It’s very volatile stock even when it keeps going up. It’s worth credit debit spreads to limit risk maybe once it recovers VWAP. I made a bit off CRCL last week but there are less risky plays. Anyone who bought RBLX VRNA or MSFT options in early June is really happy right now. Less exiting than 30% on a day but regards can size up with confidence off closes near the 8 ema D1. That was APP and NFLX last fall. Just riding the 8 up for weeks.
NBIS is early days. Take a deep dive into the owner, the company, and its subsidiaries and you will see that it can easily 5x from where we are. Look at VRNA as well. First year of a new FDA approved COPD drug that is exploding. The company just won the Breakthrough of the Year” and “Company of the Year” at the European Mediscience Awards. Analysts keep raising the price targets weekly. This week from 95$ - 138$. I’m up 100% since Feb and there’s lots of room for this one to run over the next few years. They have a partner in China now and are just waiting for final approval of the drug there and a European partner will be announced July or August of 25. TSSI is another that I have been watching for months. Should have bought at the low in April of $6. It’s at $25 now and will continue to fly as well. Partnered with Dell. 500% revenue increase last 1/4.
Biotech is a stock-picker market and it is easy to pick the wrong stocks. Due to the extreme volatility most biotechs are no buy and hold stocks for me and I trade them more actively than my other positions. HUMA and TMDX (medtech) doubled for me and I sold, others such as TGTX or VRNA I keep. The market wants to see growth and revenue, it is not a time where great stories make biotech stocks soar.
You need to choose very wisely in this sector. Your choice are mostly very poor, so better dont invest in single companies without a clue. Good examples are: VRNA NBIX ARGX MDGL BBIO. Look for solid cashpile (>2 years runway), ideally profitable and also should be commercial stage. Clinical only is mostly risky is you have no clue
Lucid Capital recently issued a 55-page report written by a PhD in Biochemistry with a buy recommendation. Additionally, INMB has 50 percent institutional ownership (most phase 1s have 10-30 percent) as well as very high insider ownership with a very large purchase in the last year. Very good numbers for a small cap bio. That being said a binary event is approaching. Might lose up 75% on a bad readout or go up 700% on a good one, nobody knows. Probably the most optimistic thing that can be said it is likely an asymmetrical bet. They certainly have an interesting approach. Lots of information. I most never invest in pre-approval bios but this might be an exceptional opportunity. Last time I tried was VRNA, has worked out nicely. Bet sizing is key.
I’m holding 15 VRNA calls, any thoughts?
What do you guys think about VRNA? Keep breaking new all time high
Verona Pharma has Ritedose making their COPD drug right here in the USA. Ritedose is expanding now to double in size as the volume increases. VRNA is and will continue to rise over the foreseeable future
Yes I had 1000 shares yesterday. Took the L ( lost $4k). Bought VRNA and made it back. Now might be the time to open up leaps on Target. I got free
I’ve been in TGTX since the teens. I hold massive position in ARQT. And holding huge amount of SWTX which is currently negotiations a buyout with Merck kgaA Waiting to free up $$ to add VRNA MDGL
VRNA is starting to cook CTM is just getting going
Calls PARA. Puts VRNA IONQ
i mean you don't have to rush into it, u still have plenty of time, first BLA Acceptance and then approval takes 6 months, we are looking at around September for approval. even then if it follows the path of VRNA, even after approval, u still have roughly 15 days to get in, since fda approval doesn't guarantee stock spiking; u can have a look at it and see potential cons, i am heavily biassed
Congrats. What's the story with $VRNA?
In February I started investing in APP, HOOD, RDDT, RBRK, CRDO, VRNA, ACHR, RDW, CLS and ETON with good results.

I was selling V around the time of this comment and started moving money into VRNA in July 2024. I've spent a lot of time analyzing Biotechs, and while it's a higher risk industry, I feel my experience investing in it over the last 6 years has allowed me to find a few gems. VRNA is now 50% of my portfolio and I won't be buying more. I do wish I still owned V, but back in July I saw an opportunity with Verona and needed to pull the cash from somewhere. I'm currently up 211% on VRNA so I don't regret that choice, but bio is volatile and Verona can't afford to miss any of investors expectations in 2025.
VRNA, CAPR, ALT for example
Good morning. Let me give you some context before I show you a few examples of what I do. My goal is always simple. Find the biggest winning stocks. I am looking for the next LeBron, the next Jordan. Here is some information you need on your path to becoming a highly successful investor. Here are what 95% of the highest performing stocks in history have in common: * 99% were above the 200 day moving average * 96% were above the 50 day moving average * 95% showed earnings acceleration, usually massive * 95% had a catalyst (the "why"), including a new product, service or some positive change As an example VRNA had an FDA approval of "Ohtuvayre" on 6/27/2024. It is up over 125% since that. That's an example of the "why". Now, if you want to catch the biggest winners, you need to weed out the junk. Just using the information I shared above, you would have easily caught SMCI before it ripped in 2023 and the climax run into 3/20242024, NVDA in early 2023 off the 2022 bear market and into 6/2024 (I won't go near it now), APP, PLTR, RDDT recently, ALAB, etc, etc. In other words, using the data I shared above gives you a massive advantage, because you're not investing your money in junk that goes sideways, gives you small returns or is "dead money" (your money doesn't grow because the name isn't being bought). 85% of the moves in the largest names come from institutions (think Fidelity investing your retirement money). Your job is to find their footprints (not as hard as you might think). Having said all this, I use a few simple indicators. I am a master of price, volume and patterns. Additionally, I use Relative Strength. Not RSI, Relative Strength, which measures the performance of a stock relative to the broad market index (SPY or SPX is fine). So, if a name like PLTR has an RS rating of 95% while the market is down, it is outperforming 95% of all the stocks in the S&P500. This is how you find LeBron and Jordan. You don't even question the excellence. I also look for powerful buy zones. I start on the weekly, move to the daily to identify my tight "entry zones" and then enter on the hourly with confirming volume. My entry location on the hourly is derived from the higher timeframes. As an example, FTAI pulled back to the 10 week moving average, which is an excellent buy zone to add to a super performer. It showed massive RS (relative strength) divergence from the week of July 8th until the week of August 5th, where it pulled into the 10 week and rocketed higher. Even the weekly candle closed in the top 5% of the candle body. It's up 70% since. On the daily timeframe, PLTR did the same thing from 7/21/2024 through 8/5/2024. It showed massive divergence, undercut that low and has moved 160% since.
