Seems to be some strong downtrends developing on consulting stocks recently. ACN, BAH, IT, CDW, FCN etc.
One thing I find crazy about media's influence is that they command more control over "buy and hold" type investors compared to more frequent traders. Those who are tuned into the system, do not need to be told what they should do since they have a consistent opinion that gets updated daily/weekly. But the BAH investors see Ackman crying on TV and think they forgot to update their thesis and transact some % of portfolio, just cause they were never tuned into the system.

I just don't really agree with the market valuations and am willing to sacrifice the gains to have cash and enjoy myself now, probably spend a lot of it then start adding to my stock positions if their prices start making sense .. still looking for deals out there, BAH, CHWY, ERIC, PYPL, and RYCEY are a handful that have done super good for me last couple years, I like stuff like that but the magnificent 7 and nasdaq just seem way overbought and I'm not risking 20-40% drawdown at the risk of losing out on even bigger gains, I'd rather spend my money on my life than try and chase the market up and potentially lose hard earned funds but I still put some towards like broad based funds and bonds and stuff for retirement I've taken a lot of profit and don't feel like allocating extra funds to equities when cash is still around 4% and I'm looking at never being able to afford owning a home right now lol sorry for the rant you got me talking to myself

Just stumbled on this company and researching it... Reference LDOS and BAH, at this point I don't think they deserve the same multiple. BAH seems to have much better contracts with more guaranteed money. That said, I do think that AMTM can be close to a CACI and other second tier names. Plus, I'm really impressed by the spectrum of their business. Space, drones, nuclear.... there's a lot of potential here. Did you end up buying?

Being in with sold puts is fair. BAH has been one of my go-to’s for years and long term they will bounce back but there’s more room for them to bleed. The street is terrified about DOGE’s impact and there’s gonna be a lot of volatility as vendors lower their guidance in 1Q

CACI earnings basically kickstarted led to all the Fed IT vendors taking a beating the last few weeks. Went all in on that one and got burnt. CACI beat Wall Street expectations and even raised its guidance…but stock price dumped because of a seasonal drop in bookings (that other vendors had warned about over the summer) because everyone’s terrified about DOGE. I actually like LDOS, BAH and CACI long term but am now staying away from them…at least until Trump’s budget is proposed. LDOS probably will post good numbers but Wall Street are gonna look for any reason to dump. Hoping you actually make some money on this one
