Because it is not a Bitcoin ETF... you invested into a bitcoin like ETF that uses futures and swaps to attempt and reproduce the Bitcoin market movements... but it is not a Bitcoin ETF. Next time, read carefully about the things you invest in... IBIT, FBTC, BTCO, BTCW are all direct Bitcoin ETFs...
Sell for a loss and buy some VTI QQQM NVDA BTCO. Don’t kill urself. Fuck benzos.
Looks like it headed right back to where it started at open on IPO. Then it can go in either direction. But it’s been going down since it reached its peak on IPO around 148. Everyone is different but I play with options, and only buy VTI QQQM & BTCO to invest long term. Good luck 🙏
02-10-2024 BTCO is $60.19
Im talking about all the new btc etfs. Like BTCO, GBTC, etc.
Not financial advice. Do your own research High returns 1. Risky but lower risk - Semiconductor ETF (SOXX or SOXQ). Highest ETF return in the last 5 years. 2. Risky - Coinbase stock and Bitcoin ETF (IBIT or BTCO).
BITB/BTCO/etc. are certainly allowed, right?
Get in on BTCO, it's a bitcoin ETF, and it's doing great👍🏼
BTCO BTCW IBIT GBTC FBTC BITO. Fidelity, Blackrock, all of these ETFs are the most successful ETFs in all of these company’s histories.
BITB and BTCO for long term hodling. I'm also very lightly dabbling into blockchain technologies.
Yes, in my HSA. 1/3 BTCO, 2/3 VOO
How did the funds set nav price? I kind of expected them all to be BTCO or BTCW (around 1/100 of BTC price).
I'd check on Monday, or at the latest, a week from Monday. If they don't have them by then, they probably won't get them for a while, if ever. Not every new equity gets options. We'll have to wait and see who has the largest AUM after the first few days. The higher the AUM of the new fund, the more likely it will get options. High average daily volume might also win options. So far, AUM/volume is looking like: * FBTC: ?/16.8M * IBIT: 704K/37.7M * HODL: ?/482K * BTCO: ?/967K I didn't bother with the others, as they are probably similar to the smaller players like HODL. IBIT is the Blackrock fund and the most likely leader for AUM and volume, and that's holding up so far, but it's only been one full market day. That said, it is possible that every one of the 11 new spot BTC funds will get options. You may not like the options, as they could be monthly-only with huge spreads, but they might all get them.
No options on BTCO yet? So lame.
