Going through this morning's releases and two of them landed back to back that are a perfect example of why I never take an -Eq number at face value anymore. Nine Mile Metals (CSE: NINE) put out a drill hole: 2.52% Cu-Eq over 31.95m. Sounds chunky for VMS. Then you read how they built it — Aug 26 Kitco spot prices, gold at US$4,591/oz, and 95% recovery assumed on every single metal. 95. Credit where due, the release straight up says the equivalent grades "do not represent recoverable metal," which is more honesty than you usually get. But do the split yourself and copper is only 0.93 of that 2.52 — the rest is mostly zinc, plus gold and silver converted at spot. Same morning, Stillwater Critical Minerals (TSXV: PGE) drops an updated resource: 805Mt inferred at 0.34% NiTEq. Looks pathetic next to 2.52%, right? Except their deck is $8 nickel, $4.50 copper, $3,000 gold, $6,500 rhodium — way under spot on some of those — with 80% recoveries (85% on copper), inside an actual pit shell with mining and processing costs attached, signed off by an independent QP. So the "low grade" number is built conservative and the "high grade" number is built generous. Neither company did anything wrong, the assumptions are right there in both releases. But put 2.52 next to 0.34 without translating and you've learned nothing. Arguably less than nothing. These days when I hit an -Eq grade I skip the headline and go find the footnote first: what prices did they pick, what recovery did they assume, and is this one hole or a categorized resource. Half a minute, and the headline usually reads very differently after.

