Id developed an Excel-based tool that parses HTML code and extracts data from financial websites such as Boursorama, Yahoo Finance, and Quantalys. I deliberately selected websites that do not require a license, using only data that is publicly available through their user interfaces. (My banks’ digital platforms provide extremely poor information—what a shame.) I also built graphical alerts, including trend color-coding, cross-portfolio allocation by asset or region, and detailed performance reports. I can calculate a true Total Return Index (TRI) that includes dividends and fees—unlike the biased and incomplete statistics provided by my banks. This approach allows me to consolidate all my positions across multiple banks in one place, using a single, customized dashboard. (IT Director international private bank here)
What about $TRI? Been taking a shit recently and 71% owned by a family.

I haven’t bought any in years but, again, it’s just stuff that I had been buying on repeat in my taxable account on and off from 2002-2014 ~. WMT, BRK-B, AMZN, DAL, AXON, GS, KO, CRM, TRI, GOOG, C, CAT.
Anyone catching the TRI falling knife
Did you read the post ? They are saying it like it's Reuters news, which is TRI. TRI did not recieve the money. Thomson Reuters Special Services and Thomson Reuters news are separate divisions that are both owned by Thomson Reuters Corp. TRI stock dropped, but they didn't receive any money. Idk what Thomson Reuters Special Services did what the money, or if Elons is right. And I honestly, I don't care, I just want the truth to be told. Elon put out misleading info and never retracted it.
I know the TRI’s business but not so much on its current situation. Just reading your summary, I won’t mind buying it if it drop further.
We know Hitler like Putin like Trump use "us vs them" and in the case of Hitler and Putin they are the aggressors. Both egos think they should control "THE TRI STATE AREA" (is a funny Phineas and Ferb reference). Your Bandera sounds like a Ukraine general does what generals do in war. Take land, hold land. War is stupid. Hitler mobilized and crossed borders. Putin mobilized and crossed borders. Simple as that. I know I'm blessed with ignorance, I don't see why Russia needs to cross its borders and occupy other territory. Other than wanting Ukraine Oil & Gas. Or Putin's ego / need to appear "strong" to hold power. Don't want civilians sober looking at the pointless-ness of expanding territory.
Throwing it out there, TRI. Legal software company, clear duopoly in that field, but their product tends to be more favored on the legal side. Plus, Westlaw is incredibly sticky for lawyers and the cost can be written off on billables, so I don't see firms moving away from Westlaw.
Sorry I only pay attention to quad-star doji. TRI star doji just doesn't hit quite the same anymore.
Generative AI is making its way to many industries. I have already seen legal tech with it. Thomson Reuters (TRI) bought co counsel from case text for nearly a billion dollars. I can see AI becoming a multi-trillion dollar industry within next several years encompassing everything from client-side to in-house. If you want to be more conservative and have your exposure limited to broad scale market ETFs like VTI, that’s fine.
My biggest holding is TRI (Thomson Reuters) and I've never seen it mentioned on this subreddit. Had a 136% return over the last 5 years. Lots of investment into practical B2B AI/machine learning applications in legal/tax/accounting spaces.
They are also running top tier research at TRI with MIT/Berkley/Stanford in Machine Learning, Robotics, and Materials.

So they know exactly how to approach this case to win. Can we buy stock in the law firms lol. After I typed that I had to look it up ok I had Bing copilot look it up. Now I'm wondering who's going to be the first publicly traded law firm, I wonder if this will be a future move to make more money for them. Anyway bing results below. Results from Bing AI Certainly! While law firms are typically private entities, there are a few publicly traded companies related to legal services. These companies may not be traditional law firms but operate within the legal industry. Here are some examples: CRA International, Inc. (CRAI): Provides consulting services, including legal and economic analysis. AppFolio, Inc. (APPF): Offers cloud-based software solutions for legal professionals. Cogent Communications Group, Inc. (CCOI): Provides internet services, including legal firms as clients. Esquire Financial Holdings, Inc. (ESQ): A financial institution serving law firms and attorneys. Thomson Reuters Corp (TRI): Although not exclusively a law firm, it provides legal research and information services. Please note that these companies may not be traditional law firms, but they operate in the legal sector. Traditional law firms tend to remain private due to their unique ownership structure and the distribution of profits among partners
Personally TRI, or LSEG is interesting too. There is never a shortage of lawsuits, the world runs on news and aggregate data, and companies require tools to improve efficiency. Since I work in legal, Westlaw or Lexis tends to be sticky once you use them. Also, firms just bill back clicks to client's pocket anyway (it's per click for some clients, think about how costly that is.) All big law firms always have Westlaw, Nexis and/ or Bloomberg. You don't need it, but the clients are paying for it. Also, for what it's worth they're developing an "AI" tool (lol), but also in tax and financing (but unfamiliar to what capacity since it's not my tools.)
Not really, my problem is how much more it can grow.... At 420 with 3.1 TRI value... I would rather invest in a small cap and try my luck, and that's what I do..but haven't hit the jackpot....lol (thank you PSNY, RIVN and PLUG 🤣).
I'm just going to throw in another one. Thomson Reuters/ TRI has been doing great for me so far. Not really mentioned much around here.

