tuesday, then LULU might get a similar reaction.

This is a UBS analyst remarks, in case anyone wants to read but gets paywalled. This guy always marginally increases his PT on RL before earnings calls. I think he pointed out correctly that Q1 (calendar quarter april through June) may disappoint, and April sales were weak across the industry. A lot of that data will go into the earnings call. What will be understated would be the impact of a big miss on top line and bottom line for fiscal year Q4 (which is calendar quarter Jan through March) we expect to be way low, if following the trend of PVH, HUGO, LULU. I also think this analyst isn't considering macro and greater china issues. I thinks pump-sell-off intraday holding pattern is there for a reason. Shareholders aren't buying in anticipation of the earnings call. When volume comes, it is to sell (see the technical chart I shared in another post today). Therefore, I think it's fair to assume that a bad miss + bad guidance is exactly what the market is anticipating (hence the existing holding pattern), and on confirmation of a bad earnings, the selloff should occur. See below for article. Ralph Lauren's Transformation Seen Spurring Upside EPS Surprises, UBS Says15:15:33 PM ET, 05/16/2024 - MT Newswires 03:15 PM EDT, 05/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ralph Lauren's (RL) transformation "will lead to upside EPS surprises and drive stock price appreciation" in the next 12 months, UBS Securities said Thursday in an earnings preview. The company reduced exposure to weak accounts and brand dilutive channels, spurring prospects to drive more revenue in direct online and store channels, UBS said. Direct-to-consumer business may increase to 75% of the company's total in five years versus 59% before the pandemic, the report said. UBS raised the price target on Ralph Lauren to $250 from $244 and reiterated its buy rating. Fiscal Q4 results are due May 23. The quarterly earnings probably won't be a "big catalyst," while a weaker-than-anticipated fiscal Q1 outlook due to a slow April might hurt investor sentiment, UBS said. "Options market pricing implies Ralph Lauren could move 8.3% in either direction over the event compared to its average 6.2% earnings day move," UBS said. Sentiment seems bullish because the company is favored by investors and its price-to-earnings ratio is higher than both its five-year average and industry average, UBS said. Ralph Lauren's stock has dropped versus S&P 500 recently amid concerns with prospects for a soft April performance, UBS said. UBS still raised annual EPS estimates through fiscal year 2027, partly because of web traffic growth in the US and internationally. Ralph Lauren shares fell 0.8% in recent trading Thursday. DKS -calls Ulta - calls PVH - Puts Last earnings season. There were other smaller plays that lost as well

Anyone have suggestions for a couple of good stocks outside of tech to ride out the next year or two? I think I’m currently too tech heavy—MSFT, GOOG, TSM, ZS, and (tech heavy) SPY. Only have PFE (healthcare) and PVH (retail apparel) outside of tech. I want to avoid energy except maybe wind. I keep seeing that financial sector has lots of potential but difficult to assess which positions might be best there.

r/wallstreetbetsSee Comment

If you look around you will find quite a few stocks like this. They always say it’s double counting shorts as longs multiple times and it’s just a glitch but who knows. ANF, ELF, PVH just a few

Mentions:#ANF#ELF#PVH
r/wallstreetbetsSee Comment

Yeah, not looking at it as a play, but a data point to your DD. If ANF can buck the trend and not fall victim like PVH, that could be a counter to your DD.

Mentions:#DD#ANF#PVH
r/wallstreetbetsSee Comment

Your DD seems pretty solid. Mid-high consumer discretionary spending is looking hella weak. ULTA is down 20%. I sold my ULTA PUTS last week for 300% gain. It'd be 400% if I had held till now but it's never possible to call a stock's bottom. My think ULTA will go under $400 post its earnings but I decided to put the money into RL PUTS instead. Yeah, I know ULTA is makeup and beauty but the consumer spending is the same. Looking at RH (Restoration Hardware), it spiked on earnings but has lost 30% the following three weeks. RH doesn't sell clothing but RL does sell home furnishings. You already mentioned PVH and LULU and I see KER has already been discussed. RL PUTS has a good chance of success so I'm in.

r/wallstreetbetsSee Comment

Yeah, a few points; https://chainstoreage.com/news-briefs/2024-04-12?article=mastercard-spendingpulse-march-retail-sales-rise-across-channels This is the article with the relevant data that I'm assuming OC was talking about. 1. According to Mastercard SpendingPulse, which measures in-store and online retail sales across all forms of payment, total U.S. retail sales (excluding automotive) were up YoY in March 2024, showing showing continued growth for both online (+6.1%) and in-store (+2.6%) retail sales. Notably, it's not adjusted for inflation (noted at the bottom of the article). Which means, when you factor in CPI inflation, it's actually down in real terms. 2. Home furnishings and furniture is down -8.3% YoY, of which RL has a sizable portfolio of home decor in their portfolio. This is a trend we've seen after COVID, where COVID spurred a lot of home improvement, furniture, furnishings, and now it's declined. 3. The article does note an increase in apparel spending, but my optimism allows me to assume that it could be outside of the RL semi-luxury tier. LULU and PVH re-affirms my thesis that this semi-luxury (below Gucci, Versace, Balenciaga, etc.) is going to face a poor year. So it's not enough to really shake me. Plus the reality is it would just reduce the likelihood of a pre-announcement revising earnings and guidance down (which I anticipate **could** happen next week, though it's still not super likely), as well as potentially (in the worst case scenario) allow RL to have a great earnings report and guidance. However, in the nearer term, I do think that the low volume exhibited by the stock, the resistance at this current \~159-162 range, and the gap **will** fill if there's any other bearish catalyst (continued strong inflation data, the April/May FOMC meeting, a retaliatory attack from Israel, or some random black swan like a bank failure due to sustained high interest rates & high treasury yields).

r/wallstreetbetsSee Comment

It still lost 20% since PVH and LULU gave shit guidance ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ almost as if consumer discretionary is cyclical and institutional money is rotating out.

