PRN. Is this bullish or bearish? Saw a hedge fund that made a purchase with PRN next to it.

You have a goal! If you shoot for it and retire at 55, you won't feel bad. Limit expenses. Less you spend, more you can invest. If you have a 401k at work, especially if they match or whatever, max it now. Your new check is what you make, so adjust. What do you think is a growth opportunity? Have fun with this! I got into investing late - 2 or 3 years ago at 40 - and thought...space? So I started digging into space stocks and threw a few thousand into RKLB and ASTS. That was money I was willing to burn. My hail Mary. Rest I put into VOO and tech stocks post covid (did well with Amazon at 100 or so...missed NVIDIA, it happens - you'll "miss" a lot). Buy a single share of something you want to keep an eye on. Read about it. Try to get multiple investments you'll ride with after watching for a while, buy them when they're red. That's kinda it for me - but I'm an idiot. C.PRN has a really great dividend until the 2040s, so Google that. Best of luck!
I'm worried about my lack of retirement and financial future I'm 37 years old and a single mom to a 2.5 year old. I'm in the middle of a divorce and I have primary custody. Up until this point I had never thought about retirement or knew anything about investing, and realizing how much I missed out on when it comes to compound interested makes me sick to my stomach. I am losing so much sleep at night just staying awake, feeling terrified about my financial future. I never want my lack of financial planning to be a burden on my daughter and that's what scares me. I have a huge drive to give us a better future, but I don't know how to start. I currently live with my parents and have for the past 2 years. My mom watches my daughter 2 days a week, no charge, so that I can work (22-24 hours) I make about $2400/month. I would have to enroll my daughter in daycare to work more, but then I can't work more than 30hrs at my current PRN job. I would have to look for another job, but with our custody schedule not finalized it makes it difficult to know what hours or days to look for. I was hoping to have the divorce final by now, but it's dragging. Another obstacle is my daughter is going to be tested soon to see if she needs more speech therapy. The schedule would be Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri for 3 hours, which would affect my current work hours. There's so much uncertainty at play. I don't have much going into my 401k. I just opened it last year, so I have $5,000 and that's it. I have no idea what half of my husbands retirement will be. I don't think he had much going in, so I'm not hopeful that it will be very much. My debt is $2,000 on a bed/mattress and $16,000 on my car. I have a 2017 paid off Mustang that I don't drive much now that I have a toddler (It's hard for me to sell, mentally. I love it and had hoped to pass it on to my daughter) I have $11,666 in my emergency fund. Current lawyer fees are eating up a lot of what I would be able to save and I don't know how much longer this will go on for. I love the idea of house hacking, but that's almost impossible with a toddler since I don't want strangers living in our home. I would need a seperate casita or guest house to do that, but then the housing price would be through the roof. I have a huge desire to get into real estate investing, but sometimes I feel like that's just a dream and not attainable for me in my position. I got my real estate license years ago because I wanted to flip houses and I felt it would bring me value, but that's not possible in my situation. I can't do a live in flip with a toddler and bounce around different homes. I can't afford to save for a house and try to catch up on retirement. I'm sorry this sounds so doom and gloom, but that's how I'm feeling lately. I need some hope for a better financial future for me and my daughter. I dreamed of doing things differently than my parents did, by investing and having my money work for me. I love the FIRE movement, but I feel that I've missed that boat. If anyone can offer some advice on where to start, it would be greatly appreciated. In the meantime I'm making sure to read books and listen to podcasts on investing. I also love Bigger Pockets. I can't seem to find meetups though in my area to meet other like-minded people. Please don't come down on me as I've already come down on myself and I know how far behind I am.
Really? This is your evidence? Hahahahaha gtfo retarded boy. Take some dick PO TID PRN for you retardedness. #10 refills
Ah mine needs coverage at some of their smaller places in the same system, and tends to hire out locums for a lot of coverage. Have a PRN friend who has told me what they pay him to go out there and I’m not spending my weekends over there for what he said he gets lol. I’d rather do locums somewhere, would be funny to sign up with a locums agency and apply for the same job at my system they keep filling with locums. I’m sure they wouldn’t give it to me out of spite
Just wait until the people who have been investing in a very strange time of constantly increasing returns and multibaggers see either 1.a lost decade or 2. a decay of their purchasing power combined with the constant barrage of comparison via social media making them realize these “gains” are equivalent to a kid thinking they’re making it big because they can buy an extra candy while the parents buy a condo in their respective florida/hawaii First comes the “it’s cool bro I’ll just buy the dips” then “well at least I have hella btc digital gold have fun staying poor brb converting to fiat because my lunch cost the equivalent of 2 hours of work” then the COPIUM XR (diclazepam/methiodone/lisdexphetamine) brought to you by Pfizer, $500 per fill if paying out of pocket (good”who”x? Is that like a rapper?) or $1 if covered through blue cross anthem united care, exclusive corporate deal only available through members of the Amazon, McDonald’s, Pepsi, Starbucks, Coca Cola, Uber family of companies. Remember when you live and work together, families stay stronger (tm) And no before you ask this is not a stim rant, big pharma took away my decades prescribed and taken as diagnosed and prescribed legal stimulants when locked inside you could get to be a true eagle destroyer by looking to china and the NL. And just as ehf deeZ are named as such (I don’t even know if you can phonetic that out on here anymore, it’s been a while), it was so good until so bad and mental disturbance caused 1000% by bad commie things with no contribution from isolation/paradigm shift combined with being honest with medical professionals led to a return of good ole American made, just not the ones previously taken (or coincidentally in shortage because all of a sudden everyone and their mother had PRN ADHD) If you understood anything in this message, I’m sorry and hope you are making the best of every day right now. Hopefully you’re even capitalizing on it as is the American way. Chances are this will be downvoted to oblivion or full on removed because it’s in a (not funny) satirical tone, and since it isn’t just posting a derivation on the same joke, that’s grounds for absolute ripping to shreds.
I see what the problem is. You see, you're losing money instead of GAINING money. Losing money is bad, while gaining money is good. Hope this helped. Also take acetaminophen 1000mg TID PRN for your headache.

