$LVS Short: The worst casino of all time.
LVS has had a strong support at $33 going back to 2013. The TT Blackbox alerted it bearish again. Under $33 could see a 10% drop, but I’ll also be watching this one to see if it rebounds again.

Been a tough first year.....RIP to 2 accounts
LVS-Resistance and bounce appears imminent. (Click to expand photo). Delta peaking is the friggin’ catalyst. It’s only gambling if you’re doing it blindly…
$LVS Idea post ER update. Still lots of calls coming & with time till expiration.
Please buy LVS . I have an unrealized loss🥲

Bought LVS at 2.53 a share because my dad had a gambling problem. Did not know they're were about to expand to Macao. Sold at 80 dollars a share. I miss great recession gains...
My first one was an LVS leap in 2009 that was a seven bagger, could have been a forty to fifty bagger if I held. Yes, beginner's luck is true in poker AND in options trading.
I bought Puts on Las Vegas Sands (LVS) figuring they will get hurt by less travel to Vegas by foreigners and even US residents if things get way more expensive. Also Trump’s dealing with China could impact Adelson’s business in Macau. So far I’m not doing too well 😅
LVS did poorly and still followed the pump, I bought puts on the wrong thing and should've waited for MGM
Great indicator here. I wrote this originally about prostitution being down but here are my expert trade analyst suggestions: Puts: 1. UL (Unilever) – This slowdown hits Vaseline hard. When lube sales dry up, so does the economy. 2. UBER – Fewer back-alley hookups = fewer sad suburban rides. Demand’s soft and flaccid. 3. LVS (Las Vegas Sands) – No conventions, no regrets, no revenue. 4. META – If thirst traps aren’t converting, engagement’s down and so is ad revenue. Calls: 1. BYND (Beyond Meat) – Celibacy up, weird meat-free microwave dinners up. 2. NFLX – No chill, just binge-watching in quiet despair. Lonely nights = more hours streamed. 3. PG (Procter & Gamble) – Tissue and lotion demand spiking.
I've been wondering about LVS (Las Vegas Sands). When the economy is bad, Vegas is deserted.
Share price is still 30% below where it went public a bit over 20 years ago. This and WYNN have been very volatile over the years but returns over the long-term really haven't been very good. Additionally, this sort of name is definitely not the thing you'd want to be investing in if you didn't have a positive outlook on the consumer - LVS nearly 0'd in 2008. If one felt like it was a negative time for the consumer but they had a strong view that things were close to a bottom, then maybe you buy something like this for a trade but beyond that I don't see it as a medium or long-term investment because really, it hasn't been a good long-term investment (and 20ish years is more than enough of a track record imo to have the view that these names *at best* work for short-term trades after downturns but aren't a good place to be beyond that.)
Lol LVS trying to save it by share re-purchase, didn’t work for draftkings…
LVS earnings pdf has "Annual Report 2024" as the front page. quality
anyone playing LVS earnings? praying my poots print
LVS Puts? Recession lingering makes me think yes
I’ve never tried to time the market except for buying severely beat up stocks with surplus cash on hand during financial panics. For instance, LVS and MGM during 2009 when CNBC was like “are casinos even going to exist in the future?” Jan/Feb was the only time I’ve had any inclination to predict a downturn. The president was randomly threatening Canada, dismantling regulatory oversight, democratic guardrails collapsing like …improperly installed guardrails, Sec HHS encouraging “measles for everyone!” S&P highs, analysts proclaiming low risk of recession in 2025. I sold off my US index funds in my tax-deferred accounts. Bought some European value, TIPS, lower risk US dividend paying funds. Cash and bond heavy. Since then I’ve been buying back in a little bit, some select beat up US equities, but not the broader market. I wasn’t even factoring in tariffs that much. It was more the medium and long term concerns about US investability: rapidly failing democracy, rapid descent into idiocracy, the dumbest geopolitical policy in recorded history, becoming a laughingstock and pariah on the world stage. Whatever happens with the world’s dumbest trade war, all of the other medium and long term risks remain, and mostly getting worse. And while the executive can destroy institutions and trust immediately, it will take years to repair these things best case scenario. Generations more likely.
The stock market is teaches LVS what a real Casino is supposed to be.
Thoughts on LVS? I see peer MCRI also reports this week.
Great indicator here. Based on the post, here’s my market interpretation: Puts: 1. What happens in Vegas just doesn’t happen anymore. 4. META – If thirst traps aren’t converting, engagement’s down. Down bad, and so is ad revenue. Calls: 1. BYND (Beyond Meat) – Celibacy up, weird meat-free microwave dinners up. 2. NFLX – No chill, just binge-watching in quiet despair. Lonely nights = more hours streamed. 3. PG (Procter & Gamble) – Tissue and lotion demand spiking.
Fr tho $LVS could be cooked
Anyone playing LVS earnings
Can LVS go lower? Anyone playing puts on that ?
SBUX, NKE, AAPL, LVS, QSR, MCD, TSLA.... And a bunch of other gross, Yankee stuff.
New here, I was just looking at doing a few $45 call contracts on LVS, with an expiration date of Jan 2026. Tell me I’m crazy but based on history I don’t see much risk in doing so. Feel like it could definitely be profitable, unless we revisit a 2008 situation.
LVS 10 year low? Who bankrupts a casino, that's hard and fully regarded
I literally almost added this, but the I assumed LVS isn’t connected directly. But trust me, I wanted to say something snarky about the trade
Dallas Mavericks governor Patrick dumont in like to become Las Vegas sands ceo. This guy married into that family and is driving the mavs into the ground. Shorting LVS into the ground
#**TLDR** --- **Ticker:** NVDA, AMD, AAPL, FCX, LVS, PLTR, MSFT, DKNG, SCMI, CROX **Direction:** Mixed **Prognosis:** OP is seeking advice on how to proceed with their portfolio after turning $320k into over $2 million since 2019. They're questioning their current strategy given recent market volatility and the influence of "YOLO" investment personalities. Consider diversifying, don't compare yourself to others, and maybe ease up on the FOMO. **Feeling:** Anxious Millionaire **Confession:** Sold CROX at $90 because a YouTuber told them to and now regrets it.
MGM and LVS both printed. Do what you will with that info
How weird is it that WYNN and LVS have nearly-identical 5-year charts: [WYNN vs LVS](https://imgur.com/a/v1PXtHk) Neither of them look like a buy to me. What if instead of buying something and *hoping* it goes up, we bought [something](https://imgur.com/a/Bq9TohT) that IS going up, and with a long, smooth track record, and a Market Cap of 823B?
I'm sure LVS will build several casinos there.
Gaza plays are WYNN MGM LVS
My LVS June calls setting the stage for MGM
I could have sworn LVS was wasn't reporting earnings today so I sold my 44c. Fucking devastating
LVS earnings after hours tomorrow
Let’s see, I’m seeing some sweet contracts for his surrogates. TSLA being the first obvious. Trump might want to kill the EV industry but I did hear it in the language, a pivot to American made. TSLA is American made and would “hugely” benefit! I can see Elon and Co getting a sizable number of those credits they can sell and bank. PLTR - Yeah JDs boy Peter T and friends will probably keep landing more government contracts and expand their tech to skynet level. Quite honestly I’m suprised this stock is back from the dead. Las Vegas Sands (LVS) comes to mind given Adelsons’ massive money and support for Trump.
Trying to decide between LVS and VKTX for tomorrow🤔
Sofi like 3 weeks, ccl 1 month, LVS 1 month bust sold after a week of huge gains
This is what I like to do. Find a well known company with earnings a month to a few weeks out. If the chart looks decent, the underlying can just rise naturally so any boost based on IV increase is just icing on the cake. Sell before earnings to avoid IV crush and you’re in business. Recently this has worked for me on SOFI, CCL and LVS
Should have held my $55 LVS January calls one more day it might actually hit $55
got 560%+ on $LVS this week. Filled at the ask. Took me 20 minutes. You'll figure it out or quit. There is no in-between.

