Had they properly supplied the Curve pool with enough exit liquidity and partially backed the things with a basket of assets (a la FRAX) this wouldn't have ever happened to the degree it ended up happening, sure, LUNA would have tanked still, but not to the point of incontrolable inflation and death. (Though some stupid motherfuckers still trade LUNC so yeah) Matter of fact, go check out FRAX, it's UST but done well on Ethereum.

As a preface, everyone is in a different situation. This is brutal for those who rely upon turning quick profits in crypto. Yet, this is legit the ideal situation for those with the resources and resolve to HODL for a very long time. A crypto IRA is a godly move in this situation. Forced HODL until retirement, recurring DCA buys during this valley, maxing out annual contributions if you have the means. Some of us are drooling. (Please, don't dig in if this doesn't apply to you). I guess I'd follow the above by saying this - it's been often mentioned in this sub and basically stands as a foundational tenant in crypto and for really any investment: INVEST ONLY THAT WHICH YOU CAN LOSE IN THE EVENT SHIT TANKS. As such, though it sucks to see many bleeding out in this crash, it stands to say that crypto is a damn volatile and risky-af investment vehicle. TLDR: Buy the dip if you can. If you can't, remain positive (easier said than done, I do get it). Shit WILL rebound and the market will thrive (ETA unknown).
