Idk i was short a bunch of shit and had puts so pretty decent but i closed some shorts / puts too early especially on CRWD, AMD and APP but they were so tough for so long so felt like they’d bounce back. long shares getting crushed. April 2025 was much worse but this seems pretty bad and were in year 4 of a bull market. If it falls apart like 2022 people are going to be suffering. Some software is back at that level now

Can I first say I have $1.5mm worth of MU, which I bought in 2015 at $14.50 a share? I’m not buying memory right now, I’m incrementally taking profit. I would not advise anyone to be buying memory stocks right now. I recently added a few shares of APH. I have quite a bit of APP, which I bought in early 2024; after last week’s drop I plan to add some shares this week. And I bought some JBL last week. I’m not making any big purchases these days. But those are three companies that I’m optimistic enough to buy a small share.

Today was my overall strange, lots of things were moving at the same time. Probably big money chose it as it is end of the month. And closing their positions, combined with other factors like fed nominee, Google Gemini etc….and algorithms were triggered creating a domino effect. And some stocks like APP were just caught in crossfire

Crazy week, made $$. Could have done much more. So hard to time puts, so tired of getting them scorched. I put in limit orders beginning of day that sometimes get hit so quick. i had 2 CVNA $470p, 2 CVNA $430p, 2 APP $550p (Sold too early), 2 SNDK $610p, bunch of QQQ puts, some STX $420. Some MU I bought SNDK at open but some of tha other stuff was worthless until it collapsed today. Market is just crazy. Im gonna keep shorting chips but with more caution and stacking shares on Saas stuff.

So screening just gives you idea to jump from. This is gearing towards GARP, growth at a responsible price. Looking at APP, valuation doesn't look too bad from a PEG level, but the PS, PB, and PC is pretty high. Second step is I run the name through quickfs like [https://quickfs.net/company/APP:US](https://quickfs.net/company/APP:US) I like to see the trend of ROIC, EPS growth, Margins and Revenue from here. I actually use like an LLM to run a DFC as well to see what the instrict value of the company is. So APP is just an interesting name, since some things look expensive while other look good. To me, this is a hard company to get a gauge on, so personally, I would just pass on it. Doesn't mean it's a bad investment or anything, but if I can't get a good grasp, I don't have confidence to buy. I also don't know much about the ad markets as well.

First, don’t listen to me! I enjoy risk, and I’m very patient. I buy small amounts of many things and hold them for decades; I get winners and losers, but over the long term the ones that do well easily bury the ones that don’t, since over years an equity can gain 10,000%, but can only ever lose 100%. So, again, don’t listen to me! All that said, I’ve recently added TE Connectivity (TEL) and ResMed (RMD). I would consider adding some AAPL in its current dip before next week’s earnings, but already have too much. Applovin (APP) is up 600% since I bought it, but it’s retreated quite a bit from its peak and the current dip may be an opportunity to add some.
