VSAT looking ripe for a move higher
> I liquidated my portfolio earlier in the week on the NASDAQ and NYSE. I had a successful run with stocks such as INTC, VSAT, ASTS, and KTOS, I'm out while my investments are in the positive. it's april 6th 2025 all over again. they do always say that history repeats itself.
AST SpaceMobile (ASTS), EchoStar (SATS), and Viasat (VSAT). Other notable companies for space-based connectivity, data, and launch services include Rocket Lab (RKLB), Planet Labs (PL), BlackSky Technology (BKSY), and Redwire (RDW).
Ok, at the rate ASTS keeps going up everybody better be getting their own personal satellite. It's a $32bn stock with only $1bn in forward contact commitments (something like 130x forward price-to-sales) and only less that $15m in actual 2025 revenue (realized price-to-sales at like 2000x). For comparison, VSAT is an established player in this space, had around $4.5bn in 2025 revenue, and has a $6.2bn market cap.
VSAT doing well yet not talked about Sus
Nice job dude. VSAT has also been a play for the last year. Up like 400% YoY
I own VSAT and GSAT. Apple owns 20-% of GSaT
Current valuations on the darlings like of RKLB (P/S over 70 with no profits) or ASTS which has no revenue and always behind schedule are just not sustainable. They may There are some growing space companies that still have some reasonable valuations, some suggested MDA Space but it's Canadian. RDW and LUNR are still reasonable (in comparison) and growing fast into space and national security defense. There are some legacy satellites companies but they're all struggling one way or the other mostly because of Starlink, GSAT has a deal with Apple but they're already over-valued based on their prospects. IRDM and VSAT have good defense units, IRDM has very good FCF. VSAT has an activist investor trying to spin off the defense unit. There are others like VOYG and FLY but not very good management. SATS is turning into a holding company after they sold off their spectrum and now own like 3% of SpaceX. Of course you could wait for SpaceX IPO but it's ridiculously overvalued as well considering all the smaller companies eating away at their business.
You’re going to see a few players - spaceX and ASTS. You might see Amazon if they can get more spectrum. Likely see IRDM, GSAT taken out, VSAT spectrum might get sold and it’s A&D biz would be remainco
IRDM, GSAT, VSAT likely get taken out. SATS is indirect spacex equity
Up 206% on VSAT the moment. Only +16k. I don’t post it because it’s not significant + nobody actually cares.
Blue Water who makes drone warships isn’t publicly traded yet. They are close to production. Saildrone isn’t publicly traded either and they just bolted on Lockheed's JAGM Quad Launcher missile system and anti-ship missiles to make a drone warship. I guess this will be a suppler and support play for the next few years with my war money. TXT anti mine systems, RTX radar systems, OII maintenance, HON navigation and defense systems, LHX automated payload systems, NVDA, well they are in everything, VSAT satcoms, OUST LiDAR systems, CAT Diesel engines that can run a long time without humans. No huge plays, but they shouldn’t crash hard because of the tremendous build up in the coming years, if we are in a so called bubble. Who knows.
Thoughts on VSAT CIEN? They are in an uptrend
If you want a real play I’d put that into VSAT and sell after the f2 launch in the upcoming weeks
Nope. VSAT, EUAD, KDEF, all dipped a little so I lost too. But the trajectory is still good.
Only thing I buy with that kind out Outlook is index funds. My only long-term game is I bought VSAT this past spring, and ill sell my 1000 shares when they hit $40-$50 nest year
Your predictions over the last few months have been scarily accurate! How do you research stocks? VSAT as an example back in June, kudos my man!
Great post and insights. I just created r/SATS_ECHOSTAR so please feel free to crosspost there. In my opinion, the $8.5 Billion SpaceX stake along with Boost Mobile being a hybrid AT&T terrestrial+Starlink satellite gives an advantage over other MNOs that are still waiting for ASTS and others to get their satellites into orbit. Boost is already the 4th largest wireless provider so they got room to grow. I like their Hughes government business, it's a $1+ Billion in revenue but it's not growing and competition is intensifying. They should acquire VSAT government unit with their new cash injection. I really don't like Dish and Sling, their time has passed and if there's a buyer, they should sell it and move it on. They claim to have [$24 Billion](https://www.reuters.com/business/media-telecom/echostar-expects-have-24-billion-cash-after-spectrum-sales-debt-payments-2025-09-15/) in cash now so they have a lot of options to pivot and become a growth story.
