ONDS - drones just got a contract with ICE and maybe FBI (watch for dilutions) PATH - enterprise AI automation software - early yet but if AI shows profit it will be here OMEX - Marine drones that look for critical minerals in sea floor ( very small cap - speculative) KOPN - part of the drone supply chain focusing on optics …still micro cap but has deal with ONDS

OMEX earnings release today. Early word is niiiice. 😎

Probably going to look for an OMEX entry later in the day, since the US gov recently deemed phosphate a critical mineral. Once they reopen and China-US eventually fall out for the nth time, OMEX should be nicely positioned. Still significantly undervalued ever since the NAFTA nothingburger that happened a while back, plus I like the insider buying.

OMEX news: [https://ir.odysseymarine.com/news/news-details/2025/Odyssey-Marine-Exploration-Files-U-S--Offshore-Critical-Minerals-Lease-Sale-Request-to-Advance-Americas-Resource-Security/default.aspx](https://ir.odysseymarine.com/news/news-details/2025/Odyssey-Marine-Exploration-Files-U-S--Offshore-Critical-Minerals-Lease-Sale-Request-to-Advance-Americas-Resource-Security/default.aspx) Between Japan and US considering joint deep-sea mining ventures and snags in the China-US talks regarding rare earth elements, I think OMEX was oversold from the recent high and definitely has room to grow. We're still far off of the pre-NAFTA bullshit levels.

Mentions:#OMEX

If you like TMC look into OMEX. Very similar story but in different regions and more projects in the portfolio. Also much smaller market cap and much higher upside potential

You ask for financial advise which i have none. The danger is about time, if the authorization is declined then it will take at least 5-10 years for OMEX to get the money. Without revenue the other project will probably be in a bad shape, investors may flee and trust may be hard to earn again. In a catastophic scenario they may even have to sell their right of exploitation. They would still gain money out of it but the future would be much more speculative than it is right now. For the dilution it's not even planned yet, they still have a lot of cash in reserve. I just anticipate it. If tomorrow the stock rips as the authorization is granted, then decide to dilute. It wont be 20% of 3$ a share but maybe much more. Like 10% of a 7$ stock. I wouldnt take the risk.

Mentions:#OMEX

Hey thanks for an interesting and entertaining description. I have a few questions. 1. In the dangers sub heading, how is #1 a danger ? If the ecological department doesn’t give the authorisation in the given time, then OMEX gets 2.1B , right? And if they give permit then it’s all good. So it’s a win-win in either case right? So why is it a danger? 2. Regarding dilution, the stock currently is listed at3.37 USD, does it mean it is better to wait until it reaches less than 2.4USD (subtracting 20% from 3USD) of and then buy?

Mentions:#OMEX

I kind of made my brain work and asked myself some questions. The project will not start until the authorization comes up. Once the project is validated, even if the mining company has to invest for the machines and all, they wont be happy about being the only investors. They will ask for 50/50 i guess. That kind of project cost around 40M in infrastructures. I guess they'll ask 20 to OMEX. With that in mind, they may dilute 20% of their share at maybe 3$ and collect around 30M to have a cash reserve. That's how i assume they will dilute.

Honestly one of the most entertaining DDs I’ve read in a while. good mix of humor and solid info. OMEX definitely looks like a high-risk, high-reward play, could pay off huge if that permit comes through.

LITM is a good one. LAC, AQMS, UAMY, NB, CRML, UUUU, ASM, UCU.V, OMEX, NVX (even though I lost money on NVX and it's not a rare earth metal, but graphite. Still worth a look I guess)

I've been hunting for overlooked mineral stocks. I'm fairly scared of those like AQMS that ran 400% in the past two days. This one is different. Yes, deep sea mining is expensive and has regulatory and environmental hurdles, but there is 1 billion metric tons of nickel, copper, manganese and other metals laying off the US continental shelf. For investors hunting a deep-sea play with multibagger potential, here’s why OMEX may be the most compelling deep-sea mining play. Odyssey Marine Exploration (OMEX) [(OMEX)](https://www.barchart.com/quotes/OMEX) is a Florida-based leader in subsea mineral exploration with over 30 years of deep-ocean experience. The company has mapped 75,000 square kilometers of seabed and focuses on critical mineral

Better to go with critical minerals honestly. Definitely have some SCWO, but critical minerals, rare earths, and uranium are a matter of national security. DCA in or lump sum- 1) WWR 2) XPL 3) AREC 4) EU 5) URG 6) OMEX 7) SOAR All of these are still under $5. See which ones you like best.

OMEX. Incredibly undervalued The held a much higher market cap when only looking for ship wrecks and lost treasure. They are now poised as a deep sea mining company and are trading at a fraction of the market cap of other DSM/ critical mineral companies. Reasons i believe they are undervalued: -30+ years of seafloor mapping experience and have been publicly traded for 30 years as well -you need somebody to map and find the resource deposits in order to mine them -they are diversified in the resources they are interested in. Unlike for example TMC who are only currently after poly-metallic nodules. OMEX is also interested in phosphate deposits as well for fertilizers. -not only is OMEX going for their own working but they are also investing into other companies who are working in the cook islands. Which is good as it diversifies its revenue streams. -working in multiple zones of the sea. Involvement in the cook islands is promising but also working hand in hand with mexico on the phosphate project means that they are also diversified in risk as they aren’t banking on a singular governing body for approval. A deal with mexico could send the SP close to $10. Approvals in both mexico and cook islands could send OMEX to $20+

I personally have TMC, UURAF, ARRNF, ABAT, other on my watchlist at MP, UUUU, OMEX, USAR, NB and others but I think I have enough to at least have some skin in the game. The government is going to give alot, and has already granted alot of funds to some of these companies.