Dick Cheney? Is that you? Here’s a truncated rundown of the shit Haliburton is known for. From [Wikipedia](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halliburton) (click the link if you wish to see any source refs): Iraq War Halliburton has become the object of several controversies involving the Iraq War and the company's ties to former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney. Cheney retired from the company during the 2000 U.S. presidential election campaign with a severance package worth $36 million.[52] As of 2004, he had received $398,548 in deferred compensation from Halliburton while Vice President.[53] Cheney was chairman and CEO of Halliburton Company from 1995 to 2000 and has received stock options from Halliburton.[54] In the run-up to the Iraq War, Halliburton was awarded a $7 billion contract for which only Halliburton was allowed to bid.[55] Bunnatine Greenhouse, a civil servant with 20 years of contracting experience, had complained to Army officials on numerous occasions that Halliburton had been unlawfully receiving special treatment for work in Iraq, Kuwait and the Balkans. Criminal investigations were opened by the U.S. Justice Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Pentagon's inspector general. These investigations found no wrongdoing within the contract award and execution process.[citation needed] In one of Greenhouse's claims, she said that military auditors caught Halliburton overcharging the Pentagon for fuel deliveries into Iraq. She also complained that Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld's office took control of every aspect of Halliburton's $7 billion Iraqi oil/infrastructure contract. Greenhouse was later demoted for poor performance in her position.[56] Greenhouse's attorney, Michael Kohn portrayed her performance reviews as punishment for criticizing the administrations, he stated in The New York Times that "she is being demoted because of her strict adherence to procurement requirements and the Army's preference to sidestep them when it suits their needs."[57] Deepwater Horizon explosion An internal report released in 2010 by BP into the Deepwater Horizon explosion claimed that poor practices of Halliburton staff had contributed to the disaster. Investigations carried out by the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling found that Halliburton was jointly at fault along with BP and Transocean for the spill. The cement that Halliburton used was an unstable mixture, and eventually caused hydrocarbons to leak into the well, causing the explosion that started the crisis.[58] Halliburton pleaded guilty to destroying evidence after the April 2010 Deepwater Horizon disaster; the company destroyed computer simulations it performed in the months after the accident, simulations that contradicted Halliburton's claim that it was BP who had not followed Halliburton's advice. BP had employed Halliburton to oversee the process by which cement is used to seal casing in oil and gas wells, thereby preventing leaks. Government investigators had ordered companies involved in drilling the well to preserve all relevant evidence.[59] Allegations of corruption in Nigeria In early December 2010, the Nigerian government filed corruption charges against Cheney in connection with his role as the chief executive of Halliburton.[60][61] The case relates to an alleged $182 million contract involving a four-company joint venture to build a liquefied natural gas plant on Bonny Island in southern Nigeria.[62] Earlier in 2009, KBR, a former subsidiary of Halliburton, agreed to pay $402 million after admitting that it bribed Nigerian officials, and Halliburton paid $177 million to settle allegations by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission without admitting any wrongdoing.[63][64] In mid-December 2010, the case was settled when Nigeria agreed to drop the corruption charges against Cheney and Halliburton in exchange for a $250 million settlement.[63] According to Femi Babafemi, the spokesperson for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, the $250 million would include approximately $130 million frozen in a Swiss bank, and the rest would be paid as fines.[62] The Federal Contractor Misconduct Database details 10 instances of misconduct since 1995 under which Halliburton has agreed to pay settlements of $791 million.[65] A further 22 instances of misconduct relate to the company's former subsidiary KBR.[66] Environmental issues In 2002, Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) reports were completed to measure the amount of chemicals emitted from Halliburton's Harris County, Texas facility. The TRI is a publicly available EPA database that contains information on toxic chemical releases and waste management activities reported annually by certain industries as well as federal facilities. The facility had 230 TRI air releases in 2001 and 245 in 2002.[67] On June 7, 2006, Halliburton's Farmington, New Mexico facility created a toxic cloud that forced people to evacuate their homes.[68]

