I would listen to this guy. He knows a thing or two about down trends (he was long CPRI)

CPRI is interesting. In 2020 shot up fast from about 25-35. In 2024 dropped fast from 41-19. It doesn’t really look like that gap has ever been filled. Get above the 26 high back in January and you’re in an area without much resistance I’d say. Gonna keep an eye on it. It has doubled in 5 months so probably a lot of people willing to sell their profit on any bad news
CPRI is the new OPEN (it’s not)
Ok I’m out of CPRI. Turns out the Sydney Sweeney effect has faded
For those of you out of the loop: CPRI owns Jimmy Choo. Sydney Sweeney is lending her assets to the brand
Someone do TA on the CPRI chart and tell that it’s making a saved by Sydney Sweeney’s tits pattern
CPRI finna break out. Thanks Sydney Sweeney
Without Sydney Sweeney a ETF, I gotta figure this shit out on my own. CPRI Calls [https://us.jimmychoo.com/en/jc-world-pages/stories-presenting-the-autumn-2025-campaign.html](https://us.jimmychoo.com/en/jc-world-pages/stories-presenting-the-autumn-2025-campaign.html)
Sydney Sweeney dropped another ad! Jimmy choo shoes. $CPRI calls it is
I bought $CPRI calls cause of the Sydney Sweeney ads and I’m already up 70% I’m so regarded
I want to trim some of my C, CPRI, and CSIQ positions.
Buyout offer of $1.4Bn. Current CPRI EV is $1.8-$1.9Bn which means that Jimmy Choo and Michael Kors are valued at less than $500m. Given that Michael Kors is not a luxury brand and has high single digit reliance on manufacturing in China, my sense is that they won't be overly affected by the china tariffs and that the brand will not face the economic headwinds of other more premium priced brands. Discount retailers should fare slightly better with an impending recession and that's the MK audience.
Prada is closed to acquire Versace. Thoughts on CPRI calls a few weeks out?
Prada may buy Versace this week from $CPRI, good be for calls if it goes through.
What do you think about Para and CPRI?
I hope that guy that thinks CPRI is going to get purchased and it's going to shoot up to $30 is right. I bought more calls on Friday.
CPRI Buyout today , this weekend or Monday. PRADA CEO and Miuccia Prada's Son flew into NY to meet with CPRI, The Deal is expected to close. hoping they just buy the whole company $35+
Shorts are marching slowly out of CPRI with the potential pending buy offer looming.
CPRI gave Prada 4 week exclusive to go over their books and make the bid for Versace and possibly Jimmy Choo. Those 4 weeks are almost up. Now today it is announced Donnatella Versace steps down and a Former Prada Exec will be taking the helm 4/1 so i feel the formal deal will.come.out next week or 2 and it could make the stock at least go to the $30s from here IMHO
CPRI BREAKS $21 still low volume, when the news comes out it will fly
CPRI take off by next week
Donatella Versace has stepped down as creative director and has been replaced by Mr Vitale who was formally head of design at MIUMIU ( A Prada owned company) Looks like the writing is on the wall and the PRADA Buyout of CPRI is coming soon , one of the only green stocks today. when they announce the deal it can run to the $30s IMO time to get on the gravy train ! CPRI
Rily 5.5 calls evaporated, along with 10$ calls on LUNR At this point its better just to go few weeks out exp. OTM on CPRI Holdings. At least the suspense of a deal never coming together for the buyout will be worth burning the 5K. TLDR - better to lose 20 hands of blackjack than to lose 100$ on a single play at the roulette table
CPRI Squeeze Gping to make CPRI Sun today
CPRI
CPRI short squeeze candidate from the news of Prada agreeimg to buy Versace from them for 1.6 bill
Time to buy into CPRI Prada has agreed to a price of 1.6B to buy Versace from Cpri most likely more details coming this week. Imo $30-35 soon
When CPRI gets sold for parts the upside is going to come in hard and fast like Peter North
CPRI and Tapestry merge will go through in 2025...
