Utilities are inherently conservative entities so I doubt they overextend, but I don’t touch utilities that much. I’m more taking about the commodities extraction side, where royalty companies have full unhedged price and volume upside and no capital risk. Nat gas is already becoming the coal replacement and cheap energy source globally regardless of data center buildout. TPL, SJT, PBT, and to some extent LB are well positioned. TPL especially so when it comes to data centers with their large Permian land ownership, gas royalties for power delivery, and water business for cooling.

So PBT’s assets are basically overriding royalties. Comparatively less risky. PR is a proper E&P company.

Weight watchers international dd In this instance, with this recent announcement we can assert some indication where the numbers might end up for example for 2025 full year – I have the following analysis created. Revenue to decline 5% to existing business Rev $844m Exp $488m OI $34M IE $102m PBT ($67m) Revenue to new business Assume the GLP priced $129 annualised for 12 months per individual. Assume 1,000,000 register with WW for the GLP Annualised Revenue: $1,548,000,000 Margin 30%: $464,400,000 IE: $102,000,000 PBT: $362,400,000 Assume the GLP priced $129 annualised for 12 months per individual. Assume 2,000,000 register with WW for the GLP Annualised Revenue: $3,096,000,000 Margin 30%: $928,800,000 IE: $102,000,000 PBT: $928,800,000 These numbers are serious if they do come to fruition also note did not add any further expenses under the new model in light of the synergies and cost cutting taking place kept s,g&a as a flat line. EPS could range between $3.70 to $8.00 (after tax) per share based on 75m shares on issue. DYOR and tread carefully

Lots of potential on PBT with the settlement of the lawsuit against the operator for overcharging the trust. A new item added to the lawsuit claims the operator Blackbeard failed 'to pay royalties to the Trust for all volumes produced from the lands covered by the Conveyance'. Previously Blackbeard has had issue reporting correctly to RRC & Texas Comptroller for PRs, T-1s, NGLs, tax & completions. I've done a lot of work on this and believe Blackbeard has severely misreporte4d production since 2020 and there could be a windfall payment to the trust. https://preview.redd.it/fwrrlxhq77rd1.png?width=724&format=png&auto=webp&s=36c583767583c4c353abad3528038443a1f3d01b

Currently oil prices have had extreme headwinds and pressure where Fridays crude net-positioning of non-commercial accounts(managed money and other reporting) in Brent and WTI futures and options combined were at historic levels short. This includes November 2021 when it was expected that China would shut-in again for COVID lockdowns and the initial lockdowns of 2020 where at a time when commercial crude inventories where approaching record-highs. While the past weeks have been filled with news that typically moves oil markets into bull mode the opposite has happened and prices are now flirting with multi year lows. Continued middle east tensions, Red Sea oil tankers targeted and hit, Libya shut in of barrels exported, large inventory draws on EIA reports, Saudis and other OPEC+ members extending voluntary cuts for 2 months... just to name a few headlines. The market seems to be overly bearish on oil with elections and a potential recession weighing heavily on the downside but a reversal seems near and I'm here for it as a mostly energy focused investor. I've been waiting to post about PBT once it became a value add again and consolation for a month. My original posts were sub $4 from 3 years ago but a lot changed since then and I believe the lawsuit against the operator will have positive results for the equity price. The substack in the post is worth a read with extensive details on potential outcomes.

Nah your good, I should have explained better. I was counting an easy 10 bagger from GME, before the PBT. I might be wrong but I think GME was posted on WallStreetBets, not PennyStocks, but I digress. At the end of the day here's my positions since GME. I put $300 in HITI (High Tide) at the peak and lost about 80% of it. The rest of my portfolio is in Vanguard ETF (VUG) and my 401k is in some Stupid Age based "target fund". I'm a pretty lame investor, and whenever I decide to actually "make a play", it's always the wrong move. LOL Here's the $PBT post [https://www.reddit.com/r/pennystocks/comments/n2ktvd/pbt\_energy\_play\_extensive\_dd\_on\_lagging\_post/](https://www.reddit.com/r/pennystocks/comments/n2ktvd/pbt_energy_play_extensive_dd_on_lagging_post/) Damn I was stupid. With oil prices the way they are right now - put 1000 into HGTXU, maybe some into SJT, or PBT. All oil royalties that pay MONTHLY distributions. It might take a little bit for the price/ payout to catch up to market conditions, but in the next 6 months, this'll be worth it. I'll let you do your own DD. If you're wanting to get STUPID, and YOLO it, (with long term results, NOT overnight) RYCEY. It's sitting around 3 bucks right now - I bought it at .90. Sitting on it until I die.

