I totally understand that I don't jive with most here as an "investor;" I believe in working less & my money working harder for me, averaging in & waiting. Bull case for the whole market is de-escalation in middle east. On OPEN - if they are successful in selling complimentary services like mortgage, home warranties, renovation referrals etc. then they’d be successful regardless of how the market is doing. They are using AI as a tool and applying it everywhere to extract efficiencies and pass some of it to their customers. Real estate brokers charge you 5% and in return give you what? Basically nothing meaningful. Real estate brokers margin is Open’s opportunity as first order effect.

OPEN is boned, interest rates are going up, not only making houses harder to buy in general but increasing their inventory costs. I know you all don't want to hear this, but the reason why $OPEN is moving up is because if things continue the way they are, a lot of people will lose their jobs and be forced to sell their home. They're going to need to sell it fast and likely take the offer OPENDOOR gives them so it's quick and fast before they go to a short sale or foreclosure. A lot of big banks just loaded up on shares in them. Iran still hasn't used their army of drones and hypersonic missile stockpiles, so this isn't going to be over in weeks. Oil prices are going to go up and that will compress margins across the board. Good news is this will likely drive rate cuts which is good for mortgage companies. IT WILL DRIVE VOLUME. This is the same tailwind like Carvana with the pandemic, except in a slightly different scenario where people will have to sell homes to a convenient site to get it done with.

You are an Oracle. As someone who mostly invests in index and MAG7(or 5), I really wonder how you get leads about these tickers. For instance, how did you time OPEN and PLTR so well? And how did you know SPY would trade between the band of 670-690? I imagine you bought monthly options or even LEAPs instead of FDs.
My biggest winners were 1. $BABA $80-170 2. $OPEN .70-$5 3. $TSLA calls in December before 15% move 4. $PLTR puts at $190 5. $SPY $QQQ puts and calls riding support/resistance levels the last 2 months. Literally just buying heavy puts at $SPY $690+ and calls at $670 - this has made me $150k the last month
I work in SaaS consulting, you can see my current company in my port screenshot. I’m a senior sol architect making $225k and have a nice bonus/RSUs but only been over $200k for a year. Been over $150k for a few. I literally took out personal loans in 2022 when I was down bad, sold my car and lost it all. Literal rock bottom around 2024 and basically gave up and started saving. I got a $20k bonus in 2025 and had another $20k saved up and started trying again. Made big plays early on China in early 2025 then hit big on $OPEN and a few others mid year. My biggest wins have been the last couple months compounding options gains on this chop and taking quick profits. I’ve never received any Inheritance, prob will in the future but nothing crazy.
