YELP even more so considering they have more consistent revenue and more data
$YELP is where it's at. They are buying back the entire stock float. Already authorized. Analysts are too dumb to read their announcements.
$YELP, 10 days to cover, 25% of total available shares authorized for buy back, cash cow, new AI revenue and google litigation. No float = short squeeze.
$YELP. Cash cow, no floating shares, huge windfall from GOOG. Plus, it's the coolest stock
what yall think of YELP, some dude bought massive volume expiring on november 21
In the meantime, I lost a freaking $115k on YELP call options. Lol
YELP earnings next week. Looking at some PUTS. Who uses yelp anymore? What yall think
I've been resigned to the fact I'm harvesting tax losses on YELP before year end but they said the word "AI" and now I might not even get much
DDG, YELP, & DOJ are a bunch of sore pussies
Any thoughts on YELP earnings?
Any thoughts on YELP earnings?
Nope just some random fat dude, that read some charts and got some idea of whats coming, or what I think is coming. I bet you are the person that gives bad YELP reviews to places you have never been.
Highly speculative. Something people like to trade but risk:reward is bad as a long-term investment. The proof: Look at the 5-year charts for PINS, SNAP, MTCH, Z, TWLO, YELP All the stocks in the same industry and size have underperformed the SP500 significantly over the past 5 years.

I remember a few years back when the CEO made the media rounds crying that Google was ratings/reviews on businesses too, as if Yelp somehow had a monopoly on the concept. Throwing up a 10 year chart of GOOG vs YELP shows how well his crying went *I rate $YELP 1 out of 5 stars. Definitely would not recommend investing there again*

The next wave of tech brought little incremental value and can't sell the minor amount of value they bring to the world at a profit. If YELP disappeared tomorrow, would anyone notice? TSLA brings an incredible amount of value with its products and makes large profits.
Anyone here having issues w the YELP APP
The worst thing that has happened to businesses is YELP. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I disagree.. People may not start advertising on BING but they may spread their money to other places. YELP, Social Media, Print, Broadcast, Creatives, etc... I may not give up the entire 800K a month but I'll reduce the hell out of it. My clients listen our recommendations. Look at Comcast, they're known to have one of the worst customer services of all time. It was similar situation, a dominant company "it's not as if people will not get wifi or use cable". Well look what happened to them. They lost billions because of it. If you neglect client/customers with no customer service, it's going to hurt you down the road.
Why is the icecream machine broken I WANT TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER AND WILL LEAVE A REALLY BAD YELP REVIEW.

Anyone have a bull case for $YELP before I put my life savings into shorting it to $0?
1 publicized article regarding how unsafe the environment is for kids would hurt them significantly. They won’t be around for long… but I thought the same about YELP.
How about YELP. Is that also going to come back to ATH. Not every stock will ever recover. Most won't.
I looked these up on an option chain. You have 100 contracts Puts on YELP at $ 18 for Jan 2023. There is no bid. Nobody is willing to buy the option today, as of the close. The platform declines to average a mid-bid-ask "value" when there is no bid. We call that worthless in my country. VG Put at $4, June 17 2022 Also had no closing bid at the end of the day Feb 25 2022 See above.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/t53it4jhslia9yp/Screen%20Shot%202022-02-24%20at%207.29.01%20PM.png?dl=0 Can someone please explain what happened here? Why am I seeing -- in prices? For YELP I was seeing values until today.
Clearbridge Select is one. Article from 2019: In many respects, ClearBridge Select is similar to Hygrove’s original hedge fund, but with less shorting. Green invests in four buckets of stocks. The largest, typically 40% to 45% of his portfolio, is for disruptors—“wildly innovative businesses growing [revenues] north of 20% a year,” he says. “They’re either defining a new market opportunity that didn’t exist before, or going into an existing market where there’s some sleepy incumbent that hasn’t invested in innovation, and they’re taking a lot of market share quickly.” In the second bucket—generally a third of Green’s portfolio—are “durable growth companies,” he says. “They’re either in more-regulated businesses, so they can only grow so quickly or maybe they were disruptors 10 or 15 years ago and now they’re more in a steady state kind of category.” Green puts cellphone-tower company SBA Communications (SBAC) in this category. “It’s the third-largest owner and operator of cell towers in this country, in a business that’s pretty much impossible for anyone else to break into,”he says. “There’s a nice tailwind for their business from wireless data proliferation.” In the third bucket—typically 20% of his positions—are “evolving opportunities,” that is, value or turnaround plays. These are growth companies experiencing hiccups, but ones where Green sees catalysts for improvement. For example, “ Yelp (YELP) was a disruptor but has become pretty unloved,” he says. Yelp had difficulty managing its local sales forces, and there had been a lot of employee churn. But it’s now outsourcing sales to GoDaddy and offering tech for businesses to design their own ads. Green thinks it’s moving in the right direction. The final bucket is “alternative” plays, which can account for 10% of Green’s portfolio. This can be private equity, high-yield bonds, or short bets.
NFLX to raise prices by $1.50 in US and Canada again after just 6 months: >3.5% pump mid day, mutual fund and pensions purchase stock, hmm yes it makes sense because inflation. _____ My business to raise prices by $1 in the first time in 6 years due to inflation: >WHAT THE FUCK? $YELP is fucked!! Check out their Q4 P&L Statements! It’s an outdated platform, it’s an extremely an over priced monthly advertising subscription that squeezes small businesses for ratings and it’s lost so much credibility. I’m 100% 💎✊🏼all-in on early Puts!! $YELP= Dumpster Fire 🔥
If RBLX doesn’t open in the next half hour I’m writing a nasty review on YELP
These stocks are real and booming and I own them all . SBH. Sally beauty after vaccine - booming stock YELP. - moving up for jobs VOLT- staffing like Yelp. If in March 2021 REVENUES go up - this is a $10.00 COMT- commodity inflation hedge KDMN - just raised $200 million and Steve Cohen owns 5 PERCENT!!!!! Convertible bonds at $6.70. Will be big OMER - Company raised capital in August CMS approved pricing for its.
