IMO, if you tag it as GPT, it's fine. If you try to pass it off as original content and it's a GPT post, it's against this rule: https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/wiki/expanded_rules#wiki_rule_9_-_suitable_titles_and_flairs *5. Use accurate and appropriate link-flairs. Misuse of link-flairs might result in post removal.* Should be codified into the rules somehow but obviously AI content is not OC.

Because they are fool or maybe OC is just bluffing there.
the problem is you expect OC on Twitter ;)
Check back later to see what other *The OC* former stars like Rachel Bilson, Adam Brody and Mischa Barton have to say too!
He must have bought bitconnect with his OC money.
“My kids were really into the OC. See if we can buy one of them to spread my anti-freedom message.” Hilariously the other main actor is in a terrible series about cryptocurrency.
What the fuck has matey from The OC (Ben McKenzie) got to do with bitcoin and why are people listening to him? https://twitter.com/SenTinaSmith/status/1603399712136171520?s=20&t=udBt3eCWSNJXxkzuOB2qfg
Dude, that does not add value at all to his question. OC, (if that’s a term lol) I’m sorry, I am not sure. I am sure there is a bridge or some thing, but I have never used optimism.
please share anything else you have on this. It rings true. I didn't watch OC so never heard of this guy, but suspect you perceive things correctly.
Ben Mackenzie? I'd never heard of him but apparently he has a lot of credibility because not only was he on The OC (which I've never seen) but he has a bachelors in economics!! we live in interesting times. bow to your AI overlord! oh... interesting side note... I was a child actor and the first ad I ever did was for fisher price!! lol
have you seen the interviews with the actor from the OC? lol.... it's all so unbelievably transparent to anyone without the matrix wool over their eyes. the shit is crumbling hard.
In an alt universe where Gordon was raised as a dumb surfer guy from the OC.
Another celebrity weighs in :) Do any of you guys know what was going on in the last season of the OC? I don't think the writers even knew what it was about.
I guess if you wanna be invited to speak to the Banking Committee you must have: undergrad degree in econ, friends interested in crypto, a major role in the show “The OC”
I just tuned in, is that the dude from the OC? Gordon from Gotham
Why blow money on a prefab monkey avatar when for a fraction of the price you can get your favorite artist to draw your OC getting soft dommed by the bunny chick from MHA?
so you are just here to troll the sub? obviously not a regular r/cc participant since you used the OC tag that nobody here uses
I'm sorry, this is not OC. Everyone is saying that
Any OC in this sub is downvoted to oblivion to ensure all the established cc users earn the most moons. New users will never make it to the top because of the collusion between moon farmers. This system is rigged.
Then your point made no sense compared to what i was asking. And no, some validators agree to be OFAC compliant because they are under that jurisdiction. Decentralization simply means that some of the validators would not be affected by OFAC compliance, and some might decide to operate even under compliance. The compliance in the case mentioned by OC is also due to MEV relays that has OFAC compliance, but does not mean they have to be always compliant. When an OFAC blacklisted transaction comes in with enough fee, it will get processed. Ethereum is also moving towards making the contents of block production uncensorable in the future, but I am also critical on when they will achieve that. Are you saying that validators cannot do what they want/have to do? It's a fucking decentralized and permissionless protocol, why are you dictating when validators want to be or dont want to be OFAC compliant? Home stakers in the US who wants to participate in the network probably has to do this for their own sake. Usually the easiest answer doesn't mean it is correct.

It’s just my working abbrev. Have never come across any evidence there is a ‘United Nations’ of IOC, a formalised body of any kind, but there are numerous examples of informal yet close co operation between OC in one country and OC in another. I guess Tether’s magic is uniting the need to Lauder cash with the discretion to keep everybody’s secrets…
This comment never gets old, not the first time I saw it, or the second or the 74th and it's still not old the 759th time. I really mean it, great comment. Good job. Keep up the OC...

