Personally, i'm going to sit on my hands and wait until it is below 90k before I consider DCAing in. I was new to crypto last year and unfortunately am a case study on how not to do it 🤣 and so would like to offer this cautionary tale... I bought BTC last December during peak hype, (20k, all in one go) only to watch it fall the next day more than 10%! I panicked and then sold at a 2k loss a few days later! I then spent a few weeks "swing trading" and managed to make most of it back... Then came Trumps' election... I again, incomprehensively, made the exact same mistake again! FOMO'd back in and spent my 20k when it was near top. So... I was up, briefly, by about 800 bucks! At this point, I felt like an absolute boss! THEN IT ALL WENT TITS UP! It spent the next 4 months on downward trajectory and I think at one point I was down about 8k! Thankfully I held and then I DID sell it all when I pretty much broke even. If I had held longer and sold at peak, I would have made about 1k. If I had kept it, i'd be about 2k down 🤣 And so now, a year later, I have my 20k, more or less, intact and I feel like i've learnt a lot these 12 months! So... key learning: don't listen to these crypto influencers. Most can't be trusted. Watch their content to understand the market, but don't act on what they say in blind faith. It is very important to remember that many of them are now already millionaires and their average price is way below current levels! So their advice may be perfect for them, but not for you as a newbie. Don't buy all-in, DCA. Don't panic during small swings - embrace them! Buy the dips and sell the rips! And finally, and in my mind the most important, BE PATIENT! "Opportunity cost" is real! If I had bought BTC in April 2025 rather than December 2024, I would have made nearly 10k this year, but instead i have been lucky to make my money back lol. So back to the original question asked... My thoughts are that i'm gonna wait patiently. I don't want to be "exit liquidity" again. But as soon as the price does start to come down another 10, 15, 20% etc. I'll start thinking about buying in again. I 100% believe in BTC, but believe that if I am careful, patient, and unemotional i'll be able to scoop lower prices and sell at higher prices consistently over time so that I can compound my BTC. Reddit community, I would love your thoughts?
Honestly, I don't hold it against them. Anyone who buys $ASSCOIN, $TITS, $ELONPEPE, $67COIN, $HAWKTUAH and the like and complains is an absolute fucking moron, and it is their fault for not properly researching the coin and the crypto technology itself.

Coins ranked from 100 to 200 are low caps. Established teams with some momentum that are unlikely to get rugged. An hour or two of digging using the method I gave you will give you a dozen or so projects to research, and pick 3-4 of those. Microcaps are a whole other animal. High chance of getting scammed or rugged, and it's pure gambling. I dabbled in it last year and did ok with early plays like GIGA, TITS, and a few others. Got in around $10M market cap and exited at $200-500m. I made great money but I don't think I'd recommend that now. Some of those same coins are going to get fully rugged, including those shilled by Murad and others. This is exit liquidity season for memes - the devs and major holders are going to pump prices to lure you in, and then drop the hammer.

Thats the trade where I bought dogswithhat. At some point i was swapping it to $TITS, but eventually I swapped for $ASS because I am more of an Ass guy. But then TRUMP DOGS and ELONCUMROCKETCOIN were looking really prmoising, so I diversified some more. You still with me mr. tax advisor?

I mean it’s a yolo play lol, look at tits/Ass/anal. All went to several M market caps. It was under a 20k market cap earlier but some buys shot it up. Still way early imo, when you look at the bigger meme plays like TITS. U never know honestly in this climate, dumb shit can go to mars.
