Make sure not to abbreviate that, I’ve found people don’t take too kindly when you tell them SMB

Agree completely. I think people assume capital gains is for the like 1% when in reality that’s going to push SMB entrepreneurs and home owners away from wanting to sell and halt a LOT of capital movement in illiquid assets. I barely want to sell anything I own right now and go next level because I’ll already be losing 20%… there’s no way in hell I would move with 40% burden. And for the record: I’m just an average middle-class dude, but employ and impact my small town community in very big ways. Goodbye small town America if this is the path we take.. it’ll be the final nail in the coffin on middle class.

tldr; Solana NFT marketplace Hadeswap has acquired the IP rights to Solana Monkey Business (SMB) from the original creators. The project launched in June 2021 and launched 205 initial pixel collectibles showing a monkey in space. It has generated more trading volume (in USD) than any other Solana project with at least 1,000 pieces. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. My thesis is that Solana Monkey Business (SMB) will see a floor price of $50-100k in the next bull run. Should be easy to do a 10x+

Sold all my Cardano ~$1200 for Solana. Going to use it to help buy a $6000 NFT on SOL. SMB.

Honestly, it’s difficult right now (I’ve tried). For most SMB businesses, there aren’t easy to use plugins to perform this without the help of a developer - and some platforms like Shopify have connect wallet feature in private beta, so you can’t even do it if you want to right now. Also, for small SMB and people testing POCs - it’s not worth spending a few grand on a developer to set this up right now. There will be more possible in the next 8-18 months IMO.

Ever since they moved to Dubai, it seems like content has skewed to conspiracy theories and billionaire fawning. I just watched their video on Saudi Arabia. They only uttered the word dystopian once while in other videos about China they can't use it enough. He's apologizing for a monarchy dictatorship that murders citizens for minor offenses in other countries. Hell he basically apologizes for the killing of a journalist because SMB is surrounded by yes men...really? You melt a dude in acid because of yes men?

Bitcoin needs an exclusive. Xbox had Halo, PS1 had FF7, Nintendo had SMB. Bitcoin used to have drugs, but that got taken away. It needs a new exclusive for it to actually make any sense.

>From what I understand Ripple (XRP) is built to compete with systems such as SWIFT in simplifying the global transfer of wealth with existing centralized institutions. You are conflating two separate things. XRP and the XRPL are designed to transfer value from A to B cheaply, securely, and fast. The only other project that can even attempt to compete and do what XRP is able to do is XLM. Ripple is a Fintech Company which develops payment solutions which Utilize XRP and the XRPL to help with remittance and interbank settlements. >Does anyone know the key differences, **Target demographic is different.** Stellar wants to bank the unbanked, Ripple targets Banks/Remittances/SMB/FI's pretty much anyone transferring value from A to B as a service. **Their consensus method is different.** Stellar has watcher, archivers and validator nodes. which all serve different purposes in its consensus protocol XRP has Validator, stock(api server) and Hub nodes. Stock nodes are like active citizens who elect officials to represent them on certain matters Validators are like those elected officials, with a limited and specific role Hub nodes is like a news feed, relaying information throughout the network. **Their tokenomics** They were different from the start (XLM had yearly inflation until a few years ago when Jed finally realized how bad that was) and XRP has always been deflationary. > and why they believe one might succeed over the other? I firming believe XRP will succeed over XLM for 1 main reason. Jed mcaleb is a moron in business. He was fired in 2014 for being a moron with horrible business ideas from Ripple. IIRC Chris was quoted on the topic as saying something along the line of "He will be a very very rich man, despite his best efforts"

I mean I think it's just going to be an endless cycle. You get amateurs investing in the space who are wowed by the newest, shiniest new thing and they're certain that **sperm-token** is going to be the thing that usurps BTC as the #1 crypto. Then they get burned; and then they either give up on investing altogether, or they learn to make better picks with their money moving forward. It's just part of the process, I think. But I'm sure that, come the next bull run, there will be no shortage of crypto-bros hyping up **super-mario-bros-II-token** or something equally ridiculous who will be taken completely by surprised when $SMB2 tanks and they're left holding the bag. It's just how things go around here.

One of the largest Solana NFT communities (by market cap) recently announced something similar. Called Solana monkey Business. Apart from that I haven’t heard it much from this, and I hope SMB remains an outlier.
