I go away for a few days and you degens are already talking about some new shitcoin called VADER. What's the story there? What's the relation to starwars? Disclaimer: I don't trade meme coins, I just like watching their charts for entertainment reasons.
Looks like the hype for Star Wars is gone. After a 10% spike in the morning the price for $VADER has dropped below yesterday's price in the last hours.
I've sold LUNA at $90 and bought VADER (don't buy this shit). Lost lots of my stupidity.
$VADER - the Luna/usdt on Ethereum.. moved all my luna to vader, 27k to 60k, felt like genius just to go down to 100$. I guess wouldn't matter in the end as othereise Luna would have gone even lower lol.
What type of project are you looking for? - FUSE - if you'd like to bet on the next big L1, this might be a contender. It's around $170M MC and not listed on major CEXs yet. - VADER - if you'd prefer a DeFi play, this AMM might interest you. - BCOIN - if you don't mind throwing money on P2E shitcoins, this one shows a meteoric rise with the number of wallets surpasing 600k - VDR - if you're a sucker for practical utility, this one offers a monetization platform for streamers, circumventing Twitch's hefty fees. It's sitting at the bottom, waiting for the app to drop.

It’s probably using automated scraping and NLP methods, but you’re absolutely right that nuance is difficult for even the most advanced tools right now. Something similar to VADER sentiment analysis is probably used and then taken at face value.

Check out VADER. It has similar fundamentals to LUNA, back when LUNA was in its early phase. I expect it to take off the same way LUNA did. You can get it on the gate.io exchange.

I think VADER will be huge this year. Takes the best parts of LUNA, OHM and RUNE, soon to be deflationary with an entire ecosystem being built around it. Defi 3.0 will be huge this year. Also, airdrops! I've already been snapshotted for my first airdrop just from staking VADER.

This is definitely one of those articles where I'd want to see this in practice to understand it better. It appears to be taking the LUNA/UST burn/mint model for VADER/USDV and then using the OHM pioneered Protocol Owned Liquidity mechanism to cover Option B, with the idea that the additional utility of VADER in a single-sided AMM staking mechanism with xVADER and governance will encourage LP providers to take advantage in case of a de pegging. I conceptually like the idea as it takes advantage of human behavior in a panic and rewards holding the peg to make it anti-fragile but I think they overestimate the willingness to retain VADER of people seeing USDV lose its peg, which would give all the ample returns they want people to take advantage of going to their own POL treasury. This is also highly dependent on USDV adoption, and Ethereum upgrades (noted in the article) but I can see where they're coming from. I do dislike the phrasing of utility driven collateral as LUNA has quite a bit of utility on Terra for staking/bLUNA so as far as I can tell it's simply an alternative form of UDC as both would be backed by a mixture of TDC and UDC, but aside from that it's a pretty great article and cool project.