The stock dropped because management had already missed their launch schedules for the last six months, yet still shared a very optimistic launch schedule for the rest of the year. They'd launched one sat in Dec, and one was lost last month cause Bezos's New Glenn couldn't keep it up. Now they're guiding for a launch of THIRTY NINE more by Dec '26. Granted, sats can be "stacked" three to a launch. But .. given their record, this seems to be a stretch. >commercial service scales in H2 2026, and the carrier partnerships convert to real revenue or this is a very expensive story stock. Iran Is 99% On The Way To A Nuclear Weapon, I’m Buying Nine Energy Service [https://seekingalpha.com/article/4892213](https://seekingalpha.com/article/4892213)  Some have incorrectly assumed that since it took many years for Iran to enrich uranium to 60%, it would take a considerable amount of time for Iran to get to the 90% required for nuclear weapons, especially since much of their nuclear facilities have been destroyed. I have a degree in nuclear engineering, and I know that is not the case. To enrich uranium, separative work, the product of the number of centrifuges employed, the time over which they are employed, and their separative power, must be performed. Separative work is measured in “Separative Work Units,” abbreviated SWU. The separative work that was used to produce Iran’s stockpile of 60% enriched uranium is about 55,330 SWU. The separative work required to further enrich Iran’s stockpile of 60% enriched uranium to 90% required for bombs, is only 564 SWU, about 1% of the 55,330 SWU performed already. The speed at which Iran can produce enough fissionable for nuclear weapons depends on how many centrifuges Iran still has. On November 28, 2024, Reuters reported, based on an International Atomic Energy Agency report, that “Iran already has well over 10,000 centrifuges operating at two underground plants at Natanz and Fordow and an above-ground pilot plant at Natanz. The report outlined plans to install 32 more cascades, or clusters, of more than 160 machines each and a massive cascade of up to 1,152 advanced IR-6 machines.” If even a minute percentage of Iran’s centrifuges remain, starting from the 60% enriched material, a single cascade of 175 IR-6 centrifuges could produce the “weapons-grade” material needed for one nuclear weapon every 25 days. With more cascades, this would go proportionally faster. Assembling nuclear weapons involves 1940’s technology. The 440.9 kg of 60% enriched uranium that Iran is believed to possess could be enriched enough to produce about six of the relatively mechanically simple and relatively inefficient gun-type atomic bombs such as the one that was dropped on Hiroshima killing about 140,000 people. Or that amount of enriched uranium could be used to produce about sixteen of the relatively mechanically more complex and efficient implosion-type atomic bombs such as the one that was dropped on Nagasaki. Either type would produce an explosion powerful enough to destroy a city or any invasion beachhead. We do not know how many of Iran’s well over 10,000 centrifuges still remain. President Trump seemed to acknowledge that some remained on February 28, 2026. In a speech to the nation that morning, Trump said he initiated “major combat operations” in part because Iran had “attempted to rebuild their nuclear program”. Since then, on March 31, 2026, Trump said “I had one goal,” They will have no nuclear weapon, and that goal has been attained.” That was reported in a New York Times in an article that included “there is no evidence that the United States or Israel has removed or destroyed the country’s stockpile of near-bomb-grade fuel.”  President Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff said that Iran’s negotiators told him it still has roughly 460 kilograms of uranium at 60% enrichment. Witkoff also said Iran holds roughly 10,000 kilograms of total fissionable material, including the 460kg at 60% and another 1,000 kilograms at 20% enriched. Whatever one thinks of President Bush’s invasion of Iraq for the purpose of eliminating their weapons of mass destruction, if there were actually any such weapons in Iraq, they would have been destroyed. Bush never entertained a fantasy that the weapons could be eliminated simply from an air campaign. I do not like the term “weapons of mass destruction” which seems to put poison gas in the same category as nuclear weapons.  Poison gas is nasty stuff. However, it can be mostly defeated with protective gear. Nuclear weapons are the only weapons that possibly might make a war to prevent their falling into the wrong hands, a reasonable choice. **What Happens Next** Multiple additional ceasefires are likely, as both sides want them. Iran likely wants more days to work on their nuclear weapons without harassment from the air. President Trump is sending significant additional troops to the area even during the ceasefires. That could be because there are insufficient forces now in the region to invade Iran now and the Trump administration realizes that it might take an occupation of Iran to eliminate Iran’s nuclear capability. There are several possible scenarios involving an agreement between Iran and other countries regarding Iran’s nuclear weapons programs. I doubt that an agreement as tough as that was reached by the Obama administration, which Trump withdrew from could be agreed to by Iran, but that is possible. Other possibilities could involve Iran “promising” not to develop nuclear weapons without any inspection or possibly a secret side agreement not to detonate any nuclear weapons until after the US elections. Another possibility is that Iran could agree to hand over what it claims is all of its enriched uranium. However, if the current regime remains in power, there would be the possibility that Iran could hide some of enriched uranium. Iran is enormous, about 636,000 square miles. That is more than twice the size of Texas, which is about 268,600 square miles. Iran is larger than Texas, California, Montana, and Illinois combined. Without occupying the country there would not be a way to be sure that Iran is not still concealing some enriched uranium. **Investment Implications** Even without clear intelligence that Iran is building nuclear weapons, hostilities might resume after the series of cease fires ends and on a greater scale. Maj Gen Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi said Iran's armed forces would block Persian Gulf, Sea of Oman and Red Sea traffic in response to the US naval blockade. Iran would not need a navy to prevent vulnerable oil tankers and LNG carriers from using the Persian Gulf, Sea of Oman and Red Sea as they would be within range of Iran’s drones and ballistic missiles. NINE provides cementing services, including blending high-grade cement and water with various solid and liquid additives to create a cement slurry that is pumped between the casing and the wellbore of the well. It also provides open hole and cemented completion tool products, such as liner hangers and accessories, fracture isolation packers, frac sleeves, stage one prep tools, casing flotation tools, specialty open hole float equipment, disk subs, composite cement retainers, and centralizers that provide pinpoint frac sleeve system technologies.  NINE is highly leveraged to drilling activity in North America, which is in turn depends on the prices for oil and gas. So far drilling, as measured by the rig count, has not responded to the surge in oil prices, as many now consider the surge in oil prices to be transitory. Recently, in the New York Times Mark Finley wrote in *High Gas Prices Won’t End Even if the War Does* Surprisingly, American oil producers don’t seem to be scrambling to ramp up supply to help offset the Middle East outages. A recent survey by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas shows that fewer than a quarter of the companies operating in its district plan to significantly increase drilling this year. (Those looking to ramp up drilling are predominantly smaller companies, though.) Interestingly, on April 16, 2026 the Trump administration urged the oil industry to increase production during a videoconference with senior executives from major operators, including ExxonMobil, Chevron and Continental Resources, as well as independent producers such as Diamondback Energy, Devon Energy and Occidental Petroleum. NINE operates primarily in North America. Thus, it has not suffered from the war as the major international oilfield equipment firms have. I'm gonna say this post is HIGHLY suspicious. You did 1000 hours of research on this stock? You a full time trader or do you have another job? If the former, you have time to trade stocks and do 6 months of 40 hours of research? If another job, you have 6 months of time at 40 hours a week to do this research? I find that incredibly hard to believe. What's harder to believe is that you ALSO did exactly 1000 hours of research on CNC stock 10 days ago? One full year of research on 2 stocks. And you only have 2 total posts on your account? Sus af. I have done more research on ELTP that anyone alive that I know (there are also a few other very talented investors who do great research as well and provide great info). I've researched ELTP since 2017 and didn't invest in is until 2021 and yeah I probably have 1000 hours of research....over a NINE year period. My account is also flooded with original DD posts on ELTP and response posts. I'm not saying whether this is a good stock or not, because I haven't researched it, but I'm already suspicious of the quality of the DD if I spot a likely lie like that in the first paragraph.

