Buildings, hospitals, and schools don’t take as much money as the debt the US accumulated through IG h the course of the year to build. Rather, it’s the derivatives market and servicing the debt that is causing this debt spiral and continuous printing in hopes of digging themselves out of the hole (which obviously isn’t happening). I suggest you read more into what the US is servicing their debt on and then post a more reasonable response. The intake of taxes alone per year isn’t enough to service the interest alone on the defense spending budget in the US. I can guarantee you the US isn’t worried about hospitals and schools as much as they are about their national defense. This has everything to do with Bitcoin because the more money they print, the more money will trickle into scarce assets. This is why Bitcoin is near all time highs. And for anyone wondering how Revolut let’s you send back for cash honoring any price increase, they simple hedge their exposure on a CFD platform such as IG Index. Never at any stage do the do anything involving real ETH. They just added this feature to attract more capital to their platform. When you pay in cash and then buy ETH, they still have your cash but move it from a customer ring fenced account to their own balance sheet.

Ledger hardware wallets will wipe themselves after 3 incorrect PIN attempts. As he had 3 hardware wallets that means you would most likely need either to be able to unlock his computer to get the wallet file (which is a skeleton wallet, the signing mnemonics only exist inside the hardware wallets). Failing that it is is possible to recreate a multisig quorum, but you would need 100% of the mnemonics, so potentially 3 (all of them) 12-24 words mnemonic seeds. There is a good chance he has them written down on paper or stamped into metal with hammer. Every single account that sends you a DM is a scammer. Every single "recovery expert" with YouTube / FB / IG / TG testimonials is a scam.

All media is biased man, it's really unfortunate. Believe me, I see it on Fox News too. I really try to watch unbiased networks in Australia, and even then, I fact-check almost everything. What really hurts is social media, like IG and Facebook (and even Reddit). One post with a clickbait headline will lead masses of people to believe it's true. And as you said, it's their job to gain viewership. Making people shit their pants/get angry is how they do it. It's called Show Business for a reason. And honestly, I assumed you were a bot/someone who gets paid to target anyone's comments with "Trump." I've come across a lot of them in the past year. And yes, I'm sure there are probably bots too that target any comments with "Biden/Harris." I think the solution is moments like this, where we both recognize that although we don't agree on the same points, we were both willing to have a discussion (albeit not friendly, at the start) and hear each other out. It's one step closer to understanding the world around us, and the viewpoints of others. Now we are sitting here being friendly, talking about our love for Bitcoin and how one day we'll both be sitting on our yachts somewhere in the Caribbean, clinking our beers together talking about life, disagreeing about politics, and trying to figure out where we're going to fly our helicopters for lunch. No, I definitely plan on staying on base. Especially just getting started where a lot of people might only be willing to throw $20 at it. $15 to swap on eth doesn’t make sense for that. I can't really see people spending btc on anything trivial. People on alt life style IG accounts talk about buying fruit in the marketplace for btc and paying their rent etc...but unless your earning BTC at a constant rate, why would you use something like gold to buy goods and services? Yeah I have but at the very beginning when I got into bitcoin. I sold $2000ish of profit and used it to buy an iPhone and a wallet and thought I was so smart and rich. I quickly realized from consuming more bitcoin info and seeing how the price moved, that I’m better off just saving in it, rather trying to trade & time short term crazy moves,and spending my dollars I earn instead. And correct about my parents, I haven’t made an extreme lifestyle or expense upgrade other than maybe more quality food. If anything bitcoin has made me a much more conscious spender and saver. If it wasn’t for bitcoin in my life, I know I would have gave into the lifestyle inflation creep psyop ( finance car, mortgage nice home, cool IG trips, designer clothes) you know that type. I mean I still enjoy life and have had fun, but I’m always thinking hmmm should I do that or do I really need that? Usually I don’t, so I stack more sats hahaha

Personally, the bulk of my investments are in "boring" and "safer" things like index funds. If you buy specifically into a total stock market index fund like VTSAX (or its ETF equivalent VTI), you're essentially purchasing small pieces of every public company on the stock market. That is diversification at its finest. Diversification is key. You can't justify buying other things due to lack of info? The real problem is that you shouldn't justify pooling all of your money into one basket. That's a lot of risk. If an emergency happens that necessitates liquidating your BTC but at the same time BTC crashes unexpectedly, what are you gonna do? It is much safer to diversify your holdings. Also, it worries me to hear you say that all of your savings are in BTC. That's not exactly the most liquid scenario because you'd have to sell the BTC first to get cash (unless if you directly use BTC at places that accept it as payment ofc). It might be better to have some cash in a high yield savings account (or a regular savings account) with at least 3-6 months' worth of expenses stashed away. Then, you only touch this when emergencies come up. Lastly, it's important to know some basic personal finance to help inform your saving and investing decisions. A good starting point is free finance resources, like @personalfinanceclub or @basicfinancialliteracy on IG.

While i agree she’s pretty foolish to lose her money to a scam like that… These platforms, Facebook, IG, YouTube, all of them, need to be held liable for the ads they’re promoting. Let’s not forget the ***massive amount of revenue*** they are earning from these ads. They have plenty of resources to vet advertisers better to prevent malicious advertisements.

Because YT, FB, and IG do not actually care about people scamming since many of the underpaid contractors are eager to accept bribes by black hat marketers to run scams. There's a number of lawsuits against Meta and Google for this and plenty of this information has come out in investigations during these cases.

You do realize that Facebook, IG, TikTok, politicians, and independent research firms literally do this very thing with data that is either mined or stolen everyday. It’s HOW they target you. Keep telling yourself that HEX is a scam, but be sure you file bank CDs in the same column while the rest of us continue to grow our net worth. Just don’t tell people that Hex is a scam without providing proof of your claim. It makes you look foolish. Not for nothing but I was watching some IG video yesterday from a guy who visited Turkmenistan and it kind of freaked me out. Apparently there is NO INTERNET in that country AT ALL? Yeah I can’t say for sure what the legality side is. But plenty of game companies forbid trading IG items for real world currency. Everyone who is buying and selling items for the majority of games that I’m aware of, is doing so in violation of the ToS of the game. Which could be how they indemnify themselves of any wrong doing. The problem I see with blockchain based games is if they offer a path to converting your IG assets to real currency via the chain that the game operates. That’s where I think we start to enter a legal gray area.

I watched a video of Biden telling a trade worker that he has a Marine with him that carries the codes to blow up the entire world (unprompted too - surprised he didn't just start telling him the actual codes)...it's just a clown show in my country at this point. All I can do is continue my DCA and also hope that things get better IG, but not very likely politics-wise.
