What’s with all the VSXY comments suddenly - astroturfing?

It's a fun theory but I'm doubting it's actually been the driver in the 300% rally. This is a $2B company adding $4B to the market cap. If 10% of Americans are on GLP1s and half of them buy lingerie, that's like 20M people. Assuming half of them are shopping at VS, that's 10M people. That's a $400 increase per customer. I don't buy it when it doesn't impact 90% of the population. Folks will recall the downfall of $VSXY not too long ago. It wasn't a shortage of skinny chicks causing it. It was their inability to convince existing customers that their stuff was worth the premium over really inexpensive fast fashion competitors that were eating their lunch. It sounds like they've started to turn that around while raising prices. Their profit increase, not actual sales, is the most impressive stat.

That chart is wild, I didn't even know a retail stock could move like that in one year. I was looking at VSCO for a bit but this VSXY ticker seems like something else entirely, maybe I missed some news about it. The food chains point is interesting too, feels like everyone is chasing AI stocks and forgetting that people still need to eat and buy clothes. My portfolio is heavy on tech and some days I wonder if I should spread it out more.

tbh, they just need a really good narrative and quarterly results and they'll be back. If they can copy what VSXY did they'll shoot back up

My sister who only has $VSXY since she started 2 years ago already turned 30k into 120k and she doesn't even know about it unless I tell her to reinstall and check the app🙄 She literally hasn't opened the app since the 1st time, why do such kind of people make more profit than I do?
