I have never understood the EV hype. Part of the UAW contract was decreased investment in EV by the big 3. I know two companies who had federal grants for EV school buses. The electrical supply upgrade could not be supported by the local power supplier. And there are 3 1-million square foot warehouses in our area running on diesel generators waiting for local power supply. This will take another 12-14 months. Bi-directional power supply is 10-15 years away. (If ever). Thinking commercial users may take a look at Natural Gas vehicles again. If so, CLNE & WPRT skyrocket. I was a bag holder of these two from 2010 -2021. I cashed out when they rocketed up in early 2021. CLNE gas supply actually is carbon negative. I’m not sure how there isn’t a race to use this product. But this whole thesis is based on logic, not ideology, so it may take a few years.

Ok i see that, currently i want to CALL, WPRT. I work for cummins, so we were technically partners with them last year. There all time high was about $12. Right now i hold 2k of their shares (just purchased under $1). Depending on the FED, the war and whos elected, if all goes smooth, not assuming it will. The DD and research ive show, along with Green new deal, the projection of Green energy, i believe this company in a few years could be well above $5-$10. What im not understanding is whats the difference between buying a $3 call and a $7 call? $7 call is ultimatly cheaper by not much though, the call costs on this stock are pennies out to Jan 2024. So Assuming i call $3 and it hits $10... vs i call at $7 and it hits $10.... does the $3 call pay the $7 per share and the $7 call pay $3 per share? If close before Expiration?

It looks like Cummins is making so much money they are buying out their JV partner Westport Fuel's stake in $WPRT. Alternative Diesel engine parts and some IP for Hydrogen fuel. Pretty interesting.

I'm buying it. It may fall farther, but I doubt it. I'm betting that is near its lowest point, maybe as low as 1.35. And I don't expect it to go too high. 2.00 is my sell-trigger. I have invested in this company back in 2008 to 2017 when Boone Pickens was raving about natural gas. Lost a ton. They co-oped with Cummings with injectors and storage. Their market cap is $250 million. If they had something that somebody wanted, they would buy it for that price. I would invest in it as a spec stock only with your combined spec stock total with perhaps 10 stocks at $10% of your portfolio. That said, invest up to 1% of your portfolio on it and hope. Because WPRT is nothing more than a hope stock.

Sold a 4$call on WPRT expiry Friday. Price was 4.65$ at time of sale. Today closed at 4.30$. Plan to buy back tomorrow after open as it tends to go down in morning. I bought this stock at 5.17$. it went up to 5.40$. then they diluted!, But I didn't find out for a couple days. So, selling deep ITM call and buying back when it gets low. My only mistake on this call so far was making expiry this Friday. Should have sold this as a leap to reduce risk of early assignment.

WPRT Often went right along with CLNE during the green energy days. It's still low and beaten down. It's been trying to make runs early and then fading. I think this one would be easy to get over the hump and CLNE is pretty expensive right now compared to it
