I just can't believe we're here again. I've seen this so many times before. The spikes in popularity of UFO's/UAP's correspond directly to periods of major geopolitical tension, systemic distrust, and rapid technological transitions. The first spike was in the 50's when the Sovjet Union became the US' enemy #1, and the space race kicked off. Everyone was afraid of nuclear annihilation, and dreamed of friendly aliens that would stop the nuclear wars from happening. A new spike formed in the 90's when the cold war was over, and the US lost it's major rival. People's suspicions turned inwards, and the era of government conspiracies kicked off. The fear of nuclear war died down, but was taken over by the fear of the Internet, computers and the Millennium. The late 00's and early 10's were pretty quiet, before the spike again started in the late 10's with fear of AI, China as the new major rival, and space race 2.0. There might be other life forms out there somewhere, but there is no good evidence for any of them visiting us. There never has been.

Agreed on META, love CRWD, Long on NVDA and AMZN for reasons mentioned, a conglomerate. Some diversification would help soften any blows. It sucks to sell the ones that made you money but at least pare down a little in tech and just grab a few good names. I am long BTSG because of the aging population and also have some lower beta stuff but I’m 46 so where you’re at you have some wiggle room. Some ETF’s would be good to look at. Maybe ICOP, UFO for space exposure purposes but it also has some diversification into other industries. I really feel like its cybers turn to ramp up. With more good AI will bring advancement in criminal exploitation. CRWD huge moat, NET is cheap looking forward and if you like a few other names, Cybersecurity ETF. Depending on your feelings about crypto that’s also a space where it could potentially boom again. Just my opinion and good luck to you!

VOO is S&P500 US top 500 large caps VTI is US total market They are both broad market but VOO covers 500 stocks while VTI covers 3,500 stocks. I like the USA focus. VOO is a great core etf. It adds a lot of utility to keep your portfolio robust. SMH is a very impressive high volatility etf which is good if you have the iron stomach for it. It's a great for international stocks like TSM. ARKX/UFO are a very large chunk and I'm not seeing their future performance really justify their large position in your portfolio. You would be better off just buying a few shares of rocketlab. It would be nice to see some of the SMH fund going to QQQM or SPMO so you have layers to your AI sector exposure. Maybe even FLKR for south korea's samsung and sk hynix would be a nice compliment. It would be nice to see some of the ARKX/UFO go to AVUV because there are a lot of great small US companies you don't carry. Overall I like how ambitious your portfolio is. I don't have the stomach for such large plays of SMH, ARKX, and UFO but it's great to see you are branching out your portfolio to pickup some stocks not held in VOO.
yow your portfolio has a strong core with VOO, but allocating 45% to semiconductors and space creates significant overlap and high volatility risk. I looked at it using lattice io to confirm that ARKX and UFO share many of the same holdings, so consolidating those into a single 5% satellite position would reduce fees and concentration while keeping your growth thesis intact.
When viewing a b2 spirit from a certain angle the appearance looks identical to the so called UFO sightings reported around area 51. Mystery solved.

as an American, I would not recommend that portfolio. VOO is a good choice for the core or backbone of your portfolio at 55%. SMH I would keep to 5-10% of the portfolio, not 25%. It's very hot and trendy at the moment, but it's best to be skeptical of trends. ARKX is from Cathie Wood, and I would not touch anything she manages. UFO ... I sort like this one, it's the type of thing I might buy as a 5% position just out of curiosity. The fee is higher, but performance has been good and the assets are low but not terrible. it's well diversified globally and the top 10 stocks are a little unusual so you're not buying all the same stocks. It's a fun little niche ETF I would consider. I would recommend 55% VOO, 25% VXF or similar for US smaller companies, 10% SMH and 10% UFO

As for space etfs the reason I have 2 of them is ARKX gives me some exposure to spaceX indirectly via ARKX ventures and theres a high possibility that it might participate in ipo.UFO on the other hand gives me more direct exposure to space stocks and has every lil overlap with ARKX
ASTS and ACHR are doing badly AH, which means UFO will likely tank tomorrow.
The portfolio is interesting, but it’s much more concentrated than it appears. VOO is a solid core, but 45% of the portfolio is in semiconductors and space themes, which adds a lot of volatility and overlap. SMH has been a great performer, but 25% is a big bet on one sector. ARKX and UFO also overlap significantly and are both niche themes with uncertain long-term returns. Personally, I’d keep VOO as the core and reduce the thematic ETFs unless you have very high conviction and a long time horizon.

Space infrastructure, the plumbing of space. Multiple government contracts, ceo from Lockheed Martin with deep connections. It’s an early space stock so it seems like what you were looking for. I don’t own RDW but plan on getting into it at some point after some other stocks run. The price point on MNTS is much friendlier for a moonshot so I’ve just been accumulating there. Since RKLB has ran, I just decided to buy UFO for broader exposure and simplicity. FYI - the patterns of MNTS show signs of coordinated shorting and has strong short influence. Based on interactions on Reddit, they are rampant to discourage others from investing. I’ve done really well with buying on dips and trimming spikes. The shorts push down hard, so it’s got high beta. They are getting less influential as the company is maturing and accumulating increases. Just look for pullbacks for entries and take profits on spikes. And to emphasize the shorting, see the quick comment in my mention of their name with likes lol. Look into it and make your own decision. The early history is strange and isn’t pretty, but it kind of morphed it into the concept it is today with deep government connections. Obviously invest at your own risk. To me they have a different angle and serve a global audience for affordable payload delivery and assembly. Best wishes in your investing.