Don't you know? Unless they had multiple people typing on the same keyboard at the same time to reroute the OC3 optical lines over the MD5, it's not technically hacking 🤡 Exploiting loopholes and oversights is totally hacking, people just get upset when they find out some hacks are easier than others.
BTC between 19-20K
I posted this a while back but it got ripped down my automod so many times. It's my OC - for what it's worth lol.
I also started mining around that time. I'd already finished college, and purchased a GeForce 8800 GT OC as a graduation gift for myself (mostly for Crysis 1). Also had an AMD Opteron that I OC'd about 50%. Can't remember the model, but it was for the 939 socket. I'd seen some folks talking BTC mining on 4chan. The concept was super interesting to me ( I was a math and econ nerd in college, so right up my alley). Mined for a while purely as a hobby, and got pretty decent bag. I ended up upgrading to one of the new Intel Core chips, and reformatted my hard drive containing the BTC wallet when I clean installed the OS. I wasn't even thinking about the wallet tbh, as I had stopped mining months before the upgrade. I was just excited about my new gaming hardware. RIP
im confused, so we're allowed to post memes? this is just OC long meme
you can get paid in BTC mining some other coins on nicehash. 3080 I know from experience will heat your room OK. 250W constant really adds up. Stack with 150W 1070 and instead of 3050ti laptop, crank up that CPU on your tower. I game with OC 11900k on a water block with 300W 3080 gaming mode and I can feel my room getting hot in winter with windows closed.
Right but the OC said that Reddit states it has no monetary value, and that using those moons to buy something of value outside of Reddit (I.e - exchanging it for Bitcoin for example) would be a breach of the terms. What happens then? Am I just dense?
These gonna be sold as “slightly used for gaming only, no OC, kept cool, used for 2 days”
Tell me you're not poor without telling me you're poor. Your post after post is focused on a few things: 1. Trying to spend as little as possible for real estate. The reality is good real estate costs money. You want a view of Hyde Park or Central Park? That's gonna cost you 8 figures because it's fucking beautiful. You want to live on a cliff in front of the Mediterranean? That's going to cost you a ton. You want lakefront at Lake Tahoe? 8 digits. Rich people shell out for these properties and understand the value behind them. Trying to get dirt cheap property isn't the goal. People want a place they love that's comfortable and luxurious. Rich people aren't trying to save every dime and nickel on a place they love. Now granted people want value, but the kind of value you talk about makes it sound like you have no money. 2. You mentioned crypto nomads as if that's your definition of being rich. Most of these people are individuals who were worth nothing and got rich through luck and nothing else. A lot of them have next to no life skills--no different from trust fund inheritance kids--versus self made people. I actually think the vast majority aren't even that rich. $1-2 million isn't a whole lot of money in a G7 country--you have to live frugally to retire with. This is almost always why their stories focus on frugal retirement (known as leanFIRE) and living in low cost of living places. I pointed to /r/fatfire. Most people here are successful from being Type A people who worked fucking hard and granted many of them got lucky too with startup exits, buyouts, IPO lottery, etc. These aren't poor college students who went from nothing to something at the age of 22 and is trying to figure out life. Look at where people are living and traveling. It's not trying to find some dirt cheap way of retiring at 22 spending as little as possible. Back to the original point though. A third world country is a shitty place to be in. I'm not trying to insult the people who live there, but the reality is life is tough. Clean water, reliable food, health, safety/security, quality of life are ALL an issue. If you are instead referring to LCOL countries like Thailand, Panama, etc that's a different story. Also St Lucia is really more about a tax haven more than a permanent base. Wealthy people who park assets in these Carribean islands still most definitely fly to US/EU for world class restaurants, vacations, medical treatment, etc. Bottom line is the original comment was about hyping up living in a 3rd world country like Afghanistan--sorry, that's just dumb. With all the problems the US has, it's still a far better place to be in than a third world country. >And yes by classic definition third world countries included Indonesia, Costa Rica and Panama as well. No. The classic definition of third world is regarding international politics and whether countries are aligned with US/NATO or Soviet Union/Warsaw Pact. However, that's not what's driving taxation. Since the end of the Cold War, third world has evolved more to mean "developing" or "least developed" country. Today, it is generally used to refer to least developed countries, and from the discussion of taxation that makes sense... OC was likely saying that because their country is so undeveloped, there isn't even infrastructure to track down your crypto transactions to tax you.
For a while, I thought he was the guys from "Selling Sunset" and "Selling the OC"
Because people gave up on OC, seeing how those comment sections are fucking empty or filled with comments talking about whatever. The other day I made a post about DeFi ETF-like products, got two bot comments saying nonsense, a guy saying Tokensets are complicated and that this stops adoption (While ETFs are already a thing that people already use), two guys who asked me for info like I was this protocol's employee or whatever...so yeah, this sub got the content quality the majority of it's users deserve. They are the reason mindlessly farming moons exists.

