What do you think, in vivid detail, the mining of the last bitcoin will be like in 2140? I'll go first... *The world's most powerful supercomputer is on the cusp of mining the final bitcoin, which has taken more than two decades, widely considered a generation. The primary reserve currency has enabled frictionless commerce for over a century following the U.S. dollar's full collapse and with it, the elimination of wasteful, corrupt banks as well as the end of cycles of economic instability and, it follows, global poverty. World Wars V, VI, and VII, popularly known as the climate wars, recently ended with the agreement to tie all production of renewable clean energy to universal basic income in the form of bitcoin, the market capitalization of which not only surpassed but replaced gold, which is now worth nothing. With the final block in place, the blockchain... and humanity... is complete.*

Have you ever paid for a skin in a video game? An upgrade to a online account? Think longer term than they just bought a JPEG. Today you buy the curry shoes for 333.00 just like the internet was it’s bigger than “metaverse” and I personally hate that Facebook beat everyone to this when the concepts older then them. But imagine going from game to game in diff universes and being able to rock your “Curry’s” in NBA 2k30 and GTA 5 (Cause we know there’s not gonna be a VI by then) or stroll out to a virtual fortnight game where your personal collection transfers your character between multiple universes… 1/1000 pair of shoes, or 1/1 artworks in your personal castle in GTA 6 that correlates to each persons wallet.

Thanks, I just really don't want to do the wrong thing and be fined for not reporting things that I should have (since I imagine CEXes inform tax people that I was buying/selling) but at the same time, I really shouldn't have to file a tax report at all besides this. Besides, I found this on the internet (with all the precautions of the case) talking about when employees who normally don't file a tax return, should do so: "The circumstances for when a tax return must be filed are regulated in § 46 of the Income Tax Act. If at least one of the listed criteria applies to you, the Tax Office (Finanzamt) will assume that your tax liability exceeds your advance tax payment(s) and you will be required to file a tax return. 1. Supplementary Income (Nebeneinkünfte) \- Income received from multiple employers simultaneously during the calendar year is subject to a deduction according to tax class VI and requires you to file a tax return. \- Taxable supplementary income greater than 410 euros per calendar year without a tax deduction requires you to file a tax return." So according this this, unless supplementary income doesn't get to a certain point, no filing is needed. \-- I mean, I realise I'm probably being extra paranoid and that everyone's got much bigger problems than this (including you, so thanks again for your patience and your answers) but I just really don't want to be doing the wrong thing either!

I'm not dismissing it out of hand, but I see absolutely nothing here that benefits me. It's a blatant pay-to-win game that's charging $24 for an incredibly basic item. I don't care if I can sell my items if I'm having to invest large amounts of money into the game just to play it. For that price, I can buy Civilization VI and all the expansion packs. And that game doesn't try to charge me per item used in game. Also, is selling items really that much of a benefit to me? TF2, CS:GO, and DOTA all allow for selling items for Steam wallet money. The vast majority of in-game items go for pennies or maybe a couple of dollars. Only the exceptionally rare items go for more than that. The time-to-earnings ration for selling TF2 items is microscopic. I'd rather just enjoy playing a game for the game's sake rather than grinding away hoping to make some cash.

Man thank you for posting all this! Weird coincidence, I've been on google trying to find some good information about this for like 2 hours, and just now decided to search this sub specifically and found this thread! Nice! :) So yeah, here's my situation maybe you can give me some advice and thank you in advance!! I just recently purchased the parts to make my first BTC mining rig and was wondering if it would be a good idea to start an LLC, and what the differences for taxes rates/income would be vs filing as self employed? Also, which one is less complicated? Are there any ways to make the whole thing less complicated from a tax perspective? I'm really worried/scared to start all this because if I don't do taxes right, I don't want to get in major trouble. Does an LLC protect me if the IRS comes after my crypto business? I'm not super familiar with how LLCs work in general either so that's also kind of a problem. Either way I would most likely pay someone to do my taxes for me, but wondered how much something like this would cost annually? And would I need an accountant who specializes in crypto stuff? Would a CPA be better? How do I find one? And what information would I need to give to my accountant/CPA at the end of the year (or is this something they need to keep up with more frequently)? For example if I were to download the spreadsheet at the end of the year with my withdrawals from NiceHash to CoinBase (this would show how much BTC I mined, and what its value was at the time), and then spend that BTC with the CoinBase Visa card, that should leave a pretty traceable trail for the accountant to hopefully figure out the gains/loss taxes, right? Would it be recommended to exchange all my BTC for stablecoin like USDC immediately at the exact value I mined it at? The reason I ask this is because I'm almost constantly swapping coins around... for most of this year I owned less than $500 in crypto but I've swapped that $500 around probably weekly, which if I have to pay tax on that would end up being more than my yearly income? How would you recommend avoiding that happening? Move to the VI? lol Also on a side note I would probably be spending almost all profits from my mining rig on more mining hardware, to eventually get several rigs going, which I would like to write off as an expense. So yeah anyway sorry that was a long one!! Giving you the helpful award for writing this awesome post, thank you again man this is really great stuff!!! Tried looking around on the /smallbusiness sub but didn't find anything. Cheers to you!! :)

