I have sell orders in on 1/2 of my portfolio, none in my taxable account but about 1/2 the stocks in my IRAs have pending orders. Two of them hit this week, AAPL at $235 and WSR at $14.50. I try to buy 20% below the 52-week high, when it hits that high, I reevaluate, sometimes I sell it all, sometimes 1/2, sometimes none. If you have a stock that has soared, it may be smart to take some of the profits off the table. Selling, when to, when not to, is one of the hardest parts of investing.

I am frequently on CEO and the FB sub. I also moderate the Reddit sub. I have done more DD on this company than any other one I am invested in, including the back history and what went wrong before. It is also why I strongly encourage others to do their DD on it. It won't matter if people believe it or not as when the numbers are confirmed, one way ore the other, it will not be trading around here. There are lots of pumps around, companies that have no revenue and are running promos to dump cheap shares gifted to them and the ones that don't do much but get hijacked for a fast flip. If that is all Reliq is, then they are the worst at it. I posted for information purposes, all of the info is public and easily verified. Same as any other post I have done. As for the quarterly information, I definitely have gone through them, and they have succeeded in coming in short every single time. That said, I also understand business management and the issue they have had. Their promotion with WSR was a terrible decision since they dramatically overstated how contracts equatated to cas, creating a significant issue with transparency. Something the CEO has directly addressed. No, all that said, the company is probably about where they should have bee, and without the WSR promotio, the company would likely be trading better.The reality is they had that promote and trust isn't there. But the numbers are. Their growth quarterly is accelerating, and as they resolve the adherence issue, it will generate the sales expected. Only real questions are these: Is it a scam? Unlikely IMO. Is it a pump? If it is, it is a terrible one. Is it profitable? We will know in less than 3 weeks. The share price will have zero bearing on the companies success. It remaining low is actually in their interest if they are going to buy back shares. I expect that over the next 24 months, it will look completely different as profitable companies do. I do have 200k shares myself, and I have no plans to sell any until 2024 at the earliest. However, I plan to hold for a buy-out. Big thing is, I won't have to wait long, the audited year end is in November, and I will know if it is BS or not. In the range it is trading now, with all that is coming, it is very unlikely I would lose much if any taking this approach. People should consider for themselves if it is right for them. Sorry for the TLDR. Suffice, I believe in this play.

There are several REITs that pay pretty good dividends that are not out of this world price wise, some examples are: ORC and WSR
So I'm a new investor and just looking for a little advice from some of you more knowledgeable folks. I want to start small so I'm currently looking at GESI and WSR. I preferably want something with dividends. Would these be good starting points or should I look into other stocks? Thanks in advance.
I actually sold all of my two harbors feb 24th 2020 at $15.31, got pretty lucky dumping it in time lol. WSR and SBRA have not been good. DLR is by far the best, stock up and dividends always increasing. I bought all of these like 2015/2016 before i could yolo options
Great post. Thx for sharing. The company CEO Francis Letourneau said in one of the last interview at Midas or WSR that they will have those 10.000 towers ready within the next 3-5 years. In one presentation He compared Nuran with other Tower companies. A P/E of nearly 8 should be realistic.
I didn't do any real research but I'm currently buying up all the FSK that I can. The insiders believe and so do I! A bit risky because it's smaller and they boosted their dividend significantly recentlyish so I could see that getting cut at some point. I don't think the share price is strong but I believe their income over "growth" model as I understand it will pay out nicely over many years. Would love if anyone else has some insight into this stock since I kind of just invest with my gut not my brain lol. I also like WSR and REITs in general.
No. TLH is strictly [the sale of assets that will create a capital loss for the goal of offsetting capital gains](https://www.investopedia.com/terms/t/taxgainlossharvesting.asp#:~:text=Tax%2Dloss%20harvesting%20is%20the,than%20long%2Dterm%20capital%20gains.). You are "harvesting" the "loss" for the purposes of "taxes". The IRS didn't want people doing and government doesn't encourage trading so they implanted WASH SALE RULES. WSR basically boils down to [you can't claim capital losses and reenter a position with 30 days](https://www.investopedia.com/terms/w/washsalerule.asp#:~:text=A%20wash%20sale%20occurs%20when,similar%20security%20within%2030%20days.) The reason why people "take the loss and then switch your holding to something similar" is because they want TLH but WSR prevents them from going back into the same position. You don't HAVE to buy something similar or anything at all. Law just states you CAN'T buy the same thing. If you do then they won't let you deduct those capital losses against your gains. I sold my BABA at $120 for capital losses to offset my puts option gains this year. I thought about buying Tencent/KWEB but opted to buy other stocks instead because I didn't want to keep the same amount of China exposure and don't think Xi would 180 on his crackdowns before my 31 days anyways.

Looking for long term growth and dividends. I've been working on transitioning away from individual stocks and toward ETF's for a little more stability. Gut feeling is that I've been focusing too much on ETF's with high dividends and it's not diversified enough. Anyway, here's the current portfolio. $9,247. I know it's heavy on REITS but they were the only thing not overbought and I've had a 17.5% return since February. Just sold my STAG position since I feel it's overbought. EPRT ~ 12% PSTL ~ 10% WPC ~ 8.5% NHI ~ 12.75% WSR ~ 1.5% LMT ~ 17.5% LHX ~ 10% DGRO ~ 14.5% SCHY ~ .5% Will likely close my PSTL position in the next few months and move it to SCHY. My game plan moving forward is to just keep putting money into DGRO and SCHY.

In the case of selling and rebuying a full portfolio the WSR guarantees that all gains will be taxed since the losses are all deferred.

WSR shouldn’t be a reason not to sell, or not to rebuy
It all works out the same when you sell the remaining shares. Someone once sold his big loss on 12/31 and bought back on 1/1 (or whenever the market opened back up) so that he could write the loss on his taxes while keeping the long position. With WSR, the loss does not count and the original cost basis is applied to the new position, even though it was purchased at a lower price

Leader, yeah, management, that’s for the people that join his team. And he’s got some great hardworking people to join him. That’s how they got sales in Brazil, all over the Netherlands and now canada set up in the first place. Loads of interviews on YouTube with wallstreetreporter that are pretty ok, (I’m not a huge fan of WSR but it works.) it’s just about the vision and achieving that vision and that’s what I like about Todd and his company