If it stops working for any reason of no fault of your own I would happily refund the cost. I know the cards I have, have spent their life running gently and steadily at 50C instead of running at 70C+ on and off causing thermal stress from people trying to play games at 140fps 4k etc... On top of this I have cleaned each card every week, repasted them every few months and monitored them to never run hotter than 60C ever. They have also been underclocked within an inch of their operating allowance so you can be certain none of the parts have degraded as much as a gaming counter part. But like I said if you find a mined card for sale ask questions. The owner more than likely has the OC settings they used stored or a screenshot at least showing the temps, voltage and speeds they ran at. This will help you make an informed choice.
miners tend to underclock them to safe power and chips don't age with usage. only the fans do. It's the gamers that don't take care and OC the cards to the limit I would be much more wary of buying used.
It's so good to see that you are so good at it if this is an OC post, but I guess people are creative outside too, so give the credits if you haven't given it yet mate.
Starts with "Failed presidential and New York mayoral..." and keeps a cynical and diminishing approach to Yang overall. I skim through the article and just saw the intention was mostly to take OC jabs at Yang. Knowing his tone is derogatory, I can't take whatever else there is seriously because there's a blatant bias. Also, "Web3 distracts from... more freedom and democracy". On top of an agenda, he's also misinformed. Kyle Barr is not worthy of a read. Giving crypto is not new to catch interest and incentivise learning to accelerate adoption. He might be just trying to copy ideas from the crypto communities... maybe not entirely thought through, but what politician stops to think in depth.
>You can get an RTX 3080 10GB OC on amazon for $729.99 hell, even the 6900XT is 729.99$ on Amazon right now! absolutely crazy!
You can buy one on BestBuy right now for $400.00. You can get a 10GB OC 3080 on amazon for $729.99 right now.
Jackie Brown is a solid movie. You could’ve done worse, to be honest. Like season 2 of The OC or something. CALIFORNIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
As per my experience… making OC you can get heavily downvoted… links don’t get downvoted… who indeed downvotes a news? Limiting the links should push people to make more quality posts. And mainly reduce the spam
OC you just financially ruined me. My lawyers will see you soon.
Mining is practically dead. Only worth it where energy is super cheap (less than 7cts per kW). There is maintenance to do, it occupies space, there is noise, there is heat (in winter/cold places it is actually an extra benefit that makes sense). I’ve mined from 2017 to 2020: worst investment ever. If I’ve straight up bought the coin directly and hold it would’ve been so much better profit wise and without any hassle, which I had a ton: made rigs with 13 gpu, software updates, installing electric brakes, remote access and rebooting, picking the right pool, right OC settings, drivers and bla bla. ASIC not only ruins the mining market, but the manufacturers shadow mine with new hardware for 6-12 months before selling you used hardware (there is proof for innosilicon doing it and it is almost certainty all the others have been doing it). #Staking is the way
There is a rough guild that could help someone get am idea on the amount of hashrate and therefore profitablity and all coins, but it doesn't take into account OC settings etc. As for the laptop, it all comes down to the compute requirements of the algorithm.
I have used Sync for years and it works really well with dual screen or foldable phones. How many did OC have?
OC is mad his stupid pfp is boring
Rule 7 of this sub. The problem is that you marked it as "OC" and didn't even mention the tools you used. If you had credited him, I wouldn't be complaining.
>Couple 🤡 here are trying to replicate your experiment Whoa, thanks for the heads up, I hadn't seen their posts! They better not be using the OC flair, grrrrrr...
On the internet, you can roleplay as anything. Your avatar can be an anime character, a furry character, your name-the-hedgehog OC, you can pretend to be girl, you can pretend to be a chad, you can pretend to be an alien, a robot, or a time traveler coming from the future, you can even pretend to be a human being, because on the internet, nobody knows you're a dog. Zuck: \*uses a perfect image of himself as online avatar, down to the soulless, robotic eyes.\* Why would anyone use this...
Depends how much of a gambler OC is. Keeping some to risk on micro caps can always be a good idea

