So it's very important to actually know what makes the Stock Market tick, and why it's wildly different compared to what most people wrongly and very loudly assume. For a decent but very informed view of things I suggest looking up Steve Eisman who regularly investigates and learned about the market. And recently he did a very brief overview of the basics of the stock market, which can be found under his youtube video of 5 long-Term themes to understand about 2026. To give a brief overview of it, the health of the market is largely based around the Info Tech sector, sitting at about 35% of the total market. In addition to this is the fact that overwhelmingly the passive market of investments is also in Info Tech; some say upwards of 60-70% of passive investment falls into the Info Tech sector. **So with that context. The big question to always ask, is what happened recently to Info Tech if anything?** And there are two factors at recent play. The minor one being Tariffs from the EU and the possibility of restrictions for the info tech sector expanding from the US and into the EU. This is the minor one at play, because the world is largely waiting until the SCOTUS makes a ruling or postponement on the legality of Trumps Tariffs. The Primary factor is the cooling down and diminishing returns on Large Language models in AI. A lot of investors in LLMs are coming to the reality that LLMs are no always exponential in growth and in recent developments a lot of progression of LLMs are starting to plateau. Or in simple words is, LLMs are starting to reach the end of their progression and the investment that was recently put into LLMs were relying on them remaining exponential in their progression. Given this harsh reality, a lot of investment into LLMs are slowing down, and unless the entities managing those LLMs; your openAI, google, etc, start to invest into other paths with AI learning, it could potentially lead to a sudden cooling of investments. Which just means people hold off on investing any more until they see that next "WOW" factor. With these two factors at play, Info tech is taking a small hit; but where it's such a gargantuan part of the stock market even the smallest of hits will shift the entire market.
Ummm. I upgraded this last cycle. I was impressed with the power and the memory of the new phones so I upgraded mine. I liked the price and power of the new MacBook Air. So I bought one. I bought the AirPods because they take care of focus because of their ability to tune-out background noise and are better than most hearing aids. I'm going to travel this spring and they do language translations. They broke the record on iPhone sales this last upgrade. When they introduced the iPhone around 2007, naysayers (like you) said they did it way too late because blackberry and others already cornered the market. I'm not sure what you want outside of a flying computer or wow maybe a camera on glasses like Meta? WOW! Apple does what Apple does. They look, test and advance then produce instead of acting willy-nilly like others. Meta did a rollout of new products live and nothing worked. Apple doesn't do that. Here's my prediction..... and I'm qualified because I started buying Apple back in the late 90's when it was 18/share and according to some including my financial advisor they would be out of business In a couple of years (and later bought stock himself). Apple complies with three pieces of their business model and here's my thoughts; There will be further and further integration of products and services folded into AI. Every Apple product communicates with the other. iCloud, if you know how to use it is Apple's center for all your files. It's convenient, its organized and it's a life-saver. I think the Vision Pro will become lighter and more advanced to integrate and embed themselves in medicine, law and aerospace. Services will continue to grow. And when you continue to unfold products the service sector continues to grow. I also think a car or a helicopter or integrated services into cars will be another advancement. Don't listen to the naysayers. Apple is the tech leader. They don't put out garbage. They put out refined, integrated products that people like. Just look at the charts over the past 30 years. Apple will never be out of business.
This is what we have been waiting for since 2016. WOW! He threatens Americans, other countries and he can’t even have these pharmaceutical and healthcare companies lower their prices for everyone. These CEOs need to add to their pay package trying to become billionaires.
