Good comments— thanks. The analysis was only looking at who had dropped most and who were in debt. From there, we have to use more fundamental and growth prospects to determine which ones would be a good choice. I agree that AYR and Ianthus are out and should be avoided. Personally, I am focusing on GRUSF which I’ve been holding, AAWH, which wasn’t even mentioned, and Verano. Just buying MSOS probably get you most of the games without as much as the risk.
I asked GR OK to assist me in analyzing all of the tier went through for stocks and coming up with a list of the best most likely to jump in a rally on Monday. Here’s what we found.: Re-ranked incorporating GRUSF (boosts growth/debt relief score; displaces Glass House slightly due to GRUSF’s deeper YTD discount). Est. targets on Dec 15 confirmation. 1. Ayr Wellness (AYRWF, Tier 2): Still #1—crushing -89% YTD + massive debt ($450M) = 80-120% upside to $0.60-0.70 on relief. 2. Grown Rogue (GRUSF, Tier 3): New entrant; -56% YTD + top growth (+26%) + low debt = high-beta play for 40-70% jump to $0.42-0.51. NJ focus adds state catalyst. 3. Cresco Labs (CRLBF, Tier 1): Holds for debt wall ($516M) exposure; 50-80% to $3.50+ via tax-funded expansions. It also liked Verano and OGI and some of the initial queries. I can attest that Verano has drop massively and that they have problems with that which will be helped by relief of 280 E. This query was not defined the most solid companies like green thumb, but to look for those that have been most beaten down most likely due to debt and I think higher AYR is really the top wrong with Ianthus which I had completely forgotten about ( remember old Hadley?)
I managed to pair down so now just 5000 shares of GRUSF, 100 shares of TC NNF in a small holding of a AWH. Feels really good to be separating from this sector! I want to hold a little bit so I won’t have that regret if we do have a tremendous rally. Something like GRUSF could probably go to $10 which case I’d be up 30,000%

Grown rogue (GRUSF) reports increases of 20 to 30% across-the-board. They reported after hours so I’m hoping for a nice bounce. However, I’ve been around long enough to know that in the cannabis industry, this might be rewarded with a dramatic sell off!

I think most of MSOis probably not tvat different I. Quality. They use the same technology. There are companies like GRUSF that produce top shelf but I hear stories about quality and I don’t trust that info.

Best fundamentals in the industry, making cash aquisitions and aggressively expanding with the goal of being the first craft cannabis international brand. Grown Rogue will uplist and continue to outperform and jump Tiers along the way. Greatest growth potential IMO

I feel like I saw someone post here recently talking about Bright Green (BGXX) and how it is a scam. That doesn't make sense, but I'm no professional. Can someone explain why this company is (or isn't) worth attention? What about Safe Harbor Financial (SHFS) or Blue Diamond (BLDV)? WeedMaps (MAPS)? I know Grown Rogue (GRUSF/GRIN) is a winner, though I rarely see it spoken of here. I don't intend to leave this post up very long, I'm just curious why none of these names (be they quality or terrible) are discussed. Is that intentional?
Stocks closer to their 52 week high than low (above mid-range) OK looking at our Schwab account I have a watchlist full of cannabis stocks that I follow so it's easy to see which are performing better in their 52 week range. These are the stocks that are above the mid-range between 52 week-lows-highs in share price - all others I follow are below mid-range. I've arranged them in order with IIPR being the closest to their 52-week high. You've experienced less pain this last year and maybe even made some good money if you have had these in your portfolio. Currently Vireo Growth & Trulieve are in our portfolio. Innovative Industrial Properties, Inc. (IIPR) - very close to their 52 week high Glass House Brands Inc. (GLASF) Vireo Growth (VREOF) Grown Rogue (GRUSF) High Tide Inc. (HITI) Trulieve (TCNNF) - barely above mid-range Auxly Cannabis Group (CBWTF) - exactly at mid-range at time of this post Am I missing any stocks above there 52 week mid-range price?
Green Thumb is doing well. I hold a lot of the big companies but some lesser known with good brands are TerrAscend (TSNDF) and Grown Roque (GRUSF). I also hold MSOS I think it will be the most popular etf after the initial booms.
My favorite so far is Grown Rogue (GRUSF). I'm also still new to investing as a whole, but that one is a winner. CLSH is also worth looking into. NLCP has already been mentioned, but grab some of that for sure.
Just keep loading! I'm up to 110k shares and will be adding another 50k shares once my cash settles. I'm also actively skimming profit off some of my other overweight bags that are now in the green and flipping that into CBSTF. Even with the 80% increase, it's still massively undervalued when looking at their assets. I think people are afraid when they look at the balance sheet and see that debt to asset ratio... but if compare this to other "tier 2s," it's not that bad (i.e. look at Jushi). Also, an interesting comparison is Grown Rogue to CBSTF. At the surface, it looks like GRUSF has a stronger balance sheet, but once you understand CBSTF's debt responsibilities the balance sheet feels less scary and CBSTF has a much larger footprint. Not knocking Jushi or GRUSF, just using them as interesting comps that are both trading at 2x what CBSTF is currently trading at.
Which US (the more reputable the better) broker can you buy stocks like GRUSF?
Look for the following: Fundamentals: High inside ownership Low institutional investment Cashflow positive Current with filings Hot up and coming sector Technicals: Low float or reduced float compared to authorized or issued and outstanding (security needs structure) Close to 52 week Low Low volume (lacks liquidity) I used this strategy to find $GRUSF I have a million shares at 10c, it's a 10 to 20xer from here.
I can't understand why people are flocking to MJ companies that are losing tons of money per quarter, but GRUSF is just starting to get attention while expanding like crazy without debt or watering down of shares. Oh well, I am in for the rocket ride!