Citi positive Macao data.. $LVS starting to pop. Backing up the truck in $MLCO here
LVS just break $44 with the rate pump
LVS was an easy flip on calls. Too bad it didn't have some more volume or else I would go balls deep on more calls
I knew so when I lost that money I took a walk and be a new man. If I want to gamble I will fly to LVS
I want to be able to adapt to a bearish market, so I thought I would try my hand with shorting. Probably not the best company to short since it is such a strong business, but I’m not going to take any big loss on it. I have been buying shares for companies I think will grow. I bought $LVS today and also bought $LPLA
depends on definition of penny stock alot went way way down in 2008 LVS TECK American Axle Pier 1 Imports. apparently during credit crisis, you could have bought a specific distressed CDO for 1/1000th of face value. big piece too. $100 million face. paid out at par. so put up $100k, make $100MM in a year..... sort of a unique situation at the time. had to be private investor to buy it.
No - casino names have a history of considerable volatility yet really haven't offered great returns over time. WYNN stock was where it was now in 2006. LVS is down from where it went public in 2004. Unless things have changed recently, IAC owns a sizable chunk of MGM.
LVS RSI is at 29.5 playing a bounce. Just need $42 to get my nut
I need LVS to break $43 by September trying to bbq but got tickers on the brain. Pork loin and leg of lamb smoking

i will be nice and fill you in .. "tide lifts all boats" make a watchlist and group sister companies together ... start tracking them LVS and WYNN are sisters ... but neither tracks MGM PANW and CRM are sisters NVDA and SMCI are sisters SNAP affects GOOGL and META, META and GOOGL are sisters etc when PANW was downgraded (i think) or sold off hard, CRM would follow if you want to be lazy, the sign up here https://thequantguy.com/
Maybe look at their quarterly results and SEC filings for an in-depth analysis? You do realize over 50% of WYNN's revenue comes from Macau, China right? So they are highly exposed to business in Macau, much higher compared to other companies with Macau casinos like LVS and MGM.