$5,000,000,000: about how much the publisher of the most profitable video game of all time, second highest selling video game of all time, and fastest selling title in entertainment (reaching a billion dollars in sales in hours) of all time is valued at. Despite their massive hit title coming out the better half of a decade ago, it still manages to have over a hundred thousand players into it's virtual world concurrently at any given moment and hauled in almost a $1B last year alone. $9,000,000,000: about how much Decentraland is worth, a game with no accolades and limited interest from the public in joining the ~1,200 active players that have fooled themselves into thinking they're enjoying it as the other 98% of those who played then tossed it in the trash were unable to do. "It's about the potential" they say, seeming to think Grand Theft Auto VI won't be yet another blockbuster title from Rockstar, grossing billions and joining its precedessors in being regarded critically as one of the best games of all time.

You can lose big you can win big, nothing ventured nothing gained. There's a reason crypto appeals to younger generations so much too, instant gratification & the hatred of anything that seems too slow. Which is why its sketchy things like BTC will last long or have as many crypto's tied to them, its just that BTC is like a ledger everyone uses & the original cryptocurrency. People will always choose the fastest cryptos for transactions, to the point its as instant as debit & credit card transcations. It won't stop there. People will soon want instant transactions through augmented reality, VI virtual reality. Then they will want artificial intelligence to be able to determine what they want to buy, buy it for them. Okay lol not the last one, mega corps like Facebook & Amazon just made that up, but you will get a ton of institutions trying to centralize crypto by asking people to let them "Hold" their crypto so its more convenient to do things. Hopefully enough people have common sense and just have their own wallets they send or receive crypto from.

part of the algorithm guide lines shows that it has an VI that looks for facial features in thumbnail images and promotes those over ones without. Its a learning engine thing, kids/teens youtubers on the platform found that if they put a face in the thumb then they get more views because at a glance they can see who's vid it is and the general emotion of the vid. Since its popular with kids and they make up a good % of the metrics the algorithm then thinks that this should be for everyone to boost views, now it knows no different. Eventually it will come full circle, as more people add vids with the thumbnail selfie, the more unusual ones will end up picked over them for virtue of being different, then the algorithm starts the cycle again

TY, It's interesting work, but after I've read this study (whole, not just an article), there is one important sentence there. Again, do not take me wrong, but *"We observe low energy demand per transaction in active DLT systems that are characterized by comparatively small numbers of validators and high throughput. "* \- Chapter V.- Results, page 7, right under table VI. And when I look at table III, page 5, it makes sense...they were counting in calculations with 21 validator nodes and 10 000TPS for HBAR compared to 183 723 validators and 3 000TPS for ETH. I am not ETH fan, but even with basic math and logic I can see, it takes way more energy to process and validate transaction on 183 723 computers, then on 21...same applies to other chains. I will put asside the fact, that 21 validator nodes is very centralized, but what will happen, if they will run let's say 1 000 validator nodes? Legit question - I do not understand HBAR that much and I hold a small bag because I was impressed with hole tech and "whispering" mechanism...

>To clarify, the IRS, as an agency, was never established by an act of Congress or approved for implementation by statute law. Nor does it have to be. It was established by the executive branch of the United States to enforce powers granted by the 16th amendment to the constitution. Also, what act of congress is not statute law? Is this conspiracy copy-pasta? >The IRS is contracted by the US department of Treasury. I have no idea what this means. It's a federal agency under the Department of the Treasury. You talked about sources so I would need one for this because I could not find supporting evidence. >There is no statute, currently, that allows the privatization of Government Tax Administration. Therefore, most of the creational process of the IRS was illegal. IRS is not private so this isn't an issue but it sure would be if the IRS was private. Sounds like conspiracy copy-pasta. >Currently, the IRS, and subsequently the Treasury, are not subject to FOIA, regarding any operations or legal implementation of operations of the IRS. In essence, if you were to request, through FOIA, a copy of the corporate charter, the delegation orders from the Secretary of the Treasury authorizing the implementation and collection of taxes, or the delegation from the Commissioner of Internal Revenue to the Commissioner of Internal Revenue Services to implement the administration or collection of United States government taxes, you will receive nothing. They are not subject to FOIA requirements. Well I suppose they could send you a copy of the 16th amendment but they have a job to do, sorry. FOIA... they keep tax records, there's lots of laws surrounding being an employee and the data they collect. You cited some of the laws below but I'm not sure you're aware of their contents. That said the implementation of the IRS is the execution of the form data we send them so what secrets can there possibly be? The only thing FOIA would expose is people's finances, no thanks. >Treasury Order 150-10 delegates all IRS authority directly to the Commissioner of Internal Revenue who administrates implementation of IRC, Internal Revenue Code. However, the IRC makes no mention of the IRS. They don't have to, the IRS is there simply because the Commissioner would never finish his job is he had to do it alone. We have an executive branch because you cannot codify the entirety of laws, lots of social norms and standards go into enforcement of laws, some of which is done via statute. This is part of why decentralized blockchain-based governance does not exist. >In IRC, book 68A, section 7802, authorization is given for an oversight board which will give reports to Congress, but has no oversight authority in the operation of the IRS. Congress itself is the oversight authority, the board gathers information for our representatives to consume and decide upon. >Finally, a closer review of 31 U.S.C. discloses that the Internal Revenue Service is not a division, bureau, or in any part, a part of theUnited States Treasury. 31 U.S.C chapter 3 does not list the IRS as an agency of the Treasury. 31 U.S.C subtitle VI section 9101 does not list the IRS as a government owned corporation. 31 U.S.C subtitle I chapter 9 section 901 does not list the IRS as an authorized agency. Taxes are covered in 26 U.S.C. and is a copy-pasta of the tax code itself. All powers granted are to the Secretary of the Treasury and the IRS acts on their behalf. No, the methods of the IRS are not codified in statutes but there are laws pertaining to certain things like employee standards and the actual taxes imposed. Most importantly, the authority of the IRS comes from their boss, the Secretary of the Treasury even if it is executed by a Commissioner chosen by the President (who happens to be the Secretaries boss).