> you're likely misinterpreting his comment intentionally, but when someone says "name a single common item", they're actually saying EVERYTHING is up, not a literal single item. You're intentionally leaving the second part out: >Name a single common item that is **only up 8.5% from a year ago** No where did I or the OC deny that many things are up, but the comment is so asinine because it basically misunderstands a basic concept which is an average, meaning some things rise faster, some things rise less. However what's worse is OC seems to not believe inflation is at 8.5%. Why? Because they're likely trying to find a few typical common items that have risen higher than 8.5%. That does nothing to disprove that inflation being 8.5% As I said earlier, the detailed breakdown of price changes for every category is listed [here](https://www.bls.gov/news.release/cpi.t02.htm). It's not hard to see somethings rise and other things don't rise as much, and surprisingly a few items DO fall. The point isn't how individual items rise or fall. CPI is meant to be an average, to represent what an AVERAGE family might see. >**The CPI does not necessarily measure your own experience with price change.** It is important to understand that BLS bases the market baskets and pricing procedures for the CPI-U and CPI-W populations on the experience of the relevant average household, not of any specific family or individual. For example, if you spend a larger-than-average share of your budget on medical expenses, and medical care costs are increasing more rapidly than the cost of other items in the CPI market basket, your personal rate of inflation may exceed the increase in the CPI. Conversely, if you heat your home with solar energy, and fuel prices are rising more rapidly than other items, you may experience less inflation than the general population does. **A national average reflects millions of individual price experiences; it seldom mirrors a particular consumer's experience.**
Oh I hear ya and tbh not many would do as I suggested is possible, bc of the intimidation factor you mentioned. I mentioned that in my OC...going home with threats. Hey man, I'm just glad you got out but odd you're buddy did time and your probation was admittedly cut extremely short. And another thing, that specific market is probably what got you fucked up. It is a second generation title, meaning the original was busted....seems a bit fishy it's up and running again by "someone different". Just my 2¢ on it all friend. I wish you and yours well. 🕉️

Oh I’m in the US. The gaming computer was prebuilt and came with a 2060 Super OC all for 800. And I live in Iowa, so our home prices are about the lowest in the nation. I got a two story, three bedroom house that needs some renovations for 65,000. And bought a lightly used car.

Honestly anyone who worked in any kind of supply chain dealing with Asia noticed that Shanghai's lockdowns messed up a lot of stuff. OC, like many posters here have no idea what they're talking about and once again demonstrates a lot of people have no clue about the rest of the world. I have friends and colleagues in Shanghai.
No offense but OC works in a factory, likely in a job that can be easily replaced. I hate to say it but blue collar labor is really on the verge of being extinct. It sucks to hear but how many parents have been raising their kids to be factory workers in the last 20 years?

Thanks for the tip! Had gotten bear spray so I could get them from enough distance away to not let them get to close with clear eyes. Will order some OC spray to have in the trunk too
I too am lucky, but much later than you and hence not retiring today haha. From late 2017 to mid 2022, I invested a fair bit of fiat, made literally thousands of trades on countless sketchy or degen platforms with countless shitcoins, spent ludicrous money on gas and other fees. Eventually, I learned that there is no get rich quick, at least for me. Despite those losses, I also gifted >3% of my Bitcoin to a disable friend in need. Today, my crypto portfolio is more stable at ~75% BTC, with the rest in one high-cap project I believe in very long term (not ETH), with a total portfolio valued in Bitcoin at about 90% of where I would have been had I just DCAed the same investment into BTC over the same period and just held (and not gifted any). OC I do not regret the gift. Still hoping to get back to 100% of my Bitcoin position, with appreciation in my one and only remaining alt coin. But it will be a slow grind as it is long term patient play, and my core Bitcoin position will not be compromised again, Better to play the long game.
Thanks for that. It sounds like you're ready for anything. Just an aside, I'd go with OC spray instead of bear spray. Bear spray is actually regulated by EPA. OC spray is generally more potent. But anyway, I chuckled. Thanks.
lol, OC got deleted. Care for a recap?