Yea i bought CPRI, you wanna fight about it
I got into Palantir a couple of weeks ago. That's been my best recent play. I don't have any other big plays lined up for now. But there are a few recent big dips that I'm planning to research before getting into them some time soon: TMDX, CPRI, ASML, CROX, and AMKR
CPRI dead.
Pls LCID and CPRI
When Elon and Trump fire Lena Kahn the CPRI and Tapestry merger will go through. CPRI is already sold at $57.00 a share, you can buy now at the low low price of $21.90 This is an easy double right here !
I told yall fckers about CPRI. Easiest bag ever. It’s a $40 stock minimum now that the old administration is out.
SAVE and CPRI. Lina Khan can’t hurt them no more. CPRI is probably the safer bet. Easily double from here if they win the appeal.
CPRI going to fly back to $40 after ORANGE MAN Fires anti business FTC Chair witch Lena Kahn.
I'd say that there are a few things I look at VERY briefly (obviously times have changed since I was working at the prop shop). Technical analysis is frankly useless 99.9% of the time- knowing when to actually utilize it is key. For example, CPRI was $35 pre-offer, and trading at \~$41.50 right before the deal was shut down by the FTC. The lowest it reached AH during the announcement was \~$17.50 before it did a bit of a bounce back to $23. I'm trying to take advantage of these moments of chaos where stock prices are irrational - the same could be said for shorting like GME at $400, DJT at $50, SMCI at $1000 presplit, I agree that additional news is far more important than technicals on the chart- the best trades have everything align- the chart for the day, the chart for the past 90 days, news, large move, meaningful catalyst, etc. Trades that only have one thing going for them are coin flips at best. If technical analysis and fundamental analysis contradict each other then I'd likely just size down or sit out. For example, I didn't have TOO much CPRI since I'm no M&A analyst and that's not my area of expertise but I thought that CPRI was undervalued after being valued at 50% of what the original pre-deal price was. A bit of background reading always helps to be a little more informed than someone who is just buying blindly, which is why I post an interesting news article along with every watchlist.
Very tempted to go all in on CPRI
CPRI Short Squeeze my nuts whaaa?
CPRI calls cuz antitrust ain’t real
This week was awesome, I lost 5gs on CPRI Calls but who cares now 10k plus on SMCI puts almost 4k on ROOT Call and about to book close to 10k in CLOV Cash secured puts tomorrow. What are your thoughts on a DKNG Earnings play? trying to research that now
OMG SMCI was a gift from the heavens, all my PUTs printed big I am up for the week even with POS CPRI denting me $6k
i almost bought 100 shares few days ago. glad i didn't as i already got F(ed) by CPRI few days ago
CPRI big selling is finally over, lower volume this is starting to retrace back to the upside to a more resonable SP. Easy money here jump on in the waters fine
CPRI its a wound spring
You guys are sleeping on CPRI there is a lot of upside here and they started the injunction to push for the merger at $57 again stating the block was a mistake. investors are starting to pile in and the shorts will start to buy back soon they already made their money.
CPRI injunction filed this morning with both companies putting in their arguement on why this merger makes sense. investors will start to pile in today.
CPRI ready to rip big om Monday way oversold
CPRI calls, thank me later
CPRI thoughts : an activist like Elliot steps in here. buys 11% of the company replaces half or more the board seats and piece meal sells this for more then the sum of its parts. this is an activist cash grab wait and see.
CPRI plunged but fundamentally is still a good stock. I think it will recover swiftly. Bought some call options.
CPRI Monday Rockets
Damn I may even regret my tiny CPRI lotto lol
Highly regretting CPRI already
Gonna pick up some CPRI leaps. Nothing stopping them from selling to someone else or splitting up the brands and selling to private equity
Prediction : CPRI gets a buyout offer over the weekend, Stock shoots 10-15 points to the upside Monday Morning.
