Crap like this is how you get people with money to leave your country or, at a minimum, find loop holes. That means a 0% tax rate on those folks. Sorry, Italians. I feel your pain. Realize you are not STUCK in a country even if you mostly love it.. Don't let the government ruin your potential financial freedom.
This is how you feel but do NOT say BTC is a better investment as a general statement only because YOU don't understand or want to navigate the RE space. If you break it down like I just did for you there is no world where BTC is a better investment in today's pricing. 10 years ago yeah definitely BTC.. Also, if BTC drops below your average cost you are STUCK and waiting and hoping it recovers. What are you doing during that time? You will be losing equity while the person who has investment properties collects rent every single month. If you don't want to be chasing after rent every month you can also hire a property management team that literally does everything for you. I literally sit back and don't do anything and collect rent. Without worrying where BTC is trending...