I think I followed you up until you started talking about "getting $135 in March or $150 in Dec." So let's start at the beginning. Like, the *very* beginning: Have you read an actual *book* on options? This one is solid (it's a pdf): [Options for the Beginner and Beyond,](https://www.r-5.org/files/books/trading/schoolbooks/W_Edward_Olmstead-Options_for_the_Beginner_and_Beyond-EN.pdf) by Professor Olmstead of Northwestern University And just read Chapters 1 through 6, which gets you to LEAPS options. Skip anything about puts. Then add Chapter 14 for Covered Calls. Will just take a couple hours, but will enlighten you greatly. Okay, you've got 300 shares of AMD. You sold 20Mar135C's against the shares. --Holy crap! Those are $68 ITM!! *When did you sell them?* AMD hasn't been at 135 since June, 7 months ago. Did you sell them OTM like you're supposed to? Tbh, **these are so far ITM you should just buy them back.** Trust me, I sell CCs and roll all the time, but when they get buried that deep ITM you'll never get them out by rolling. **But it's not a loss on your AMD position.** Your shares have appreciated at 100 Deltas, while those Calls appreciated less-fast. So you take some of the profit in your shares and buy back the Calls. But you're still left with some profit. But okay, you rolled NINE MONTHS to the December 150's. Like someone else asked, *did you get a credit for that?* The 150C's are $53 ITM at 82-Delta. Your overall position will go up as/if AMD goes up, but only at (100 - 82) = 18% If you want the FULL POTENTIAL of the AMD shares, you're going to have to buy those short Calls back. There's just no way around it. Read the chapters of the book, they'll help you going forward. But Monday, buy back those CCs. If you don't have the extra cash to do it, then sell 1 unit of 100 covered shares. That'll probably give you the cash to buy back JUST the CCs on the other 200 shares.

NOP.cse - should have news early next week (Possibly Monday ) on heavy metal results. They drilled 6 well spaceX holes at their Nevada project and had good phosphate results and possibly found a second One which was not expected. If heavy metal results show this deposit to be organic, this could really start moving quickly. NINE.cse - waiting in some drill assays and good (might be an understatement) copper grades are expected. Pulled back from iga highs as they are raising $4M. Expected to close quickly, so this could provide a good entry before assays. Both are high risk so do your DD.

Two plays worth checking. Both high risk so do your Due diligence and only risk what you can afford to lose. NINE.cse - had a healthy pullback after a $4M PP announced yesterday. Should close quickly but they are waiting for drill assays for 3 holes (hole 2 looks phenomenal) as they are trying to build out a copper resource in New Brunswick by an old mine. The have great targets and beautiful looking cores from recent holes. NOP.cse - phosphate deposit in Nevada. Just announced last 3 assays and potentially found a second zone in hole 6. Waiting for heavy metal assays and if it meets organic standards this makes the deposit much more valuable. Heavy metal results are the next catalyst which is expected any day.

Nine Energy Service (NINE) please! I've looked at it a bit in the past and it seems to have the potential to get back to success. It has consistent income, but runs at a loss. Shit load of debt. But seemingly a well-established company with a range of products developed in-house to compliment their services. I'm assuming they have no hope until Oil reverses its downtrend, which I guess won't happen until after the US mid-term elections.

So I've been holding this one for a while now, but y'all should check out NINE (two tickers, I'm talking about Nine Metals Ltd.).  I found this stock by accident and it's been slowly but surely going up ever since. I'm around $40 profit now. It's a mining company, and I'm banking on the stock shooting up someday soon due to good discovery/news.
