This makes me feel a lot better about only buying undervalued stock today (SOUN) and selling some underperforming positions to buy gold, silver, and an ETF that tracks swiss francs. I know this is Wall Street bets and the regards on here think there's always a bull market but I won't be buying much other than put options the next few months.

At $50k ahead this month, i just (monday) cashed out completely. I have some expensive medical bills to pay and this will definitely help. All stock choices were based on nothing but the feedback and threads that you guys in here have posted. You guys absolutely rock and thanks so much! I do think I'll jump back in, though with smaller investments on my 4 favorites and biggest earners: QLD, GOOG, SOFI and RKLB. I had small losses with UNH, SOUN ($1k loss, ouch!), and miscellaneous AI stocks, which I'll stay away from. I realize my $50k gain isn't much to many of you, but it's quite a bit for me, and will help me out with some financial difficulties I have right now. I'm going to continue to hope everyone here continues to make their biggest gains! Carry on!

Took them a year to realize AI X-rays is a meme idea and sell NNOX. Sold SOUN too early before the massive beats started coming. RXRX has traded flat for a year. Pony AI is the same thing as WRD, a Chinese self driving taxi company except, WRD has $1B debt and no cash, while Pony has $600M cash, and no debt. And he sold more NBIS, the debt free data center company with $2.5B cash, to buy more CRWV, the data center stock with $8B debt, and increasing losses. Google makes great investments. OPEN - very high risk. Very high reward. AMPX - solid battery play. Not penny technically. RZLV - underrated AI play. Could do a SOUN. Earnings coming up. Don't know when though. ONDS - you want to be in atleast one drone play, and this one is well positioned. I prefer this over RCAT. Is slippage the biggest problem you have? You’re chasing pennies. You don’t have to be the *most* liquid equity to have *high* liquidity. SPY is expensive. You’re looking at minimum $64,000 for a single contract. SPY has low IV, it’s broadly diversified and highly liquid, and moves up slow and steady. Therefore it has tiny premiums. Your yield for an expensive contract will be 0.40%. That’s ZERO point forty. Yield on a cheaper NVDA, PLTR, HIMS, SOFI, SOUN, SOXL, HOOD, MSTR etc. will be 1.5% — 1.7%. Literally three to four times the yield from SPY. With lower priced Strikes, you can diversify your $64,000 many different ways. SPY is popular as a “buy and hold”. What are you going to get as annual yield from SPY? 10%? 13%? 16%? I get 16% in three months. If 10-13% is all you want, why are you in an options sub? Just park your money in SPY or any covered call ETF. Presumably you’re here because you want to beat “buy and hold” returns. Everything that makes SPY a good “buy and hold” makes it a terrible options play.

I am not bearish on AI whatsoever, but there are absolutely shortable shitcos trying to ride the hype if you have the patience and risk tolerance. Companies like SOUN, BBAI (already down a lot yesterday), AI, etc. You could make a case for CRWV as wel, but it’s also risky for multiple reasons that make it prone to squeeze, of course. OTOH, lock up on many shares are expiring soon.

In regards to SOUN, I think with these Q2 earnings and raised outlook for 2025 (CEO predicting profitability by end of year) people like myself are really starting to think long on SOUN despite how volatile the stock has been lately. I’ve got about 600 shares in SOUN now and plan to keep buying as I get more monies.

I don't know the answer to your question but when you think in percentages, you can bet on a pricey stock at 1% return in a week (for example) or you can buy 10 smaller stocks with the same amount of money and diversify a bit. You can research this yourself pretty easily. Pull up an options chain for MSFT and compare the potential ROI against a lower priced stock like SOUN. I think you'll find that they are pretty similar in terms of potential ROI.

Asking AI to generate feet pictures isn't scaling to production. Scaling to production means using LLMs to actually increase profit by reducing costs or generating revenue. So far, there is virtually no ROI on these products for the vast majority of companies. The only companies that are making money on AI, like NVDA, APLD, NVTS, SITM is because MSFT/META/BBAI/SOUN/etc, are paying them. But these downstream companies are not getting any ROI on their investments.

I agree, on both. OPEN shorts were able to scare people off and make money while doing so, but they are still down. Also, with rumors of the FEDS dropping interest rates, based on today's inflation report, shorts must be worried. SOUN has been the most shorted stock for over a year. They must be concerned. I'd also like to add ONON. It was highly overvalued. 45 was is a good entry point, which I've been saying for a while. It had my expected rise today. For the moment, the shorts are trying to keep it under 50. If it goes over 50 and stays, they will begin to sweat. Of all three companies, ONON is the solid long term bet.

Thanks brother. Damn son, where does that put your average NVDA price at?? Nice work! I looked up the price history on MSOS when the HHS recommendation came out in ‘23. The following four days including day of: +21.2%, +14.8%, +0.8%, +18.6% Today it was +25.7% and MSOX cleared 54.2%, and now MSOS is up 5% in overnight trading. My gut tells me a choppy ride ahead, but that we finish the week higher than we closed today. My goal is to hang on tight to the fomo on this leveraged play and sell at either $307k gain for the $420k bag or just go for the $420k gain. As for more investing instead of gambling, I’m up ~45% on the rest of my non-cash since April which puts me at ~400k in AMD, SOUN, robotics, JOBY, and psychedelics. Been an insane 72% year for me after today. When I get off this train soon, hopefully at my goal, then I will put $250k into tier 1 MSO’s with 1.5b market caps and kick up my feet and not touch any of these ports for years besides taxes because I think the angel investment that I mentioned will actually become a serious cash flowing asset in 2026. Surely if rescheduling happens + banking + uplisting then my $250k weedfolio becomes a mil+ by 2030. One thing is for sure, I’mma get rich or high trying.

BTAI you mean? If so, then I have no idea what’s going on with it, but I entered at 1.70 and exited at 4.55 and it kept pumping. It wasn’t sustainable at 3-4, and now it’s at 7. Hitting myself for selling, but profit is profit and their catalyst date is quickly approaching which means a quick dump at any point after a 400% gain in a week. It’s IXHL 2.0, and I hope folks take profits and don’t get too greedy. I have positions in TNFA and CHSN, caught CHSN below 0.01 but waited on TNFA and decided to add during AH and got in at 0.11 after making sure volume was serious. If I read the patterns right, TNFA will do what BTAI and IXHL did. I’ll be safe and sell at 200-300% if it goes that high, and I’ll set a stop loss for -20%. I have a position it ATCH as well, but haven’t check the others. I’ll have a look tonight. I tend to choose 3 short term plays a week , and 3 medium-long term plays in my “just for fun” portfolio. Going for TNFA, CHSN, and SOUN (not a penny stock I know) this week, while my mid-long term are NVNI, ELTP, and CTM.
