tldr; Victims in Singapore have lost more money to bogus investment schemes than any other ruse in the last three years, especially falling prey to Chinese-origin "pig-butchering" cryptocurrency scam, losing SGD190.9 million last year, over five times the SGD36.9-million in 2019, according to reports. The Chinese term "sha zhu pan", which means to fatten a pig before slaughtering, was coined by the perpetrators to describe their scam. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. We do, but seems complicated in that the card is in SGD not NZD. I will do some more research though. Do you get cards in AUD or have to muck around with on ramps to transfer etc?

I remember last time I visited Singapore, I spent a little too much time at a bar and missed the last MRT heading for the airport. The pocket WiFi I was using at the time ran out battery, so I couldn't book Grab or Uber. I decided to just bite the bullet and take a taxi from downtown Singapore to the airport. I was expecting the worst, but when we got to the terminal the meter rang up to just 20 SGD. Considering how extortionate taxi drivers can be in most countries especially when they known you're from/going to the airport, that was honestly not too bad.

Minting takes your bank balance and directly prints XSGD per SGD in your bank. This XSGD goes straight to your wallet address, so it doesn't count towards transfer out. Transfer out is counted as you moving funds out of xfers be it SGD to your bank account or XSGD to a centralised exchange/Blockchain address. If u check your link again, they say 50k SGD daily not yearly.

When you travel overseas as a Singaporean you get charged at foreign ATMs. I have used Singaporean ATMs in Singapore and have been rorted with fees and disgustingly bad forex conversion rates. What you are saying is ATMs in Singapore don't charge fees for Singaporean banks. Thats the same in many countries. I don't think Singapores ATMs will be anything special until I can walk up to any ATM, request $1000 SGD, be presented on screen with a lightning invoice QR code, scan that with my lightning wallet and receive the cash. Also fun fact, even though Singapore seems financially advanced you can visit many merchants in Singapore and be told Visa and Mastercard are not accepted, only NETS is accepted. So for foreign tourists Singapore is very much like a backwards cash based society that doesn't even accept the worlds most used payment system Visa, and tourists have to resort to carrying cash because boost juice for example doesn't even accept Visa. Theres nothing special at all about Singapore.

What i usually do is, convert to USDC, it charges 0.99 SGD, still i make a profit. Then when it goes down i convert it back from USDC, which gives higher amount. There is conversion fees, but it's quite negligible depending on profits you make, try to take into consideration of the fees as a liability. USDC or DAO stablecoin are two options you can take a look

if your argument is a track record then GBP is superior, if we talk expansion then EUR is far more expansive. If we talk technology then USD is on par with a Peso, and far behind the systems of the EURO and many others, especially in Asia such as SGD. Every time the US sanctions a country they already bombed, the world gets one small reason to find an alternative. Slowly then suddenly. It can all go down in one day. 99% of the USD legitimacy doesn't come from FED, but from the wide use of cash in developing countries. Do you think that Burkyna Faso will adopt US CBDCs once USD cash is no longer?