$MIGI Mawson Infrastructure eyes expansion of data centers The Mawson Infrastructure Group site in Midland The Mawson Infrastructure Group site in Midland Paul J. Gough/PBT By Paul J. Gough – Reporter, Pittsburgh Business Times May 15, 2023 Fresh off the sale of its Texas bitcoin mining site and $5 million capital raise, Mawson Infrastructure Group is expanding beyond its Midland and Sharon facilities. Mawson (Nasdaq: MIGI) is ramping up operations at the former ATI plant in Beaver County, where it has deployed about 13,500 mining units and is on track to put 100 megawatts into operation along with 12 megawatts in Sharon by the end of the second quarter. Next up on the list is Corning, Ohio, where the company has acquired a smaller site at a substation that will be a 24-megawatt bitcoin mining and hosting unit. And that's only the first. COO Liam Wilson confirmed to the Business Times last week that the company was expecting to have an announcement soon on the next, smaller location in Appalachia. Wilson told investors during a conference call Monday that Mawson was in final discussions to add additional bitcoin mining sites soon. That next site is likely in Pennsylvania, according to a slide released during its investor call Monday evening. Mawson is in growth mode after working to bolster its balance sheet at a time when other bitcoin mining companies hit massive turbulence with the price declines in 2022. It sold off its Georgia operations last year and, just last month, sold its Texas bitcoin mining sites for $8.5 million. And it concluded a $5 million capital raise, which the company expects to use to expand its operations including in Pennsylvania and now in Ohio. The company, which is based in Australia but has offices in Sharon and its biggest operation in Midland, touts a diversified revenue stream that includes the bitcoin it mines from its own machines, money it gets from hosting other bitcoin miners' machines, and then a third stream that has nothing to do with bitcoin: payments to curtail its use of power in times when the regional grid needs the capacity. Mawson had revenue of $7.67 million in the first quarter ended March 31, down from $19.4 million a year ago but at a moment when the company has been transitioning its operations. Operations last year — including Australia, Georgia and Texas — area no longer part of Mawson, which has transitioned to a fully Pennsylvania (and in the future Ohio) footprint. It produced 121 bitcoin in the first quarter, down from 459 a year ago. That's without Midland and Sharon being in full operation. It lost $11.4 million in the first quarter, which was similar to last year's $11.3 million loss. CEO James Manning said during the call that the company had its toughest quarter of the year in the first quarter as it moved out of Georgia and then the operations that are being ramped up all the time in Pennsylvania. "We'll have the whole 100 megawatts (of Midland) online and up and running in the quarter," Manning said. https://www.bizjournals.com/pittsburgh/news/2023/05/15/mawson-infrastructure-group-midland.html

Mentions:#PBT
r/SPACsSee Comment

I think this will provide some solid base to oil prices. In effect cut is 1 million. Sanctions on Venezuela and Iran can be lifted. War in Ukraine can end. I think Joe has handled this very well. I think the job market has to be destroyed to control wage inflation. Companies made a lot of profit but wage inflation will eat into future profits. So overall I am looking at lower lows and lower highs. I scalped PBT from 15.7 to 17.2, I will try to play again in 14s

Mentions:#PBT

I’ll also add this isn’t a sure thing by any means, and the premiums are insane on the double and triple levered ETF’s….If China keeps shutting down and their banking system and real estate keep their gradual implosion and the EU and US decide to make nice with Venezuela and iran, and the winter is mild this will all mean nothing. I’m kinda staying safer with these positions, of which I have between 5-25 contracts depending on the value, once I get up 100% I’ll sell half and let the rest ride XLE Jan 2023 100$ strikes KMI Jan 2023 20$ strikes PBT Jan 2023 20$ strikes I also have been pretty successfully utilizing TECL calls very far out of the money as a hedge against this, and taking profits on up days.

You can invest in producing oil or gas wells. You can buy working interest in them at an auction, like EnergyNet or O&G clearinghouse. If you don't mind a little risk you can invest before they are drilled and potentially make much higher returns. High risk/ high reward. If you want a more liquid option, you can invest in a royalty trust like $PBT or $MVO.