CPRI play has a lot of potential : Here is my thesis Someone is going to offer to buy this company over the weekend, catch the SS with their pants down. I have seen this game played before. It will be a face ripper to the upside next week. Load up now .
CPRI will bounce at least 20% from 21.56$
With even the slightest good news on Capri CPRI this thing could literally rip back 10 points or more. I am throwing a few bucks on this Pony. Some think a private firm might come and scoop it up on the cheap with the private buyout offer. LETS GO !
Picked up 5k shares of $CPRI at $22.17. Instantly down 2k already. FML
Lots of knee jerk scoffing and ranting about the TPR/CPRI merger block. Sure, at the most superficial level it sounds funny to care about two fashion brands merging. But if you read the actual case, and FTC’s mandate, then it’s quite clear why they were right to pursue it and why every qualified panel and judge who has looked it at in careful detail agreed wholeheartedly. It’s not just about having choice and capitalist consumerism for handbags or jackets. And it’s not *just* about protecting the interests of the employees, tenants, suppliers, and co-retailers. It’s about blocking the deliberate and patent creation of a exploitive monopoly, something thag is in FTCs mandate to prevent. And by doing so, with unanimous confirmation by every qualified expert, it sends a proactive message to other corrupt opportunist in any sector or business who might have wanted to try their luck at flouting our anti-monopoly laws. Some who understand this deeper reasoning may still complain that truly big monopolies or oligopolies are not being held to account as strictly. But a properly functioning FTC has to prioritize winning cases along with going up against behemoths who will go to any lengths. FTC winning some cases establishes good precedent and acts as a deterrent.
CPRI on a bounce-back is the move today.
CPRI getting wrecked because a merger got blocked. Can it recovery? IDK. Worth risking a small position on some shares I guess.
$CPRI (Michael Cors) probably worth a buy. They will likely appeal the court decision to block merger with Tapestry (Coach)
CPRI 0DTE 25 calls? Surely not that regarded
It really depends on the situation, and how I assess it. For example, I sometimes buy news that moves stocks to the downside that I think are far, far oversold, like CPRI today afterhours. Their pre-deal price was $35 yet they were trading as low as 18.30-$20 for quite a while. Sometimes I think that stocks that have run far are due for a correction (like OKLO/NNE/mini-reactor stocks) and want to short them. I've essentially developed a "lens" for viewing these catalysts and how to trade them over time and experience.
the regard who is holding 300+ $40P on CPRI is going to wake up rich tomorrow.
CPRI overreaction? Calls calls calls
Whoever had CPRI puts just got a fucking bag.
No target, really, but I wouldn't be shocked if it ended up back in the 30s. This isn't like SAVE or IRBT, since CPRI can easily survive without the merger.
CPRI is way oversold here. It was at $35 when the merger was announced in August of 2023.
CPRI and Tapestry merger blocked GUH
The volume on $25 CPRI puts was huge. I wonder why 🤡
Alright who had puts on CPRI?
CPRI getting dropped AH.