A lot of healthcare management type positions require an RN or BSN. I know an RN who worked in dialysis for years making around 80k annually before overtime and PRN type coverage. She was then made manager of a dialysis clinic (requires an RN most of the time) and bumped up to the 90's. From there she was able to climb the company corporate ladder and is now making 6 figs to do a corporate cushy gig and she never even touches patients anymore.
I find it very hard to believe that your employer wouldn’t offer a 401k as a nurse unless you’re doing traveler or home health work. Additionally, if you have 5ish years of experience you can very easily hit 85k+ as a nurse if you are willing to be a charge. (Excludes extra shifts) PRN work is another way easily add 15-30k to your annual earnings. You could get your FNP online and do your clinical hours in between your weekly shifts and your income will go from 75k to over 100k with a better work life ratio if you work out patient. Instead of paying the extra 750 on the mortgage why not take those dollars and put them in a retirement plan? As for an IRA fidelity has great advice you can read about basic investing WB has great advice. Since you’re in healthcare I would recommend reading the white coat investor as a resource too. As a new investor keep it simple. Passively managed, low expense ratio, etfs like S&P 500 etfs are a good starting point. There are many to choose from Vanguards VOO is a popular choice among several threads. Do not yield chase.. high yields historically spell trouble. You’re in the golden age of nursing right now where employers are paying a premium many are even paying for nurses to get more education and then paying them more money. Sign on bonuses are around 5-20k for medical nurses.
So about 9 months ago, I sent credentialing paperwork to a local hospital after they reached out to me to cover some shifts. Went and toured their ER, got a badge, all that jazz. Then promptly never heard anything from them until today.... >"Hey, so we removed you from Medical Staffing 2 months ago because we never got an updated PPD \[a test for tuberculosis hospitals still require for some dumbass reason\]." "Ma'am, I literally had no idea you guys had me on staff." >"Well we did, but we took you off. BUT HR can't take you off the PRN roster until we have a formal resignation letter. Unless you're still interested in picking up shifts?" *drphil-unless.png* "Yeah, I'll send you an email." # Really feels like I dodged a bullet there. anyway SPY 430 EOW
PRN News Release - 10/26/2025 Apollo Global Capital Management today announced its acquisition of Meta, joining Yahoo and AOL in the Apollo Capital cavalcade of fallen stars. The stock had recently collapsed to $11.00 a share and trading was halted when the Metaverse was acquired by a newly created joint venture of Amazon and Apple. Mark Zuckeberg was too busy filling out a Wendy's application to comment.