I most certainly wouldn't consider myself 'more experienced', but I spent 2021 to around late 2023 down quite a bit on a lot of picks of mine. In time you learn to cut the losers - it can be easy to get attached and hold on too long, but learning to let go really is an important skill. Looking at your list there I think MSFT TSM and PFE are good holds (I hold MSFT myself , have been contemplating buying some PFE, and *should have* bought TSM back in 2021), and PVH it could go either way. NOVA is definitely going to be your biggest troublemaker. Renewables, electric cars, anything of that sort... just isn't ready. Either that, or knowing which one will succeed is like shaking a magic eight ball - while NOVA may be your biggest holding one day, it will probably also be the one you're going to be down the most on for the longest period of time. (From my experience.) TL;DR: just be vigilant and try not to get attached to whatever is killing you.

I have 225k in TTTXX (treasuries only fund) and long term safe places plus 30k in cash. I then have about 70k in Robinhood just to play around shorter term with individual stocks. I started that about a week ago…bad timing I guess. I have 20k in SPY, and 10k each in: -PVH -PFE -MSFT -TSM -NOVA Everything is down. NOVA is way down. The first several days I kinda freaked out at every rise and fall. Now I’m thinking to just stop worrying so much and just stick with these and ride the rises and falls for a while. This is my “play” money and part of my mindset is I want to invest in companies I believe in (hence NOVA for solar, TSM to support my former home Taiwan, and not investing in tobacco, fossil fuels for example) but I still want to gain and hopefully beat the market. I feel like despite being a novice I researched these stocks pretty decently and feel like they have good prospects. But the pain from NOVA especially has me questioning my life choices a bit. Any tips from the more experienced among you?

sir, you are late to the party you had a chance to buy at $60, $80, $100, shit even at $120 you could have ridden up to $140 ANF is not CHEAP. Look at what is going on with other retailers ULTA, ELF, LULU, PVH, NKE, etc they are ALL warning about shit sales and guiding down rest of the year. ANF almost went BK and then pivoted to not shit clothes with douche models. and some algo got ahold of it and squeezed shorts ANF is on a ticking time clock and will dump hard and fast. at around $50 a share it was on the expensive end. but there is no fucking way better managed companies like ULTA and LULU get hit hard and fast with retracting sales AND THEY HAVE CULT LIKE KAREN FOLLOWING and some douchebag company like ANF continues to grow retail sales have been in the shitter and they were riding a semi decent q4 .. but their next earnings are going to be utter shit and it will tank 20-30%

I still think RL is trading 18% higher than it should. I have an end-of-May (includes Earnings) PT of $140. So… yeh. Despite the sell-off today, volume on RL was still quite low. But I suspect when CPI comes in, institutions will start rotating out of consumer discretionary (luxury), esp with semi-luxury getting killed (PVH, LULU, etc). I really think RL’s current price is just because no one really cares enough to dump it yet. But it’ll drop next Weds if CPI data is bad, which it should be.

Regarding PVH: Why does the share price not being $400-500 matter? Knowing that LULU did so poorly and it’s supremely desirable mass appeal, what in depth research did you do that suggested brands such as Calvin Klein, and Tommy Hilfiger? Did you notice MACY results and guidance? Was it because RL and GPS did well? Without an obviously clear outlook, why make such a heavy 30% of total (original) portfolio bet on short term calls on ER?

Have you been listening to earning calls across the industry? All of them are low key saying we got serious headwinds ahead of us and are tightening our supply chain logistics and reducing inventory to prepare. Nike and LULU most recently. PVH was for sure a puts play which has dragged the entire industry down in sympathy today. LEVI is reporting tomorrow AH. Listening to their q4 earning call, they reference these “headwinds” and also commented on wholesale numbers being down because raising outdoor temps = nobody wants denim in the summer. IMO, all clothing related companies this year are going to get rekt. I recommend reading previous quarter earnings transcripts to get an idea of guidance direction and plan accordingly with options.

I’m sure you know this but the price of a share doesn’t really matter. You mention Lulu trading in the $400-500 range being a factor in why you thought PVH would fare better. But the actual outlay-per-share should not be a factor. MCD trades for 1/10th per share what CMG trades for - one of them is perceived as having nothing but glory in their future and the other, well, they charge $12 for some greasy fries. I exaggerate just to mark the point - the price of a share is irrelevant.

The company isn’t shit and they have an initiative to reduce costs via the PVH+ plan as well as a billion in stock buy back. They recently announced dividends. They seemed to be on a positive growth trajectory and beat their Q4 earnings growing revenue and earnings per share. I don’t know why companies give forecasts for future earnings when it hasn’t even happened yet. It’s just asking to fuck their share holders.