TRI. They used to own Refinitiv, sold it to LSE, and now will sell apart of their LSE holdings to Microsoft. Pretty solid because that means I don't expect LSE pricing to fall too much further, thus increasing capital going forward. Also has a moat on the legal market with hands in the tax, so hoping they continue doing well this year.
Calls on this guy ☝️ Arrival El TRI!!
So I think I already posted that I had cashed in RSUs from my job at the time. I cashed in just over 1 m and so after tax had 500 k sitting in my bank. It's money I never had so in theory it's money I wouldn't miss if the milk turned sour. I decided to take half of it and I bought 5 stocks after doing my research. I bought 50 k of each and convinced myself that if some went down the others would go up to offset the losses and hopefully it would all work out. If not, then I wouldn't lose the entire 250 k hopefully. I bought GSY, SHOP, TRI, BAM, ATD all for 50 k each company I still hold all five today. I bought back into GSY and SHOP very recently after the stock split announcement but at a much smaller level. 5O k are standard plays for me now and I have over 35 of them in my current portfolio.
TRI, big law firms will always use westlaw.

#LOCAL DIVE BAR HAS BEST WINGS IN THE TRI STATE AREA. its some kind of hot sauce honey mustard and butter combo but it fucking slaps
TRI. Sold off what is now rebranded as Refinitiv so they're sitting on quite some cash. At the same time, they have a moat on the legal feild, and seem to be investing in AI and other companies to strengthen their grip. They've done well for me so far, so hopefully more to come.
It's actually really grown on me and I pre-ordered one. It has a full one ton haul, and it's way more affordable than the competitors in the dual motor. TRI motor is out of reach for me price wise. That's the one to get if you're gonna pull a trailer unfortunately.
Have you ever heard of Cancer Alley in LA? Literally one DuPont and about 20 other chemical plants are actively putting carcinogens into the population and our government could care less. It’s the exact same here. If you are a Corp or an elite you can poison the well as much as you want. Source: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cancer_Alley In 2000, Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) data showed that Louisiana ranked second throughout the nation for total onsite releases, third for total releases within the state, and fourth for total on- and offsite releases. Louisiana, which has a population of 4,469,970 people, produced 9,416,598,055 pounds of waste in 2000. Seven of the ten plants in the state with the largest combined on- and offsite releases are located in Cancer Alley, and four of the ten plants with the largest onsite releases in the state are located there In 1969, DuPont opened a plant to manufacture the chemical chloroprene, the main ingredient in neoprene. The plant was sold in 2015[7] to Japanese chemical company Denka. The area immediately adjacent to the Denka/Dupont neoprene plant in St. John the Baptist Parish has been recognized by the EPA as having the likelihood of getting cancer from air pollution over 700 times the national average. Just because America wraps their shit in propaganda and PR don’t fall for it.

Ahh yes well how are AMC and GME business fundamentals? Call WISH a dollarstore - ok then call GME a failing retail chain - ok now let’s do AMC. How was their business model pre-pandemic. Ok now it’s at all time highs, ok now how is their business model? Atleast WISH has mega cash and growth potential in a huge sector WITH the potential for a short/gamma squeeze Keep your negativity out of here if you don’t believe - don’t invest. Just keep buying VRT*and TRI** since that seems to be all you think about lately other than trash talking other WSB forums 😋🥰
With this device, I will turn half of the people in the tri-state area into retards, rendering thier vocabulary to incomprehensible gibberish like "stonks" or "tendies." Amongst the confusion I will seize power and become the RULER OF THE TRI-STATE AREA!
So looking further into it, I don't think these are manufactured homes (but maybe I'm missing something obvious or misunderstanding manufactured meaning). Reading their website, they refer to themselves specifically as a homebuilder. They have residential neighborhoods of single family homes and they also have multi-family properties. Here is their pamphlet for investors that gives an overview of their business: [https://s27.q4cdn.com/951488432/files/doc\_downloads/2020/TRI-Pointe-Group-Investor-Brochure-2020.pdf](https://s27.q4cdn.com/951488432/files/doc_downloads/2020/TRI-Pointe-Group-Investor-Brochure-2020.pdf)
