Agreed! I take small positions each year in the top 10 stocks and usually cut some after a few months. I can pay for the subscription pretty quickly with few of the many picks I got from SA like CLS, APP, GCT, CREDO, and now POET. Just got into options and poet was my first buy, sold them after a recent run up. Had alpha picks for a few years, dropped it this year after they kept picking repeats. Like the quant and the ratings for each stock. Also like the trade tracking, have to import manually but tracks daily and total gains. Super annoying is I'll get a "strong buy" article then 5 mins later a "sell" article from a different author. Just have to do your own research

NVDA single handedly responsible for 80% of my lifetime investment gains. If I were to do it again, I wouldn't be investing in 3T+ companies that everyone knows about. You will be waiting 20 years or more for 10x. Just need to hit one huge stock, and they're commonly found in the xx billion market cap area. Find that PLTR, CLS, APP, IREN etc. A story can 10x or 20x a stock before fundamentals ever matter. I once invested in PLTR at IPO then sold because of financials, but if I held it would be a 20x stock. If you land on one or even two stocks that does 20x or 50x, it more than makes up for junk that goes nowhere or down. Then you're all set for an index fund portfolio.

Gen Alpha is the APP generation, most of them will have their first exposure to desktop programs through some Android/IOS version of the original tool. Adobe despite having its own app versions it's precense in these ecosystems is severely lacking. LEAP Puts on Adobe imo.

I look for firms that will grow slowly, that will maybe double in value over three or four years, and where that growth is clearly tied to growing business. Once in a while a company‘s share price will shoot up in the short term without a clear connection to their business, and when that happens I get nervous. SMCI did this; I bought them about three years ago, and the share price grew ten fold in 18 months. For me that was an obvious sell, and I’m happy to have sold when I did. I now have that again with Applovin, having bought it a year and a half ago. I haven’t yet sold because the insane growth in APP’s share price seems to be grounded in insane growth in their business. But I’ll probably trim some soon.

I see APP has a SEC probe and gets an upgrade to $880 or something which would put it bigger than CRM. Many more, all the big banks are doing it constantly on ai and growth stocks

It’s tough to find a penny tech stock unicorn. NUAI has may be on its way of becoming one although i still have my doubts. You really need to do your DD to uncover these gems. I feel that NIXX is a very undervalued AI stock and could be a big gainer in the future. I have also made some decent money on larger cap AI stocks like SOUN, TSSI, etc. I am watching to see if TSSI dips further to buy in again. Right now, I am also buying slowly into PATH, POET, GRRR, etc. I feel that APP has more room to run as well…..

I sold ROOT. Made about $120k or so on it. Also shorted APP recently and made about $110k. Made a dumb trade shorting TSLA and lost some but overall up a good amount past few months. I have three separate portfolios with different brokers. This one is a single stock/high risk portfolio. I do large trades in single stocks with tight stop losses, but I let my winners ride. This portfolio started with $50k in 2020 and it’s at $1.27M now. I also have a low risk long term portfolio (never sell portfolio). It’s mostly ETFs but I have a few individual stocks in there, all safeish long hold stocks for me like NVDA and UNH. Then i have a dividend portfolio. It’s all high dividend plays. CLO funds and low-risk REITs mostly, but also have some bond funds and a few high dividend stocks. I get average 5% yield in that with minimal volatility. I use it mostly for income. Pretty low risk as well.

Honestly one directional I would say gives the best returns if you have a good technical or fundamental analysis strategy. I personally trade options on mostly high momentum stocks like APP, COIN, PLTR, etc. I don’t know much about trading spy or qqq but keep it simple.

Applovin: APP Bought and sold in the 30’s and finally sold at 55 bucks. Then I had to buy 100 shares at 70 bucks and when it went 100 bucks over night I sold half at 140. Then began selling off shares when it went from 170 to 300 bucks overnight again. Sold my last 10 shares at 400. The sad part is I had 300 shares at 37. Be worth 180k today with an over 2,000 % return

Look at APP they had an insane run where we’d go up 100%+ between earnings, and it would still gap up on earnings beat/guidance raises, and that continued for so long. No one with conviction in NBIS is selling it in the first inning of the upcoming massive AI buildout