Hit very close to the intraday bottom on these TQQQ shares yesterday. And people say you can't time the markets. 😂😂😂 [https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbetsOGs/comments/tax551/daily\_discussion\_thread\_march\_10\_2022/i04c912/?context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbetsOGs/comments/tax551/daily_discussion_thread_march_10_2022/i04c912/?context=3) This was the play for the past two months and it will probably work for the next couple weeks at least. Wait for the market to get short-term overbought/oversold, bet opposite direction, close into the reversal. There is a lot of volatility and VIX has been high, but still the market holding an intraday change of greater than +/-2% in either direction is rare even now, unless it's an even larger mean reversion move playing out like Tuesday. Tuesday held its big move because it was correcting the even bigger \~7% drop over the previous 4 days. Markets are fractal, so higher level mean reversions will play out over lower level ones. But most of these large intraday wicks get corrected into closing. Or if you get a crazy move like the +3.5% Tuesday, expect a likely mean reversion overnight, and close at open. We are in a bear market, but Kang Gang still runs the streets. Sell the rip, buy the dip. I'm not selling TQQQ just yet though, we don't feel overbought here. Still predicting market wants to return to 20SMA before making up its mind again. VIX dropping below 30 is more bullish confirmation. Original target was just under 340 QQQ, unlikely to hit that today unless we get a monster rally which would be nice. The longer this takes the lower the target becomes, to follow the declining averages. My guess is around 338 next week, then we hit the resistance. Some of the bears in here are getting very impatient and greedy, they are demanding a drop now, but they already got their strong drop this week. Puts may be the play again soon, but I won't blow my load so quickly. I'm following the chart, and the chart says 20 day is the resistance point for now. Original TA from Monday: [https://i.imgur.com/aWa6dan.png](https://i.imgur.com/aWa6dan.png) Current holdings: TQQQ, ATI, SBLK, CLMT, PBT, LI, and a 0DTE QQQ call for our friendly competition. :)

Somehow my long only port is green right now. ATI, CLMT, PBT, SBLK all up for now. Everything green except BBBY. That's relative strength. Going to rebuy TQQQ on this red, hopefully we hit -2%. In order for the market to go down, it first must go up. Thems the rules.

Splattering of cheap calls into the close. Bought the dip on CLMT, SBLK, ATI, and PBT. Also grabbed some BBBY since its holding the 200d, but thats regarded so whatever. Hopefully LI pulls backs so I can grab some more for cheap. This thing rips too hard on green days.

Disclaimer: Im no financial analyst or anything of the sort I started investing in 2020 and lost money on GME so take what Im about to write with the grainiest of salt. All the information I used to get to my own conclusions are from the cash distribution pdf that PBT releases every month. > 1) what caused the delta between the original time frame and this now adjusted time frame? OP made 2 assumptions if I remember correctly that didnt pan out. The first one was that theyd stay under budget for 2021 like they did in the past(dont really know for sure but ill take OPs word for it), which they didnt. They actually increased the budget from 30 something(net to the trust) to 51m. And secondly that theyd somehow be able to drastically up production(dont really know where OP got this info), which also didnt happen. Both those things needed to happen to pay down the Waddell debt in july-sept so it could start contributing to the div. But just because none of those things happened then doesnt mean they wont still happen somewhere in the future. Which brings me to your next question. >2) what will/can change between now and march/april to cause the price to effectively x2 from here? Now this is why I still think itll happen but in march-april. If you read up on the Nov cash dish pdf that they released you can actually see how much budget they have left for 2021, if im not mistaken its about 6m. The Waddell debt is sitting at around 19m so they need about 25m revenue in total to completely use up the budget for the year and to pay down the debt. Going by the way production has been steadily increasing and the avg price of oil and gas in Octobre and Nov I expect the revenue to be around 10.5m in Dec and 11.5m in Jan. Which totals 22m. We dont really know the avg price from oil in Dec but if it stays around $65 and production stays around 100k barrels then we'd be able to completely pay off all debt with the revenue in Febr. With no budget and no debt means that Waddell will finally start contributing to the cash dish which is by my calculations in March. Lets say production stays around 100k oil at $65 and gas 200k at $3 thats about 7m in revenue and with the 1m from texas that brings the total to about 8m. The trust has about 47m shares. So the div in March would be 8m/47m=0.17$ per share. 0.17*12/9(pbt current price)=22.67% div yield So if the price stays the same youd be getting a 22.67% dividend yield, which is absolutely insane. To match that insane yield the price will have to atleast double.