Big add to GRUSF... interesting. Doubled that share count and went further into debt. My chart was off quite a bit with the iNAV... close was off by over 3 cents. When the relative weightings unknowingly change a lot from the previous day that can throw it off a bit.

I don’t hear very much mentioned about grown rogue, GRUSF, which is up 411% in past year. Free cash flow for past several quarters and expanding into NJ. It seems to be a winner in a sea of losers. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this gem?
GRUSF's CEO has discussed acquiring GDNSF. I think GRUSF wants to grow rather than sell out to a suitor.

Don't sleep on GRUSF. I'm already up 7x and it's got another 10x to go.
At the time they were one of the only profitable companies in the industry. They were successful in one of the hardest and most competitive state industries. They had arguably the lowest overhead per pound in the industry. They have tons of additional land in Rogue Valley already paid for to further reduce costs as they grow. No lease backs. The only company that came close was glasshouse in California. I was cautious with glasshouse though due to glasshouse lawsuits about fueling the black market. All of their growth was organic and they had been extremely conservative in their expansion process and they were doing it while maintaining FCF. It felt like a no-brainer. Of all the stocks I own, I will likely never sell GRUSF. I have no intentions of doing so. I guess we will see if they get acquired and who acquires them as this market consolidates.

$GTBIF would be the safe bet. I myself invested in the $MSOS ETF and also added Grown Rogue ($GRUSF) as a long play. $GRUSF is carving out a nice little niche in the industry by specializing in premium craft cannabis at low prices. Most of 15k I've made in weed stocks is by them being up 404.55% in the past year.

Some smaller ones doing well are GRUSF and TSNDF. CGC is the most volatile and constantly at risk of RS. TLRY hasn't been doing well but they are diversified and could turn it around. GTBIF is actually profitable and doing the best of the large companies IMO. Also you could just accumulate MSOS and chill.

My broker wont let me touch GRUSF with a 10ft pole so I tend to not pay attention, I also got FUCKED by GRAMF which is now GRAM after the spac deal and the insiders made out like kings and wiped their asses with shareholders, story might be different now(key word is might) STHZF ill look into it more but it has climbed a bit from the bottom I remember someone quietly buying blocks of in the last 3 months

Nice call, GRUSF is only headed in one direction for a very long time. It's a very well operated company, and management knows their craft.
Tier 3 companies are in the best positions. GRUSF is my favorite one, followed by CXXIF, which just paid off their debt. While all these companies are struggling, a select few are at 52 week highs, and GRUSF is trading at ATH.

GRUSF is a great company, stock doing well for me. They are one of the few companies making a profit, and should do really well as things progress federally.

I think they will go higher but not at the same rate as better companies. They are good for a buyout but won’t matter if these companies can gain access to other capital. That’s why they wanted cronos was the cash position. I have my hands in GRUSF, GTI, and TCNNF all US based. Only Canadian company I like is HITI.

That's right. GRUSF, Grown Rogue is posting profits as well.
They’re successful in Oregon and Michigan right now. Those states are ultra competitive with inventories in oversupply. They’re set up to be a high quality low cost producer in the craft segment. My opinion is that low cost producers are going to win in the long run, which is why I’m so attracted to GLASF and GRUSF. My strategy is to find companies that are already making money in this space while competition is fierce and 280E tax regulations are in play. If those companies can succeed now, I’m more confident that the upcoming tailwinds will benefit them the most. I do have positions in the larger MSOs, but they’re weighted much smaller. I’m betting higher on these little guys that seem to know what they’re doing, and not expanding to just expand. CURLF is a good example of an MSO that I think overplayed their hand and is now pulling out of markets to keep cash flow going.
Their market cap is about 43M. With their growth plans, it seems like they could easily get to 100M in revenue in the next 4-5 years. Granted, my time horizon is in years, not months. I like Glass House Brands (GLASF) even more than GRUSF. I have positions in both, though.
GRUSF - Glass House Brands. They have an actual competitive edge with their greenhouse and So Cal location. Last quarter there were able to produce at $139 a pound, which is insane. They’re targeting $120 a pound. They’re primed to be a low cost producer in the ultra competitive market there. They’re able to compete and win in the current oversupplied market there and still make money. Wholesale prices were in the mid $300s. When prices rise back after the supply gut, they’re gonna be printing money. Not to mention they have another greenhouse coming online early next year.
I'm not in here all the time (not yet), but it seems like I don't see much talk about Grown Rogue (GRUSF). Is it not attractive? What am I missing?

Yeah, Green thumb is already profitable while most large companies losing millions. I also like TSNDF and GRUSF.
If you want the cannabis exposure GLASF and GRUSF are 10x better companies than TLRY will ever be.
Also Grown Rogue (GRUSF) has been doing quite well there, as I understand.