Benzos exist for this reason (Xanax, Ativan, etc.). You go from feeling like you are going to die to feeling "okay" in 20 minutes. I would highly recommended everyone that has panic attacks to get a PRN Benzo prescription. You may have to visit a psychiatrist depending on how strict your family practitioner is. It only takes one hour of your life to see one and it will have a huge effect on your life.
A PRN currently is a solid company with a good business model
Maybe you should try a PRN take a look smart ass it’s up
I’m not sure what my price target is. $20 is nice for sure. The thing is that with so much institutional ownership stock buybacks deals coming and possibly taking a PRN private all these things will take out the naked shares and this thing could Volkswagen skyrocket. The great part about this is it doesn’t even need investors like us to do it they can squeeze it on their own which is what happen with Porsche and Volkswagen. I think this is a real solid play so no matter how much I sell I’m definitely keeping some just in case it moons.
If I had enough money to live comfortably I would volunteer with the local search and recue team. I'd love to be doing that now if they paid. Maybe work PRN at an urgent care or something if I was bored
She isn’t a nurse. Speech-language Pathologist. PRN seems to be an average of 35-55 an hour but hours are not guaranteed. Gets called off frequently. Full time looks around 50-65k…. I make significantly more and am significantly less intelligent haha.
Normally when I write an Rx for post-surgical/procedures its 1 PO Q4H PRN for pain depends on the dose though. If its Vicodin as stated above it's on the weaker side of the opiates, but as a poster said below if you don't need it don't take it. Pain from inflammation/swelling post op is better controlled with Naproxen/Motrin IMHO but I'm not your doc so follow what they prescribed ;)
I hold no GME stock but it’s interesting still cult or not. It’s a weird stock and seems fishy. PRN badly hedge fund wars
PRN means “as needed”
I do anesthesia. PRN is “as needed”. Bourbon as needed.

Those are travel contracts. California traditionally pays more for travel and staff RN positions, and their OT laws are that anything more than 8 hours on the clock is considered OT. The vast majority of places don't have the OT structure and nurse to patient ratio laws in place outside of Cali and maybe Oregon and Washington. Every hospital right now is playing a game with nurses- Hold out until the staffing crunch gets better and pay travel RNs 3x as much as their staff RNs in the hopes that this ends soon and they aren't into a permanent commitment via pay raise to their permanent staff. Currently, I am making $30.36/hr. Travel RNs are making $100/hr at my facility, while federal SNAP nurses are making $130/hr. I'm only months away from my vestment period and then I plan to go PRN and pick up local travel contracts. My facility isn't the only one that is acting this way right now. Essentially what every hospital is doing right now is just swapping their staff for travel contracts. So Local Hospital A's staff goes to staff Local Hospital B's facility via travel contracts and Local Hospital B's staff goes to A's. So now these hospitals lose loyal employees because they won't invest a $5/hr pay raise for permanent staff. I do believe that eventually these hospitals will have to give in and raise staff pay. Nurses have the leverage right now and eventually I think enough will hold out or just leave the field entirely if hospitals don't raise pay. No one is going to go back from travel contracts for the pay they were making before.
Have a investor dude managing my money and is super bullish on PRN (Canadian) / PROF (American) with a price target of $36 CAD. Would just like to hear any other input on the stock. The company is Profound medical.

I’m stuck in PRN and now AERC, my trading is fine, when I’m at home, but when I’m at work it’s impulsive and I make rash decisions. I’m getting toasted a lot lately.
If you’re fired or quit, you generally can’t get UI. I work for a hospital system, we’re not firing people per se. They are on unpaid leave until they get in compliance and, if they still can’t prove a month later that they’re in compliance, they’re considered to have resigned. In our case, 94% of doctors and clinical staff are in compliance and the rest are what we call PRN (on-call fill-in nurses and such).