r/optionsSee Comment

OMEX in particular is multi stage play and can be very lucrative. From 2 to 5 is just typical recovery gap fill (shorts failed to push them to delist from last september, now price is way above 1 it is out of the picture). Higher than 5 if because of their Mexico phospate approval/cook island project/trump deep sea mining tail wind can be a good longer hold. If not then may just be the short seller from last september exiting then may exit early. Regardless this is a multibagger

OMEX is trading at a huge discount right now. It’s a U.S. company with specialized underwater mining tech and contracts, and they just secured an agreement with the Mexican government that the market hasn’t priced in yet. Given the tiny market cap, the upside is significant — a move back toward ~$5 isn’t unrealistic. That’s why LEAPs make sense here: you get long-term exposure to that potential revaluation, defined downside (just your premium), and leverage on the upside. It’s a capital-efficient way to play an under-the-radar growth story

Anything anybody says to you in response to this well-written expose will seem trite. You bought a stock that seemed to be gaining traction and it took a bit of a dip. It happens. Stocks go up and down...but, I might say, OMEX doesn't seem to be in the shitter in any way.Jell when you're happy with the returns. Limit selling helps avoid the doldrums, but doesn't let you ride out the swale.

I am holding OMEX and trying to understand if I made my first truly bad call... I did it, I fell victim to the classic blunder. Reading late night Reddit whispers, for whatever reason, moved me this week to do a splurge buy (for me) after all of 3 minutes of research. (Remind me! not to refill my ambien script.) And then I woke up the next morning with a flea bitten dog in my bed. But does this dog have a heart of gold? Should I kick him out, and deal with the couple fleas in my sheets as a biting lesson to not heed the crazed musings of other risk taking redditors? I don't know. I just know I'm in need of consoling. There's and earnings report on August 8th. Of all my digging, this is the only reason I've found to maybe have hope for my position, to break even maybe. Was this the only reason I bought it? Embarrassingly this is a departure from my previous strategy that sees me up 18% this week. I think I recently made some change on another ocean exploration venture so maybe that was my justification. Coming to terms with the fact that I might have too much anxiety to trade. I'm a kindergartener in this game, suffering true buyers remorse for the first time and I'm hoping for some encouragement despite my Icaryian ambition. Why would I buy something with almost I am trading with 490 total in my account, and I bought 120 shares of OMEX @ 1.62. That's 54% of my portfolio right now. I am banging my head against the wall. I've never done that before, and my conservative plays have been incredibly fruitful until this very moment. Anyways. Just needed a vent. I feel 5% better now and I'm exiting at 1.64... if that moment ever comes. Taking this dog behind the barn and, you know. Digging a hole. Or maybe someone will come along and reassure me that I'm smart and I get to do happy dance and cancel my limit sell. I'm fickle that way. I can say I learned a lesson, regardless of how this goes, to do more research, and this is par for the course for an entry level hobbiest, and I need to swallow my pride and course correct. It will buff out even if it continues to tank and it'll buff in if it grows, and either way I will most assuredly live and know better.

OMEX (Odyssey Marine)- just broke out in last 30-45 minutes Monday. Followed through and continued higher on a surge in volume Tuesday. Even after the move this sub-$2 stock has a PE of only 6- unheard of for a stock this cheap. With no news this could triple or quadruple. Agreed that more contracts will come. USCUF will most likely benefit from the fast tracking of regulations and possible investment from the government to secure its interest in copper. USCUF has mining rights in northern CA over a historitic mine with over 2 Billion pounds of copper. OMEX is a leading player in deep sea exploration and extraction of a variety of minerals. Chances are the US will want to tap into both land and sea to gain more minerals.

HI mate, after thoroughly analyzing the charts, here are my opinions: AMD - Stock looks great for an upwards journey of 220-230$. I am seeing a retest of 105$ zone before it finally starts it's journey for 220$. Buy on dips with a SL of 75$ on daily closing basis. NVDA - Once again a great stock with bullish momentum. The stock is near it's ATH which can trigger profit booking resulting in a sideways momentum for the stock. If you feel a bit nervous on NVDA, you can book profits near ATH and wait till it closes and sustains above it's ATH for few days. Then initiate fresh buying. OMEX - The stock is in accumulation phase and we might see a sideways movement for for some months before it decisively starts bullish momentum. Buy on dips with a SL of 0.2520$ (only if you can hold for 2-3 years min.) SMCI - Again a sideways movement stock. Only hold if you can hold for next 2-3 years. SL 23$ VOO - Good stock with good fundamentals. The stock is near its all time high. I would suggest you to book profits and enter again once it crosses its ATH and sustain above 565$ I hope this helps!

Positive news with the forward flight news a month back, also wanted to get in early on a eVTOL stock in the early stages because I feel it's similar to the ASTS/RKLB/LUNR school of "early, possible burgeoning industry." Of course, JOBY is still way ahead in that game, but doesn't mean there can't be multiple players in the industry. Had huge reverse split concerns if they didn't reach compliance by ~July 14th (Hence why I didn't namedrop this stock because I hate leading people into shit), but wanted to gamble since management was confident they'd reach the $1.00 x 10 days bid compliance by then. Numbers were trending positive too for the last 2 weeks or so. If they reach compliance, I'm perfectly fine bagholding this stock long-term to see how things shake down. That and the Cavorite X7 design + proposed specs/reach feels like there'd be a good niche to carve out even if they're late to the game compared to ACHR/JOBY. But I'm odd in that I pick pennies that are "long-holds" in my eyes. Don't daytrade them, which isn't technically what you should do with pennies because so much goes wrong, but it's just my MO. Hit with RKLB/ASTS, have things in ASM/HOVR, and swung and missed on OMEX (sold too early before they had that one huge bump).
