Personally, I think HOOD has a higher probability of success than APP. It seems that APP had some suspected fraud issues before. But considering that even SMCI was able to enter SP, it's hard to say for sure.

If you are trying to trade the IV, you'd want to sell a call and not buy the put.

It's kind of up to you, but I would do something like the following: Buy: Jul 11 1240 Sell: Jun 13 1210 (x2) Buy: Jun 13 1180 Debit = 25.31 (this is what my platform shows) I do a fair amount of these. You can play around with the strikes and expirations as it suits you. I don't usually go out so far with the back leg. There's a definite risk with these that you get the direction right but the move blows past your center strikes. That's happened to me a few times. You could also just do a week by week butterfly strategy, trying to catch the move when it happens, if it happens. I have one similar to this going for APP, which I think is a much better bet for a sudden downward move.

I noticed something very unusual with $APP (AppLovin) on May 28. 📈 The stock spiked **over $14 after-hours**, but only had **~4,600 trades**. ❌ There was **no earnings report**, **no press release**, and **no major news** to explain this sharp move. 💸 I was holding PUT options and took a large loss due to this sudden price spike in low liquidity. To me, this feels highly suspicious — possibly an attempt to pump the price up in the AH session before dumping on retail the next day. I've already filed a report to **SEC and FINRA**. Well i could see this fast rebound as a “Return to Normal” phase before another big leg down, otherwise this bull market rips on or maybe just stagnates for awhile. we’ll see. I see so many bubbles. Tesla is so obvious, missing revs by $2B, brand in turmoil and up from $220 to $350 in a month. Everyone like well in 2000 they were IPOing companies with practically zero revenue, well what do you think Quantum companies are? PLTR is 100xs sales is insane, MSTR diluting the crap out of shareholders with a zero revenue biz to buy BTC, CVNA, APP, etc. Markets will always have their bubbles, but this has been 5+ years on some of these.