PBT is a great play which will pay excellent dividends into H1 2022 even at >$65/bbl. The operator Blackbeard is about to pay off its 2021 well campaign and pay a handsome dividend by February based on my calculations. Price action should follow. They've doubled the fields production with recompletions and new wells and locked s good rig rate. The dividend will likely 10x into H1 22. Additive Manufacturing will not replace HV Production in the near future. The reason is three: 1. Precision 2. Speed 3. Cost There are 2 areas where additive manufacturing is prevalent in - plastics and metals The benefits of molding, casting, forming and subtractive manufacturing (milling, machining, turning) for these processes are that they can achieve single to double digit micron tolerances and variability that is not currently achievable by top range industrial printers. Further to that, the ability to cast and mold multiple cavities in seconds means both speed and price is unbeatable by current AM technologies. Furthermore, AM is not designed to work with all kinds of plastics. We use a lot of engineering specialty plastics that current AM does not have the scale to produce filament or powders for. Further to that, some of the engineering plastics are melted at 350 degree C, where current 3D printers for plastics are not designed for too. I will tell you how I use AM - as a complementary service to my current traditional manufacturing ops. 1. Quick Turnaround for designs. Traditional Manufacturing to make a prototype mold and turn around a design is 3 weeks at its nominal fastest pace. I can get a 3D printed part within hours if I have a design. However the part is decorative as the material will seldom be correct and binding strength is not as strong as tradtional manufacturing 2. Un-moldable shapes. additive manufacturing is able to make shapes that are not manufacturable using traditional methods. In the past, what happens is that during DFM we have to discuss how to eliminate such features. Now there is an extra option. This is useful also for molds, where in the past the cooling channels were straight or regular, but with 3D printing you can manufacturing cooling channels that are called conformal cooling channels, which shorten the process time of molded parts. 3. Low Volume decorative parts. If you need to make 100 pieces of a decorative toy, this is more effective than building a mold or a die. If you want to take advantage of supply chain issues, I would rather invest in port services company in high volume ports or the traditional semicon, chemical, plastics, steel etc. I had a call recently with the largest manufacturer of PBT in the world, and they said they are experiencing severe Bromine shortages. This is a filler plastics use for flame retardation. $ICL is the largest Bromine supplier. Make of that what you will.

Should I keep holding PBT? It keeps going up but very slowly lol. I don’t want it to just yank on me when I could pull a decent profit today.

Why do you think the debt will be paid off this year? Doesn’t PBT have an approved capital budget through year end that they will keep spending?

Correct. I was expecting PBT to range towards $7-8 in Aug but oil prices took a significant hit in July-Aug with Delta variant concerns and the technical break to multi year highs. The amount of production added is fairly high for these oil prices and has a potential to run to the $20s again with a bit of volume off that higher cash distribution over multiple months. I actually increased my position by about 20% by exercising some of my $5 calls I got super cheap earlier this year when it popped over $5.60.

Since Walddell ranch isn't paying and that's where almost all the production is it won't increase until they pay down new drilling debt. The Texas Royalty Properties don't produce much in the trust and why we bounce around under $0.02 cash distribution per month. Based on their 8k in June they expected that debt to be wiped out in Nov but due to SEC filing rules they are basing that on a 12 month crude average of about $37. Obviously last 4 months crude has been substantially higher so I'm seeing this debt going away for the budgeted year in late Sept or early Oct at the latest. Current production and oil and gas prices put their dividend at around $0.09 without new wells and possibly $0.14 with new production being high and oil staying near $70. You can see here the last Q revenue of Waddell increasing by a large margin compared to 2020. Better pricing and more output I can see it move towards $22-24M for the Q in cash distribution vs $2.9M. https://imgur.com/a/1YtkTZt They needed to spend this money on wells and workover or cap them and abandoned because they were running out of time on the 5 year window for old wells so lots of spending but looks good for the debt and production to hit when oil may be it's strongest in Q1 of 2022. Also I'm expecting Natural Gas to clear $5. One thing I like about PBT is it's monthly payment so once it kicks in the yield gets adjusted immediately on that month instead of quarter.

Hey, I responded to one of your first posts about PBT a few months ago. Longtime PBT holder. When do you think the dividend will increase? It actually decreased this month.
