You are VERY correct! A lot of coins launched between 2020 and 2022 have strong, very strong inflation, sometimes to the point of diluting themselves 100% just in the first year. Take TAROT, BOO, IMX, SPIRIT, anything with a [logarithmic release schedule](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logarithmic_growth) is subject to this.

Because not staking it means that you can trade it whenever you want - same as not staking your ETH, ATOM, or hell, SPIRIT. There's nothing inherent to HEX in your statement.
Everything in the FTM ecosystem. I really thought the future was bright for BOO, SPIRIT, BEETS, PAINT, etc... but they dumped so hard after Andre Cronje pulled out too quickly. Now I feel like there's no hope for these coins.

I think as the next wave of EVM L1s come online it'll become harder for it to grow in price. It's main points used to be cheap transactions but as price grew it lost that spot to Harmony and Polygon, and a very unique and innovative DeFi scene. It's still got one of those but I don't know how long that'll last as new ecosystems open up like TelosEVM, EVMOS, Kadena, etc and now that Kronje is gone a few key protocols are basically trying to keep innovation growing with BEETS, LQDR, and SPIRIT but it's pretty apparent that they're low on completely novel ideas to implement. (not blaming, genuinely new stuff in DeFi is REALLY hard)

Survived another harsh winter and Spring is about to Bloom. Here is my portfolio: BTC - 44% FTM - 24% ETH - 14% BOO - 6% XMR - 6% TAROT - 2% SPIRIT - 2% CKB - 2% Doesn't include stablecoins which I use in liquidity pools. My focus so far this year has been trying to establish more passive income streams. Needs some work. Constantly improving and learning. Long way go go before we can rest.

Took this crash as an opportunity to refine my portfolio and finally get rid of some of the dead weight (specifically two ERC tokens) that have been dragging me down. New look portfilio: 50% BTC, 18% ETH, 18% FTM, 6% XMR, 6% BOO, 1% TAROT, 1% SPIRIT. Wouldn't mind getting some more XMR and BOO but I'm pretty happy with the rest of my permissions and am happy to HODL long term. No more worrying about gas fees for me.

yeah cause impermanent loss and im feeling better with yield generating tokens now. Stuff like xBOO, xLQDR, inSPIRIT. the latter two force me to hold long since its locked, and lqdr gives me 6 different tokens at the same time, including both BOO and SPIRIT. and i love the single staking through xBOO cause while staking i can also get additional coins. that without locking too
I haven’t looked into how the AAVE or BAL tokens work, but to just buy CRV or SUSHI is completely missing the point in my opinion. These are tokens that you stake on their respective platforms to earn transaction/incentive fees on top of your base CRV/SUSHI tokens. In both cases there are platforms where you can deposit the interest-bearing staked version of those tokens to earn even more. If the value of the base token goes up then you’re getting value from that, but your main value is coming from levels of staking earning you a cut of various platform fees at each level. Both Sushi and Curve exist on many blockchains, but you can only stake their core tokens on Etherium mainnet, which is a big barrier to entry. Both have popular equivalents on the Fantom chain, so you can learn how both systems work with a very small amount of money. IMO it’s the best way to learn, so I’ll point in that direction and if you aren’t interested then you can skip the rest of this post. Those Fantom platforms are called SpookySwap (tokenomics similar to Sushi) and SpiritSwap (tokenomics similar to Curve). In Spooky, you would stake BOO (like SUSHI) to get XBOO (like XSUSHI), and farm XBOO to get rewards in a choice of several tokens. In Spirit you would lock SPIRIT for a chosen period of time (like CRV) to get inSPIRIT (like veCRV), which earns you rewards of more SPIRIT and increases your farming APR in some liquidity pools. The Avalanche chain has TraderJoe, which also works similarly to Sushi. Disclaimer: I use Trader Joe and Spirit Swap.

A good strategy for me is locking a bunch of money into yield generating tokens for a few years. That way i get more rewards on a daily (or weekly) basis, and i reinforce my belief in the long term of the project/network, i cannot panic sell even if i want to, hodling is kinda enforced on me. I have SPIRIT locked like this till 2025, and LQDR locked till 2023

Just split some ETH and CAKE yesterday for FTM, already dove into SPIRIT, BOO, SCREAM and SOUL lp tokens to stake for that juicy APY. Hoping the coinbase rumours come to fruition by the end of the month.
Hahaha I got a lot of SPIRIT at 0.2 and sold most around 0.6. To 0.4 As a product it just isn’t anywhere near as good as Spookeyswap and the market cap in now very similar. Always time out and have to work out your own has fees… it’s just not as good as Spookeyswap but who knows in price action 👻👻👻🤷
