I think as the next wave of EVM L1s come online it'll become harder for it to grow in price. It's main points used to be cheap transactions but as price grew it lost that spot to Harmony and Polygon, and a very unique and innovative DeFi scene. It's still got one of those but I don't know how long that'll last as new ecosystems open up like TelosEVM, EVMOS, Kadena, etc and now that Kronje is gone a few key protocols are basically trying to keep innovation growing with BEETS, LQDR, and SPIRIT but it's pretty apparent that they're low on completely novel ideas to implement. (not blaming, genuinely new stuff in DeFi is REALLY hard)
Depends on which blockchain you’re into. I personally like FTM. I think Beets and LQDR are valuable and have utility - been farming them for a while now. Have you researched any that interest you?

CEFI isn’t really using crypto it’s more like just trading super volatile stocks. Once you get out of the Central exchanges you start to truly see what crypto is all about. Playing around on a central exchange is very much the corporate version of crypto. The rewards are many times anything you can get on exchanges. There’s a joke in defi something along the lines of “If a coin isn’t a real pain in the arse to buy then you’ve already missed out on the biggest gains” Being on the centralised exchanges is so limited, they really control your assets not you, they can turn off transactions any time they want which we’ve seen in big pumps and dumps many many many times in the recent past. Also the great thing about defi is you can just bridge everywhere and actually find out what a crypto is like to use. Play around on BSC then bridge your assets to Harmony play around there see what money market (Tranquil) is like, go see a gamified DEX (Defi Kingdoms) then bridge across to Fantom (like harmony super low fees) and see what all the fuss about tomb and the billionaire shenanigans of Harry Yeh is like, enter some crazy APR pools and then have a look at Beethoven X where you can enter an LP with all of your favourite assets in it (I’m in a pool of 33% ETH 33%BTC and 33% FTM) and get roughly 30% APR paid in beets. the check out passive income at LQDR. Seen enough Fantom no worries use synapse bridge and bridge to Aurora play around on Trisolaris Dex and then Bridge to Terra, chuck some UST in anchor for 20% return and buy some Luna then bridge across to AValanche and play with Platypus or GLP, like I could just go on and on and on but defi the sky is the limit. There is more happening then you can keep up with and no matter what your interested in (passive income, huge APR experimental LP’s, cutting edge privacy networks, decentralised stable coin protocols, self paying loans) there is something for everyone. After being in defi it makes CEFI seem like school and DEFI is leaving school and starting real life

Not anymore. Sold my last 2,5 ETH to add more Fantom's tokens like TOMB, and LQDR. So far it's been one thing this primal brain of mine have ever done.

I swapped some of my FTM for LQDR back in the middle December at 2 for 1 rate. And now 1 LQDR is worth 16 FTM. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
Fantom ecosystem has been doing extremely well lately. With LQDR now at 50$, BRUSH at 0,2$ and TOMB is now above the peg. I can't imagine how high they will go if FTM keeps on pumping.
I just took some profit out of LQDR at 38$. It's crazy to think that I got in at 2,9$ about a month ago, now it's at 38,8$.
I sold all my TAROT at 1,2$ (at a loss) , and bought LQDR. You win some, you lose some I guess. lol

That's great, Luis! Never hesitate to take some profit. Most of my FTM still locked for another couple months or so, but I managed to swap my TOMB into FTM and sold some LQDR.

Some of Fantom's ecosystem tokens are on crack lately. BRUSH almost touched 0,1, and LQDR is above $24. But TOMB looks like slowly losing its peg to FTM.

I personally only own SpookySwap's BOO, LQDR, and TOMB at the moment. You might want to look at TAROT as it's still a long way off from its ATH.

Once a month the inSPIRIT distribution thursdays align with the MOON distribution, and when you add to that the LQDR epoch, it's a true crypto payday and it feels nice
If you believe in FTM long-term, then holding xLQDR is great because every day you get rewarded in the top DEX coins aka SPIRIT and BOO, plus wFTM, LQDR (doh), SPELL and i believe BEETS (Beethoven X) soon
Lots of plays on fantom network. FTM itself is a solid investment but there are tons of other great projects. Tomb, LQDR, BOO, Spirit, and Shiba FTM to name a few.
Might take a peek, but I'm current in the WFTM pool, and after that I think I'm going to try LQDR or whatever it is. Heard good things.
I’m planning on earning LQDR through xBOO then restaking that in the xLQDR pool
A good strategy for me is locking a bunch of money into yield generating tokens for a few years. That way i get more rewards on a daily (or weekly) basis, and i reinforce my belief in the long term of the project/network, i cannot panic sell even if i want to, hodling is kinda enforced on me. I have SPIRIT locked like this till 2025, and LQDR locked till 2023