I am a bot. You submitted a picture of a banned ticker, PRN. This check will fire if you included unnecessary pictures that have bad phrases or a bad crop with news about cryptocoins, for example. Repost with the useless pictures omitted if you did that. Yell at /u/zjz if it's above 1.25 billion-ish market cap and not related to crypto/pennies/OTC/SPACs.
Okay but guys hear me out... $PRN ,’:)
You're not reading whale wisdom correctly. What the entry in whale wisdom means is that they own $57mio principal amount of convertible notes (that's what the PRN) means. It's in [the actual SEC filing](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1423053/000095012321007261/xslForm13F_X01/0000950123-21-007261-4724.xml) (the file's large, text search for 'WORLD WRESTLING ENTMT INC'--it's the last entry, as they own calls, puts, 2 sets of shares, and the notes. The notes they own are convertible into a bit more than 2mio shares.
XD Yes, Part time. $14.28 PRN Phlebotomist avenging about 30 hours a week. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I'll admit, I undershot a bit, because it seems I always avg less in the grand scale. As for Full Time, I've been trying, but health issues have prevented it for the most part.

Some 🤡 said PRN T is gonna print. So I loaded some shares on ROTH IRA account. Down 22% never been this down on shares alone. RIP IRA account
I just got my check back from filing taxes and I don't really need the extra $2200. My tuition for next year is being covered fully and I'm getting $6,000 to help me with rent. I do plan on working 1 day a week with my PRN job to help pay my rent. I've been thinking of just putting this $2200 into a low-risk dividend stock and setting up an auto reinvestment. I have a few more options, like spending it or having it sit in my savings account. I definitely won't spend it and I don't want to put this money at high risk, like day trading it. I'm also not a fan of just leaving my money in my savings account. It just seems foolish to let thousands of dollars idle. Thoughts?
I see on the NYSE "Wells Fargo & Co. Dep. Pfd. (Rep. 1/1000th 5.2% Perp. Pfd. Cl A Series N)", its symbol is WFC.PRN What does all that mean?
didnt know that $CUM is in the PRN ETF
$AMD Holders!....A lot of institutional buying the dip today, so that's nice... but what the hell was JPMorgan doing last week? They: Sold 153,000 shares PRN (PRN indicates principal amount on convertible debt securities.\[wtf does this mean\]) Sold 4,048,302 shares Bought 475,800 shares PUTS Bought 139,500 shares CALLS I don't know how to read, but it seems like they were just hedging their Bearish position? **I'm** a new investor, and I'd like some advice. But before that, I'd like to give some insight. I'm currently a highschooler who recently started investing last week on Monday. However, I have been talking to a friend who has been trading for about 6 months. Because of that, I know the basics and that's about it. Fast-forward a bit, my father gave me one of his unused retirement accounts with about $1468 in it. The deal was that if I could invest smart enough so that I brought the portfolio value up to $1500/$1550, then I could keep the money and open a custodial account. **My** current portfolio has 2 ETFs and 3 stocks. It is listed as follows: * 5 Shares in SCHX * 5 Shares in QQQE * 15 Shares in OGI * 2 Shares in F * 5 Shares in AMD **So** far, AMD, SCHX, and QQQE have been the only ones that have increased a considerable amount. I thought about it, and I thought about making an all ETF portfolio once I reach $1500/$1550. My first question would be how would I effectively reach $1500/$1550. Any advice on my current portfolio to reach my goal quicker? Once OGI and F hit green numbers, I'll sell immediately. They've lost me some money, but not a large amount. **I** will have around $5200 to make a portfolio out of. My second question would be if I should make an all ETF portfolio, or should I put some individual stocks in there and remove some ETFs. My current plan is as follows: (Cost per share is estimated) * 3 Shares in VBK at 302 per share * 5 Shares in SCHX at 96 per share * 3 Shares in QQQ at 337 per share * 12 Shares in FNY at 75 per share * 2 Shares in ROBO at 72 per share * 2 Shares in PRN at 108 per share * 3 Shares in CQQQ at 107 per share * 2 Shares in KCE at 82 per share * 2 Shares in IBUY at 139 per share * 5 Shares in FIVG at 37 per share * 3 Shares in ARKK at 157 per share **I** chose most of these based solely on their past performance, but I realized, after reading around, that that isn't a good idea. If you guys could. Please give me advice on what to remove/add, change the weighting, replace, or what individual stocks, if any, should be added.