VSAT and GENI being great examples. Massive returns since they posted the politician trades on those two. Both were posted by politician trade tracker. That’s the main tracker I use on Instagram. They post the best ones and they rarely ever lose. I also look at quiver quantitative quite a bit. For instance, RHP was just purchased by Marjorie Taylor Green. 50 grand worth and it’s the first time a politician has bought it. I tailed that one.
BCE and VSAT telecom is on fiyahhh can’t wait for end of August
VSAT is charitable right now
Thank you to the guy that posted about VSAT months ago
VSAT earnings tmrw 👀 juice
VSAT earnings tomorrow gonna send us to the moon
VSAT getting aquired = easy money
You wanna gamble? VSAT is gonna hit $30 by the middle of next year unless another of their satellite launches fail.
If VSAT closes even nominally higher, I think it's a great buy. Bull case remains intact, in my opinion.
DARPA has the Midas touch. Whether the tech is real, exaggerated, or outright pretend doesn't matter; the stocks always go parabolic at some point. VSAT is the latest, and I expect big things for any calls expiring on July 18. I've had mine for several months and will sell before the Moon landing anniversary (July 16), but I've seen this play out enough times to bet the house that it goes nuts until then, and the anniversary may even catapult it to new heights, but that's your bet to make if you have the balls.
Wins: KDEF 53%, EUAD 30% VSAT 56% Loss: POWW….wild swings, currently down 20%. Ford…newer position +3% 🤷🏻♂️
VSAT up 40% on no news. Makes me think news is coming.

check my portfolio and see it's popped $500 higher. I realize it's the $9 VSAT calls I've been holding since after earnings wtf lol😂
Load VSAT calls while you can
VSAT should literally be flying. Hopefully at open it does.
Viasat (VSAT) to play a role in the construction of the Golden Dome? Yeah, that's a massive buy signal. Thing is, there's a chance it already exists and this announcement was made to avoid having to admit that they have known about, uh, *aerial* attacks for half a century and never bothered to tell us. VSAT is, after all, yet another DARPA baby, and DARPA has been sending satellites into space (totally not for defense, though since VSAT *definitely* exists only to provide wireless internet, making it a natural fit to be a de facto defense contractor fighting against space missiles re: the Golden Dome...wait, what?) since 1958.
VSAT ceo says they will be apart of Trump's Golden Dome, per earnings conference call
VSAT making it's move at market open then?
imagine looking at the VSAT 5yr and the destruction of SLS and saying “fine investment chaps, chop chop”

VSAT got hammered after hours, damn
There’s another great trader in the US gov Debbie Wasserman Schultz. She made me dough with VSAT, on a nasa contract announcement and good earnings. Got into another of her plays today, BAX. Baxter Technology.
VSAT, Debbie washerman’s pick actually not getting completely cooked, I’m buying
VSAT and NBIS, rising from the fucking grave.
Bought VSAT and SIRI, sat commo to connect autonomous drones that are AI run.
Bought VSAT 2 weeks ago, let's go!
If someone doesn't post a picture of their position, don't even consider buying. Don't buy biopharma stocks, I don't care how many emoji rockets are in a fake DD. Your chances of getting the next Moderna or Pfizer don't exist. Companies, shorters and firms can, will and do have people post on forums. Use the SEC website, look up definitions of words used in stocks, and yes---look at the chart. There's nothing wrong with researching a stock. Don't buy Chinese stocks and don't expect that a government contract will explode a stock. There's reasons why stocks like VSAT or BKSY aren't exploding. Stocks like KULR didn't explode because of investment firms--it exploded because of randoms clamoring.
Buying VSAT, TEM, BKSY holding HOOD, DUOL, GRND selling PLTR
Just posted about VSAT winning a contract for half their market cap. Would be cool if yall would share your thoughts on the opportunity.
