I am also most bullish on UMAC for many reasons, loved their recent earnings calls and financials. I'll look into BETA this weekend, thanks for the tip.
UMAC and BETA seem to be the strongest charts for drone stocks currently. UMAC is a no-brainer since its a trump trade. BETA probably has the best use-case for drones being a fixed-wing aircraft that can be used for low-cost cargo transport among other uses

What a rug pull in drones, ONDS, RCAT, UMAC...
I treat RDDT, BE, CRWV and UMAC the same way now: these are the only four tickers I refuse to DCA up. They're just too volatile and their growth patterns are unreliable. So if they get 10% below my cost basis (which for RDDT is now $155) I will buy more but I am never paying a premium for any of that shit until its charts stop looking schizophrenic.

upvoted because that's a very regarded move. I was actually going to make a post in the UMAC subreddit to warn new investors about chasing it. Last time it jumped to $30s because of an article mentioning UMAC was in talks with the Office of Strategic Capital. Then it fell back to $16/$17. If you're trying to make a quick buck, you're hoping that the OSC comes through in the next couple of weeks. But even then UMAC has to be able to produce a lot more parts to drive up revenue which isn't easy since they have to get materials.
I don't think it's just that. People trade it because Trump Jr is there but it's also part of buying a parts company versus a drone company. In theory, the drone company only does well if they get contracts but at this time there are so many drone companies competing for the dollars it's hard to know who's going to come out on top. UMAC sells parts so the story is they're selling to many drone companies (winners and losers) so their business is in demand. Of course I think this is overpriced for where UMAC is right now/based on the amount of parts they can produce, but stock price aren't rational. Everyone who bought recently is hoping for news about government making an investment in UMAC.
I feel like it's a good bet that the parts UMAC uses ends up being Chinese origin.
I bought into JEDI hoping to capture a number of the potential movers in an admittedly high priced ETF. Wondering if I should still secure some positions in UMAC as a pure play.

basically makes it unaffordable for any other company besides the one his son is involved in to produce drone parts. so in essence all this does is secure funding nationally for drone parts from manufacturer Unusual Machines (NYSE American: UMAC) which Donald Trump Jr. joined the advisory board November 2024, a move that significantly boosted the company's stock value and preceded defense-related purchase orders. its the usual lawmakers making laws that apply to everyone else besides the obvious fraud from nepotism and insider trading as is the American way. but its ok because the 1 degree of separation makes it "legal". i always loved that part too. "its not me its my kid that has zero experience and zero funding besides my own". whether you want to call the national security risk gains that he isn't profiting from or the potential risk some other company he isn't affiliated that's foreign producing drone parts take your pick.

This is straight regarded. I say that as an early investor in Unusual Machines. UMAC is just getting to the point of making their own motors Look at UMACs retail storefront, Rotor Riot. How many of the components are from China that they are reselling. Almost all of them. Fat Shark, RadioMaster, TBS, etc are all Chinese brands. Even their own brand of brushless motors, “hypetrain”, is still made in China. A huge number of the NDAA parts are Chinese, counter to the claims on their site. Maybe final manufacturing is happening in Orlando, but the components are certainly not. Another “Made is the USA” grift. Look at the components actually produced in the USA on their site, like their flight controller. Look at the RotorRiot F7 https://rotorriot.com/products/rotor-riot-brave-f7-flight-controller-made-in-usa . Now compare it with the Chinese equivalent they based their design on down to the microcontroller: https://www.speedybee.com/speedybee-f7-v3-flight-controller/ The Chinese version is of higher build quality literally down to the PCB.