Here are my sources, directly from the current statutes in place: To clarify, the IRS, as an agency, was never established by an act of Congress or approved for implementation by statute law. The IRS is contracted by the US department of Treasury. There is no statute, currently, that allows the privatization of Government Tax Administration. Therefore, most of the creational process of the IRS was illegal. Treasury Order 150-10 delegates all IRS authority directly to the Commissioner of Internal Revenue who administrates implementation of IRC, Internal Revenue Code. However, the IRC makes no mention of the IRS. TL;DR no, they aren’t.

tldr; Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will be delayed indefinitely until they can finally come up with a satisfactory pun for Bitcoin. "Believe it or not, peppering our massive digital world with juvenile ‘69’ jokes and naughty innuendo has traditionally been the most difficult part of game design for us," Rockstar President Sam Houser said. "At this point, we can probably only milk GTA 5 for another 12, maybe 23 years, at most," CEO Strauss Zelnick said. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. This is one part of trading that I am truly horrible at. I do the text book typical error of selling my good trades to soon (they "always" go up more after) and hold on to my bad trades for too long (they ALWAYS go down further). Using the Vortex Indicator as a profit taking indicator is one way to go. When your run up is over, the positive VI will cross down through the negative VI to confirm shift from up trend to down trend. You want to sell at that cross through or just before. However, selling just before can be premature and the VI can reverse so according to professionals, you are supposed to wait an sell during the cross or just after.

>not sure if it would violate any rules No fam, you are good. I did the research for you. Below are the associated Terms of Use and Policy Guidelines for IG and FB. Terms of Use 6. You may not use the Instagram service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. International users agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content. 14. You must not, in the use of Instagram, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). [https://www.instagram.com/about/legal/terms/before-january-19-2013/](https://www.instagram.com/about/legal/terms/before-january-19-2013/) VI. How do we respond to legal requests or prevent harm? We access, preserve and share your information with regulators, law enforcement or others: In response to a legal request (like a search warrant, court order or subpoena) if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. This may include responding to legal requests from jurisdictions outside of the United States when we have a good-faith belief that the response is required by law in that jurisdiction, affects users in that jurisdiction, and is consistent with internationally recognized standards. When we have a good-faith belief it is necessary to: detect, prevent and address fraud, unauthorized use of the Products, violations of our terms or policies, or other harmful or illegal activity; to protect ourselves (including our rights, property or Products), you or others, including as part of investigations or regulatory inquiries; or to prevent death or imminent bodily harm. For example, if relevant, we provide information to and receive information from third-party partners about the reliability of your account to prevent fraud, abuse and other harmful activity on and off our Products. [https://help.instagram.com/519522125107875](https://help.instagram.com/519522125107875) Reducing the Spread of False Information on Instagram We use signals, like feedback from our community, to identify posts that may contain false information. We work with third-party fact-checkers across the globe who review content in over 60 languages and are certified through the non-partisan International Fact-Checking Network to help identify, review and label false information. As we work to limit the spread, here are some tips on what to look out for: Consider the photos. False information posts often contain manipulated images or videos. Sometimes the photo may be authentic, but taken out of context. You can search elsewhere for the photo or image to verify where it came from. Be skeptical of headlines. False information posts often have catchy text in all caps with exclamation points. If shocking claims in the headline sound unbelievable, they might be. Investigate the source. Ensure that the post is from a source that you trust. If the post comes from an unfamiliar account, make sure to learn more. Watch for unusual formatting. Many false information sites have misspellings or awkward layouts. Read carefully if you see these signs. Inspect the dates. False information posts may contain timelines that make no sense, or event dates that have been altered. Check the evidence. Check the poster’s sources to confirm that they are accurate. Lack of evidence or reliance on unnamed experts may indicate false information.