VSAT will steal your wife and make your kids call you uncle
VSAT awarded $325 million contract with US military, that’s 25% of their market cap https://www.reddit.com/r/SpaceInvestorsDaily/comments/1hb1sch/vsat_viasat_awarded_fiveyear_325_million_idiq/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

You got it! MSTX: > MSTX is currently trading at $88, showing a significant decline from recent highs, reflecting its volatile nature tied to Bitcoin and broader market movements. The 10-day SMA at $113.45 and the 8-day EMA at $110.14 suggest a bearish trend, with the RSI indicating oversold conditions, potentially signaling a short-term bounce. The MACD histogram is slightly negative, reinforcing bearish momentum, but the mixed sentiment around covered calls and high premiums could attract speculative interest. Given the broader market's upward trend, MSTX might experience a temporary rebound, but caution is advised due to its leveraged and speculative nature. For today's session, consider a LONG position with an entry at $88, targeting $95 first and $100 second, with a stop loss at $85. Confidence in reaching the first target is moderate due to potential volatility, while the second target carries lower confidence given the stock's unpredictable swings. Stay vigilant for any shifts in Bitcoin's price or broader market sentiment that could impact MSTX's trajectory. VSAT: > Viasat Inc. (VSAT) is currently trading at $8.80, showing signs of potential recovery after a recent downtrend, with the 10-day SMA at $8.02 indicating short-term bullish momentum. The MACD histogram is positive, suggesting a possible upward movement, while the RSI values are neutral, indicating balanced buying and selling pressure. The broader market's upward trend, led by SPY and QQQ, could provide additional support for VSAT, especially given its strategic positioning post-Inmarsat acquisition. However, competition from Starlink and integration challenges remain concerns. For today's session, consider a long position with an entry around $8.75, targeting $9.20 as the first price target and $9.50 as the second, with a stop loss at $8.50 to manage risk. Confidence in reaching the first target is moderate due to mixed sentiment and market conditions, while the second target carries lower confidence given external competitive pressures. Keep an eye on volume spikes and any news developments that could impact sentiment or momentum. AMAT: > Applied Materials Inc (AMAT) is currently facing mixed sentiment, with recent earnings results causing a slight negative tilt due to lower-than-expected EPS and cautious guidance. Despite this, the stock's fundamentals remain strong, particularly in the AI chip market, and its new MAX OLED solution has generated significant interest. Technical indicators show AMAT trading below key moving averages, with the 14-day RSI at 40.14 suggesting it's nearing oversold territory, while the MACD histogram indicates bearish momentum. The broader market's upward trend, led by SPY and QQQ, could provide some support, but caution is warranted due to potential short-term pullbacks. Given the current price of $172.51, consider a LONG position with an entry around $171.50, targeting $175.00 first and $178.00 second, with a stop loss at $169.00. Confidence in the first target is moderate due to mixed sentiment and external pressures, while the second target carries lower confidence given geopolitical risks. Overall, AMAT presents a potential buying opportunity for those looking to capitalize on its long-term growth prospects in the semiconductor industry.
I wonder that congressman who bought VSAT. If he still holding?
VSAT and AMC calls to determine if I get a Rolex or Timex for Christmas

Been adding shares and Jan 2026 LEAPs here for the past couple weeks. Market absolutely hates the stock and it seems priced for BK ($1.3B valuation) despite having ~$2B in cash, $1B revenue per quarter, and not being too overleveraged. Yes they've experienced some major technical setbacks, have taken time to integrate Inmarsat, and have had their lunch eaten in the residential broadband market by Starlink - but their mobility segment (now the primary focus) has a stickier & higher margin customer base that isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Management has guided for FCF generation in a few quarters, largely due to reduction in CapEx, but will have to verify whether they're on track in Wednesday's ER. Honestly think there might even be a buyback angle (see: $IRDM's program) They also have more opportunities for growth than one might expect. I like what they're doing in the D2D space (aka what Starlink D2C and $ASTS are doing, except VSAT uses MSS frequencies which don't require MNO partnerships). They're partnered with Skylo (which is already doing SOS on Google Pixel 9, and will do texting soon on some Verizon Android phones), just tested with BSNL in India, and founded the MSS Association for standards-based NTN. They have a lot of global coordinated L-band that can be put to use for this burgeoning market. Last but not least they have a partnership with $RKLB (my primary position) on a data relay demonstration for NASA CSP. I find it promising that they're willing to partner with innovative up-and-comers with vertically integrated satellite build & launch capabilities, and would like to see more of this as it'd be a win-win for my portfolio. Short-medium term PT is return to $20-30 levels. Space is a hot theme right now, $GSAT (another OG satellite operator, ticker one letter off) is up 70%+ in the last 2 days.