Dunno, I 50x'd on my VRNA calls (even wrote a DD post where everyone but 1 dude just said it was regarded). Most are shit but some can print. That said, don't buy shares or options on biotech or pharma until like 2 weeks from an FDA announcement.
VRNA with the
Luckily I sold my VRNA 20c three weeks ago….
Shoutout to the regard who posted about VRNA last month. You da man!
Reinvest in $VRNA and/or $PHAT both with good growth potential in the coming year. As always however, do your due diligence - not financial advice. I hate to say it, having done my research on Intel and the fact that the motley fool praised the stock was for me a big reason to stay away from it in the first place.
VRNA, VRTX & AMGN have had an insane month. 45% of my total gains back in May were because of them.
$VRNA shares have doubled. Thanks WSB! That’s more of the DD we need here.
Just holding VRNA and MCD calls
VRNA decided to pump 18% seconds after I sold my calls. This shit is rigged.
VRNA just recently received FDA approval for ensifentrine, a new treatment for COPD, and is starting to pick up momentum. It closed at $17.93 today with an analyst consensus of $35.60. IV was crushed after approval, so you can buy call options much more cheaply than a month ago. I have a position.
Props to whoever posted about VRNA calls a few weeks ago
Undervalued? $VRNA. Just FDA approved and a few billion dollars in sales pipeline. Buy out not unthinkable. NFA.
Calls on ASTS, HIMS, OKTA, VRNA & SHOP
Still sitting on 10k worth of CZR calls for August September VRNA calls CMG calls 2 weeks out ... And these regarded TLT calls
AZN is undervalued. VRNA has huge short term upside. Do your DD.
Where’s that fucknugget that told me to buy VRNA calls when I was most vulnerable today!!?? It’s not even an ‘Merican company!
VRNA 46% short interest with 88% institutional ownership🤷♂️🤔 FDA just approved drug yesterday
$VRNA. Drug approved. Consensus price is $36, stock at $16.
VRNA drug got FDA approved today after hours. Stock got a massive 36% short interest of float … MOASS tomorrow is a great possibility
Run this again on $VRNA today and see which one made more profit. NFA
Started aggregating VRNA from end of May and booked profit last week. My idea is to ride along regardless of what happens, happy with what I made.
VRNA FDA drug decision tomorrow
VRNA FDA approvals pending 26 June
They develop products that help to protect against Electro Magnetic Field radiation. Important standards to consider, IEC-61000-4-8 and the NCRP. As for the stock of this company, the algorithm may need some tweaking, 6% down so far today. Let me give you my ‘algo’ for the week; VRNA. FDA approval this Wednesday, this stock is gonna take off. NFA.
$VRNA 3X your money or lose it all in two weeks.
I use the DD filter on this sub and read the new ones everyday. This is the only company I’ve bought from reading them, however followed a few others that panned out (following VRNA was interesting, wish I bought it). Some didn’t (like BBBY)
$VRNA keeps pumping. Could well be a 5 bagger by the end of this month.
A business journal for NC. Covering the history of the company and upcoming FDA decision. Watched it trade down/ sideways and decided it was attractive enough. Ive been waiting for a post on VRNA! Constantly searching Reddit for confirmation bias lol Glad it pulled back some.. insane volume so far today! Enjoyed your DD, Very well done.
I can’t be the only one getting VRNA calls right? Right??
Add an A to VRNA and you get "varna" - literally "meth lab" in Czech. I'm in.
June 26, 2024 is all I could find. Here is the whole statement. "The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) assigned a Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA) target action date of June 26, 2024 for Verona Pharma's (Nasdaq: VRNA) New Drug Application (NDA) for ensifentrine. Ensifentrine is being developed as a treatment for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and if approved, it could be the first inhaled non-steroidal therapy to combine bronchodilator and anti-inflammatory activities in one molecule. Verona Pharma is also planning to launch ensifentrine in the US in the third quarter of 2024, pending FDA approval."
VRNA looks real good 😌 not sure If I should load up. Any DD?
VRNA. (Mind you, this thought experiment will be very different for various individuals. For some 10k would represent all of their assets, for others it might be a fraction of a percentile. I would think depending on your relative wealth the answer should be quite different.)
I am mostly a biotech investory, and for coming year I have high expectations for VRNA, GLYC, and ADMA. \*very very volatile market sector.
Trying to decide if I drop these 22.5 VRNA calls
Got in VRNA yesterday. Glad I did...so far
VRNA It stay still at 18$ so I think there may be a run up late today.
VRNA is going crazy also. Check out the pre-market
Not a squeeze per say but VRNA is announcing news tomorrows prior to bell for their COPD clinical trial results
Had a good play with VRNA, in about 6 months company gonna sell to big pharma. Load up.

VRNA pharma company just had successful progress with a COPD drug in phase 3 trials, been blowing up this week.
