They don't have to accomplish much militarily other than maintaining control of the strait. Countries already on the fence about alliances, like Pakistan and India, are more likely to ally with Iran quickly. This would undermine the U.S. petrodollar system and effectively destroy the United States economically. It's alienated all of its allies except for Israel so nobody will be coming to help. I don't think most people are even marginally in the realm of beginning to comprehend how bad the situation actually is, not just for the U.S. but for most of the planet. The U.S. just doesn't have the out of flipping to BRICS. Currently the U.S. seems to be preparing to take Kharg Island, presumably as an angle to control the strait. I can't find anyone with relevant military experience who has any opinion other than that it's an impossible suicide mission. There could always be tricks or surprises from anyone at any time that upset these predictions, but I struggle to see what could possibly happen short of unveiling some kind of alien UFO tech that would change the situation militarily.

Like if a hospital blew up cause of IDF bombings and a bunch of kids got blown to bits, they would use some bullshit vague wording like "Conflict results in damaged hospital in Gaza" or something. Well, the facts would read out as "IDF bombed a gaza hospital". I don't mean or want to politicize anything here. They also downplayed the UAP/UFO Pentagon footage releases even though they broke the story. I'm Canadian too, so I don't give a F- really about your politics unless it affects me or my portfolio.

My thoughts are as IPO gets closer more people will want to find cheap(er) proxies for exposure. You’ll have the bulls selling their RKLB and ASTS to have free cash for SpaceX IPO, but also a lot of shifting *into* RKLB and ASTS because they want to “invest in space” but they either A) think it’s too expensive at IPO valuation or B) don’t like Elon Musk but still want exposure to the sector’s potential
