Ok to be more precise - I don't OPEN long/short positions in 0DTE options going into the close. For me and anyone else that trades options, regardless if an opening position is 1DTE, 30DTE or 100DTE, unless they always close positions before expiration day, inevitably you will need to manage 0DTE options. My goal was to highlight the risks/reward of holding options into the close that are near/ATM.