I've been wheeling for well over a decade and I can tell you first hand that 4-6%/month is 100% sustainable. I have been mentoring surgeons and anesthesiologists on this topic for years (friends of mine) helping them make the most of their money. Wheeling is by far the best, repeatable methodology in my experience for creating monthly income with options, with the lowest risk. Utilizing $66,000 on the scans that I pulled out of ThinkOrSwim yesterday provided no less than 10 opportunities to reap between $4,000-$7,000 in the next 45 days. Here is just one example: CPRI: Nov 15 $30 strike PUT. The ROR is 14.2% and the strike was priced 42.7% away from the last traded price which is amazing (usually I target for 20%). For $66k you could have sold 22 contracts and received $8,140 in premium with 43 DTE. Take a look at it today and check it out. Anyone can find trades like this and similar almost everyday if you know what you're looking for. I've been trading and investing for over 20 years and wheeling for over 10 years and have never found a better method for generating income. Consistency is the single most important thing for me and if a strategy/method cannot be consistent then it has no value. Wheeling is THE most consistent strategy I personally have ever used. I'm not a 'guru' or selling anything, just a private trader/investor but I have friends that manage spare cash of companies like T-Mobile and other large organizations and I can tell you personally this is a strategy they use constantly to put that money to work for them. It's through these large fund managers that I learned this years ago. It's real. It works. But you have to put in the time to learn how to find the types of candidates that have "meat on the bone". If you have ThinkOrSwim, then that part is easy. I then dump the screened data into a spreadsheet I built to sort and make sense of the best candidates. This method is not super easy, but it's not super hard either. A person has to commit to becoming a student of it and dedicate time to learning it like a 2nd language. If I can do it, you can too. Problem is that most people are looking for a lottery ticket and want to learn something in a week. Put the time in to learn it well (3-6 months) and your world will change going forward.
Looks like the market is becoming more confident the $CPRI deal goes through
I opened a position in CPRI a position in CPRI just before the court proceedings started for the acquisition by Tapestry. I’ve done some strangles to reduce my cost basis, and today [sold a ratio put](https://inactiveinvestments.com/ratio-put-to-reduce-cost-basis/) to get my cost basis down to $24.70 per share. I’m not comfortable doing a bunch of these right now because the longer this goes on the more likely it is that the following week is when the judge issues a ruling. Has anyone heard the timeline for the ruling?
What I am watching: [$CPRI](https://x.com/search?q=%24CPRI&src=cashtag_click) [$AGI](https://x.com/search?q=%24AGI&src=cashtag_click) [$PTON](https://x.com/search?q=%24PTON&src=cashtag_click) [$RYTM](https://x.com/search?q=%24RYTM&src=cashtag_click) [$APLS](https://x.com/search?q=%24APLS&src=cashtag_click)
Oi oi oi, thanks for all the profit on LYFT NVDA PTON CPRI FFIE and other goodies. Lordy lord. Then again it's wall street 'bets' - we bet with 'NEW' deposits haha. This sometimes is odd mixery of tutti frutti. So much golden nuggets and so much pain.
You sure it's unusual? 17th isn't that where they start with their 'estimated cashflows' - where 'expected cashflows' - will become 'actual cashflows?' Don't they have a fat juicy one back that day? https://gangwaze.com/cruise-lines/carnival-cruise-lines/carnival-miracle/2025-01-17/9-nights - have you noticed the unusual options at CPRI? - I typed it in and it appears no one noticed.
RKLB calls EXPE puts CPRI calls
CPRI will drop on earnings today, would be best to short IMO
Mixed bag for sure. BLDR crushed it, NLS went to 0, TAP went up and down. No megacaps for me now. Portfolio is heavily weighted towards CPRI with the merger arb, then BLDR and STLA.
But CPRI calls if you are confident of Trump. Trump administration will let the merger through. Else need to wait for court order
Stock is back to where it was pre merger announcement. Now, I know CPRI had shit earnings, so it arguably would be lower if the market was pricing in a 0% chance of the deal happening, but this feels weird, it would be like an 80% return now if the merger goes through. Now I read what I could of the initial FTC complaint (1/4 of it is redacted), and the responses from TPR and CPRI, followed the proceedings, etc. I agree that the case hinges on ultimately what is defined as the relevant market. Similar cases seen by the FTC are from 1993 (Ballpoint pens) and 2007 (Whole Foods) and the scoreboard on those is 1-1. FTC has updated the guidelines twice since then. Idk. Stock probably goes down to 17-22 if the merger doesn't happen? So like napkin math 60% deal doesn't happen?
Tpr is in the process of trying to acquire Cpri. CPRI is in the dumpster because of doubts that the acquistion can be completed. Rather gamble on CPRI getting that 57 a share
