I was into GEO coin in a short period when it rose dramatically in price to an insane degree at the start of 2018 and I flipped out of it and it soon began to collapse back down. I thought a coin related to geocaching and exercise where you mined by venturing out to certain spots were cool. You had to physically go where the coin was in the map in the app in order to collect Geocoins. Unfortunately my enthusiasm was not shared.

if you are in a 3rd world country, you will most likely not get that much ads to make some decent amount of bat. Those ads have GEO targeting and most of them are exchange or crypto investement platforms that are targeting first world countries (since they have the money to invest).

I disagree cash is easier to trace multiple barriers of verification for any person to trace, even a fucking Girl Scout could do it! Crypto you need coders, people good with computers. I’m a simple guy man! And most people are too, ok look put it this way for example: The GEO group inc. trading on the NYSE I don’t invest in that company because they profit literally from racist policies that they lobbied themselves, and enacted by white supremacist politicians. I think you have to find the balance of ethics in your investments for yourself. I think you make some valid points and I hold VET. To be honest I have thought about this as well. I don't own stocks in GEO Corp because I believe the private prisons are unethical. Coca Cola, the most recognized name in branding created Fanta to sell to the third reich to bypass the embargo. IBM one of the leading technology companies of our times sold their technology to the nazis and they used it for census and punch cards to efficiently label and commit the genocide of the jewish population. I invested in Vechain because of the technology, not the border it surrounds itself with. Unfortunately we never know how technology will be used by those in control. Could be good, could be bad or one day we might find ourselves on the supply chain. Either way you just have to be comfortable with your decision and hope that the future of tech is used for the betterment of society.

I tend to favour low-cap gems that are doing actually useful things. As my idea is to hold long term, I don't look at today's price graph, but whether I think the project may go places or not.
